This is a popular burger spot in Hells Kitchen. They have a large variety of burgers and even some non meat (plant based) burgers. The fried and onion rings are pretty standard.Open daily and late often this place receives a lot of late night snackers. The staff is pleasant and delivery is efficient. Its an affordable dining option in a pricey neighborhood for food. If you want a quick bite, check this place out.
I bought my Buffalo burger and coffee shake and went to Madison garden square. As you may know , no outside drink and food allowed in the Madison square. Therefore, I was forced to drink it up in a minute and throw the USD 9 burger away.Really upset. Will be there some other time.
If you are a foodie, you will love this place. Fresh Turkey and beef burgers. Juicy and soo filling. Add any cheese you like with multiple toppings and your are in Burger Heaven. Add a side of fries (you can add cheese to these also) and dip them in the original lucky sauce......YUMMY
I used buy my burgers from Lucky Burgers until I kept seeing the lady at the cash register( long black hair with black frame eye glasses) often standing outside on the side walk having a smoke then going inside to serve and handle food, thats a health hazard especially when we have a virus thats spreading like w wild fire. Now I order my burgers from burger king, because they are better supervised by their managers who understand how its important not to show customers any disgusting behavior.
The recent closing of Steak and Shake in Campbell got me thinking about my favorite burger. My God. I dont want to live in a world without Luckys Famous BurgersWhen I want a burger I want it cooked to order over an open fire and I dont want to go through the rigamarole of explaining what fixings I want. Just give me my burger and let me walk over to the condiment bar so I can top my burger however I please. This, my friends, is the Luckys Famous Burgers experience. To know it, is to love it.
We brought a small group of kids’ to Lucky’s on 23rd, for my son’s birthday. It was such a fantastic experience. The manager went out of his way to make it an amazing experience. He was so accommodating and attentive. The food and shakes were delicious! Best burger experience around!
Overall, a good burger joint. The burger holds its own against shake shack and five guys. The meat seems to be a little lesser quality than shake shack, but the burger as a whole was good. Fries were hot and crispy and the wait wasnt bad at all. If youre in it for a quick bite without breaking the bank, its a solid place. Theres a ton of other stuff on the menu too.
Red flag!! Dishonest business! Again this is not the first time, they will add tips themselves on to ur bill!! Be aware to get a receipt and check with your bank with this restaurant! They will add like 20 to 30 % more on your bill and tell you it was just a mistake. Luckily I’m not the only one got this issue and the bank refunded me right away! Such a dishonest business. Will never go bank again!!!
One of my favorite burger joints. Any burger you choose is great! The fries are very good as well. Pretty much everything on the menu is good. Even the drink options are great. The customer service is excellent and consistent. They open late which is great after partying on the weekends.
Tell them how you want your burger [or non beef-burger options, too] and it should be done, perfectly & tasty!!! Also, the Impossible Burger [Vegetarian but quite burger-like incl. being created to look like a juicy Pink burger is really good too] it should be cooked/done medium-rare to be juicy & my friends was! Also get the Cajun seasoned cheese fries, a great combo, and either their long-time fave, Chocolate Chip Cookie Shake or it seems like next time I must try the Fantastic sounding Luckys Lucky Charms Shake!
It’s a very good place to get a burger and milkshake but the restaurants are always a bit small. It can be defined as a hole in the wall. The prices are pretty fair and the food is very good. Wouldn’t recommend sitting to eat if you are with a big group. They have many food options and can make personal changes to orders.
Good food, and patties really thick on burgers. However, the music they played was way too loud to make a good meal even better. But otherwise very good food at slightly higher than average prices for a burger joint. 2 combos, with extra patty and bacon on 1 of the burgers, $35.
Solid burger. Asked for the LES, but then changed my mind to the Smokin Ace, cashier still served me the LES. Bummer I wanted to try the Cajun hot fries taste with grilled onions...next time! Luckys u have piqued my interest. Coming back soon with reinforcements. Maybe next time Ill be a bit more Lucky 😂 with my order
When I ordered the restaurant was empty. It took them 20 min to cook my burger and they served it with cold fries. Burger quality and size were similar to Shake Shack but my whole meal of a specialty burger, fries and shake cost $18. So Id recommend you pass on this one.
