Once again, everyone at Macys was awesome. I truly have never had a bad experience with staff at Macys. Kind and considerate. Willing to work with you. I appreciate the odd grumpy check out teller, because I saw what they went through with previous customer.
What a disaster. I went to buy shorts. Found what I wanted to try on. Had to hunt for an open fitting room. Entrance to fitting has mounds of items to restock. There were associates all over the floor stocking, associates discussing whatever amongst themselves, and two registers open with lines seven people deep on each. I gave up, dropped my items on a table to enter the mound of restock and left empty handed. What’s worse, if the line had been short, I was going to buy more that I forgot.
I have been coming here for many years but on my most recent visit the customer service was very poor. There was very limited amount of workers. And the workers that were there didnt seem concern with making sure me and other customers found what we were looking for. Im a little disappointed because Macys always had GREAT! customer service.
I would give 5 stars but noticed security person was monitoring my movements in the handbag area.Very few people in the store and so it was obvious to me. Unpleasant feelingTrain security better.Macys Bklyn has limited space but has a good selection of name brands. Ultimately I purchased a few items.
It was just okay, too many high schoolers and drifters hanging out in the home department. There was not enough home selection products to choose. An underrated store compared to its 34th street parent. Nice renovations, but I would not shop there unless I absolutely needed to.
Not good. Just an awkward feeling when I walk in. Since this place was renovated I dont fel good shopping here. Mainly because of the selection of clothing. The shoe area is small. Also there is a horrible smell in the basement. Smells like dead rats.

