Love/hate relationship! I was approached by the store manager while in store asking if I needed assistance. I am always impressed with people at that level of the business and their interest in customer satisfaction. On the other hand, I waited for over half an hour in line at the pickup desk trying to obtain merchandise for a customer. My time IS money. There were four people working in this area at the time and the backlog was just ridiculous. Someone needs to institute some kind of a triage plan. (STOP THE BLEEDING 1st)! Institute a CRASH CART responce team of bodies within the store that can be allocated where theyre needed most. Dont see that happening here. Intentions are honorable. Delivery is critical!!
So this Lowes is nice clean and well laid out. I only give it 3 stars because in the 3 times since January Ive gone here the staff are like ghosts. Look I dont like anyone following me around asking if I need help. But this place you could litteraly watch them walk fast to hide. I was able to hunt down a gentleman there for my needs. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. I asked why it was so hard to find help. He simply said kids. I think hes right. The times Ive needed help it was always the older people that helped. The kids would appear to actively hide.
I love Lowes. Its clean and the people are always friendly. I especially like the way they are always ready to help someone. Prices are negotiable no matter where you go. But great customer service is not. Lowes is one of the few places left anymore with great customer service!
Best deal last week here on new Drill. I searched everywhere and can tell you that here they had the best price. Not online and not Home Depot, Lowes is the place. I love to come here just to walk around, if you are a handyman you probably know what I am talking about.
If I could leave 0 stars, I would. We purchased a vinyl plank flooring project in May, and from the very start, there was miscommunication across the board. The service pros company that they go through is a joke as well. Lowe’s never told us we’d have to pick up the flooring and supplies from the store, so didn’t offer a delivery option. Service pros calls us in June to schedule our project, and they tell us that they won’t schedule it until we can verify that we have the materials at our house. Okay, we get the materials, call service pros back and they schedule us for the end of July with an arrival time of 8-11. July 30th gets here, no one calls or shows up. At 11:15, service pros calls me to confirm that the contractor is at our house. They weren’t, so they tell me they have to call me back. An hour later they call me to tell me the contractor was unavailable to work that day. Meanwhile, our bathroom is tore up waiting for these guys to get here. We get a new reschedule date of August 16th. They didn’t care one bit that the reschedule date was 3 weeks out and our bathroom was unusable in its present state. August 16th comes around, the contractor actually shows up this time only to tell us he can’t do it because the old floors were never ripped up. Which circles us back around to the original issue. Lowe’s never told us that wasn’t included and there was an additional charge for tearing up and hauling it away. I told them id be willing to pay for the charge, to which they respond with “service pros won’t do that because there’s concern for asbestos.” The concern came from the contractor who walked in for 1 second and said he wouldn’t do it. I went back to Lowe’s and got a refund, they had nothing to say for themselves. Bottom line, Lowe’s sucks for this type of job. Don’t waste your time or energy on this. We ended up with a 3 month headache and no new floors.
Im giving this a 3 star because I do a lot of shopping there. There are times when I can not find anybody to help me because there said theres nobody in the department. 1 time I needed help loading a door into my vehicle and there was nobody to help me. I waited over a 1/2 hour nobody csme to help me even tho I kept asking. I ended up struggling to do it myself. Seeing Im elderly it was very difficult for me.
God I hate shopping here, sometimes I have no option, but everytime I do, I have an issue with a special order item or cant get in store help, Ive waited an hour before to buy some expensive closet shelving units and extra (the setup we picked out was 500-600 a closet times 3 closets) and nobody showed up to aisle to get the units down from top rack despite 2 efforts. I walked out and you lost out on over 1500 that night alone. Also had ordered special shower surround and tub from them and after 8 weeks it finally came in damaged. I not only returned those items but everything else I purchased for the bathroom. That was another 2k. Geez I wonder how many other people do the same thing because of the poor customer service? Something tells me 10 years from now they wont be a thing nationally anymore.
Was searching for an item that the online site said was in stock.... it was unfortunately not. Since my phone was dying I bought a Dewalt PowerBank with cable and when I opened the package the powerbank was flat dead.... not even a little bit to allow me to charge my phone a couple of percent to help me find the product I originally came in for.
