Macys in other cities:
No help around. 1 register open. Bathrooms filthy. Wanted to exchange two brand new items still in the packaging that were sent to me but were told that it was over 90 days so nothing could be done. Used to be that you could return an unopened never opened item within 6 months. And today trying to get customer service on the phone was useless
This past weekend visited with my mom. She purchased several items frm the last call section or whatever the clearance section is called. One of the items was a Vince Camuto sweater that was marked down to $13. The sales rep proceeded to scrap and remove the top layer sticker in front of us then said it actually costs $20+. I told her we no longer want it. If my mom wasnt present I would have asked for a manager to explain her actions but it was late in the evening . MANAGEMENT PLS LOOK INTO WHY THIS ASSOCIATE TOOK OFF THE STICKER TO ATTEMPT TO CHARGE MORE. I speculate she wanted the sweater for herself
I shopped at the Pandora inside of the Macys, and the associate Kyla helped me out. She was so kind & helpful. She was patient as I decided which item I wanted and helped me make the perfect choice. She helped make my shopping experience more pleasant! Thank you Kyla!
Went shopping at Macys and was very dissapointed as there wasnt much selections to choose from. I purchased items in three departments and had to stand on line for 1/2 hour each for 2 and the last one over an hour. There were only 2 register opened with a long line and after almost an hour and almost to the register the cashier told the ones with a combo of toy and clothes that we could only go to one cash register for those purchases. After that I just left the store and brought gift cards elsewhere. This is not the first time there has been a long wait. I have shopped a few times within the past months when it is not a holiday and it has been the same issue. Just saddened as it use to be my go to for shopping.
I only like the customer service of Natalie in the Chanel makeup section and Abraham who was selling fragrances. It was my first time in that Macys. I went to return an item and ended up buying something else which was my gain, I love the product Natalie sold to me. The item I returned showed me a receipt that it was returned and there was a minus in my card but in my bank account there was a purchase of the item to be returned which was frustrating because I had to call Macys and wait 1 hour on the phone when the IVR said only 30 minutes. :-/
I have been a long time customer of Macys just like my mom was. There are certain brands of clothing more specifically jeans that are consistent with their size range I know that I can go there and pick a particular size off the rack and it will fit me perfect.Spent a lot of time at the perfume counter too, The staff were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable with the latest fragrances. Took advantage of their coupons which was nice. Roosevelt Field Mall location.
I loved Macys at some point in my life. As the years have gone by I try my best to no other actually go to Macys but to shop online. I decided to go and use a gift card that I had for some time. I picked out 5 items for work from the JM Collection. 3 tops & two bottoms.I went to one register with two cashiers. I was third in line :) after ten minutes with no movement I and several other people in line wondered why the two people in front of me didnt leave yet. Finally a cashier says they are both waiting for a manager. Next line also waiting for a manager. Third line waiting for a manager but a smart cashier who continues to take customers while waiting for a manager. There would have been a 4 line but I opted from leaving the 3rd line to walk across the store to line 4 for a eager cashier who apparently had an empty register. Unfortunately there was no order so I wasnt going to walk and be on the back of the line. So long story short, I spent more time online than picking out clothes. This is why I do not like shopping inside of Macys. Just order online folks.
This is only for the womens dress department on the 3rd floor. This department is a joke. The entire floor was a mess and looked like a clearance department. Worse than any Marshalls at the end of a bad day. The sales floor had only one person trying to help, which he did. The cashiers and fitting room attendant are super sweet. Not what Macys used to be. Best to shop online or elsewhere in another brick and mortar store.
I went to Chanel and bought a foundation and I asked if they had any samples and the salesperson named Rosa said you told me you had many creams at home so why do you need samples? She wanted to sell me some cream and I said I didn’t need any bc I had plenty. That’s the most ridiculous things to say to a customer. I told her any samples, doesn’t have to be a cream. She needs to learn how to treat better customers.
