My wife and I were running aroumd all day yesterday looking for a dining room set in route 110 in Farmingdale and was treated very badly in the other stores by a bunch of hungry salesman looking for a sale. So my wife and I went to macys clearance furniture in carle place and was greeted by a salesman by the name of Yanni, and Yanni gave me and my wife full 100% attention and was on point with the prices and delivery charges and also the schedule on delivery and he was very patient with us and very kind and understandable. Yanni gave us a great experience in the store and didnt take up all our time and the transaction went smoothly. I highly reccomend macys furniture in carle place and to talk to yanni if you ever need service. Also Im gonna buy some of macys stocks as well. You guys are doing great in the market.
Warranty service is HORRIBLE! They are supposed to cover everything. Good luck in getting them to pay on a claim. A technician came to my house in August, part finally arrived last week after many calls and the run around from customer service. A technician was supposed to come and install the new part on 11/16 and he never showed up. Warranty customer service does not answer calls and does not call back.I WILL NEVER BUY FURNITURE FROM MACYS AGAIN!
This place is awesome! Great place to buy starter furniture. The floor models are so much cheaper and most of the stuff has very little to no damage. They have hundreds of carpets. Really great staff in mattress department that knew his stuff. I dont remember his name but his two sons play baseball. He was so helpful with finding the right bed and bed frame to go with it.
Store has good selection and the representative we purchased from was amazing. However our delivery experience was awful! Our couch arrived stained and damaged. I complained to customer service and they sent someone to assess it, all he did was clean the stain (barely) and they refuse to replace the damaged piece! Ive been trying to contact a human being at Macys for weeks now and it is such a jerk around hassle! I emailed with photos several times and called every phone number possible. This is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. We paid a lot of money for this furniture and its damaged and Macys will not replace it!! Im very dissatisfied.I would give one star based on delivery and customer service, but I gave 3 stars for the beautiful couch itselfaitself the woman who helped us with out purchase at the store.SinceMSince did not resolve the damage that occurred at delivery I will NEVER order from Macys again!
Went to get a headboard for my guest room at the clearance center during the Presidents day sale 3 days in a row had to leave because they were so busy and there was one particular rep a cahier to be exact whom I would ask questions and she would give me the biggest attitude which was a turn off for me. However I went back because sale was still on but by this time what i needed was sold out and so I just picked whatever I needed up with the same young lady with the biggest attitude towards me again for no apparent reason. This made me leave the item in the store because now Im contemplating returning it. Im very big on customer service and this worker had none.
Would not recommend this store. First off, walked around the store for 20 minutes looking for a specific couch in which nobody would help me. I passed employees who were actually sitting down on the couches purposely ignoring me. Weird but ok. I found the couch (which was everything I wanted) and it was perfect. Then I spent 10 more minutes trying to find a salesperson to help me buy the couch. As I was walking out someone finally asked if I needed help. Tom was very helpful and actually ordered the couch for me swapping out a regular piece for a reclining piece. Awesome. He did warn me that there was going to be a one month delay in shipping. No problem I thought. The next day I get an email from Macy’s saying that my couch wouldn’t be in until October 20, 2020… i had ordered the couch on June 16, 2020. Spoke to multiple representatives who completely blew me off. The shipping alone was $200. They offered me $50 off of the $2500 couch for the delay. In the end they offered me $150 off because I was sold a couch that wasn’t even available. Honestly I then went to the Raymour and Flanigan Clearance Outlet and bought a similar couch (sans extra recliner) for $1100. I saw bad reviews and thought that they were lies… they weren’t. Unless it’s the clearance section in the back where you can walk out of the store with the furniture; don’t waste your time, effort, energy or money at this place.
Very disappointed. We visited hoping to see a formal dining room set we could buy today however the customer service was absolutely terrible. No one greeted us or asked if we needed help. We tried to look around ourselves passed quite a few people, who were definitely and obviously unoccupied, yet no one acknowledged us. Im not sure if it was the way we were dressed or something else, perhaps because of online purchasing the sales representatives no longer feel they have to give their best. The unwelcome atmosphere made us leave, not even wanting to give them patronage if we did see something we like for our home.
Great variety, good customer service but sometimes I felt like the place was so large we had to go call someone even if we had one question and sometimes they would say you would have to look in the web !!Well if I had to look on the web, why did I come here? Right? If I start buying everything on the web, who will finance your salary me sales associate ?Wouldn’t go again to shop maybe just to finalize an order but not to browse
Nice showroom. We werent ready to make our purchase quite so hastily and the living room set was only on sale that weekend. The salesman wouldnt offer any concessions, but the manager worked with us to put down a deposit and then pay in full later that week. Delivery was flawless and so far the new furniture has been more than satisfactory.
I have gone here since the 80s when I got the first couch for my first apartment. There is always good quality furniture and the sale prices range from good to great. We almost got a leather loveseat from here this time(and here I knew it would be real leather) but it didnt work out. The saleswoman was fantastic in showing us a piece that we were interested in, very patient and accommodating in finding a cord that was missing for the electric recliner element. Its always worth a shot to go there.
They have a nice selection. But the sales associates are pushy. I don’t like having someone hover over me while I’m shopping. I bought a living room set from Macy’s a couple of years ago. I also purchased that cleaning warranty. The one time I called to have someone come over and clean it was such a fail. I made the call to the Macy’s customer service number. They said to call a local cleaning company and gave me the number. I called the cleaning company ... they said it would take about 3weeks to have someone come and inspect the stain. When the guy finally comes he takes one look at the stain and says “ this can’t be cleaned, it should’ve been cleaned within 2 weeks of the stain happening” and then he just walked out !!! What a waste of time and money. There was no point in paying hundreds of dollars for that cleaning warranty.
I love Macys Furniture Gallery. During this trip we purchased two beautiful lamps that were significantly marked down at 2 for $55. They had a mid century modern vibe. I will visit again soon as I am looking to mix and match two dining chairs to add to the four I already have.
Awful experience, was told 8-10 weeks for delivery on a sectional by the salesman. When we called customer service to check on delivery they told us it wasn’t going to be delivered for close to 16 weeks... When I called to speak with the salesman we worked with he offered no assistance and just kept telling me how there was nothing he could do. We ordered all our other furniture from Raymour and Flanigan, it was delivered 3 days later and the sales person was nothing but professional and willing to work to get us exactly what we needed. I strongly suggest not buying furniture from Macy’s, it was an absolute disappointment and some of the worst customer service I have ever dealt with ...
The absolute worst experience. Ordered furniture in December of 2018, I have yet to receive it. Sales staff tells you what you want to hear, does not follow up, and do not live up to their word. There is no way to track the furniture or delivery in their ancient system. I would recommend shopping anywhere else to avoid the aggravation
Monte Rosen in Carle Place is the man to buy your furniture from!!! I had a credit replacement for an extended warranty. All the other salespeople ran for cover , not wanting to get involved. Monte stepped up and quickly handled it. I will certainly purchase anything further from him. Excellent customer service from Mr Rosen
Nice selection, very disappointed with the way they force you to get their delivery service. Our sales person said we dont force you to pay for delivery but if you dont want it you cant get it, there is No pick up .... Funny how the guy realized what he was saying is bs.So, if you are looking to buy here, understand that the moment you walk through those doors, you are automatically being charged a $200 delivery fee.
First time visited this place with a friend who wanted to buy a leather sofa set .was looking for a drawer .new are very expensive for a dialysis patient on limited income .offer up and let go have used one but nothing cheaper than $40 bucks .here at this Macy furniture find this for just $41.the lady on the cash register was very kind and helpful I believe her name is Sharon .one other gentleman who was also a employee also very helpful .after this we went to some other stores including castco .the prices at this place for quality stuff were good at discounted stuffWorth to visit once or twice a week for bargain hunters