They are great for most hardware and tools but prices are a bit high. I would check home depot first if you are on a budget. They dont carry some products like mail slot covers. They dont have a large selection of in store carpets so you have to order them. The store is clean and staff are nice. Although its hard to find anyone to help you.
Everytime i go into lowes for a item that was a special order to pick up I always wait a hour for them to get it and they always tell me that its not in yet when someone in the store has already called that morning to say it arrived and is ready for pick up. Terrible customer service i would give it a 0
Wanted to buy paint, but as always no one was in the department. Had to ask at check out to locate someone.Wanted to buy a white floating shelf. Went on line. Simple plain shelf would be available in 2 weeks!Got on line with Home Depot, $29 ordered it, paid for it and it was ready for pick up in 15 minutes. Need I say more?
This plaza contains a Lowes home improvement hardware and building supply store which is great for do it yourself projects. I have been there many times and bought all types of items to spruce up my lawn and improve the look of my house. This plaza also has a AAA office which i used to book many travel trips with great and experienced travel agents.I also visited Ollies bargain outlet and purchased discounted items for my home. Prices are reduced by up to 50%. Great variety of items from food to small appliances.
This May be a Mixed Message.Lowe’s is a Good Hareware Store, But Not a Great One, and I’ve Been in Many. I Go to Any Lowe’s Out of Convenience, NOT as the Go to Store.Hard to Find Help @ Any Lowe’s Not just This one. This one is Just Fine Compared to Most Lowe’s Stores. I Like 3 Departments in Lowe’s, as a Whole, But Prefer Other Hardware Stores.
The employees at Lowes are rude and treat you like you are an inconvenience. I spend upwards of six figures a year on materials and I cringe any time I have to think of going into a Lowes instead. I recommend finding your nearest Home Depot and shopping there instead. You will be treated better and have a more pleasurable experience... Not to mention probably spend less money. Sorry Lowes - my review is just based off of my multiple first-hand experiences.
I love shopping at my local Lowes. They actually know me by name ( maybe Im int here too often :) Staff is always willing to go the extra mile and are extremely helpful. I cant say enough about Rhym (Dept. supervisor) hes willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty and provide outstanding customer service is the reason why I give Lowes my business. I hope the company recognizes what an asset they have in him.
I needed some home supplies for a couple projects Im working on. I was able to locate and purchase most of what I needed but I wish I didnt always have to bag my own items myself. Im injured, use a can to get around so this isnt always easy. I understand it may be or may seem easier to the employee but for me the customer a bag would help me carry my items.
I looked on Lowes website before going to the store all I wanted to get was two metal post and some plastic chain I had the locations I asked several employees and none of them knew where the product or the locations were until. I did find one employee who took the time found the location and help getting someone to cut the chain. Recently I signed up for the veterans military discount I was verified and approved but when I got in line they had no record of my account so I ended up paying full price. When I got home I went on lowes website put some items in my cart and my military discount shows up. It would have been nice to get the discount at the store but I guess Im out that money
I come here often and the only issue is that their evening crew is extremely short staffed. You may have to wait a bit if you need help in specific departments. At times, there is no one working some departments which is kind of annoying. During the day, they are well staffed and I have no issues. Customer Service desk is extremely helpful every day all day.
Steps and Strides above thier competitors down the road by a Mile! Customer service was offered and appreciated after a relentless visit to the competition. Prices were sadly more for the same products offered at said competitor with no price match to boot. But a Win in my book as we will be back.
You can never find an employee when you need assistant. I rarely shop at Lowes but every time I do, Im reminded why I am shop there so little. Unlike one of their major competitors they lack customer service. The employees barely greet you and God forbid you need help you will have to search the store front to back to find employee assistance. This typically results and you spending much more time then you want in this store. I try to avoid it as much as possible.
Ollies has some decent items for good prices randomly. Lowes, well....average chain hardware store, but I never really feel like im talking,to someone with experience actually using the materials or tools. Carts are always hard to find and most of the employees seem disgruntled.
Convenient plaza with a wide array of stores. I have been to the Lowes here a couple times, Ive been to a hair dresser here and I mostly go for the PetSmart. Its a good PetSmart with good selection if sightly high prices and the grooming team is incredibly skilled and very kind.
