Clean place but the people who work there are lazy and useless once in a while you will find a older person to help you but people are asking each other where stuff is shame because it’s a very clean place and they even have some good finish tiles wood etc at close out prices but it’s like they don’t want to be there I asked where they kept the tiles and it took 15 minutes to get a person from the flooring area to come over and confirmed the price not organized but definitely better than Home Depot on Targee st that place is a mess
So came here after going to Home DepotPretty much the sameHad to go hunting for helpThe employees here seem to be friendly and helpful but need some more product knowledgeMaybe new hires for the Fall?Had a better selection or more items on stockBut still wasnt able to pick up everything that I needed.
Bought a dryer here paid for installation and I just have dryer sitting in middle of my living room. Tried to call the store nobody picks up, called customer service they just transfer me to the store still nobody picks up. Home Depot needed to wait a week extra for delivery, should’ve just bought it there it would’ve been faster.
Poor service with bad manners dont know how to be respectful with customers had to call for help twice and still came after there sweet time and then when arrived I asked if he can help us. he started helping other customers who came after me and totally ignored me and Im the 1 who called for customer service . And the name of that person name is (Winston) older aged.
Store is fine. Staff are friendly but have no idea how to help you. I was trying to buy a shed. Associate sent me to customer service. Customer service sent me to check out. Check out told me I had to call a 1 800 number. After a long wait on hold, dude on the phone told me I had to go to their website and set up an installation appointment before I could buy any sheds, no matter how small.
Employees need to really get it together at this establishment. Ive been trying to get help in the appliance section for weeks and theres never anyone there!!!! I go up to customer service and they call and say they will be right with you go back to appliances and still they never come. I call them throughout the day almost everyday and still no answer!!!! or they pick up the phone the hang it up on me. I took video if the Managers would like to challenge me on this. Staff is a waste at this establishment all you see them do is look at their phone when they walk by you.
I purchased a washer and dryer on 2-14-21. Was told the dryer wasnt in stock at the time, but it would be in before the scheduled delivery date of 3-17. the delivery date came and went, no dryer. So far it has been rescheduled 3 times, and no one even bothers to call and give us an update. Went into the store, everyone promises that they will call us in a day to give us an update, even the managers. Still waiting today for a appliance that was purchased almost 2 months ago!
Honestly had a terrible experience. Customer service is a joke and doesn’t help whatsoever. They had no idea what they were doing or who to send me to and send me all over the place and kept cutting me off instead of listening to exactly what I was looking for because they were in a rush to see the next person. There was also a lot of people not bothering to wear a mask, including employees which is uncomfortable.
My experience with Lowes has been Aweful. I have been waiting over a month for an order on a fridge. They took the money delayed my purchase over a month and i got nothing besides them holding my money. On all changed days they said it would deleiver between 8am to 8pm i called out of work for NOTHInG the last delayed delievery date i got nothing called(over three hours each time 4out of the 7 time was over a 3 hour hold).. just to be told they sold my order to someone else. They took my money had me wait over a month just to end up with nothing with over a 1000$ purchase. Horrible Horrible horrible
Worse customer service.. no one cares to fix the lumber section. I buy 1x3s and theres broken pieces there that can be used as spears, its not organized and its 9am. You would expect that from the store at like 5 but not 9am. No one greeted me, or said anything to me the whole time I was there (about 30 min). The self checkout lady was too busy chatting with every other employee to even look up while I was checking out. I could have taken items (I didnt) but no one was even paying attention. Maybe I should go to home depot
Cashier at the customer service didnt give me change ,but offered me some attitude. After asking for anyone but her to help me, another associate fixed the problem and apologized.Further, I ve noticed staff not very knowledgeable of the items they are selling ( whats molding?)..Another associate closed her lane while seeing me approaching her to check out. However another cashier was eager to help me , she was very polite and helpful, I wish there were more people like her.