Great customer service. I met Meri (I believe that was his name tag) from men suit and he was a cashier. He also helped me to pick the right suit and spend his time to make sure I was happy. I honestly cant ask for better service. Thank you buddy and I hope your management appreciate your hard working and definitely will ask for you again in the coming future.
Macys was good. This was the Roosevelt Field mall location at around 7:45 pm. The selection in both the womens handbags and shoes was good as usual. Both departments are big and floor associates were plentiful in both departments to assist customers, especially since it was more busy than usual, I suppose because of Valentines day the next day. This location is almost always a pleasure to shop at, partly because it is a big store with good variety, selections, sizes and customer service. I spent most of my time in the shoe department and the selection/sizes did not disappoint! The sales associates were on point in helping customers, all the while cleaning up as they went along. Definitely a good go-to place.
I would like to give 4.5 stars bc store was Super crowded and under staffed, but their customer service is amazing and pick up phone right away. I had a problem with my order and 1 item didnt arrive. Called, barely waited a minute to get a rep and they fixed it . Tried to go to store to find it the item that was missing but unsuccessful.
Do not buy jewelry from here nor their protection plan!! I went in for my engagement ring to be repaired the middle of September because the center stone fell out - when it was returned 2 weeks later it wasn’t finished with cleaning - stones had a dark/almost black background. Ring sent back for cleaning to be finished - ring returned after another two weeks and still darkness around the stones and NOW 3 stones were brown, including my center stone. (I found out from a jeweler that means the diamonds were burnt!!) It’s now been a week & I was told I’d hear from someone yesterday - when I called they stated one of two managers had an emergency…guess that means the whole department stops working or is incompetent with following up with their customers. I will now have to wait another week or two for my ring to be returned & will be leaving with it no matter the condition. I will never come back here again, even if my life depended on it.
Unfortunately because of some unprofessional staff big business losing their businesses I visited Macys in garden city for return Manager Alicia was very rude and unprofessional I had to return a toy was worth $20 she offered me a $10 return value according to her they will send me a certificate in the mail....are you kidding me after half conversation all that I took back my return and put it in donation box in church. I bought $250 watch that day but I returned it because I dont want to spend a dollar where people dont respect other people. Specially when you are not the race.
It was terrible, clothes all over the place including mostly on the floor. Passing thru the mens department the music was so loud it was deafening and the stench of cologne gave me a headache. I have always been a Macys customer as was my mother before me. We considered it a pleasure to shop there but my days of spending my money there are over. Lower the damn music it is not a Saturday night in a bar or disco and pick up the clothes
This is one of the best Macys Dept stores that Ive visited over the last few decades not only because I grew up in the area (I dont live there anymore) but also because it stays updated and fresh because of its posh location inside the Roosevelt Field Mall which is one of the top indoor malls in the country. Because of this, it also has a larger selection of merchandise than other locations Ive visited over time. I highly recommend shopping here if you can afford it or you have a Macys card and can get the crazy discounts & rewards they offer with the card &/or for being a Macys frequent shopper reward member!
Sherron in the home department was superb! She neatly folded every item, inspected for any loose threads, and carefully wrapped the fragile items! She was the best!! She took her time in ensuring all items purchased were in perfect condition! By far the best service I’ve ever received at Macy’s ever!!! Give Sherron a promotion!! She’s amazing!!!!
I love Macy’s but I stopped shopping at the Roosevelt field mall location. The cashiers on every floor are entirely too slow. I came here today to buy a shirt and I remembered why I don’t come here anymore. I waited on the line for about 30 minutes and there was only 1 person in front on me. Need new cashiers.
This location was highly exceptional, but I am disappointed how disorganized the store has become. It is a waste of time shopping in the store with clothing dumped in the wrong section, no assistance to find what you need, and not enough registers to checkout. Youre better off shopping online than in-store.
Awful, very few staff, could hardly find anyone, stock is crammed onto racks so you cant pull things out. Nothing is sorted by size just all clumped together. Worst ever visit and we were ready to buy. Movingng onto its competitors, even even with their coupon offerings.
