Macys in other cities:
Really always enjoy going to Colonie Center Macys!!! Love the cleanliness & everything ALWAYS looks so fresh & bright!! The staff is very pleasant & helpful! Although I could not find a coat in either Crossgates Macys or Colonie Center due to wrong sizes, the selection was pretty good. Me & my daughter both found plenty of after Christmas Sales & some late gifts for family we havent yet seen. The best Macys around hands down, complete with 3 floors!!!
This place needs an over hall. The escalator had the same feel of quality ad the tilt-a-whril. The mens selection is almost no existent, and the cleanliness was at a subpare level. This use to be the it store, I buy online from them mostly and I might agian especially when the only thing a guy can find in there is escalator tetanus.
Let me start by saying macys use to be and experience to shop here my dad would bring me ,we would get a drink at the little Cafe they had on 2nd floor Christmas time was magical they decorated the escalator and had a beautiful Christmas section, they had electronics it was a big deal to shop here people were respectful and helpful and took pride .presently it is dirty, rugs are aweful its dumpy and unorganized, some of the staff act like yr bothering them , macys make yrself stand out again go back to yr roots and retrain yr staff that you expect the best from them and when they give the best then reward and encourage hope to see a chhang in the very near future
Absolutely horrible! Changing their “policies” every day! Can’t even take the payment for the card!App is down, website is down and next thing you know you are charged with the late fee!Manager is an absolute joke! Can’t take the payment cause you have to have a physical card with you, and 2 minutes earlier a salesperson makes a purchase for the customer just by asking a phone number associated with the account. (No ID no card no SSN needed)You need to understand customer needs before you are going even to become manager and make sure that all your salespeople know the policy as well and not to make their own rules on how to pay for the card!
Macys is over priced items you are only paying for the brand name products that are made in China. Every product with a lock on it is made by 7 year old children in sweat shops. Bottom line you paying for them to work when we can be paying adults in this country to support their families.
One of the staff members at the women’s shoe sections was extremely rude. I politely asked for help with finding a shoe size when there was no customers there. She responded back so rudely and I left because she was giving a lot of attitude. I usually never leave reviews but me and my family were beyond disrespected….
I had an amazing customer service experience at this location. The woman who runs the Pick up location was very friendly and helpful. She helped me to exchange the sneakers I ordered to a smaller size. In the mattress department, I met Gary. If you ever have any question about a mattress, Gary will know the answer and he is very nice to boot. I had a great time shopping at this location. I also want to shout out to the cool young guy, who got my sneakers from the closet and finalized my shoe exchange.
Needed a pair of rain boots in a hurry was visiting a sheep farm. The salesperson was very disinterested. I found a pair of beautiful Duck Boots (Sperry) a little big but nothing thick socks couldnt fix. The sales person became quite chatty once she realized I wanted them. (Sad, prior to that encounter everyone else that I met and asked for directions to the shoe dept was gracious).Yes, I bought the boots & had the best time hanging out with the lambs & sheep.
Terrible experience. Ordered mens suit. Store made multiple mistakes. The only way to fix their ordering mistakes is for them to cancel order and reorder. Problem, the money comes out of your bank account right away when ordering. Returns, the money takes a long time to be credited to your account. This tied over 1 thousand dollars up for days and never received the suit on time.
Short on staff and inventory. Had to go and search the store to find a associate to help me. Once found the associate informed me the item I was looking to purchase may not be available and that a order has just arrived but had not yet been unpacked.. store dept, mens shoes was in total disarray.. Will order my shoes directly from the manufacture. Very disappointed..
My in store experience was great! However my mom and i ordered a runner for our house with the person working the register in the furniture department. When we received the runner we realized we got the wrong one. Im not sure if its a store problem or not but my real problem was when no one picked up the phone, i tried calling the furniture department 3 times and then i tried to reach someone else and no one picked up. I believe there should be someone to pick up and help customers.