Im surprised this location has 4 star average reviews. It was my first time putting an online order for railing kits. Ive ordered about a week and half ago and thought all my kits will arrive on time. Little did I know, they called me on the delivery day that few items are out of stock. Ive already scheduled a contractor to come to set it up; I couldnt cancel the appointment last minute and think Ill get one soon.I spoke with the representative from N.W. Lowes about my situation and she said I can try other Lowes and cancel this current order. She said I can just call in and not come to the store myself.I wanted to check other Lowes in the area before I put another online order to be safe. I visited the other location myself and I was able to find missing parts. I bought it from a different location and wanted to cancel the ones I ordered from N.W Lowes.I been calling last one hour. I was put on hold once. 6 times I was hung up. Ill try few more attempts before I visit them to cancel. How do they have 4 stars? Bot reviews?
Having told at cash register that I couldn’t get the price shown online, I wheeled a Werner ladder back. Out of nowhere, a friendly associate named Ern greeted me and offered to find a manager to help with the matter. He did and I was really thankful for his help. An extraordinary, excellent and exemplary customer service personnel who brings love to Lowes.
Do NOT buy major appliance here!! Go elsewhere! I purchased a fridge with a service contract and even though I had my receipt and email showing I purchased a service contract...THEY LOST IT!! It was for 5 years, year 3 I need servicing and this company is so disorganized they claimed it was 1. Not registered properly 2. Couldnt locate it 3. Have not records of it at all.DO NOT PURCHASE anything more than a plant from this company!!!
I had ordered a grill online and received an email this morning that it was ready for pick up waited a while they couldnt find my order so disorganized. We werent the only ones waiting. Asked for a refund. Very disappointed and still waiting for my refund. Manager was no help.
Worst customer service ever!!! Called several times for appliance repair on a brand new refrigerator and was put on hold so many times, then conveniently disconnected. Then tried a day later and Left my name and number and never a call back. Then called today again and asked to speak to the manager whose name is Dana and she also never picked up the phone after being on hold for over 30 minutes. Just called corporate offices to report the issues - seriously will be shopping elsewhere!! Best Buy or PC Richards for sure! Would give 1/2 star or no stars if that was an option.
The people here are extremely helpful and always provide the best service. Special thanks to Azvar, both Mikes in pro, Jimmy from plumbing, Will from Paint, Tom from Electric, Edwin from lumbar and Shane! These guys are all super friendly and very patient. I for one know nothing at all about anything home related renovations these guys instructed me throughout the way. Super thankful!
After buying a very expensive storm door called the store to ask about an installation charge. Was puy on hold for 15 min. Person who answered gave me an answer that had nothing to do with what I asked, asked to speak to someone who could help me was hung up on. Finally got someone in the doors dept,he couldnt even access the information.I will NEVER do business with them againI
The team member, tall with dirty blonde hair who was also assisting another customer by cutting velour blinds was great. Not only did he give good suggestions, he handed me off to another great team member in plumbing who was able to continue assisting me. Who says MEN cant multi tasks! Thank you Guys!
Delivery unreliable. Nobody picks up phones. Go ahead try and call the store. Staff in store at pro desk has no idea what they have and lie to avoid having to walk around. Worst store there is. Plumbing section has half the fittings necessary to complete a typical plumbing job. I hate this place and cringe every time I come here. Yes I wish I didn’t have to shop here but because of covid other stores are simply out of some items. STAFF HORRIBLE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR PROBLEMS IS NON EXISTENT. THEY CAN NOT FIX PROBLEMS WHEN THEY ARRIVE. THEY JUST WANT TO KNOW WHO TOOK THE ORDER AND WHOSE FAULT IT WAS. NO SOLUTIONS ONLY FINGER POINTING
Worst customer service I have ever experienced from this store. I ordered a dryer and had to reschedule a delivery and it turned into an absolute nightmare. I finally had to cancel it. The store doesn’t answer the phone and when they do all they do is transfer you and it rings and rings and then u get disconnected I will never order anything from them again.