I wanted to buy a king size pillow for a reasonable price but the price was to high. I think a pillow should be $20- $40. It is not fair.
This Macys is beautiful. Well organized and although there may not be many workers on the floor you can find things easily and the workers are always very helpful.
I like shopping at Macys not only for their Goods but especially for their no-hassel returns ,if I I return something I purchased at a store it must be for a reason especially if I asked for exchange. I give the trophy to Macys.
Preposterous amount of employees wandering around doing nothing. They want you to buy the items in the department you got them but half the registers are unmanned at any given time.
This is not the Macys Im accustomed to from Manhattan. The store leans more towards products for women than men. Even the floor dedicated to menswear is lacking in organization and selections for men. The store overall has a basement sale vibe that will definitely keep me away. As a guy that shops Im left with a hit or miss each time I visit, mostly miss. Ill take the crowds of the Manhattan store in an effort to find what Im shopping for.
Ive always loved Macys, not just for their quality goods, but I love their sales reps, who know everything about the product in their area or department. Todays example, in the Brooklyn, NY store on Fulton, was Justin, who should be a Macys model, but instead was in the mens bath n body cologne section, and knew the answer to every question I had about Dior, Versace and the rest of the top sellers, and convinced me to spend more than $100 on some cologne Id never heard of, just because his knowledge generated trust. And he was right, I love the stuff...feel and smell like a Million. Thanks, Justin and Macys. You both get 5 stars.
I did a return; it was very quick and effortless. My cashier had a welcoming smile and a pleasant attitude. They did a GREAT JOB with remodeling. Now, the Brooklyn store is Manhattan CHIC. AND the womans shoe department wasnt a wreck for once.... KUDOS
VERY, very surprising. Its not the Flagship Herald Square Macys (downtown Brooklyn) but every salesperson went above and beyond, and helped me find a gift for ⅓ the $ I was prepared to pay. Worth the subway ride.
I actually went in to use the bathroom that day. Conveniently located in the basement. There was no phone service, though, in the bathroom area.Another day, I had made an online purchase. There is a very convenient pick up counter for orders made online. It saves on shipping! If you can make it there, of course.The staff at the store is extremely helpful and nice, without being overbearing. Just right!Whether its this branch of Macys or another, or online, you can always expect good service.The products can be pricey, but they have good sales and online discounts. The quality of the products is very good to excellent. I recently bought a sleep mask online. I got a nice discount, plus it was a sale item. Its silk and washable. I have bought bras there over the years, and they always have the best brands and great selection of styles, sizes and colors. Plus great sales!Macys definitely gets five stars from me! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟👍😊💕💕💕
This location has all the brands, yet no one to really help at all and all the lines were way too long, so it just didnt seem worth the trouble to buy anything from here. I would rather stick to the Macys on 34th. Its busier yet there are definitely more employees and the wait isnt as long.
This Macys is horrible you will do better going to the 1 in Kings PlazaIts so much better as far as staff and the selections on the floor is 3 times the size then that of fulon st
During the sale, I visited both MACYS stores the one Downtown Brooklyn and the one 34th street. I was looking for a shacket, Macys downtown did not have a lot of sale people but it was still nice to be there mask and all and 34th street took me back a bit to when the store had either a wonderful display or was full of flowers. Oh yeah, I purchased my Shacket!
I hate going inside. I have never had any problems with the employees, but the environment is dreadful. It is always too hot, it smells like 15 different types of perfume/cologne and everything is too bright. Whenever I am there, I walk out with a headache.
Wonderful place to shop for every one husband, wife, kids, mom ,pop, granma, girl friend boy friend.
I love this Macys! I made the trek from Manhattan to BK for this Macys and pleasantly surprised. A normal, affordable, and organized store! Hurrah!Picked up a top and lounge pants for $30! This Macys is by many other affordable shops unlike in Manhattan. TJ Maxx, Old Navy, and Express Outlet are right next door as are other shops. I finally felt not broke and could actually buy what I wanted :)
They want me to review Macys. Its a bit like reviewing Notre Dame or the city of Pompeii: Its as wonderful as it can be but it aint what it used to be! I think that since Lord & Taylors 5th Avenue store closed, nothings what it once used to be...and weary, stale, flat, and unprofitable seem to me all the uses of this world...
I was at Macys to pay a bill and they have renovated the store it is more bright and vibrant. Sort of an art deco design. What is not good about the store is there is only one place where you can pay a bill and do customer returns (See picture below). In the past you could go to any cashier and pay a bill. This make for a much longer wait on line.
I went to Macys last week to buy a crossbody Kipling bag. I was there today and I brought me a Kipling travel overnight bag. That was the last one Im very pleased with that bag. The lady at the cash register was very nice.
I needed to return a item. The transaction was effortless. And I was finished in minutes.
Online order pick up went pretty smooth. Service was fast.
My favourite Macys is that one on Herald square. Compared to flagship this Macys is cery small, assortment is limited, sizes are very limited. I wear XS and hardly could find coat or jacket for me. If you’d like to shop at Macys, I advise to go to Manhattan
Huge store with lots of space to browse and shop. Many discounts and happy customers who are loyal and are frequent. Most staff are pleasant and treat customers well. Macys is like a family. Macys Downtown Brooklyn offers excellent shopping experiences.
This Macys is too small. They gave away some of the selling floor that A&S used to have. I was looking for Charter Club Linen Collection. I can buy it on Macys.com or Macys 34th street. Very disappointing

The plus size section is pretty sparse for a store this large in a big city. I expected much more selection. It also seems to have a less interesting look to our that other Macys shops. The staff was nice though.

Today ( 01/25/2022)I made a purchase of cosmetics( clarins) in this store. was very dissatisfied. consultants impose their help, but they do not understand the goods at all. with me, the consultant began to search Google for information about the cream that I wanted to purchase. I was ridiculous and ashamed for such a seller. at the checkout, paying for the goods, I asked if I could receive a gift with the purchase? but I was refused. At home, opening the package with the purchase, I found that they put me the wrong product. now you have to return. from visiting this store, there were only negative feelings.
I was able to find what I was looking for but too crowded. Waiting over 10 minutes just to get a pair of shoes in my size. Not enough employees to help people

