Bowling meets club atmosphere. Was here for a party with a large group. Mostly went great but little details were off... For example, wait staff carried away drinks that werent finished... We also had a technical problem, took them about 10 minutes to get our lane up and running and they said they would add time back but never did, we didnt feel like arguing / raising the issue at the end but it would have been the right thing to do...
I had a ball the last time I came here! I went in the evening for a party event. As soon as you walk in the atmosphere is a chill feeling with the dark lights and amazing music by Dj Shu. This Dj was great because he played all types of music for all crowds and dedicated moments to each music type. The bartenders were friendly (drinks are strong) & the staff overall was cool. We bowled for couple hours and played pool.
We had an intern event here and it was pretty fun. Our group was about 40 people and they were able to accommodate us. We had access to the billiard table as well as the lanes. The food/apps were fine and the staff was relatively friendly but not overly attentive. Id consider coming back here for another event but it was a little pricey in my mind to come back on my own.
My students and I really enjoyed this place. They were approximately twenty students and five staff. Despite the large group of clients, the service was very professional and effective. Their entertainment facilities are first class. They have a great variety of games, such as ping pong table, billiards, bowling and others. As for the food, even though the service was fast, the pizzas we ordered were not the best. However, I totally recommend this place for great group of people.
Our company rented out several lanes for a celebration. They cordoned off the area with giant curtains which really made it feel like a private space. That was great. We got lots of apps, which were all quite tasty. Not too wide of a selection of beer. The lanes we were on didnt have a wide selection of ball sizes either. But everybody was able to make due with something. They didnt require you to use their shoes as long as yours were like tennis shoes with rubber soles.
Went here for a corporate event and it was quite enjoyable! The food was surprisingly good for a bowling alley, and they were able to pull curtains to partition off seating areas for your party.Large facility with some other things like pool and ping pong available if youre tired of bowling. The staff was friendly and service was plentiful, which is great for large groups.I give them 8/10!
Went to Lucky Strike yesterday. The place itself is pretty nice, but the management is awful. Especially Melton. He is in charge for organizational part of the process in the evenings and doesnt do his job properly. It seem that he is asking for money to be given to him (I saw other people were giving him cash upon check in). As a result we were waiting to play bowling for 2 hours. But moreover we were notified that all he allows us to play is only 1 hour...for some reason. As a generosity he let us extend to another 15 minutes and then our lane was shut. He claimed that there is a lot of people waiting. When we were leaving nobody played on our lane and another 5(!) lanes next to us were empty for more than 40 minutes. He still didnt let us to extend. This message is more for higher management. I hope this place become more organized because it has a lot of potential.
I would not recommend having a party here. I pitched the kingpin package and this place was very unorganized and filthy. When we arrived there were people playing at the lanes we had booked for another 30min so we had to sit around and wait with not one employee letting us know what’s going on. A manager came out when we arrived at 6 and said we would be at lanes 5 & 6 no one walked us or showed us over to our lanes. They knew there were people there but did not care and didn’t apologize we would have to wait 30 min.I also paid and booked for a pool and ping pong table. Yet the they did not have them set up for the party or tagged reserved so the entire night there were other people playing on the tables and we did not get to use them during the party. They called last call on you 30min prior to your party ending. I had to ask the waitress to please come back again because we did get seated late. She did say yes no problem and she was in fact a wonderful waitress and tried her best to bring drinks and food out as soon as possible. The bathroom had no toilet paper the entire night although my guest asked multiple times if they could put toilet paper in the bathroom. We had to get napkins the entire night. Before our party was over they sent other people to play out our lanes were we were still sitting and finishing up food. No one came back to clean up the tables or help and the people were mad as if it was our fault. We explained we were seated late and they should go discuss switching lanes. Which they had to do. But again not one staff came to assist the next party or find out what’s going on. Very unorganized no management and very dirty. No refund on the ping pong tables not even a free drink offered while we wait for the inconvenience. No mangers in site and no party coordinator or staff to assist. Huge mess. Nice to just show up and bowl a game or two and leave. DO NOT pay for a party here or at least night the top package it is really not worth it. There were more issues but then this review would be too long. Our waitress gets 5 stars.