I downloaded the Lowes mobile app which was totally useless for picking up my order. Pick up curbside is a joke! Very disgusted with this experience.I actually had to get out of my car just to find out how to pickup my order. The young man who brought my purchase out o my car was very polite and helpful. Kind of the place to go if you need stuff for the house. Better customer service than Home Depot (not a fan) but could still use more staff on the floor. Returns can be a hassle. Oddly, I can only find about 2/3 of what I need for any given project which is really annoying.
The worst Lowe’s I have been to. The employees are rude and has no positive attitude to help customers. No response when I asked questions. Any other Lowe’s I went to they were nice and always approached me and asked if I need help. This store when you ask them something they show a face and act like I am bothering them. May be one or two employees I found nice. These people are lazy and they definitely hate their job. The store manager has to work on this. I am never going back there again.
Customers rarely leave a review when they have a good experience but the customer service provided by one of youre sales associates was phenomenal and went above and beyond for me as a customer. Adrian from appliances saw me fidgeting around looking for a a fridge filter, Adrian came to help with out me asking. Greeted me asked what I needee help with, and found the filter for the my fridge. Adrian went a step further and showed me how to remove and replace the filter on a floor model. Adrian is a great employee
Could definitely be a much better store staff knows nothing snotty female associate said she was mgr wanted to rent the pick up was told to go next door to Home Depot asked her why she said they couldnt find the key I went to look in the truck and it was in the ignition maybe they need to be retrained in many departments 2 stars is a stretch
The shop is awesome. So are the people working there. The guy stationed in tools area( drills, cutters, etc) was great. No one was available to help cut a long wood bar for me, and this guy left his station when I asked for help and cut the wood bar manually with a saw! No questions asked. This what makes this shop awesome.
The store happens to employ some of the most unprofessional folks there is. It took me an hour to get 10 of feet of wire to be cut. The madam helping refused to produce a correct label and refused to correct her obvious mistake. Its no fun to go to these stores, but this is one of the worst ever been to! 0 STARS, HORRIBLE. I waited 45 minutes in the back of the lumber section of the store for worker to hopefully cut a piece of wood. Three workers told me they would go to the front and ask someone to come back no one ever did I stood at the back of the store yelling help please, anybody, salesperson, no one even looked my way. Then I resorted to calling the store phone number three times, no one even bothered to answer, this is a disgrace
Very difficult to find prices for items and frustrating to have to keep finding someone to ask, feels bothersome, and i hope they can fix this issue. Incredibly rude employee telling people to back up and get out of the way in the worst manner possible. Incedibly dismissive when requesting gelp to find a product. DO NOT SHOP HERE.
Overall my experience here was decent. There was a lot of parking (it was a Tuesday evening) so it was convenient and we didn’t have to walk far with tools and other Materials. The prices were okay and they have a big selection. My only complaints are that there is a funny smell, many aisles looked like there were sunflower seeds or some other types of seeds spilled on everything which I assume were birds ??
Unfortunately, I seem to be required to put a star on the rating system in order to complain.On Saturday. May 23rd. my wife and I went to your Forest ave. store to look at refrigerators, with one particular one advertised to be there. We didnt see it. My wife, who is not well, decided to wait on line to ask a salesperson about it while I contunued to look. As my wife waited patiently, as the salesperson was finishing with the customer after a 10 minute wait, suddenly another customer appeared from the rear. This I witnessed as I approached my wife. Salesperson did not inform my wife until my wife questioned why she wasnt next. It was only then that salesperson said other customer was there first. Not true. Salesperson then asked if my wife had a question. My wife replied thst she is leaving. Salesperson said ,ok, leave. I told him to be nice. Went to customer service to complain . Woman at desk said she paged manager for us. She was not wearing a mask. Other employee with her was not wearing a make. When manager finally came, he was wearing his mask improperly. Manager was informed that we were waiting to speak to him but instead went to the second employee who directed him to a different customer. Manager did not even acknowledge us to tell us he had a customer in front of us until I approached him and questioned him. As we left, we asked salesperson to put her mask on. She just looked at us. My wife has cancer. Her health is compromised. Needless to say we will not be coming back. Also we counted five of your employees not wearing there masks. Most had them on their chin not covering their mouth.