Very well stocked on the day after Black Friday. Not too crowded thanks to Covid warnings and people smartly buying online from home. Still, Macys was ready for customers, lots of Black Friday sales and neatly merchandised. Prices were great by Macys standards. All in all a good shopping experience.
Go to the one in Crossgates! The one in Colonie is no on customer service. They are rude in this store.Pore customer service. They will talk to you anyway they like. While you are purchasing.Do speak. And we as customer do not want to here you say derogatory thing about your store!I will go to Crossgates.Longer trip but worth it.
Couldnt find anybody for any help whoever I asked for help didnt know where anything was and because I have a few tattoos of pair of shorts and a t-shirt they treated me like I was a bum if only they knew I had a few dollars in my pocket and a few credit cards maybe they would have been nicer but I wouldnt shop there again if I got paid to go
There is never salespeople on the floor to accommodate the shoppers. Today when I went to Macys I asked the saleswoman to assist me with finding an outfit. She act like she didnt want to come close to me, she act like she didnt want to be there and I finally got her to walk with me across the floor she pointed to the area we are might be able to find the outfit I was looking for and then she walked away. I finally found a nice sales woman and she took me straight to the outfit and help me pick out my size. They really need more sales people on the floor with better attitudes
I had gotten a pair of dress boots for christmas and had to exchange for a smaller size..when I went into the shoe section a woman greeted me immediately. She was able to scan my shoe box and go in back to locate the size I needed which was awesome cuz I didnt know where to look. They were having a huge sale on shoes too so when I exchanged them the new pair was actually cheaper so I got money back!!! The sales on boots were incredible tho and if I had more time I would have actually tried some on..Im def going back in the next few days to see what other great deals I can get before sale ends!!!
I’m only writing this after multiple unpleasant experience with this same employee that works behind the customer service counter on the 2nd floor at Macy’s in Colonie NY. First couple of times, I let it slide and this is like the 5th time. I always have to go to that customer service counter to pay my Macy’s card, pickup my online order or return an online order. Trust me if i can avoid that counter I would!I believe her ethnicity is Indian/Pakistan, I apologize if I’m wrong. She’s rude and looks so unhappy to be there.I’m not trying to get any discounts nor returning anything without receipts or no tags attached. I’m there to pay my Macy’s card or pick up my online orders or return an order that I follow their rtn policy. She lacks in customer service in every way, Macy’s needs to reassign her to the stock room or something. She has no personality to be working front line at Macy’s..Recently i was there, 2 clerks at the register was with other customers. I can see her walking back and forth putting away clothes here and there. I was next in line and am the only one in line. I’ve been standing there for about 10mins. I didn’t mind waiting, until another customer walks up behind me & also waited in line. That unpleasant employee comes directly over to her and ask if she needs help with her return and told her to follow her to another register so she can help her. YET again me experiencing this with her made me realized this is seriously unacceptable. The lack of common sense, common customer courtesy, spews out of this employee! it’s ridiculous! she’s suppose to help whoever’s NEXT in line! She’s either a dummy or just full of hate! I say this Because this happens too many times towards me and I come often enough for her to recognize me, or she either treats a lot more like this too. She picks and chooses who she wants to help and that’s not how Macy’s should let their staff do. Yes I understand if i was difficult or creepy or something, & a staff can avoid if they feel uncomfortable but I was non of that. I’m a person who avoid any confrontations as much as possible. She’s just terrible, makes me not ever want to come back to Macy’s because of my experience with her and she’s always there! UghhI called and emailed them directly and hope they address her attitude or retrained her. I’m not asking for the damn lady to be fired but dear god she needs some retraining.
Terrible experience. There was a t shirt that said it’s original price was $14. Then it was marked down to $0.01. We tried to purchase the t shirt for one cent. But she would not sell it to us for one cent. She said she scanned it and would type in the price it says. She typed in $14 in the computer. She should of typed in one cent because that is what it says. They should honor the price on the tag. The customer is always right.