Great time, organized an outing with around 30. Contacted reservations to get packages and pricing. (Several different proce points) and very accommodating. Excellent atmosphere, the whole gathering thoroughly enjoyed themselves.Service was acceptable, one improvement point is food, it was pub sort, but no one really had a positive take. All in all, recommended.
Nice ambiance, upscale setting and decent music. My date and I had a long wait due to a technical error with another customer so that was a negative. I was surprised that the place was busy on a Wednesday. Service was good. The menu is limited but I found the shrimp cups to be a really delicious, meatless option.
I love this place and I go on the regular, even take my son who loves all he variety of games from bowling, table tennis too arcade style shooting games! Oh most importantly the bowling amazing great space and atmosphere!Spend a few hours there easy!! (Great for all ages) kids before 7pm!
Fabulous! They treated me like a king. Very energetic, good atmosphere, but a little young if you are older go somewhere else or bring your own party. Overall I liked it. I would go again. Be prepared to spend some real money. I mean really spend. If you have it go for it.
I organized a birthday party for a friend of mine. They offered us $23 all you can bowl, ping pong, and billiards that also included the shoes. I thought it was too good to be true. Other places were charging about $50 or more for the similar deal that did not include ping pong and billiards. I got there early just to be sure because I had 12 people coming. I was greeted by 2 friendly employees that confirmed $23 special. They told me they just wanted us to have a great time. That was their goal. We also took advantage of half price beers and appetizers after 9pm. I dont remember ever paying $3 for a beer in NYC and less than $5 per appetizer. The lanes are state-of-the-art, great music, and terrific atmosphere. We all had a great time and highly recommend it.
Really great place. The food is surprisingly good. I take the ferry over from NJ often and its always worth the trip. I have also hosted a party with an open bar package in the past and I was worried the drink service would be slow. That couldnt be further from true, the waitress was dropping drinks and putting the next round in immediately. I thought it was a great value.
Great service, all be it a little slow, Im assuming because it was a Monday night and was only 1 waitress on for the bowling alley area, she was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! She handled more customers then she should have been able to extremely well and was so courteous and accommodating to my party of 6! I own and manage a bar in the east village and hope they know what an asset she is to their place!
Good food, good prices. Was at the convention center and we needed a nearby place to eat and use facilities. Food was quite tasty and reasonably priced. Our party had the pizza, a burger, and wings. No complaints from anyone in our group. Place was very well kept and clean. Would recommend as a place to eat if you are near the convention center looking for food.
Nice place - if youre already at least half deaf. The lanes are nicely kept, the staff are friendly and helpful, there are billiards and ping pong for those not bowling, the attached cocktail bar is nice, the atmosphere is trendy but relaxed. The one thing is that as soon as you step in the door, youre blasted with a wall of sound. A pair of 30db earmuffs (intended for people operating heavy machinery or going to a gun range) brought the volume down from overwhelming to merely moderately painful. Dont expect to be able to talk to anyone more than 6 inches away. Im pretty sure employees are going to suffer permanent hearing damage.
Enjoyed it here - we had a reservation for two hours and a bunch of food. They brought the food to our lane with plenty of plates and various carafes of water, sodas, etc. They checked on us often to take empty dishes, bring more silverware, etc. The bar section was food to hangout and wait for your party to get there. Getting set up on the lane had a few challenges but nothing overwhelming. A few quick notes: cocktails are pricy but weak, they charge you almost $5 for a pair of socks if you forgot yours, solid playlist happening.
Lots of fun things to do. I was there for a private event. The food system was terrible though, because they attempted to make it buffet style, however it was hard to get any food at all. They seemed to overlook people at the pool tables.I suppose the drink prices are simply the result of being in the city, but it was over $100 for a couple drinks (3 mixed drinks and 7 beers, divided by the group). It meant $7 per beer, which is outrageous compared to anywhere else. Still, a fun time.
Lucky Strike, is a good place to hang out after work.Girls / ladies out . they have all kind of good and beer plus mix drinks...make sure you go there when ANDRE the Bar Attendant is the...he is a cool guy and fun at the Bar.They have sport activities , balling and pool table game if you into it...The bathrooms are clean...and nice Staff