Well, I shopped, found the item I was looking for and got on line to check out. Up until this point things were going great. I found the register that was open on the floor. The cashier was helping an older gentleman. There was 1 woman and her daughter in front of me. There was clearly a problem with the gentlemans purchase, however either he didnt understand the cashier or the cashier wasnt clear about the problem. We were there for a while and Im not sure what the problem was. 2 other people got online behind me. The cashier did not call for assistance, seeing that her customer required extra time. I stood on line for about 10 more minutes. The situation remained exactly the same. I put down my purchase, ordered it on Amazon for (half the price) and left the store. My purchase will be delivered tomorrow.
William in men’s shoe department is amazing. Although, there weren’t many choices left for young men’s boots, William went above and beyond to help me find something for my 16 yr. old son, for Christmas. It was a crowded Saturday night, but he was kind and courteous. 4 stars because of limited choices... most boots were sizes 13-15, or no stock.
This was the Roosevelt Field mall location at around 7:10 pm. The womens shoe department was steady in its stream of customers, not busy, but steady. Lissette and Christine were women who both showed exemplary customer service. They were patient, kind, helpful, friendly AND courteous! They are without a doubt an asset to the Macys franchise! I was able to get every shoe I inquired about and every shoe on my list on my Macys app. This pleased me tremendously, because I was able to see the shoes in person, try them on and see how they felt walking around in. There was also a nice selection/inventory of styles to choose from in the clearance/last act section. This store is no where close to my home, but I took the ride out there purposely because Ive had a similar experience there on other occasions. The last act section was a hot mess, but the associates were on top of it when it came closer to closing. I left there about 8:15, and by the look of the whole shoe department, you wouldve never known it was in somewhat of a disarray.V
Awesome experience, went in to buy a suit with a specific style and color, but had no idea what my size was. John Murray greeted us when we arrived, and immediately knew my size. I tried on the suit he got for me and it was a perfect fit! I have no idea how he eyeballed my size so well just from me walking in, but he couldnt have made the experience easier, and was also super nice. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Would 100% recommend.
Store is clean and extremely well lit. I went in for 2 items that were found online. Two associates looked extensively for a jewelry item and adjusted the price when it came up incorrectly. The Clinique item I found myself and was checked out and on my way In minutes.
I didnt get Macys in Roosevelt Field until 8:30. I was unaware since NY is open to full capacity they would still have Covid hours and close at 9 pm. Which is disgraceful. I can only speak on the mens department -- the clothes were neat and clean. Only one dressing room open though. The store was empty with no people shopping. Ill look for other stores that went back to regular shopping hours though for future shopping.
Great staff. The cashier was really on point with knowing what was on sale or not on sale. She also corrected an error after all transactions were done. I thought it would take a while to correct but it was done quickly and efficiently. On top of that, I got some great bargains.
I made two purchases last night at around 5 the cashier at the womens Department write me up but fails to give me all the best options for my discounts with my Macys coupons. At around 6 50 pm I was making a second purchase, there was only one register open in the whole second floor in the womens Department. This time that cashier was very nice and he informed me of how to best utilize the coupons but it was too late because my previous purchase was already made so I must have lost at least $50 worth of savings. very disappointed from my first purchase. the second and the third cashier were very nice and helpful. But I was not able to get my savings back.
There really needs to be a 0 & less rating, but unfortunately I need to give them a 1. Placed an online order & before I hit the button I made sure everything would be available because I was driving a long way (which it was). The worst part should have been finding a parking spot, but EVERY associate I dealt with was rude, condescending, disrespectful, & ungrateful. None of them understands the ONLY reason they have jobs is because of the people coming into their store & that WE are the ones paying their salaries. Worse yet they rely on commission so I at least am satisfied I took that 💰 of their pockets when I told them to return everything.
