This is a fantastic park. Large playground, sprinkler park, volleyball, tennis, pickleball, running paths, pavilion, restrooms, etc are all nice. Courts could deffly use refinishing and parking is hard during peak times.
Clean Amazing park for kids. Splash pad was cool, kids loved it. Pavilions, swings, jungle gym and large fields. What more could you ask for in a park.
Not a bad place yo take the kids to play on the playground or hold an event in the pavilion. Lots of sports fields around. Havent tried the splash park yet.
I havent been to lysander park in years, if ever (my mom said we used to go there when I was a kid, but I dont remember). Its such a nice, spacious park. Plenty of parking room, a paved walking trail for anyone in a wheelchair, and lots of doggie doo doo stations to clean up after the doggos.Theres a playground for the kids, a foot ball field, and small covered picnic tables that would be a cozy spot for a lunch. Also, I saw some grills that could be used for cookouts.I havent been in the bathroom, so I cant form an opinion on the cleanliness, but there is a large restroom area by the playground. Bonus, also what appears to be a little water park pad area.Not sure how much of any of this will be utilized during this time of covid, but its there.All in all, a really pleasant walking area (once you break away from the noise of the nearby road).Ill be coming back here a lot.
Absolutely loved it. We rented a pavilion and the park attendant was so nice and helpful. The kids loved the splash pad!

This is a wonderful little park with lots of picnic areas, a trail, and playground beautifully maintained. Located in the wonderful town of lysander, its only 20 minutes away from Syracuse.
This park has always been the same since I was born until recently they started adding some extra attractions and activities. I would really like to see this place continue to improve and update. Still great for walking, family events and sporting events.
Well maintained park with tennis courts, multiple large fields for soccer, Frisbee, etc. Has a nice gazebo and a few nice seating areas as well as a playground. There is also a nice paved path around the park for those who want to run or walk.

I have lived in Phoenix NY for the last 3 years and happened across this gem one day while out at a nearby lysander community yardsale. I LOVE this park. It is beautiful. The playground is great, the wide open fields the tennis courts/basketball courts. There are picnic tables for ample seating as well as great parking. Walking trails and lots of room to kick a ball around. It it extremely well maintained! There are restrooms and a community room that looked like it was reserved for a party! This is by far the best local park hands down!
Great space for fields of kids of all ages. Soccer as young as 4. Large parking lot for spectators to park right next to fields.

Awesome park. Would suggest a fence for the sand area. Some people bring their children to a playground not for a sand pit.
Nice park that is very well maintained with a few pavilions, good playground, great fields, tennis courts, restrooms, and a small paved running trail (0.75 miles). The general upkeep of the park impressed me the most.
This has playground and soccer fields along with a tennis court. The family can have a get together at this place. It is equipped with a pavilion that has outlets and electricity so you can charge phones, keep food warm and what have you.
What a great park! Love that theres a splash pad (although not open right now). Cant wait to see it under more normal conditions

Boy scouts troop should be supervised instead of bullying the little kids in the spray park just because they are older doesnt mean they can hog the squirt guns and then disrespect the parents that ask if their kid can have a turn, try to find the scout parents and they were no where in sight
We had a fantastic day today at the Splash Park ..All ages we were having fun .Kids were enjoying each other company ..We will definitely go back

2022-06-29Today I was there to watch my grandsons lacrosse game. Have been there in the past for Pop Warner football. Nice place to watch sports. They also have a real bathroom. Thats a plus. Parking is ok. They could use more. Tonight they had boys and girls lacrosse games and soccer games. Parking was tight.

I and my friends had a problem last year and end up calling police. Although the maintenance guys acted like we were the problem.... I dont get these types of persons.
