I had a wonderful shopping experience! So much merchandise to choose from, everything is arranged so I didnt have to figure out what was where, and the cost. Great experience!
I was happy to leave with great items for super cheap. People who work there are mostly helpful. One thing though is that I wasnt appreciative of a fellow shopper mistaking me for an employee around the fitting room. I understand thats that ladys ignorance as I clearly didnt have a MACYS uniformed shirt on, but no one around us did.
Quality merchandise on clearance. Some items are same as found at Macys stores.
It is Macys off store similar Sacks off, Nostrom rack..... Sometime you can find a product for a good price and need to spend a certain amount of your time to gig through aisles. The biggest advantage of that store is it location. It is a center of Emmons Avenue , walking around canal and a lot of eating places. When the weather is good, you will enjoy that neighborhood.
I always find some random things here now. They arent stocked as they use to be. Theyve been doing construction on the store for the longest. Its annoying the escalator isnt on or working sometimes. But if you are looking for household items, some clothing items at a good price this is the place. Wisg there where more designer items. The managers and staff are uausally very helpful and friendly.

Messy. Also they need to improve the service. When I went to pay for the two dresses, the yang guy at thewas not folding them but hedid a ball like he was throwing a garbage. I told them to fold them and put them in the bag. It was shoking to see such disrespectful attitude to a client. If someone reeds this,please take a note and instruct the people how to work. Thank you.

This store definitely isn’t a very high-end one, and the service + the state of the store reflect on that. However, with a only little digging, some gems can be found here that are half the price (or even lower!) than they usually are. The store itself is a bit unorganized, but honestly, what do you expect? I’ve visited this place once, and I was under a time crunch, but I still managed to find some skincare items that were really good deals! Looking forward to coming back again.
The store was very warm...not conducive to shopping on a hot & humid day. I did buy a very nice picture frame at a great price.

Hit and miss but I have gotten some great buys .patience is needed.but store is well maintained and has a great staff. The four star rating is because of parking. Dont go at peak times. There is a lot but minimum is 5.00 so if you Re not in and out it negates the savings

This store is an okay store, its not that neat its not that organized everything is all over the place. Especially the kitchen and the house where area its all over the store. The bathroom is very disgusting every time i go there I find paper towels napkins are throwing on the floor. the doors do not lock there is no tissues no napkins no paper towels. very filthy restroom they need to clean it they need to put some refresher they smell nasty and very gross. Some of the items that they sell are damaged specially makeup be careful when you buy make up some of them are expired damaged.The Associates that works there are very rude. they do not help you to check the price. they do not help you if you need a special size. they never even greet you when you come inside the store unprofessional way to handle and manage business.They always have an attitude when they talk to customers and roll their eyes I dont know why very unprofessional way for an associate to treat a customer like that.
Most of the time that visit, the floors are clean with the exception of the shoe department but that is understandable. The selection of clothing is great, I have managed to find a lot of great pieces.
Its cool 😎 it needs more items for kids and houseware but otherwise its a half size closet that I like to walk into the sales are affordable and the cashier are friendly, just limit asking to get a Macys card if the same person just made a purchase its annoying.
Limited selection of overpriced products. On a weekday there are more sales people than the customers in this 2-story store. Hard to believe that it is still profitable. Public parking is in the same building, entrance from the back.

Very races wanted purfum. The womenSaid too me I dont have samples. I just wanted the bottle of Burberry purfum.
It is not the same Macys like it was 10 years ago . A lot of cheap staff made in China. Empty and depressing. Nice young customer service workers were very helpful. Sometimes you can get a brand parfums and cosmetics for cheap .
Of course you cant find the right sizes for the thing u liked, buuut there are huge underpriced clothes, home goods and everthing else in there. Especially i am thankful for the lady (store manager she was, inm) who found my girls boot and brought to me.
No parking lot. Have to hang around on street hoping for someone to leave to get parking. Womens clothing are reasonable. I dont know why mens clothing always so expensive. Pricing of other discounted items can be found cheaper at Target and othee stores.
WAS HIRED BY MACYS HR DEPT TO WORK IN THIS STORE. I HAVE THE EMAIL TO PROVE IT. THE STORE MANAGER HAD NO IDEA THAT I WAS TO TRAIN TODAY. HE TOLD ME THAT THE STORE IS DOING VERY POORLY AND NO HELP IS NEEDED. MACYSSHOULD GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER. SENT A EMAILTO CORPORATE. I WONT EVEN SHOP THERE AGAIN.
Always find good deals here on womens clothing and shoes. Only downfall is mens area is so small selection is small but otherwise great deals and fast service.
Every Sunday they have a 29.99 special and you can get some severely discounted items. I love this place see you there!!

Great! & you have a 2hr shopping time allowed in parking lot with your card being stamped pay if you do a longer stay. If quick browse lots of meter street parking.
Great items at great prices, but hit or miss if ur able to find a specific thing you want. Go in with an open mind & full wallet, because even though you can get some great steals, you will not walk out empty handed. I had to put stuff back
The store was in a complete disarray. The racks are jammed with merchandise. The menswear was awful. Much of the clothing didnt seem like anything that one would find at a regular Macys and seemed like it was from another lower end store. The housewares dept. looked like the shelves at Goodwill. I bought a tie that was nice but couldnt find anything in my size in the jumbled mess.
I like the merchandise that is available and the prices are good at Macys Backstage. Also because Im disabled and use an electric scooter, the aisle are wide enough for me to get around the store and the handicapped buttons make access easy for me. Whenever Im by Emmons Ave. I make it a point to go in and see whats new in the store.
AMAZING sales from the best companies. You should visit this place. Youre going to save a lot of money in QUALITY items.
I always see that joint each time I drive the Belt Eastbound, well my kids and I finally checked it out. Well, its a little mall in the neighnorhood. Go checko it out, staff was friendly. Restaurants and the boat dock across the street.