Im very much dissapointed with Macy’s experience this time. This I’m talking about 02/13/2021 when I went to get the dresses at the top floor wherein we were at the line at 8:40pm and the store was about to close so we were rushing but the associate who was ringing us. Don’t know if she was under training or what but when she rang one of my relative first cause she had 6-7 dresses we didnt notice she is scanning it wrong until I rang my clothes and saw my dresses were also being charged overpriced and told her that dress is for $19.92 but she was scanning it 34 some dollars then that thing clicked my mind and I asked my relative to check her order to cause she had those LAST ACT dresses which she scanned for 34 too wherein It should be for 19.92 then after completing my order I asked her to reverse the transaction and ring it back again but then she reversed 4 dresses first and then she is like rest 3 dresses she’ll do it in next transaction which I definitely I didn’t get it and we were so confused. As the total of her dresses were 372 something after she revered 4 dresses first everything got messed up. Also keeping in mind it was past 9pm when the Mall gets close. I asked her to call the manager and to change the price of the dresses she overpriced. She was not answering me but doing what she was supposed to do. She was scanning the price of the dress which we never bought. One of the dress we wanted to buy which actually my relative loved it that dress didnt had a code to scan which she previously scanned and processed now refused to process saying we cannot scan this product now cause it doesnt have a barcode I argues with the manager then how come the associate previously charged her and now she is refusing. So both the manager and associate was misbehaving and refusing to give that dress and repetitively saying that the store is closed we cannot do anything and what not and later they never even escort us as the Macys and the mall was closed we were locked inside and security guard came and ask us to walk all the way towards the other direction cause all the sides were closed and it was raining outside and we had so many bags and 3 ladies together walked from macys parking to all the way purple parking lot. I need the answer from the Macy’s management team for this. Otherwise its gonna be a big issue.
This Macys is located in the Roosevelt Field Shopping Mall ,The Field. The store contains the items wanted for all shoppers from working to wealthy. The displays are well done and the Store flow is excellent for quick Stress Free shopping. The lines are never too long and the Staff is always ready to assist any way they can. When you complete the bulk of your Shopping take a Wander through The Iskands Largest Most Exclusive Shopping Mall. Remember to stop at the big beautiful New Food Court.Just Go!!
What can you or I say? Macys has something for almost everyone. Good selection, fair prices - better on sales events. Clean and generally well organized. They need in-store directories to tell you where things are. Most mens clothes now however are geared to the skinny boys of today. Real men need to shop in stores that carry clothes for men. The athletic cut clothes of the past are gone and now everything is for anorexics that flaunt bones not muscle. The alternatives are baggy cut clothes for beer drinkers that just look sloppy and ghetto. Buyers take note, you need to stock items for grown ups if you want to boost store revenues!
Great place to shop. The store is extremely neat and clean with very helpful and friendly workers. There are a lot of sale prices which make it affordable to shop here.I went back to this Macys today and I was helped by Gloria who is a Personal Stylist. I hate dress shopping and she made it so easy. It is a free service that they provide and I will definitely be using it again. Gloria was able to take what I told her I liked and look at me and get me a lot of great choices! I left happy with the perfect dress for my event tomorrow.
It was my first visit since COVID-19. The store does not have a lot nor good inventory. There was another customer seeking maternity clothing and the employee informed that they no longer carry maternity wear. Wow wow wow!!!! It was sad and I did not find what I initially went looking for
I had a great experience thanks to the Men’s Clothing associate Haidy Z. She was wonderfully helpful and attentive when I needed assistance with purchasing shoes and a jacket for my brother for Christmas. I probably wouldn’t have purchased those two items without her assistance! If you need help looking for something for a guy in your life, I would definitely recommend that you ask for her specifically next time you visit the Macy’s in Roosevelt Field! Thank you Haidy, Merry Christmas!