This Macys location is spacious and very clean The staffs are knowledgeable and are willing to assist you always.The fragrance section is one of my favorite department. Ms.Hillary at the Dior counter is very helpful and super professional.
This Macys was recently given a face lift/ remodeling and is really fresh and beautiful. Their stock looked good. The employees were helpful and nice. The womens restroom in basement needs more frequent attention. The building is rollator/walker accessable.
I purchased a pair of Under Armour sneakers online as a gift for my boyfriends birthday. Upon picking up the sneakers at the Downtown Brooklyn Macys store, I meet with Customer Clerk Ms.Heba who got my box which was located in the back area, as she opened up the package box ; where the sneakers were located within.Both Ms. Heba and myself were shocked to observed the condition of the sneaker box . The box was completely duct taped all around in addition to the box having puncture holes and torns surrounding each part of the box inside and out.As opening the shoe box the sneakers were observed crushed no wrapping of the sneaker emblem just placed in total disarray and unpleasant and unpresentableI was so disappointed and disgusted that MACYS would even sell or ship an item in such condition that they did.A true injustice. to the UNDER ARMOUR BRAND.....A Supervisor Manger Ms.Haja was called to discuss the situation as she was unable to rectify the situation. She stated that since the sneakers were bought from online she is unable to do anything and suggested that I contacted Macys online.I immediately returned the sneakers and left as a very unsatisfied customer.To add insult to injury I contacted the online customer support services in which the representative stated that there is nothing he can do for me because the sneakers were returned.MACYS IS THIS THE WAY YOU OPERATE YOUR BUSINESS TO SUCH A LOYAL CUSTOMER AS MYSELF.

Its kinda messy on some floors, Ive seen a man in the ladies dressing room before, lines tend to be long every now and then but this is the Macys in my hometown that Im most familiar with. I suggest traveling to the Macys on 34th Street in Manhattan
Best pricing, but check online cause the prices might vary and show those to manager and get the product for online price. I got a jacket which had mrp $250 and was marked $120 in store, but I got it for $67 since it showed as such online.

Its a department store. They have clothes. Not a lot more to say than that.That said, why do they always put the gross-smelling perfume department on the first floor? It should be on the top floor with an industrial strength ventilation system to suck out the headache-inducing vapors.
I was dreading going to Macys to return an online purchase. I couldnt have been more wrong! My experience was wonderful, the staff at customer service went above and beyond to assist me. Polite, professional and courteous. I returned item for something else and next day got alert for one day sale, so I returned however I misread that it was an online sale. I returned items so I could benefit from the sale with no hassle and again wonderful customer service. What a pleasant surprise Macys downtown location sure has improved for the better, in the past I wouldnt have received this much improved service. Well done Macys, its greatly appreciated.
Ordered online and picked up a few days later at this location, they renovated this spot since last visit. The new renovation allow quick service. location was key being that i was in Brooklyn
I have been shopping at this location for decades. I like the newest remodel. I miss the large selection of handbags that they use to offer. Their shoe selection is still on point too. The store is very clean and there is still a good selection of items. They need more staff on the floors to assist shoppers too.

Recently renovated, the new space is bright, clean, & organized. The fragrance department has a wide selection and was fairly up to date on new releases. The Starbucks was really clean and well designed.

Word to the wise. Early bird gets the package. Meaning less waiting. The system needs a little tweaking. They seem bit more organized when it comes to sorting and retrieval’s. However, the Macy’s rep had to enter Id info by hand because the scanner wouldn’t read the back of our drivers licenses. I love to shop this way tho🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲.

Macys All service department on the first floor use for online pick up, returns and exchange etc. Is poorly arrange and long rediculous lines for these 3 services which makes a people stands on a long line for 30mins to 45mins just to do a return, pick up/ exchange etc. Something needs to be done about it because its a big turn off while other department stores are strategically minimizing this chaos. Department store like Macys does not seen to care about addressing such delays and chaos. B/c of peoples privacy I did not take a picture of the long lines.
Personally, I prefer the old architecture, but it is convenient to have a store downtown. I used to live in Macys, but that was when the quality of the clothing was much better. However, I did recently purchase a chair and ottoman, and this was a good experience. Of course, I wont get it until 2/22, but this is the norm now.
This MACY*S also has LAST ACT super-low clearance areas, but in THIS store, no-one appears to be taking care of them. Boxes & packages opened, many empty, and in the clothing area a messed up, totally disorganized area that discourages browsing.This time the LAST ACT area was cleaned up and organized; it was much improved!

Living in Brooklyn for years and never went to the Fulton Macys mall. I loved it. Not crowded al all. The staff in all departments were very helpful and professional. I feel its best to shop in the morning, but thats me.