Went looking for a bathroom vanity and flooring and not one person asked if I needed help, which I did. So bought what needed at home Depot. This week we found a light we wanted to buy but was on top shelf. We looked and looked for some one to help us. I found 3 men talking in paint and asked for help in lighting. My son-in-law found a girl with a ladder cart that got the light for us. As we were leaving the aisle one of the men appeared. Makes one not want to shop at Lowes.
Great place if you know what you want. As many times as Ive been to that store in the past few months (a few times a month), I can say some departments need better staff. Not saying theyre all a problem but the few I have interacted with in a couple of departments didnt seem to be all that knowledgeable about the department they were working in, not the material in question. And most times there is a single register open, will a line of people waiting to check out.
Poor customer service and misplaced items. Their website stated they had 13 boxes of the item I was looking for and gave me an aisle location. When I went to the store, there was only one box on the shelf and it was already opened! When I asked an employee for help, he first said if they have them, they would be on the shelf. When I explained the website showed 13 in stock, he scanned it and confirmed 13, but refused to check for them, saying, Looks like the systems wrong. Ill just stick with going to Home Depot.
This is a nice store go visit when you need anything for your next project. Theres something in this store that I repeatedly see in Home Depot in the Rochester area, not enough stores associated available when you need help. I visited other Lowes stores in North of Florida, and they have the best customer service experience in my opinion, I wish this was the same in our Rochester stores.
Ordered a washer and dryer online it was set for a Pacific day and time to be dropped off. I had to take off school to make sure that I would be here for when it came. Only to find out that I could have stayed in school because it never came I ended up calling the store the manager who is on call explain to me that the truck driver was just called and he is on his way mind you the store is only 15 minutes down the road from my house so 2 hours later when the washer and dryer still has not been dropped off I call back only this time the manager cannot get ahold of his truck driver. After staying on the phone for 30 minutes I then decided to go down to the store surprise surprise within 30 minutes of me being at the Lowes store the truck pulls up to my house and my roommate lets them into setup. Im rating 3 because when I did go into the store and spoke with the manager she did her best to accommodate me. And I appreciate that thank you
This is the place to go for anything you need for your home. You will find, wood, doors and appliances. They have basically every tool you will ever need. You have the option between cheap tools and expensive tools. A lot of times you can find display items for sale that you can purchase for cheaper (washer and dryers or dehumidifiers for example) sometimes youll find an employee that is not knowledgeable but thats expected. Not everybody is going to understand construction. you will find however most employees are knowledgeable and quick and willing to help you to the best of their ability. Also if you grab their credit card to get 5% off all your purchases!
Still a good place to go for things you need for the weekend project. But the wait at customer service for online orders can be excruciatingly long. Better off to go into the store and get them yourself. Also this store has become dirty and dusty compared to others such as the Lowes in Brockport or even Home Depot in Greece.
My husband and I always have enjoyed going to Lowes. But the major downfall is that whenever we needed help... Theres NO ONE in site. You have to walk to the front of the store and if were alllllll the wayyyyyyy in the back.... Thats a major inconvenience especially because my husband and I are fully disabled!! Please work on this!

2022-06-18I like Lowes the best BUT, I had a flooring project that I bought ahead for. I was finally able to get it done 2 days ago and I had 1 case left over. They wouldnt let me return it because it was over 90 days. Ill think twice about buying for a large project there again.

2021-08-0431 Aug 21, Ive always enjoyed shopping at Ollies and today was no different. With a wide variety of merchandise you could spend half the day in the store and not see it all. Although I do have to say the store could of been a little neater.

2022-05-25When it comes to inventory Lowes is no different than anyone else in Home Improvement. A lot of products have low or no inventory on a regular basis. All that said everyone else is in the same boat. If you need help getting someone at Lowes is easier than Home Depot. White both franchises offers a military discount service goes to Lowes. The other day in Lowes they were out of bags at checkout. So shortages are hitting everyone.

2022-02-18Went for a specific item, toilet plunger and a hand clamp tool for popping dents out of my car. They had the plunger but no clamp. Went to home depot and got what I needed. Lowes is good when home depot lacks what I need and vice versa. Lowes does military discounts and has dedicated veteran parking.