It was nice, but i didnt know there was a dress code so my boyfriend and i were sent away because he had his black adida pants on. We spoke to them were aloud in seeing how it was our first time and didnt know. it was a nice place, and the fact that they had a gluten free food and drink options made the experience that much more fun.
Atmosphere/layout: bar area (five televisions and music over the speakers) with long high tables in the middle and dart boards with two-seat tables; bar offers ten bottled beers, three canned beers, eight tapes, basic liquor options and a long tube of beer for larger groups; food menu available; overall geared more for large groups especially families with younger childrenStaff: Very friendly and helpfulTwenty bowling lanes plus pool and ping pong tables; rent lanes by the hour or by game; shoe rental available (OK to bowl with sneakers)
Cool for a bowling alley. They charge by the hour for the lane instead of by the game which would be fine but the ball return wasnt working very well and 2x within our hour no balls came back to rack and we had to stop, find an attendant and wait for him to go back behind the pins and fix the problem. Also food was very average. Very expensive for and average/below avg bowling alley. Paying for the midtown Manhattan location & party scene.
Good place for upscale bowling! This place makes bowling fun as it has dark lighting and nice lounge seats that keep you there longer. Projectors screens above the bowling lanes play music videos and the waiters come around for drink order for your entertainment. I also love the fun animations that are displayed when you hit a strike! Even if you come with people who are not into bowling, they will love the place. Theres also a number of pool tables that you can use and a bar on the other side of the wall to hang out at after bowling or instead.
Went on a Sunday early evening around 5:30 pm after buying a Gilt City deal that included bowling, shoe rentals, some food and beer. It was an okay deal, didnt end up saving too much but it was a nice incentive to get a group together. The space was more crowded than I anticipated for a Sunday, but by the time we left at around 8:00 pm, it had cleared out quite a bit.We ended up ordering a lot of extra food. Skip the nachos, every else - wings, flatbread, fries, mac and cheese - was pretty good and easy to share. The sangria was very sweet. They have a decent selection of beers, we ordered one of those beer towers which was a fun novelty thing to show off. The only downside is that this location is really far west and inconvenient, so you really have to plan your day around this.
It was ok but our guns didnt work for about 15 minutes and we werent offered a different place to sit. They only comped us five minutes on top of the time that was already paid for. To make matters worse I wanted wings and fries. They only offered wings and waffles and the bartender didnt ask the cool if we could substitute them for an upcharge. She flat out said no. Not something they can do. Never heard of that in my life. Plus I think the bartender was ready to go. I dont blame her. Poor girl.
Great for fun gatherings but the veggie burger was NOT made with love... my friends had regular burgers and they werent thrilled either... we gave up after the kitchen tried a 2nd time to get it right and ate bc we were super hungry... Ill probably go back again but more for the fun activities but not the food...
I came here with about 6 friends to hang out for an afternoon a couple months ago and it was awful. It would take them at least 30 minutes to bring out a round of drinks each time we ordered. Our lane also broke down multiple times so we had to go to the front desk to resolve the issue. Two time consuming problems which is insanely frustrating when you’re paying for overpriced bowling by the hour.If you’re thinking of going here, just call an Uber and head to Chelsea piers.
Went for a work function. This place is ok, staff are friendly, bowling alleys are ok but a lot of the other activities arent well maintained, including the pool tables, table tennis, and shuffle board tables. If youre just here for bowling then its not a big deal. Huge space, feels a bit like a nightclub inside.
Really expensive and the bowling wont even last for a full hour but only 55 mins and it will also end before you can finish the last gameThat whole thing cost 75$ and no one even passed by to get us drinks or ask us for it, worst bowling experience ever! You guys should improve the service and the guys at the counter take a long time and dont seem to know how to do their job...
This place can be a hit or miss depending on the night you go. Pretty live place, good for larger groups. Hella pricy for no good reason, service is mediocre at best. It all depends on the energy you and your group brings because its not a great place to interact with other people even by the bar area. Closes pretty early so a good pre-game spot if anything. Overall the place itself is really nice and spacious which is what they sell you on. I would not make this my first choice for a bowling spot if you are looking to bowl.
Went here with some buddies to view a UFC fight on the big screens. The place was loud and the crowd was quite lively. The bowling was an aside that turned out to be fun even though we are not bowlers. Thanks to our long night we sampled most items on the Late Nite menu and were surprisingly satisfied with the bar fare. Im looking forward to my next visit.