I just started doing pick up at any place that offers it ... due to covid I like to be in and out which usually goes as plan at other places but this is my third time doing pick up here at this Macy’s and it takes about 30 minutes just to get my items because they have the pick up and return items on one line .
During the holidays, this place is usually a festive chaotic madhouse. But I have say this time even with all the holiday excitement I was able to get in get what I wanted and get out. The staff seem to handle the holiday rush really well.
While a resident growing up in Brooklyn, I frequented this location. Now that Im all grown up, it seems tiny with very little change. Always good customer service, though.
Not a great selection of women under 30 clothes! I was very disappointed in their offerings at this store, especially in Nyc- Brooklyn. I would have expected much more to choose from for my daughters graduation. The only saving grace was finding 2 pairs of shoes she had been looking for. However the sales women in the shoe Dept were rather short and not very helpful.
Love the curb pick-up option! I ordered on line and my items were delivered to my car. If youre not ready for the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping, this feature is an excellent alternative.

Lots of end of the year sales. Not crowded at 3 pm on a Thursday. Clean bathrooms in the Cellar. Staff was polite and helpful.

Macys was fabulous. I truly enjoyed my walk around the store. I reacquainted myself with the new layout of the store. I was able to keep my distance from other shoppers. I felt safe with the added protection, having received both vaccine shots. The renovation looks very nice. The Sales Rep was very helpful. Its not 34th Street but, still worth a stop in. This is my first time here since renovations have been completed. The store is bright, clean and welcoming. The staff that did assist me were friendly. I was able to find what I was looking for very easily. Would definitely recommend and visit backstage on the 4th floor, really good finds for great prices.

Historic site where for more than 90 years they have contributed to nail decorations in their impressive showcases, look for 34th street in Manhattan you cannot miss it, of course if you are going to look for perfumes and clothes for gifts it is a good option
Went to Macys Brooklyn to pay my bill and I ended up getting a tremendous savings on three pairs of Hanes stockings which bought my total to an unbelievable balance when I applied my Stare awards coupon. Macys is always my go to store. Happy and satisfied experience.
Macys its a huge department store it is the place I go for perfume, jewelry and undergarments and sometimes clothes. but sometimes I feel like theyre over priced its as if youre paying for the name not the items I also have problem with some of the quality of their products.
Always a pleasure to shop there. And the plus is having a Starbucks on the premises.

Worst Macys ever. Attempt to pick up an online order and get no response when you call the number for pick up. Then, they mark the order picked up instead of cancelling. Had to file dispute with credit card company to get order cancelled. Ghetto.

I stopped by Macys located on Fulton Street in Brooklyn, NYC to take advantage of the Beauty Sale.I was serviced by Nicole, fragrance vendor and Poula. Two of the nicest associates at the Gucci and Chole boutique.We connected right away and everything thereafter, in relation to closing a fragrance was equally wonderful and memorable ❤️ .I look forward to my next visit on the Fall for just the right new fragrance for the new moon arrives, giving rise to seasonal crisp and nicely chilled weather.Thank you, again ladies and take special care.

Shopped in womens shoes with my sister and the associates were abundant and very helpful. The store has been remodeled and looks nice, but a few spots are still being renovated. The store is so nice, bright and clean! The remodel looks very nice. The exterior remodel as well is nice. I like coming here because of the selection and varying sizes. This is the downtown Brooklyn location on Fulton Street at around 6:45pm.

Purchased perfume at the center of 1st floor, the counter where they have Chanel, YSL, Dior, etc. When I checked out with a gift card, the unprofessional cashier failed to apply the card. She yelled at me and rejected me to use the card. However, when the card went through with my guidance, she was like ok and refused to apologize for her previous behavior. Definitely would not go there again. Please try not to hire whoever submitted their resumes, if they were clever enough to make one though.
Crowded of course. For my opinion doesnt really have loads of clothing choices. Again this is my opinion. I so think they have good clothes but its not my liking. Anyways, around the time I got there there wasnt many people at the cash register, but the people who were still there were very nice with small talk. Nice people overall. Good Store.
It was nice, clean and just the right amount of people in the store. So they are doing a great job to make sure they are following the covid 19 rules to make sure the customers can still shop in a safe environment. So yeah they get TWO thumbs up from me.