I have always loved Macy’s and when I went into the Colonie center men’s department today I was disappointed.1st The hand sanitizer at the door was empty 😳 the shopping around men’s department was ok until I went to pay and the women behind the counter had her mask down around her chin. I asked her if she knew she wasn’t wearing her mask on her face (I was). She said “your over there and I’m here, so I’m fine” I felt very uncomfortable. Some people ruin it for everyone else. Sorry Macy’s someone should make sure all employees are wearing masks and I would feel much better about shopping when I absolutely need to!
I always enjoy my shopping experience at this store. I love the fragrance and Makeup section they are always courteous and theres always someone looking to help you find whatever it is you are looking for. I recently came in to buy a pair of shoes and the customer service was excellent.
I love this store! I love shopping there and enjoy the shopping experience at Macys!I will say Macys is not the least expensive store but I usually like the quality of the store goods they have to purchase. I am never disappointed with my purchases nor do I have any problems with the staff. They are usually very friendly and helpful.I would recommend Macys to anyone who loves to shop!
In here to the Mac counter 7 days before Christmas at 7:40 p.m. and not a Mac sales rep to be found another girl from a different makeup counter was covering because all the Mac employees went home at 7:30 had to call a manager to do a transaction and he stated that Macys has nothing to do with Mac counter they just leased the space and create their own hours. Never heard or saw such poor customer service I use Mac on a daily basis but now Im going to transfer to another Makeup Company unbelievable.
Busy and bustling with people and wonderful fragrances. Went to the clinique counter to buy foundation and they didnt have my color. The clerk was super busy on the phone sale. I was patient. She picked a new color for me, but said I couldnt sample them.Cliniques policy is no testing for fear of covid Transmission. So I said why cant you squeeze a dribble on my hand. She said something could happen or the bottle accidentally touch my skin. So she got the Q-tips out, then the foundation, then a piece of glass. She squeezed some on a long piece of glass, then smeared it with the Q-tip. She told me to look in the mirror while she held the glass in front of my face and said dont touch it.She had 3 shades smeared on the glass. I picked one, but wanted to be sure this new color would be for me, especially at $31 an ounce. So as she was done smeaing it, I reached my hand out and asked may I have the Q-tip, because I really just wanted to smear it on my cheek. She said no and tossed it in the garbage. I wanted to dig in the garbage and grab it, because if I can hand her money for payment with no fear of COVID Transmission, then why couldnt she hand me a foundation soaked Q-tip without fear of spreading COVID?Clinique I think its extreme for you to be that astringent. The hospitals arent even that stringent. I went to the pediatric E.R. the night before and the doctor reached his bare hand out to me to shake it. As I reached my hand out to shake I asked are we supposed to be shaking hands. He said, its fine. My hands are clen and Im gonna wash my hands as soon as I leave here. So Clinique you need to tweek your tester sampling policy. Your products are all out in the open. Anyone can pick up a bottle and squeeze away before any staff even notices. So you really are not keeping the products free from Coronavirus in that regard, but overkill in sampling protocols that is just a turn off.Its like telling me I cant try on the clothes before I purchase them, but you cant bring them back because of Corona. Does that make sense?. If Stewarts shops can let us sample ice cream on a clean spoon, for crying out loud, then Clinique should be able to to let us sample foundation on a clean Q-tip. Your staff could have allowed me to put on a glove and dribble it on my latex glove. Cmon Clinque I shouldnt have to give you ways to make this happen.
Still one of the best Department Stores around. I usually only visit the Plus Sized dept for clothing but a Macys Associate advised me to checkout the other Womens Clothing areas and I was able to find many more items in my size...even in Petites. In most Stores the Petite Section rarely has over a size 8. Im Impressed.