2017-10-05I was not there for bowling, it’s was New year bash.. .It was new year 17 party and they had booked the whole place. After entering, I thought who book this kinda place but later on, I realized they are out of space. The bartender was amazing he was trying his best to keep all patrons happy. they had one big room where Dj was playing with his tunes. The dance floor was quite small considering no of folks out there. Many of us dancing out near the bowling alley.A good place to have a party.

2019-11-16Amazing space. Drinks are well made, music was everything, and the bar staff was friendly! Went on a Wednesday, wasnt too crowded but it was still a vibe. I received a veggie burger instead of the bacon-loaded one that I ordered (which I hadnt even noticed right away) but the worker came after a few minutes and exchanged it. Would return :)

2019-01-23Its located in a far away land... The Weeest Side Highway. No trains run there, the bus takes a while and walking through the crowds is like a game of frogger. But once there, Fun times. Staff is friendly. Drinks are good. Music is pumping. And the competition gets heated. Good luck

2019-10-09I love how they had 1930’s Turner’s movies playing during the day. It gave an old timey NYC feeling. I do feel like the ping pong table and pool should some how be packaged with the bowling games I stead of having to pay separately. We enjoyed killing some time after the Circle Line cruise, which is conveniently walking distance.

2018-04-03Very clean and neat establishment. This is a great bowling place for groups, not really a couple. The couches give it a lounge feel and their service was great. From 42nd train station its a good 15-20 min walk.

2019-03-14This place is a good time, especially for groups. It has the vibe and music of a club. Waiters come to your table for drinks and food. DJ was playing hip-hop while I was there. Other than the bowling section, theres also a small arcade section and pool tables. Lots of TVs that were playing a few different games. A little more expensive than a normal bowling alley, but its worth the extra money.

2019-11-05Large bowling alley with plenty of extras for those who do not bowl. There are multiple pool and ping pong tables. There is also a large bar area.Went there for an office party. Party separated by other bowlers with heavy drapes. Added a nice touch to event.Apps and dinner were great. The cheeseburger sliders were awesome.Wait staff was very attentive between alley setup, drinks and food.

2017-10-01Food exceeded the expectations for a bowling alley, and the atmosphere was thrilling. However, I must say service was slow although it wasn’t very busy. Would come back!

2019-11-11This place is so far off the path. And cold af since its close to the water around this time. Bowling was typical. Nothing special. The food was lack luster. I felt the wine pours were a little on the light side. All in all the staff was friendly and attentive but it was nothing special. The food couldve been so much better. Super dry and crunchy chicken bites, pizza that could barely rival frozen and a caesar salad that was paired with ranch or some other weird dressing. Meh!

2017-12-07The weekend dress code is pretty strict, so Id check it out before heading out. Other than that weekends are pretty lit, theres a DJ and a lounge area but bowling prices can be expensive. They always seem to have super cheap weeknight specials (like Sun-Wed) so Id check those out if youre on a budget. The staff is awesome; go here.