Havent been to Macys in a few years I really feel they need more people working at the registers on the floor. When youre shopping you dont see any sales associates which I think is very strange and when you go to the register theres only two people working the register and the line was very long.

Purchased a pack of mens black t shirts size small..the pack only had three...the fourth one was some and now then shirt🤔..next time I must look through the pack before purchasing it..will come back with a pic when I hit back home.

My visit was just to pick up my online purchase. Wasnt too bad but there should be signs showing where to go to get online pick ups. And a little heads up to anyone who purchase jewelry online to pick up in the store, just know youll have to go to the Jewelry section to pick up your order. BEWARE
Nice store in downtown Brooklyn. Not a lot of people. Very good deals and a lot of options. Associates in the womens shoes area werent very nice.
Workers were very friendly.Perfume counter (YSL) person was extremely helpful.
Went to the MAC counter and treated myself to lip gloss and lip pencils. Very cordial and patient customer service rep helped me and a friend.

I love Macys but this one here you cant really find anything you like I suggest to take a ride up to 34th street there you will find a wide variety of clothing that hasnt been stepped on.
I love this location because they now have Backstage on the 4th floor with the sale items. Ive found so many quality items for a deeply discounted price.
I love that I have Macys so close to home and I love that they have renovated the entire store and it looks amazing. My only complaint is that the selection of clothing and shoes are outdated and ugly. Some of their floors are NOT maintained very well, I went to buy my husband a shirt and they had a table filled clothing just thrown there..some areas had clothes just thrown on the floor and it looked a mess. I will always be a customer but wish my experience was better.
Not a big selection like 34th street Macys but I was able to purchase a mattress from Henry. He was helpful but he was the only salesperson on the floor and he wasnt able to give his undivided attention.But I am happy with my purchase just waiting for my delivery.

The womens dept only had two open registers, at 8:30. The register nearest Calvin Klien/Ralph lauren section had an employee who walked away as I was approaching to cash out my items. I walked over to the Levi section, an older woman with multi color hair assisted me. She was courteous and apologized for the issue and rang up my purchase immediately. The store had a variety of designers but the selling floor was a mess. The Last Act section was worse. I wont be back to this location.
My visit yesterday and today was great, social distancing is being practiced and enforced. I went to the shoe department and Denieze was friendly, polite and very helpful. My mom, sister and I tried about 15 shoes and she made me feel very comfortable. We did buy 5 pairs 😁. Also, cleaning after each customer was being done in the shoe department, I loved this.
Nice plenty room to move around with 3 kids in tow and a Starbucks for the break HA
I love shopping at Macys. Some of the nicest clothes that I have I bought there. I recently bought 2 Michael Kors topcoats there. They are classy and debonair.👍 My favorite colognes are LHomme from Yves Saint Laurent, Polo Blue, and Eternity Aqua. What I enjoy most about the holidays is that, they offer the largest sizes with a gift bag. I look forward to shopping there this week. Thats definitely something very appealing.😏

I had to ask the Cashier in home/furniture could I make my purchase after he finished with a gentleman in front of me. He should have been asking me instead of trying to run away. I did not appreciate that I was next in the line. He acted as if I was invisible, not kool. This was on 6/11/21
Store is clean, brightly lit went to the kitchen items looking for a hot plate or something similar since a gas line issue will leave us without a stove for 8 to 10 weeksSelection is terrible, mostly full of ninja products other items (few) were not in stock. Really would never return for kitchen items
Shopping at ease. Basic goods are available at moderate prices to fit your budget. Lots of designer wears and shies for every member of the family.
1st off there was no one around to help you, I think 1 register open on the entire floor. And the one person that was on the floor was NOT helpful. Macys redesign the store I guess to be more modern but customer service did not improve
Wonderful experience on the 4th floor shopping for sweatsuits and sweaters today a young lady helped me pick out something very comfortable I forget her name but she is nice excellent worker and clean store nobody in bathroom

My visit to this Macys to purchase a Christmas gift for the lady. I knew I wanted perfume for the lady so I went to the section that sells CD. The woman that was helping me was named Helen I believe. Helen was so friendly and helpful with making me a decision. Helen went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. She allowed me to smell a lot of samples for the latest and the oldest perfumes they had to offer. Helen had her own recommendations and outta all of the perfumes she allowed me to smell and sample she was very patient and informative about what she feels is the best and and what was reasonable if I was working with a budget. I was able to decide and she even took her time to gift wrap it for me. If any women or men want to purchase quality perfume for who ever special in their life. Go to Helen at the CD section. U will not regret it.