I work here as a seasonal customer service associates during the holiday season. Its a very good place to work. As far as the shopping experience, its mostly ok however, Macys lacks proper explanation of the coupons and discounts they send to members. Also, there is a lack of associates at certain department location POS stations making the main register locations heavy with large lines. The store itself is very clean and laid out clearly. However, some customers show a lack of regard for disgarded items making it difficult for new customers to find what they are looking for. Overall its a good place to shop either in person or online. Lots of quality products.
Stopped in to pick up some cologne for a lady friend. The sales associate that helped me was quick, efficient snd friendly. She provided excellent service and even managed to find a classy, no label, gift box so the surprise wouldnt be spoiled before the gift was open. Thank you, Macys, for finding truly caring employees.
I have been a loyal Macy’s card holder - customer for almost 20 yrs or so and I have never had such an unpleasant experience as I did tonight.. In May I purchased sun glasses that I thought I was purchasing from Macy’s. I paid for them with my Macy’s credit card and used a Macy’s coupon. The sunglasses were $183.00 and they rusted and started to peal. When I tried to return them for another pair Noah and a woman employee who rudely left the dept because she clearly didn’t want to deal with me just kept repeating the policy. Had I known that Sun Glass Hut wasn’t a part Of Macy’s I would have never purchased them. How was I to know when it was never told to me and I was able to use my Macy’s credit card and coupon. Not only would he not help me he rudely reminded me that the word Sun Glass Hut is posted everywhere.. he kept talking over me interrupting me and again did nothing to rectify this. I may have shown how upset I was but that frustration only increased by how rude he was and unable to provide any solutions other than the glasses are not rusty they are deteriorating like that’s any better.. I will be thinking twice about keeping my platinum card ... this is even more upsetting to me as I am used to Macy’s top notch customer service, which I brag about constantly to my family friends and co-workers. So being treated like this inside of a Macy’s store was definitely not something I expected or appreciated.
MacysIf only there was another store with the same selection of goods...Lord and Taylor is close but their customer service is worse!I was shopping in the Mens department today...finding sizes and (correct!) prices is practically impossible. Then stand in line at 4:30 pm the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (ie not that busy) because only TWO registers are open.AFTER ALL THAT - Would I like to have them hold my goods so that I can pick them up Thursday to get 30% off? I look askance at the ENORMOUS pile of clothes all around and doubt sincerely that I will ever see my hard-found gifts if I leave without them, even though I could use a sale as much as the next guy.So, NO I will pay full price after all that hassle. And that is why Macys will never, ever get more than 3 stars with me.
This is a fine department store. They sell upper end clothing, makeup, jewelry, along with having a home dept. with fine china, & top of the line appliances. The sales staff are very professional. Is can be a high price department store, but if you catch the sales you can get some incredible merchandise for great prices!
I bought a Samsung sport watch from the Macys at Colonie Center, it was not in stock so they ordered one and sent it to me in the mail. When I received the watch it was obviously used, the band was gray (it is suppose to be black), all the accessories were thrown in the box and there was no plastic on the bezel. When I went to the store to return it they told me I would have to return it to the store that it came from (it came from a store in Virginia). I let them know that I purchased it from them and that they were responsible for refunding my money. After going back and forth for awhile the one of the many department managers agreed to take it back and order me another one. The second watch arrived, again used, it had dog hair in the box and smelled like bad cologne. This one is going back, done buying anything from this company. They lowered their standards and dont care what the customer receives. If you are looking to buy any type of smart watch avoid this place and go to Best Buy.Update- Went back to the store to return the second used watch that Macys sold me. The department manager, Daniel told me he would not take it back because it was used, I reminded him that it was shipped that way. He went on to say that gets to make the final decision if he takes something back. I finally convinced him to swap it out for another one. He tried being slick and gave me a returned one (has the return sticker on it ), this is after another employee showed me a new one in a sealed box, it was better than the one I had so I took it plus Daniel told me it was the only one they had. Stay away from this store, they are unethical and could care less about the customer. Again, go anywhere else.
