They try to upsell you services and it’s very annoying and deters the customer from wanting to come back. When a customer comes in they usually know what they want there is no need to keep offering more and more services after they already said no. It’s disrespectful and it makes customer uncomfortable
Very clean and comfortable and quiet but the nail techs are too rough. This is the second time I’ve gotten a pedicure from them and left with my toes swollen, red, and sore to the touch. Not going back because of this— the services are way to expensive for me to leave hurting and hardly able to walk after.
I had my nails done here today. Typically I am very happy with their service. They do a great job and are always kind. Today the technician accidentally snipped my toe cuticle a little to short and it bled. I was asked to pay full price so I shared with the woman who I think owns or runs the place and she took 5 dollars off. I’m thankful for that, however the technician told me it way my fault because my cuticles are too long (hello, isn’t that why I went there) and to boot the dipped the nail polish, painted my bloody nail and then put the brush back in the bottle. With both the color and the clear polish. So unsanitary. I’m super disappointed. I loved this place, but how many times has this happened before and then I chose that color. Gross.
Sorry to say, I received one of the worst pedicures I ever had. The paint job was so bad that I immediately took it off and repainted when I got home. In the process I realized how the nail technician didn’t even cut my toenails right, the corners of the nails look terrible which is the main reason I went. Yikes... He also asked me a few too many times to upgrade my pedicure or pay extra for a longer massage (uncomfortable) and then demanded a cash tip when I was paying. Places do this so they don’t have to pay taxes on the tips... I didn’t have any cash on me bc I was not expecting this ridiculous request, so he said adding it to my card “was fine this time” and stood over me as I did it. The service definitely wasn’t worth the $23 plus the tip I felt pressured to pay. Unfortunately I will never be returning
I’m a contractor working in NYC for business and this is the closest nail salon to my hotel. I got SNS done 4/2/2021, tipped the lady $10 and the work was bad. The lady that worked on my nails had very shaky hands, she wasn’t interactive (which is understandable due to the language barriers), and my nail already cracked a day later-she really didn’t use much powder. I’d go back for them to fix but dont have much time as it is, so I have to deal with it until it’s time to have another set done.
If only they had the option to provide NO STARS/ZERO.I’m originally from the city, but moved out of state. I’m back in town often visiting with family. One of our usual traditions while visiting is having some girl time with my sister and going out for a couple of Mani-Pedi’s! We came across this new place. Everything was going really well. The place appeared to be sanitary and the staff was like most other establishments. Surprisingly expensive pedi selection, but no matter we make our selection. Mani time and but it’s time to pay prior to they really getting started. Not something I am accustomed to, but ok go ahead and pay. They gave 5 dollars off of the $57 dollar bill ($45 Pedicure and $12 Manicure). Mind you I got the least expensive options. Because I’m still unsure of the outcome of my service. I give a $7 tip, which all around is the most expensive mani-pedi I’ve had to date for the basics. A very quite pair became very chatty. I couldn’t understand what was being saying but the word tip was said, body language and facial expressions are easy to interpret. My sister and I looked at each other and thought, I guess they didn’t like my tip. My sister goes to pay, who got a $55 Pedi with the 12 mani. She hands them a $5 tip. And they lady started to talk to her friend and started laughing. Again we looked at each other with similar reactions. Neither woman said thank you. I moved to the drying station where she offered a massage and I kindly refused. They didn’t even help my sister move to the drying station. Didn’t offer her the standard massage and she moved on to other customers. I sat there and through what nerve, how rude and disrespectful. I couldn’t leave it at that. My sister and I are very well off professional women, but we don’t just give our money away. We wouldn’t be well off if we did. These woman didn’t deserve a dime. To prove a point on the way out I walked up to both woman who were back to work on two other customer. I slid a $20 to each of them. Bothe surprised, they both looked up and said “thank you”. I said “Don’t say thank you now, you were just laughing at us earlier, you were both very rude, but it’s ok you can have that”. Some would think I rewarded them, but no. They lost the business of two customers which would have amounted to hundreds over time. That twenty was my slap in the face to two very unprofessional people. You never know who you have sitting in front of you. Treat people with respect no matter what your perceptions are.
Not please. I went here three time since they opened because of the convenience of the location and the owner in very nice. I am fairly simple with my nail so I just get natural pink SNS. I just like my nails to look well manicured.First time the owner burnt my cuticle with the electric file, left with a bleeding finger, but accidents happen and my nails came out nice.Second time around, the techs switch, so the person that was suppose to do my nails didnt and my nails came out horrible and bulky looking. The owner agreed and told me to come back the next day and she would do them over again. Who has time for that???Third time, they were rushing because they were closing and didnt give my nails time to dry so she ended up repainting two more times. The NEXT day three nails cracked as I washed my dishes.Im done trying..