Forest Ave location is the worst store. Poor management. Lack of service. Have been waiting for help for more than 30 minutes. I asked Every single employee that pass by and the only answer I’m getting “will call someone to help you”, I called the store I explained what’s going on, the person who answered the phone didn’t even say a word, just placed me in hold for another 12 min then they hung up on me. Really an awful experience. No one should say it’s better than homedepot, I thought so also but now it’s the same exact awful experience. No one wants to work. You see them just passing by, going around the aisles and that’s it.
After picking up an online order, to my surprise once i opened the box reaching home found the bolts are missing. Customer Care guys picking the call was too rude and was reluctant to resolve the issue. To get a person in store it takes more than 15 mins and it took almost 1 hour. Eventually i was lucky to get hold of the manager and she tried to resolve the issue. This store not recommened for online orders.
This store is terrible. I ordered a refrigerator and was given a date for delivery. They scheduled me for a Monday. They never came. Said they would be there on Tuesday. On Tuesday morning I received a text alert saying my fridge was out for delivery and would be at my house between 8:30-12:30, as promised. Later on Tuesday they called my husband and said that the fridge we ordered won’t be in for another month. We had already taken our old fridge out. How can one be expected to live without a refrigerator for a month? Especially when you have a baby!?! They offered nothing for this lousy customer service. Moral: shop at Home Depot!
Why I stopped shopping here: Back in 2013 I purchased a fixer upper, spent over $45,000 between Home Depot and Lowes. The project took over 6 months to complete and I had items that I needed to return. The lady at the return counter at Lowes refused to give me a store credit or a refund. The guy at the Home Depot return counter had no problem giving me store credit. Bye bye Lowes!!! Penny wise, but pound foolish!!!
I cant even give them one star for this order. We ordered doors in October. It took them TWO MONTHS to deliver! We called so many times and got nothing but the ruin around! People even just hung up on us. Then FINALLY we got a phone call saying the doors had arrived. We went to the store and they said they hadnt come yet. We made them listen to the voice mail. It took nearly TWO HOURS and FOUR MANAGERS to find our order. This was the worst ever experience with Lowes!
They very often, though not always, have exactly what Im looking for. Depending on what your looking for, the staff can be quite helpful.As is the case, with many places these days, being an educated consumer, is your best best! To help you get what you need and to help the staff, direct you to the correct place. Having their card/keytag, and the MyLowes app on your smartphone all does help immensely.
Terrible customer service. No real register people just a kiosk. When you ask for help when purchasing I was told to goto customer service. When at customer service instead of finding an answer to my problem the response from customer service was we can just refund you.When I was at the kiosk I wanted to purchase an extended warranty. Ar the end if the transaction it had an on screen prompt that reminds the cashier to give me the brochure with an explanation of coverages. Rhe cashier just hit yes that she gave it to me and said the info would print out on my receipt. Well no info. Than was told to goto customer service. At customer service it was like she couldnt be bothered and her answer to the problem was just refund the whole sale. What kind of service is this ???