They need more sales associates. We were there to purchase a mattress topper and a kitchen aide. Left empty handed. Very disappointed. When we got home, heard on the radio both items were on sale. No signage about the sale. Miss the days when the stores were on top of things.
If you have someone you want to have the look, Macys is the place. Take your girl to the cosmetics department, they will have her looking fine, now watch the Joes, they will be up her can, after you spend the dough. Too bad, Im to cheap to pay, but Im willing to accept donations.
I like the brands at Macys, but the store was crazy. The fitting rooms had clothing strewn all about. The different clothing departments has clothes all over the floors. Sales people were hard to find, as well as open registers. The biggest pet peeve- no carts of any kind. So if you plan on buying a few items, plan on lugging it all around in your arms. So ridiculous. Both Macys in Albany are this way.
Macys isnt the store it used to be. I went to buy some work clothes. The selection of slacks was limited and I didnt seeany Dockers it short sleeves dress shirts. They have large areas for designer labels but I had a hard time finding stuff. They also dont have as much staff and not once did a sales clerk ask if I needed help, until I walked up to the register to check out. I would have thought a brick and mortar store would try hard to give great service since they cant compete with online prices. I was wrong.
Largest Macys in the area located in Colonie Center.... bigger than Crossgates Mall. Purchased a suit and got great customer service. Paid $180 for a suit which was 65% off. Now I know that they never sell these suits, and realistically, prob no other items in the store are full price. Macys uses fake regular pricing just like Kohls.
Terrible cashier.rude.uncaring. lied took my star pass to see if It could be used it could not be used because of what I purchased. I asked for it back cause it was still good till Feb. 3 he claimed he gave it back when he did not. Looked like he could care less and didnt feel like working. His name was Tom and he was at the register across from Lenox purchases. Call to report at 2 different departments and there was no one in department to answer phone. Terrible customer service.
Going by way of Toys R Us After more then 40 years of Macys being my Go To Store I am going to have to rethink my loyalty. My dissatisfaction actually started a while ago when my Loyalty coupons started to no longer be useful on sale items. Half the fun of shopping is being able to use your coupons. They should take a lesson from JC Penny when they almost put themselves out of business cutting out there coupons. Wake up Macys.... That aside the reason for this poor review today was the fact that I went to Macys to get an EVEN exchange on a pair of Levis. Thought they had been purchased in December for Christmas however they were purchased eariler ( I do my shopping early for the holiday. Anyway they were the wrong size. Just kept forgetting to bring them with me. I get to the store to exchange the 513 jeans for the EXACT same pair of pants except a different size. Because the purchase was over 180 days ( this is a new change for them) they said all they could do is send me a check in the mail for the pants at the lowest price the jeans had sold for in the past year. I mean really??? I wasnt looking for money all I wanted was an EXACT EVEN exchange for the EXACT same item..just a different size. Are you kidding me???? I ,mean these people thought it was better to jerk me around after 45 years of loyal patronage. REally??? This is not like I was returning some old ..used piece of clothing... this was BRAND NEW WITH TAGS and all I wanted was an even exchange. With all the challenges the brick and mortar stores are facing one of the thing Macys had going for them was customer service. I see they are no longer interested in that. Well Macys employees get ready to get on the unemployment line with all the Toys R Us employees... If you have no customer service I have no reason to deal with you.
Purchased items on a bridal registry here and the sales associate screwed it up twice. Then the items were sent to a random bride out west instead! I tried to get a refund and Macys said they gave one to me, only to find out they re-charged my card again when the random bride returned the gifts for a gift card. I spent 5 months getting late charges and on the phone to try and fix it. Each time, Macys assured me the problem was solved, and each month, I got another bill in the mail with more late charges. Each time I contacted the store where I purchased the gift, they were incredibly unhelpful and a bit rude. I would not recommend this store.