2021-12-05I have been here a few times, but today I got it done I told her regular nail polish and she put on gel to charge me extra. Beside that because the color is amazing and he edges looks terrible and the cuticles weren’t remove. I’m not happy and I won’t go back.

2021-09-14I had a very unsatisfactory and embarrassing experience at this place. I will not be going back or suggesting it. My girlfriends took me to this location for a self care day before the birth of my baby. They were treating me. We arrived around 3:30pm and closing is at 6pm. By the time my nail technician, Vicky, began my pedicure and manicure, she rushed through the process. She finished the pedicure in less than 10 minutes. She barely cut my cuticles or scrubbed the bottom of my feet. I had to ask for her to go back and cut the side of my nail, and even then, she didnt do it properly. While doing my manicure, I was on the phone briefly, and she asked me to pay my check of $38 before polishing my nails. I was attempting to hang up my call to pull up my Google pay app, because my girlfriends were still doing their nails and couldnt complete the payment as of yet. She raised her voice and said, It is $38! And you have to pay before I paint your nails. I responded that I heard her and understood. She became frustrated and said. Ok, just pay afterwards, because she thought I did not have any money. My friend expressed that they will be paying and my technician, Vicky, continued to speak under her breathe. Its as if she thought I was going to walk out without paying. I may look young, but Im 31 and I am also pregnant. I value any professionals work and the time they dedicate towards their job. Shes painted my nails poorly and by the next day, my nails had began to chip. She assisted me in going to dry my nails and I had my google pay pulled up ready. She came to me again with the ticket and said, you have to pay, its $38. I showed her my google pay app so she could direct me to the counter and she began to yell in her native language and all the technicians began to speak. I was looking around confused as to why she was yelling and being so hostile and rude towards me even after my friends reassured that they will be paying my ticket. I remained calm, but I was very upset and embarrassed. My friends technicians, as well as the other technicians, walked their clients to the counter to pay AFTER they had finished their manicure and polished their nails. My friend also tipped her in cash and she snatched the money from her hand and did not look at heror thank her. While I was doing my nails, there was another woman who was pregnant getting a pedicure and manicure and her technicians were so thorough and attentive of her. Not at all the experience, but it was certainly what my friends and I wanted for me prior to my birth.

2022-08-03I liked my nails and how they came out, but I felt uncomfortable when the lady put pressure so I could get and extra service, and then she was rude when I left a $10 tip, I dont know how much she expected but she didnt even say thanks.I dont think Ill be back. I think the only way youll have them happy is if you leave a good tip

2022-09-04Where do I begin I gave this place a try a few times over the course of about three years. In a nutshell they are overbooked over priced with low quality. And also a bit racist I noticed that they cater to white women often although they know me and my mother on a first name bases when we call and when we walk in.However our welcome is never as warm as I have watched other people who were not African-American.I’ve also noticed the patients that they’ve had with these other women that they lacked with us almost to the point where we are reluctant to ask questions.I’ve been getting my nails done for over 17 years and I know the difference between certain things they will rush you and tell you anything I got a pedicure once and she barely scraped the bottom of my feet I requested for her to scrape more she demanded that it would cost five extra dollars to take the callus off when I didn’t even have a callus she just didn’t want to scrape my feet to complete the pedicure. She then proceeded to scrape my heels so hard that they bled I was so angry she didn’t offer a discount I start it’s not even pay for it but I didn’t wanna make the situation any worse! They also are not very friendly they are snappy and rude and we’ll talk about you under their breath to be their peers don’t go to this place there are plenty of nail salons in the area that will treats you better

2022-04-19The staff makes you feel incredibly uncomfortable about tipping. I saw a few reviews about this before hand but decided to give this place a try anyways. The woman out right asked for a larger tip at the front desk in front of other customers. It was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. Tipping is not a mandatory thing, especially if there were issues with the service. I will not be returning.

2022-06-23Unfortunately the ladies could not keep up with the demand, with many people leaving the store frustrated with the wait time. I also got my sns nails taken off and left the store with very sore nails as they were clearly over drilled with the machine.