SOMEONE CALLED ME AROUND 7 AM ON A SUNDAY AND WOKE ME FROM MY SLEEP TO APOLOGIZE FOR MISSING MY GUARANTEED DELIVERY DATE OF THIS PAST FRIDAY. I WAS OK WITH THAT BECAUSE I THOUGHT HE WAS TRYING TO FIX THE SITUATION. HE ASKED IF I STILL WANT THE DELIVERY. I SAID YES. I ASKED IF IT CAN BE DELIVERED TODAY. HE SAID HE WOULD TRY HIS BEST AND CALL ME BACK. ITS NOW 4 HOURS LATER AND NO CALL. I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SHE SAID ITS 1 OF 2 GUYS. TRANSFERRED ME ABOUT 30 MINUTES AGO, STILL WAITING ON HOLD.Also, we were on the phone on Friday with the manager Maegan. we didnt get anything. We explained the whole situation and she had no remorse or empathy whatsoever. She HUNG UP the phone one me FOUR times and every time I called back she said her battery died. She never called me, We had to keep calling her back. I finally said Im not getting off the phone until there is a resolution. She out me on hold for like another 45 minutes then said she has to go for personal reasons but she will call me right back. This was several hours before her shift ended (according to her). I asked her very nicely to call me back or I will have to take it up with corporate. She said DO NOT THREATEN ME. I said madam, with all due respect I am not threatening you I just want you to see things and where I am coming from. She promised to call me she never did.What a nasty horrible place to be a customer, we still did not get anything that we ordered.
I dont know what with this lowes but the more I come here the more damaged and poorly packaged products I have to sift through to find a good unopened one. Even the selection of wood here is quite terrible, I sometimes need to go through a whole bundle of wood to find the few pieces I want. I come here mostly for convenience (location) but I honestly find Home Depots wood selection to be a lot better.Ive recently also tried online pickup, this new method is a counter specific for online pickups, which in theory should save me time but I ended up spending 15 minutes waiting for an associate to be able to assist me. To his defense he was helping someone else that dragged him away from the counter but it sort of defeats the purpose of online pickup (saving time) when I couldve just selected the product myself and went through self checkout 4x compared to the time it took me to get help.
I got up this morning thinking, I go into lowes get deck paint, get back and start working on my project. So I grab my paint and wait on line behind one other customer. It was just 9:15 am and I was running on time, I waited 15 minutes while the lowes employee is taking care of his first customer. The employee was done with first customer, he then looked at me and walked away. So I waited for another 15 minutes and the employee never came back. At that point I walked out of the store and went to home depot. Im a hispanic male and always have to watch some people for the way they want to threat me. Im also an American citizen and dont deserve this especiall on these days. I will never shop in lowes again
On , this day . The 4th of July .I was extremely surprised to meet a young pleasant girl in Appliances named KIM . I hope I got her name right.She was really awesome and gave me the help I really needed. Not used to this kind of personal service at big box stores. Especially Lowes and Home Depot.Kim again thank you ...Give her a raise. Seriously
Literally everyone is standing around. As I looked for help with a christmas tree I was pointed to the direction of locked gates, never informed that we had to exit the building or that wed need staff assistance outside. Found a tree but no staff in sight, had to go back in to ask for assistance where I was brushed off by an employee hanging sales tags who asnwered Ill be there in a minute. Mind you its winter in NYC temperature is at 12 degrees right now, go back outside to wait for staff in the freezing wind. I end up having to carry the tree inside for them to carry it back out, to only carry it back in for me to purchase. In conclusion I counted 10 employees in sight 1 cashier was working he took care of my purchase & 2 older gentlemen at self checkout 4 of the employees literally just stood together in a group talking about personal matters. So terrible experience at least a staff or 15 or more and absolutely no urgency to assist needy customers.
Sunday 11/18/18, I went to Bayonne Lowes to order a fireplace, they didnt have the one I wanted in stock so they called Staten Island who had one left and asked to hold the fireplace for me. I went there and everything was fine, the fireplace was there, I placed an order for home delivery the next day. Monday comes around and my delivery was expected to come between 5-9 pm. 8:30, no phone call or fireplace yet, I called XPO to get an update. The driver was having truck troubles so I rescheduled for delivery Tuesday 11/20/18. Get a text message early that my fireplace is out for delivery expected in the afternoon again. My husband calls to tell me that the driver is having truck troubles again, and my delivery is expected between 24-78 HOURS. I paid 100$ for shipping for it to cross a bridge and be delivered next day. I call the Lowes store to cancel my order, after being placed on hold twice by two different people I tried calling multiple times for the phone to be answered and immediately placed on hold. This is the worst shopping experience I have ever had at a store. I dont understand how it is possible to treat customers this way. I will never shop at another Lowes again. This store doesnt even deserve one star, but unfortunately its the lowest I can go.