Awful service. Came in looking for 3 different rugs for our home and asked one woman to help us and she said it wasnt her section, waited a half hour and walked around to find someone to help us purchase rugs but still got no service! Ended up walking out and not buying anything because we couldnt!..very disappointed.
I shopped in the Clearance War5ehiuse. The store is filled with deals and sales, but the customer service is lacking. With no one on the floor to help answer questions or privide insight as to where articles are stocked its becomes exhausting and makes the shopping experience difficult. But they certainly deliver on bargain.
Full details below, but in short, Bud is not fit to be a manger for Macys as he yells and screams at customers and speaks in a disrespectful manner. And be careful when you buy products and expect to pick them up with the 48 hour window they give you because it may not be there when you go to pick it up again. It may be sold to someone else at a higher price (as they have a dummy SKU they use when the tag has been removed from the product as they do not keep track of inventory sold)I paid in full and bought a mattress on 3/22/18, however I did not have a large vehicle to take it back with me that same night. I was told by the sales rep that they would be able to hold it for me for 48 hours, before they refund the money if I do not come to pick it up. The sales rep removed the price tag from the item and put a sold sign on it. So I came back on 3/23/18 to pick it up but they mattress was not there. I was informed someone had sold it earlier in the day despite it already being sold. With this being a Clearance center they did not have another piece to give me. I was asked to come back the following day (3/24/18) to speak to a manager. I came back but the manager was not there. I was told he starts working at 12:30 PM but he was late and arrived around 12:45 PM. And this is where the experience went from bad to horrible. The Clearance Center store manager, Bud Langway (May have misspelled his last name) was extremely rude and disrespectful. He started shouting and yelling at me telling me this happens some times. He offered me 3 options, find a larger size mattress and he can adjust the price on that (this isnt a viable option as I only have space for a full size mattress), wait until another shipment comes (but they receive limited supplies of Full size mattresses - so it could come on the next shipment or can take months. There is no way to know how long I need to wait and then he would ship it to me but that would take an additional 10 days) and the last option was he would discount some other mattress he has in store. He asked me how much I would be willing to pay for the mattress available which was of lesser quality. And he laughed and said Oh let me guess you want it for free and I said no that is not realistic and offered a discount. I calculated the % discount i received from the original mattress and requested the same discount on this mattress. He started yelling at me and said I am insulting Macys for asking for a discount like that. Where as in reality he was insulting Macys by saying it happens when they sell items to customers and then sell it to others when they come in within the allotted 48 hours. They are supposed to move them to the back to hold, but did not do that either. Bud kept yelling at me as if I was a child and a condescending manner. There were many unbiased customers there as witnesses. He walked away and later a sales rep (Don) came and offered to discount the only other Full Size mattress to the price I had calculated based on the % discount of the initial mattress from its original price. He apologized for what transpired. As I was exiting the store MULTIPLE employees apologized on behalf of their manager Bud, on behalf of Macys for what happened, for Bud raising his voice and handling this in a very unprofessional manner. One of the reps there said im sorry bro for what happened and Buds unprofessionalism, that is not how to treat or speak to a customer. It was very uncalled for and not cool of him. Bud is not fit to be a manager as he does not know how to speak to customers and resorts to yelling and screaming. I have multiple unbiased witness that can attest to this and attest to the fact I never raised my voice. I did clearly indicate to Bud, I am not his child and he should not be raising his voice with me. He was very disrespectful and unprofessional.