I am about a month late but. I called in a while ago and spoke with a Heather in Impulse Beauty. I needed to schedule an eye brow waxing appointment so I called in. She proceeded to be super rude and super short with me. She told me that she cant do that right now (Never told me as to why) and that I can schedule it on yelp. When I tried to ask why because I have never used yelp so I much rather call in.. She asked me if there was anything else I needed? I am a Customer Service Manager myself so I know I hold people in Customer Service roles to a higher standard, but my god. If Jamie wasnt the best with eye brows, id never go back. Ever.
Horrible customer service. After waiting in line more than 45 minutes of the cashier being so slow they told me that i had to go and cash out in another cashier because they closed that one.It was literally 1 person waiting on the line and it took forever. The cashier after finishing woth that person told me that i had to go check out again somewhere else because they had to close that one.Horrible experience and the slowest people ever.
Love macys. went to get m new movado watch sized and the jeweler gave me back my watch. I put it on, went up the escalator and it flew off my wrist. I brought it back to lord and taylor and turns out the guy lost one of my pins, so i had to run around the mall trying to get this fixed. Just an inconvenience.
Mattress - after purchase of a expensive mattress that the topper failed within two weeks with visible body shaped sink holes of over 2 inches deep. The replacement mattress date was made two weeks out for delivery, leaving us no place to sleep. When delivery Person Juan Vasquez took the old mattress out they left the door open (Berrrrrr) not saying anything- NO replacement bed was put in place I called his number and asked where my new bed was he said NOT MY PROBLEM -IM BUSY - AND HUNG UP! NOT WHITE GLOVE SERVICE JUST RUDE! after an hour on the phone i am told - no one can do anything for another 2 weeks! This is a nightmare!!!!
Very rude people. I went there to shop. Then I left because I felt aggravate for one more of people working there. The person was following me all over the place. It make me feel very uncomfortable. I left and I went to shop almost one hour away from that place. I wont suggest people to go to shop there. Good company but they prefer to discriminate against customers.
I went here for mens suits vice more expensive and specialized stores because of the price difference. I was worried before I went that the service was not going to be very good in comparison to the other places though. In the end I dont think the service could have been better. Hamid was there for us, every step of the way. From the pants and jacket, to the shirt, even to the matching tie he helped tremendously. Definitely recommend to anyone, including my own family
Waste of time, went in for a specific pair of Adidas sneakers. There wasnt a worker over by the finish line area so I went to the main checkout where 3 workers were standing. Lady saw the shoe i was holding and said thats from over there. Then asked if there was a person working over there. They said he just took his break so no. So aparently even if you are working in shoe department you cant help a customer by getting a shoe and making a sale. In seeing I had a gift card I thought it would make sense to go there. Never again, I will just order online.
Long line to check out in menswear. Cashier was calling for help. That took awhile for someone to show up. People in front of us were hanging their items on rack and leaving. We then went to Michael Kors register to make a purchase and had to wait for an associate. No help to be found.
Macys has a great variety of fashion, fragrance and household items. However, the staff, with the exception of rhe shoe department, are not very friendly amd act as if youre bothering or inconveniencing them by asking for assistance. Its very clear why online shopping has more of an appeal. But theres nothing like seeing colors, touching the fabric and teying on before you bye so for those reasons Ill keep coming back.