I cannot believe the level incompetence when it comes to the appliance department and all that comes with it. We have ordered a Bosch dishwasher for the third time, and instead of checking what was wrong with it the installers that Lowe’s sent to us again ran off before they can deal with it and used the dishwasher is faulty excuse so that they wouldn’t have to solve the problem. We have been waiting for 5 months to get a working dishwasher because each time it takes a month to wait for it to arrive and then for the installation. The first time they claimed that the dishwasher was faulty. The second time they claimed that it was the wrong size. We ordered the correct size, then another month and a half later they installed it, failed to explore whether it was working properly or if there was an underlying electrical issue, which is what it seems to be now. We are livid, and frustrated with this service. Do not order dishwashers from this Lowe’s under any circumstances!
Went to Lowes to purchase a floating floor that recently went on sale. they didnt have it in stock so it had to be ordered from the warehouse. the salesperson did what he had to do on the computer and then said go to a cashier and pay the bill. I never got a copy of whatever he did on the computer and as a result when I got to the cashier I realized that I wasnt getting the sale price but the regular price! The sales price apparently was not in the computer the salesperson had to call a manager to get the sales price on the bill, incredible! Also they should always give a copy to the customer when they make up a special order so the customer can review the order to make sure its correct. I wound up cancelling the order because customer service could not get it right!
The store have the worst customer service ever in the history of customer service. I was in the store , paid for assessment of appliance, after one month , they never bother to call or schedule a day for the assessment. I went to the store to cancel and get my refund. I was told by a lady that identified herself as Lucky, that it will take 15 days before I can get my refund. Prior to that, I had spoken to a guy in the appliance department that refuse to give his name but was telling at me to check my bank for my refund.He was so rude that he hanged up on me.Horrible service at lowes. Whatever you buy at lowes, check your bank statement else you might miss out on your refund.
During self-service checkout a $25 item scanned twice. When large items are scanned there is a delay for supervisory personnel attention when the item is placed on the scale checkout bagging area as a shopper is instructed.This attendant intervention had to be done again when the second large item was scanned when the attendant could clearly see the second item in the shopping cart. There were no cashiers in any lane, self-service or otherwise. Further had to wait in line again to have the overcharge refunded at the separate returns area.The good news, employees at the entrance were knowledgeable when questioned about the whereabouts of sought items.
Horrible! Ordered online for “pick up in store” go to the stores Pick Up area at the entrance, wait half an hour and they can’t find the product I ordered?? I got a call and email saying it was ready and they lost it same day? Then I wait at paint for another 15 minutes while they call for an employee to come to paint. I order a shade of white and walk to pick up some brushes. When I get back to the desk the paint is there- it’s yellow instead of white- and the employee has left again!They are running a terrible customer service retail store out there. Do not waste your time you will be so frustrated and stressed by the time you leave.
My washing machine busted so I had to buy a new machine so I chose lowes because Ive had good experiences in the past with service and delivery. When we got there we were helped by Chris in that department and he couldnt have been any more helpful or nice, he had me rang up within minutes and he was very knowledgeable thanks again Chris and lowes.
Nicest employees ever! They try to help in any way possible and even remember what you asked about in prior shopping excursions. Always so helpful about assistance with loading heavy items in the car. I never once observed any employee avoiding their duties or heard any negativity from anyone. They are all hard workers, helpful and kind and dont try to shove customers out the door at closing time. This Lowes is obviously doing something right!Update: November 2018--Yet again I have to compliment a Lowes employee. Peter, at the Forest Ave Staten Island location was extremely knowledgeable about the various staple guns and their special uses. He was most helpful to me as I tried to make a selection among the multitude of fastening items. He, and his fellow sales associates make shopping at Lowes a true pleasure.