Renovations have it a great facelift. Very neat and organized. Extremely slow customer service. Cashiers are talking with other workers and not moving the long lines along. Wait time for two customers on line is 15-20 minutes. Hopefully they can hire more Reps.
Went there today, bought a pair of Levis black Cargo shorts orig. $50 @ 40% off paid $29.99. Macys downtown Bklyn is nice, but they need more workers. There were only two cashiers available @ the time for that entire mens dept which is on one floor-2nd. Herald Square Macys will always be my favorite Macys because its the flagship store, but because I live in the vicinity of the Bklyn Macys it was convenient
As usual Macys did not disappoint I was there to help a friend out to find an outfit , and I was quite surprised to see that they did have a good amount of Plus Sizes available thank you Macys! And the best part of the plus sizes it was a whole section with beautiful items to make you feel special and appreciate it so again thank you Macys. Brooklyn, NY, I also love the new look of the store.
I used to shop at this location all the time when I was in high school & college. Last week I went for the first time in 10 years, and I was amazed. When I walked in, I thought I was at Herald Square. I really like how they renovated. The store is so bright and the displays are on point. The customer service was great, as usual.

2022-02-15Who knew Macys had so much furniture and home goods? Most people, it seems, besides me. Here its down at the basement level. Colognes, perfumes, jewelry, etc. is on the first floor. Mens wear and mens shoes are on the second Floor. Ladies wear is on three, and childrens is on 4. This store is in Brooklyn, on Fulton Street, and a very short walk from the 5 Train stop at Burroughs Hall. The 2 & 3 Trains are even closer, but take the Hoyt Street stop, not Fulton. (That Fulton street stop is still Manhattan) But the Hoyt Street stop in Brooklyn lets you off just a 1 minute walk away. The A & C trains, and the F & G trains are all less than 5 minute walk from either Jay Street Metrotech stop, or Hoyt Street. Great store. Great location. Super smart, super hot sales staff selling cologne and perfume. And Ive never smelled better. ;)~

2022-05-01This store is very clean and everyone is super helpful and willing to help out. What I dont like however are the fitting rooms on the second floor. They are very poorly maintained. Some of the doors there have broken locks. Some dont even have a door, rendering those rooms unusable. The rooms that were usable also had an unpleasant smell.

2022-04-30This location has been renovated, so its pleasing to the eye but the prices have definitely increased since the pandemic. Even some of their deals arent really great. But the online pickup process was pretty smooth and the staff was very friendly. I was completely turned off by the fact that you have to pay for the bag they bring your things out in. Really Macys you are a large chain and I made a purchase. Even the Bodega gives you free bags.

2022-05-16Love shopping at Macys downtown Brooklyn. Picked up another couple of pair of chino XXL ez taper pants and they were on sale, perfect timing. I paid $70 for the last pairs I bought and I purchased these two for $48.95 each.The cashier was cool also and I just stopped by to see if they had any more pants in my size.Picked up two new colors 😁, I didnt have before. New pants with tags in picture.Now, I just picked up 2 more black pairs, 1 brown and a Tweed black n white pair. These pants are comfortably the bomb. One group of pants for just work and the other socially.

2022-05-09They have a pretty good selection of items, but wish they were more affordable. Even their sale prices arent all that great, but it is what it is.Something worth noting is that they need to get security guards closer to the entrances/exits though because I have visited this particular Macys many times, but the last two times I went, there has been an instance with a random homeless/mentally ill person just walking through the store and yelling incoherently. I see this as a safety issue that should be dealt with. At the very least, its a major disturbance to shoppers that should be taken care of and from what Ive seen so far, it hasnt been.