2021-10-27Got a new mattress here. Salesperson was very helpful and patient. Did not try to sell us above our budget, and explained the differences between different manufacturers and lines. Also offered suggestions to try to find a mattress that would work for both me (big guy) and my petite spouse. Very glad we came here.

2021-12-30Y designing and picking out my dream cloud couch pre-pandemic during the Black Friday Sale event and he was so patient and without his expertise/swatches to feel out in the different lighting offsetting the couch/wall color…I probably would’ve waited 3 months for something unreasonable if he didn’t leave me with the floor color that was in stock ready to go! You’re heaven!!I always refer him forward as he is off Monday and Friday. My fellow healthcare works currently are all excited to find pieces as well.My boyfriend had an awful encounter with Nick T. as he was trying also to feel out what would be best for his room. There was no patience and a huge attitude. The order was cancelled and Manager Diana was very sweet about clarifying everything. THANK YOU sincerely!I cannot wait to make a proper date with Monte for more pieces! You are the best of the best! Hope you’re all staying safe and if you ever need a hospice/palliative nurse..or anything healthcare wise..I am forever indebted for your genuine care. ✨✨🙏🏽

2021-10-15I ordered bedroom furniture in February 2021. I was told it would be delivered in May. In May, it was delayed until June. In June, it was delayed until October. Now, in October, it’s been delayed until January 2022.I no longer trust this company. I shouldn’t have to wait a year for bedroom furniture. They are dishonest about their shipping times. I’ve been living out of boxes for no reason for 8 months when I could have shopped elsewhere. Save yourself a headache, go somewhere else.

2021-09-13BEWARE, dont buy Macys furniture. The merchandise in the store is worse and so expensive. You will find the same types of furniture in the local store for a lowest price. They will try to sell you a warranty but be sure you dont buy it from them. When you purchase your furniture from them, you will deal with three companies or sub-contract working with Macys. 1) Macys 2) White gloves 3)Worry-free warranty ( if you purchase warranty). If you need any service from any of these companies, you see that they try to transfer you to another company. Not even one of them tries to solve your problem(especially the warranty company, other than the name in case you need them you will get a headache and much worry).

2021-01-31In the search of the perfect sectional my quest began here. Upon entering the store I was greeted by Marcia. She was extremely knowledgeable but just as important, personable and patient. While I did my due diligence and checked out about another ten store, none of the other sales associates came close to the passion and understanding that Marcia had. And for the most part, the quality also couldnt compare. So if youre shopping for furniture let Marcia assist you in finding the perfect piece. They also have a clearance area in the back of the store, where prices a marked down to sell.

2020-09-25Customer service is the worst. The products are good but god help you if you ever need help with something. They had an issue drawing money from my card, and didnt let me know until the last minute (1 month later). They made me go through so many hoops, the representative was rude with long pauses making the conversation awkward, and did not want to be there at all. He event argued with me. The representatives name was Charles btw.If you care about great customer service dont buy Macys furniture. If you only care about a decent product (but with horrible service) then shop at your risk.

2021-04-19Absolutely horrible dealing with Macy’s do not buy anything from here. We purchased a couch in February with a citi card. A week before the couch is to be delivered Macy’s calls and states they are not accepting any Citi cards because it doesn’t work with their system and we would need to open a Macy’s card. Absolute scam. They then told us we had to wait over a month for the couch if we wanted to use a different card. I tried to contact a manager multiple times and received no phone call back. The sales associate who I purchased the couch from never even called us to let us know the couch was available.