I went to the ridge hill store. It is quite small. I asked someone at the service desk to contact another store. I wanted to see if another store had what I was looking for in stock. He made a simple task difficult. I looked the other store up on line. I got the information I was looking for before the customer service guy. I was very disappointed.
I needed light bulbs, and had to dispose of a dead CFL bulb. I first went to The Home Depot; they had no CFL disposal bin, and treated me like they didnt care. Went to Lowes right down the street; they had what I needed (including the CFL disposal bin) and didnt treat me like a jackass.
Placed and paid for a storm door and install on May, 22 and never received a call from contractor or Lowes as to schedule a install date. Called Lowes twice and they siad the contractor will call. Never did. Dont understand why a door that is in stock takes over two months to install. Canceled order.
Representative working carpet that day was nonchalant about helping and driving to do 2 things at once. Showed no interest in selling or helping the consumer.Tall caucasian man with sandy hair. Needs to get trained on saving a customer purchase. I walked out when he walked away doing other things.
Purchased a snow blower from a salesman who said the model I was buying was preassemble and brand new.When I got home I realized that someone already put gasoline in it and it doesn’t start. Not to mention the length at which I had to go to get it out of my truck.This Lowe’s is garbage, filled with lazy employees who don’t care about their customers.I don’t recommend shopping there when we have Home Depot on the island.Very unhappy with my purchase experience.
I made a purchase 2 days ago at this store and I was helped by this amazing assistant store manager (Pawel Fabich). I wanted to price match with homedepot and the model numbers didnt match, so he did online research for me and spent time to help me and eventually gave me a pretty close price match. He then went the extramile to help me carry the item into the trunk of my car with a big smile on his face. This was one of the best purchase experience Ive ever had!
They seem to have a very limited variety of all items. Out of stock on weed killer, plants all looking very dry and damaged. Floor tiles very few styles to choose from. I was also looking for clothes dryer very few to choose from. I will try PC RICHARDS for the dryer & a nursery for plants and weed killer. Casale tiles??
Prices are reasonable...the wait time and the customer services at times arent the best.... Alot of times its not to organized, open boxes and other items are rummaged through and nobody really checks it... but I still shop there its not terrible just needs some minor improvements
I always have a great experience when I come to this Lowes Home Improvement store,They have a huge selection of design sizes and styles for whatever youre looking for,The staff are very knowledgeable and always available to assist you with whatever you need, (but they are very often understaffed)It is a pleasure to shop here!
WOULD GIVE 5 STARS IF THERE WERE HELPFUL STAFF IN THE AISLES READY TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS.OTHER THAN THAT,I LIKE LOWES A LOT.ALWAYS GO THERE TO MAKE KEYS,BUY PAINT OR IF I NEED TOOLS.THE PRICES VARY BUT ARE DECENT.THE SELF CHECKOUT IS QUICKER THAN THE NORMAL LINE FOR QUICK PURCHASES.
Awful! LOWES just Discontinued their home automation line called IRIS now that the app has been removed from their server I can toss my 2 thousand dollars worth of equipment in the trash since none of it will work without the app. Just like that ..... they hit the off switch and Im screwed.
I have never been to this store, but after reading about the 3 Lowes employees in this store that came to the rescue of a Vietnam Veteran and essentially rebuilt his wheelchair for him when the government wouldnt ... how can I NOT post a review. It seems like every day all I see are depressing stories of self serving people... in Austin people rushed an overturned vehicle not to help the woman who was dying in the front seat... or the kids who were stuck in the back seat... but to steal all of the groceries she had just purchased. A woman is be beaten by a savage brute and people rush to take pics to post online.. this is very disheartening and makes me ashamed of the human race. So... these 3 men... who stepped out to help another human in need is refreshing news and I applaud their integrity and pray for the Lords blessing in their lives.