The food is pretty good. Im a fan of the chicken, but enjoy the burgers as well. Staff isnt particularly friendly.UPDATE: Ive been their several times since. Staff is actually very nice. I guess because I always go so late, they are tired and I misinterpreted it as them not being friendly.UPDATE 2: recently had their turkey burger for the first time and it is SLAMMING!
Ive been wanting to come here for awhile. I was happy that there was a location down the street from the post office. I will say there is good and bad things about Luckys:The pros: their sauces are great ( Chiptole Mayo and their Lucky sauce) is very tasty. I love their Turkey Burger- well seasoned and juicy. With the sauces, its straight perfection. However, the fries are not the best-- some were soft and great while the other end of the fries were- hard and difficult to chew. :(The music is great- very upbeat. However, there is limited seating, therefore, when it gets busy-you feel closed in and claustophobic. All in all, I would come back again but would not eat in nor take the fries.
When a meat craving hits, few foods are more satisfying than a juicy burger — especially when someone else cooks it (LOL).Sure, there are plenty of great burger spots in midtown, but if you really want to treat yourself, try Luckys Famous Burger on W 52nd that is one of my go to when I’m looking for a delicious burger.Good service, their prices are quite reasonable and they also offer free delivery! Nothing fancy here; just a good street side burger shop.Burger patty has a little peppery flavor to it that spices it and makes it pretty delicious. They also cater to vegetarians! Veggie burgers are on the menu as well as a nice assortment of salads and what not.Don’t take my word for it go try yourself =]
Luckys burgers are very good and so is the value. My favorite is the Chelsea burger. Love the cheese fries. They also have good salads if you are looking for something healthier. Everything is made to order so if you go in planning to pickup and are in a hurry call ahead of time.
Love this place -- usually after several drinks and dancing and late at night to carry home. Always get the buffalo burger, and fries. Somehow their fries are a cut above the rest -- crunchy and tasty. And they let you add an egg to your burger -- wish there were fewer calories, because Id visit more often
Little expensive for what you get. Good music inside with seating and tables like an old time pizzeria. Cant complain about the quality, burger toppings like lettuce tomato and pickles are fresh. Dont come if youre not looking g for a food coma. Chili cheese dog and chili cheese fries are excellent. For deliveries to McCoys, please dont wrap up hot dogs because it destroys the toppings and is a total mess.
The burgers here are okay. Despite not being too tasty, I do appreciate the vegetarian-friendly patty that is available. I tend to stumble into this place after leaving a club or a bar, as theyre open until late and the prices are reasonable. I do enjoy the limitless options of topping that are available to equip your burger and the sweet potatoes fries are always yummy!
We Love Luckys!!!! My kids wont eat shake shack since weve found Luckys! Been going to this one for years (52nd st.) Kids Love their Fries (cheese on side for dipping for them😊) and Great Shakes! Vegetarian Yummies cant be beat and the staff is so Friendly! Also PLENTY of options for our Carnivorous Friends!!!!! Thanks Guys For All You Do! ❤
While everyone is wasting their time waiting in line for Shake Shack, Luckys has been my secret local burger joint for over 10 years! Way more options plus they offer Boylans cane sugar fountain sodas. Originally 23rd Street was my spot as it offered more room and friendlier service, but I started coming to 52nd Street after the management moved from 23rd Street a couple/few years ago and has been better since. ❤😉🍔⭐
Good burger spot. I like their burgers, though for the price they could give you a bit more. $2.50 extra for bacon is a bit absurd. Also, while I agree that their customer service is very friendly, the music is often on so loud in there that you have to shout your order or repeat it multiple times which makes the customer seem rude when theyre not. Aside from those things give them a try.
First time in NY,obviously excited to try some good food; The name doesnt describe their food. The fries were all cold, the veggie burger didnt even seem cooked( cold also) & the cheesy hotdogs was a gross blob! This was very bad to say the least- disappointing!! I will say the delivery time was good!
Overall, had a great meal and would go there again! I decided to getthe chicken sandwich combo (so I havent tried the burgers there yet). It was a nice grilled piece of chicken (a little on the thin side though) with fresh tomatos and iceburg lettuce. They were closing in like 20 minutes, but still had great service. Im back at the apartment and Im honestly craving another sandwich from them.