Typical Macys. This store is usually messy in womens shoes and clothing depths. Hard pressed to find enough employees to help with selection questions. You basically find your item and search for cash register. There is no magical shopping experience one expects with the Macysname. Just over priced items, poor customer service at this particular store. Stay home and shop online. Poor customer service will be the deathnnof retail shopping in actual stores
First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone for the excellent customer service and expedient resolution to a mistake that I tribute to my indecisiveness.I walked into the store to browse for shoe for my mom on the discount racks at 9:20 p.m.; knowing that the store closes along with the the rest of Colonie Center Mall at 9:30!I really did not expect to find anything. Customer service associate, Steve Miller assisted me by telling me about what shoes were leather or summer styled.I found a shoe, and he scanned it and found that there was a mate for it! It was a short boot by Calvin Klein that was significantly discounted from its original price.I hem and hawed about buying it, but Mr. Miller helped cement my decision by explaining that it’s a solid leather shoe by a known designer.Upon agreeing, as we walked to the cash register for me to purchase, Steve found that there was only one shoe in the box. I had inadvertently put the original shoe back on the self! This action kind of set the tone for what happened. Steven searched the rack and found the shoe! It’s now past 9:30 and he was unsure whether the registers closed. As we approached a register, he asked an associate, who told him that the register had not shut down! The shoe was closer to being mine!I was asked if I had a plenti card (I do) and Steve and another customer service associate, Emetyme scanned the card and the box and the shoe was further discounted! It was meant to be!!Happily, with shoes in my hand, I walk out the store past 9:30 p.m. to my car. For some inexplicable reason, when I get in the car, I open the box to marvel at my sale of the century! There, in the box, was one of the shoes and in place of the other, a sneaker!Panicked, I screamed and drove to the door that just locked behind me and knocked on the door. Inside, staff were preparing to leave, and one person came over to the door as I waved a sneaker at him from on the outside. He told me to hold on, and while he disappeared, I assumed to find someone who could help unlock the door, a young woman approached me from behind, and with a gentle and calm demeanor, asked me what happened. I explained the situation to her in a panic and she calmly told me that they were looking for someone who could possibly help me.She told me that only a manager could open the door and told me that if they couldn’t help me tonight, that I could gladly come back in the morning. I guess by the look in my face and the panic in my explanation told her that I wasn’t budging. She said that she worked in the office and pulled out her phone, I guess to call someone. She talked to me and in a few minutes a gentleman, who all called Frank came to the door. The young lady took the initiave to explain to Frank the situation and even told him about me telling her that I didn’t even remember getting my change (only $3.32).Frank addressed the young lady by her first name Liz, as he took the box and told me to give him a minute. In less than 10 minutes, Liz and I saw Frank with the box.Liz brightly commented that he probably found the shoe. And to my surprise, he did! In addition he gave me the box with the correct shoes and the $3.32 change.I was completely shocked, happy, surprised and honored that, as the time was approaching 10:00 pm, how everyone took the time to help me. Even Steve came came to the door and profusely apologized for the mixup.I was treated like a customer who was a VIP; not someone who just spent less than $60.00!My reason for writing this is because I believe that when you receive customer service above and beyond what you would imagine, you let others know of your experience; especially given the times in which we live, where everyday you hear something negative going in the world. My personal thanks to Ms. Liz Brady, who after the resolution, walked back to her car ( she was off the clock), Mr. Steven Miller, who patiently helped me with the purchase, and men’s department manager, Mr. Frank Marra.Thank you all,Cordell Boone
They helped me out with whatever I needed. I went in looking for a suite, walked out feeling very satisfied. Hamid Ropri was that man who helped me. He was very professional and made me feel welcome. Great customer service deffinetly will be back. Just because of Hamid.
Just had an awful experience with Noah from the sunglass Hut, which he repeatedly stated is “not Macy’s but a vendor inside Macy’s” well from someone who used to be exactly that inside of a different department store, I will tell you that your vendors and the way they treat your customers IS a reflection of your store. So to Macy’s, why would you ever allow a vendor who would talk over your customers, roll his eyes while leaning against the counter and openly throw is liability to the situation out the window by stating he can do what he wants since he doesn’t work for Macy’s.
Macys is a great store It has 3 floors are the 3rd floor has pots and pans as dish where it has all a clothing it has all sorts of different stuff the 1st floor has some chocolate said has jury it has mens wear it has airings and stuff it has perfume it has all sorts of other decoration stuff the 2nd floor has ov stuff for the kids said has all sorts of stuff at has womens wear it has furniture it has beds and has everything on your Christmas list go to Macys its one store where youll love to be around Christmas or any time during the year the end
I have never dealt with such a manger who clearly does not care for the business of Macys. I traveled very far to the Macys located at Colonie mall on January 20th 2017 and came to make an exchange of a jacket I purchased and was not satisfied with my item. I clearly explained my distress and he smugly told me no and did not care if I traveled far. I would think that Macys would care about who they hire.