We spent 12,000.00 buying windows from them. There salesman Martin in charge of our window order is terrible. They couldnt find the windows when they arrived. He was no help. He referred it to the store manager. We ordered window blinds which got lost he didnt help at all. Dont waste your time. These are pella windows. You can order directly from Pella and there cheaper. They have stores in Staten Island or you can call them and a sales rep will come to your home. No need to pay 35.00 to have someone from Lowes come to messure your windows. Pella does it for free. I just place a 16,000.00 window order directly with them. As long as Martin does not handle the order i am good and so will you.....
Horrible. I tried to order a garage door opener on line....then they tell me I have to go to store. Theyll connect me. Spoke to Philip. He said hed call me right back. After 5 hours I asked a neighbor to drive me to Lowes. Store was empty and only 4 assoc.that I saw. One was Philip. He said he didnt have time to call me back. Short of help. Placed the order with him to get a garage door opener and get it installed by them. READY for this? 2 days a man will come to evaluate the job??? and then one week to install the opener??? Crazy
Great prices, not that great customer service.Low’s is both great and the worst at the same time. They have really good prices, maybe the best in the area, but at the same time, their prices come with a price: You can easily find yourself waiting for 15-25 minutes for someone to come and assist you, and even then, you have no guarantee that your question will be answered.Use them but ne ready to use your phone often for help ;)

2022-02-24Hello James was very helpful took his time with me. I had ordered a number of items and He help me take our time to make sure I picked up what needed to be picked up. James also helped me with the lockers for we both had trouble with them. I told James they should have kept my orders together rather then all over the place James was very knowledgable. 2022-04-14Ordered a fridge.Came dented.Returned it and reordered it.Took more than 3 weeks and no response yet.I would rather put 0 stars but it isn’t an option.Horrible customer service.Put me on hold for 15 minutes then hung up.Then called again and put me on hold for 35 minutes trying to cancel the order then told me you have to come physically to the store in order to cancel.I had to call the credit card company to postpone the due date.Worst experience buying anything ever.

2022-05-26Just the worst customer service! Associates just standing around talking, I dont care I just wanted to know what isle the under sink water filters were. One points and says plumbing and walks away. I get to plumbing I ask another associate, she says shell go ask the plumbing department, I watch her ask he laughs her off and walks away! So I opened up Google and the Lowes website start searching and it says isle 38, bay 15! Why of all reasons next to the toilets?! Hey Lowes really hope those associates are bringing in the money! Ill just buy elsewhere from now on!

2022-05-27I had a most unpleasant experience with a cashier named Calvin at terminal 29, 2:46 p.m. today. Calvin was handling a transaction for a woman so, I formed a line behind her. While processing the transaction for the woman, Calvin asked for the next customer and waved up a man who had walked up behind me. Ignoring my protest, Calvin proceeded to process a transaction for the man. Calvin made no attempt to explain why he took the customer behind me before me and when Inasked if he could ring me up he replied, Yea I guess if you want. I know Lowes cant be held responsible for individual employees practicing discrimination in thier stores but I hope you will take note, you have a problem in store number 1583.

2022-05-31Worst Place for DIY MaterialI have a backyard fence project and ordered the material from this sore. They screwed up the same order 4 times.1. They initially delivered with less than what I order; missing the 5 end post.2. I had to go to the store and waited 30 mins to talk to a manager. He promised to deliver 2 days later. Then, it was a no show.3. Went back to the store and waited 30 mins to talk to a manager. Another manager promised to deliver the next day. Then, the end post was unfinished; no cut through to make the holes for panel insertion.4. Have to go back to the store and probably need to wait another 30 mins and who knows if they are going to address the issue.In conclusion, these people are incapable to handle an order for backyard fence material. The store managers lack the basic problem solving skill to resolve any issue. Your emergency isnt their problem, they will make you wait 30 mins to talk to them when the staff dont have authority to do anything.Please go some where else.