Sometimes a cheeseburger combo and a couple lil cups of lucky/chipotle sauce to dip until youre satisfied is all you need after a long day. Its best to eat it in store since the burgers and fries get a little soggy from delivery. The other menu items are pretty good too, but I always seem to go back to my same order.
Love the burgers here. Open late at night too. If you cant find a seat at the totto ramen shop next door and are starving head here! Great flavorful burgers cooked perfectly with good ingredients. Love the original with some lucky sauce. go for it with a side of wrinkly fries.
The food is ok, but I find it to just be satisfactory for the price. The good is really expensive, and if you plan to get a whole lunch or dinner set, be prepared to pay a pretty penny. In my opinion, unless you need a Lucky’s Burger fix, there are much better options for the money in the same area.
Probably my favorite fast food burger place in NYC. There are beef, turkey, and veggie burgers along with chicken, hot dogs, and the new breed of plant-based burgers (I say go for the Impossible Burger over the Beyond Burger). Dont miss the crispy crinkle-cut fries with *lucky sauce.*
The burger was good, although a tad dry for my taste. The wavy fries were really good, especially with the chipotle mayo they have here. The fountain drinks tasted of chlorine (but thats perhaps because Im spoiled with very good tap water from Sweden) and the lighting was a weird yellow tint that made the place feel a bit sketchy.
Ordered from here on Grubhub and got the food way faster than I thought I would. I was also surprised that the fries werent all soggy like they usually are when you order delivery but they dont use Styrofoam so the food tasted great. Will be ordering from here again for sure.
Cant really complain about luckys. They do one thing and they do it well: burgers. If youre looking for a lot of extras or sides, you wont find it here. You get standard veggies, maybe avocado and some fries. But lets face it, thats really all you need when you want a mouthwatering juicy beef patty on a bun. Luckys offers great burgers at reasonable prices. Try it.
I went to this store on 2/8/19 I purchased a number #1 combo, with taxes it came out to $13.61 it was about 11:52am, on 2/9/19 at about 5am, I received the same charge again even though I hadnt even gone into the store or ordered. In 2/9/19 I called the store and no manager was available, I went to their website to contact us and I told them about my card afraid and as of today 2/12/19 I have not heard anything from them, I will never go to that store again, if you go, pay cash or you may have added charges or will be a victim of identity theft.
This place was busy, busy, busy! However, they knocked out our large order fairly quickly and got everything correct. Yes, its a little pricey however it was very convenient to our hotel, which was a short walk around the corner. All in all, I would highly recommend it.

2021-11-28Highly recommend, Luckys Famous Burger! The food, and service are amazing. Love the fact that they serve Beyond meat plant based burgers, and Italian sausage. All of the food is prepared fresh, the onion rings are sinfully delicious.Wasnt sure what kind of bun to get, Andrew (staff) recommended the potato bun. Didnt think, I would like it, absolutely loved it!Love their fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, absolutely divine!I choose to dine in, make sure you bring your vaccine card, and ID to match. All NYC restaurants are required to check that you are vaccinated, and ID when allowing guests to dine in. Did not mind, wear my vaccine card, laminated, around my neck. The staff at the 52nd street location are absolutely amazing. Thank you to Andrew, and Karen for being absolutely awesome. Thank you for making sure every guest, has a wonderful dining experience. You both are true Rockstars! Xo

2021-11-28Pretty good impossible burger with a fried egg. The fries were better than the burger, though! It was ready for pickup on time.

2021-08-29Ask yourself this: do you feel lucky? Well, do ya? Punk... Amazing place! Amazing food! And coming from someone who unfortunately has been stuck south of the Mason-Dixon line for 25 years now, they WORE THEIR MASKS DURING THEIR ENTIRE SHIFT! Ill definitely be going back when I hopefully move there one day plus their food was awesome and plenty, to say the least!

2022-07-10Always a great choice made fresh quality burgers and even vegetarian options that I am told were delicious.Order directly on luckys company site to make sure you’re seeing full and updated menu. Uber eats and seamless did not have all the options. However lucky needs to fix the site so whichever sauces that are included can be chosen whether on the burger or on the side.