THIS IS FOR CATS ON THE BAY NOT MACYS2nd time Ive been here and now the last, the first time I was here my girlfriend liked it, I thought the food was good. So I took my girlfriend there for her birthday and first thing the coat check guy insisted I had to take my jacket off, so I checked my jacket and girlfriends coat, the place was so loud it was impossible to communicate with the waitress so we had to point to items on the menu. My girlfriend was disappointed since a few items were removed from the menu, we both got lobster bisque, this time it had very little lobster, sherry or cream, it was hot though, my frenched rack of lamb was fair but they gave 4 pieces and some mediocre mashed potatoes, she got salmon since the lobster and crab items were removed from the menu. The big upset came when I got the bill they had inserted an 18% service charge. I have seen some places charge a service charge for large groups but for 2 people? Ive only seen this in Bermuda where they charge the customary 15%. So I gave the waitress $165 to pay the $162.65 bill expecting to get $2.35 back, instead she avoided me, it took me 15 minutes to get her attention so I could get my change,I already paid %18 I wasnt going to give extra for standard service, eventually she gave me $2 and didnt give me the 35 cents so thats what I gave the coat check guy who balked wanting $3 per item, I just left telling him to get the money from the waitress.
They have a nice selection of plus size clothing, to me they were lacking enough color for this time of year. The staff was very helpful.
Its nice organized and stay open till 10pm which I can always get my stuff after my work in weekdays having a Macys on Emmos is a great option.

Its nice to go there, they have a selection from Macys, Bloomingdales & many other high end expensive stores, if u can find what ur looking for u can get something thats normally $90 for about $25.But its a HIT OR MISS (downfall) Say you want 4 decorative pillows they may have 1 or 2 if ur lucky u may find 4.Whatever the big name stores have left when their get to getting a new shipment in they send it there.I went their Thursday and was patient looking through all the dresses I found 4 HIGH QUALITY DRESSES AND ALL 4 CAME TO UNDER $100.Its DEFINETLY WORTH THE TRIP!

Every time I call the number the have provided they ask me for what department i want to speak with, and i tell them and then they hang up.EVERY TIME. i called 6 times. Same thing has happened about a month ago when i had a question. Very unprofessional and disrespectful.
Its a bit or miss, they have whatever Macys, Bloomingdales cant sell. The only dept Ive found anything in is lingerie & perhaps when they have matching sets, towels, sheets, some nice housewares. But then u may want 2 throw pillows and they just have 1.

Macys backstage in brooklyn is a small two floor store with a tiny selection of most of the items you would find in a retail store . They sell low end items mixed with high end haute couture. The low end items can start at prices of 2.99 during sales season. The have a seperate section for athletic clothing.All in all it was o.k experience. I came looking for shoes but the selection was similar to Ross stores . So I went towards the makeup and it was just like TJ maxx. So nothing really stood out except the high end clothing which was overpriced.

The environment was very inviting. Sizes were in order and all items were well organized. Also, this Macys Backstage was not crowded at all.

I went to that area to relax and bumped into Macys backstage where I bought 2 gorgeous hand bags at a great price. My Godmother also bought 2 bags , one was a traveling bag. All name brands.

Recently on our visit to this location, I found the selection of merchandise a plus because of Good and affordable items.
So happy to have this store so close. Its easy to get to and after the shopping there are plenty of places to eat.

From clothing to shoes, bags, cosmetics, kitchen/bath/bedroom, electronics, garden, pet accessories, womens/mens/kids etc. Biggest complaint, escalator going up never works. Wonder if theres an elevator by the fitting room 🤔

2022-02-03Good place to shop inexpensive clothing. I work with chemicals and therefore always ruining my clothes. Thats why i like to get something more affordable for work. One thing i dont like that they dont have shipping baskets by the main entrance. There is another entrance that not many people know about and this is where they keep all the baskets. So basically if you dont know where to look for the baskets you wont find them. Whats up with that???? And actually Ive mentioned this to the management. Please fix that problem!

2022-01-23This is a great little outlet. They have some of everything. There are days its overflowing with trendy plus size bargain outfits. Other days not so much but overall its a great little store! The only thing that sucks is that you cannot return Macys purchases here, only backstage purchases. Go figure!

2021-01-16Love this place , especially for quality cologne and perfumes when needed the same day. You can always find those diamonds in the rough. Price range from $20 to $50 will get you some amazing scents.

2022-02-03Pandemic or no pandemic, my wife used the female bathroom and said it was disgusting! It looked like its never been cleaned. To make matters worse, there was no toilet paper that was usable. They had a roll of paper on the backside of the toilet. Yes between the lever to flush and the toilet seat. Really? Unacceptable! I used the mens room and it was no better.