Hello,I would like to mention the wonderful customer service that is always provided by Victoria, the Ralph Lauren specialist on the second floor. I believe her name is Victoria Grant. She always remembers me by name, always goes out of her way to be helpful in ways that used to be taken for granted but are now hard to come by. She is a great asset to Macys!Carole Rainville
Get to the counter used my card. She said it didnt go through try again. I do once again no luck. I get to my credit union go to the ATM make a withdrawal. Im short what I thought was 180.00. Banks closed so I go home. The genes still had the security tag. In the morning I return. The manager Rachel took off 20 percent off my purchase. I half to go to the bank get a print out and return. Im not happy. Hope everything works out. Or my levies and shirt cost 241.50. Prey for me guys.

2022-01-09I visited this Macy’s a few times before writing this review and it’s always the same: messy Men’s section with things are very scattered and disheveled. The Men’s shoe section is an absolute mess. You have to go out of your way to find help. This is a very sad representation of Macy’s.

2022-03-25A perfect place to shop. Anything from casual to party dresses. From low to high priced articles. You name it and they have it. Pick from a wide variety of stuff!!Its like everything under one roof!! Clothes, shoes, makeup, bags, decoration and many more.Staff is very helpful and everything is well organized. Return policies are pretty good and easy. There are so many good things on clearance always.A must visit for all you shopaholics in the town.

2022-04-12Often helpful and quick. Needed to do an online pickup and staff were happy to help me find where I had to go. Lost 3 stars after a terrible bed-buying experience well beneath what I would expect having grown up with Macys parades and such, but for clothing in particular my experiences have been decent here.

2022-06-04The first thing I heard when I entered the store was another customer loudly trying to find an employee. I probably should’ve taken that as the sign it was, but I was going to a different floor and figured that I’d be able to go in, make my purchase, and head out without issue.I found some pants in the Backstage section and I was looking to buy them, but the checkout desk had no one there and I didn’t see anyone nearby. Another couple customers left the line at the same time I did. Unsure if they ended up buying their items, but I put mine back and left to go to a different store in the mall. There likely would have been someone in one of the other store sections on floor one or two who could check out my items, but I just didn’t feel like searching when I had limited time.I left three stars because I’ve had an okay time in the store in the past, and some of the deals can be pretty good if you look around, but it seems like they’ve been really understaffed lately.

2022-04-09Lots of selection, little pricey, 2 of 3 customer service people I dealt with very friendly and helpful. 3rd employee was snotty and rude. When left store alarm went off, they had left one of those security tabs on my dress. Then I had to go back and wait in line again to get it removed.

2022-07-05This was my first trip back to macys since the pandemic. The store layout has changed somewhat and brands are nownlocated in different places. I had a hard time finding misses clothes (older than juniors, younger than my mom). Hard to tell if this is due to the layout changes or post pandemic fashion changes. The sales were OK but not as good as pre pandemic. This is the best local Macys though and my typical go-to for online pickup and returns. Staff are always VERY helpful.

2022-05-15Was looking for a suit. Mens warehouse pricing was terrible and no one helped me. Went here based upon a suggestion. Lots to choose from suit wise and got it at an awesome price.

2022-06-03On rhe day I visited the dressing rooms were crowded and unkempt. The cashier was also a bit overwhelmed. Had issues ringing up a lot of the Macy rewards.

2022-07-11Always loved Macys for clothing. Recently the place does not look that organized anymore. Like a bargain basement with only employees behind the cash register. So sad.

2022-07-02Always happy with the Calvin Klein selection. Sales associates on the first floor are much more helpful than others on the second floor.