It was much better after leaving the Jewelry dept. Its an old timer( I believe she is a supervisor) working with a Bad impression of Macys . But it was another professional sales lady. Help me as well another customer. Although she was being ignored by her co-worker also. She was dressed as a Muslim woman with a professional attitude & kindness
Thief’s! I will never recommend anyone to this Macy’s. It is a shame that their workers will steal customers’s belongings. My friend went shopping here and a worker named Michael stole her phone and no justice has been made. We were able to locate her phone at his address with find my iPhone. When confronted, he saw my friend and said that he recognized her from “yesterday” which was when she got her phone stolen and that he worked at Macy’s. Coincidence? I think not! The managers themselves didn’t help us at all when we wanted to check the cameras to find out what happened. It seemed like they were covering for him. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Don’t want this horrible experience to happen to anyone else. Thief’s belong in jail, not at retail stores.
This Macys has a very large selection and is well kept. The lines arent too long and the staff is sufficiently helpful. Overall, my shopping experience was quite pleasant. In comparison to other Macys stores, Id say this one is better than most. Id recommend shopping here.
I normally love shopping here. But when I came here recently with my girlfriend, we were harassed by an employee in the dresses section. She not only was rude to us and told us that the store was closing in 5 minutes when it was actually closing in 20 minutes, but she also peeped into the dressing room doors through the cracks, when my girlfriend was changing. Not only that, but my girlfriend tells her that she was making her uncomfortable and asked her to stand outside while she was changing clothes. However l, this employee not only disregarded her request but continued to stand near her dressing room door and denied that she was looking at her. Fortunately, the other employees were nice enough to give me the name of this employee, which they told me was Jane.
Was returning a fur coat my wife had ordered online which looked nothing like the actual package. Went to return line to return and a very, very nice associate started we had to return directly to the fur vault section. She walked us up and was very friendly. When we got to the fur vault section there were this 2 even more nicer ladies. Very helpful, super customer centric. Ended up returning the fur and even though had already ordered another one from Bloomingdales the women were so nice and they had this beautiful fur shearling jacket. Needles to say the bloomies jacket is going back. Thank you Fur Vault Ladies! You made my shopping a wonderful experience.
While looking at luggage, the department person has asked if I needed help, but I said No. Later on I found something I was looking for at a good price, but they didnt have the matching carry on. I wouldve thought that was it, but decided to ask the person if they happened to have one. She disappear for a few minutes, and lo and behold, she returned with one! Very happy experience
I didnt get proper assistance with an online order that Ive been struggling with due to my credit card, so the phone representative instructed me to go to the personally into the store for my purchases. When I got to the store the store manager failed on granting me my online black Friday deal instead I was left with paying the full price so I was really disappointed... Ive been fighting to get into contact with a store manager & when I finally did I was not assisted in the way I was looking for.
I went tothe mens Frangrance department to buy some Frangrances and almost every Frangrance I wanted to buy was sold out, it was very disappointing. I met with an male employee whos name was Gerrard and although Macys was basically out of stock in most Frangrances I wanted to buy, Gerrard helped me find other Frangrances that I was pleased with, thank God for him! Otherwise, I wouldnt have known what to buy Otherwise. He was basically the only one there, which took me by surprise, I felt that Macys can do a much better job with having more employees in this department than just having one person running like a chicken without a head. The employee Gerrard was trying to do his best to help as many customers at one time to the point I felt bad for him. I give Gerrard 5 stars for doing an outstanding job! However, I give Macys 1 star for not having enough employees to help more customers and for lack of stock, terrible!
I went here to buy a Vitamix. The salesperson came to check if I needed help soon after I arrived, and talked with me and answered all my questions to my satisfaction about the potential of a return. She was great and I was overall very pleased with the customer service.
I found five pairs of shoes here that I loved and was ready to buy. Being a size 5 I know beforehand that it will be tough to find my size. They only had one pair I liked in my size, three others they were able to order online and ship to my house. Its a bummer that I didnt get to try them on but they arrived within 3 days and fit perfectly. The showroom is a little messy always but there are great finds.
I was looking for suits, and my normal place to get suits didnt have suits to purchase the jacket and pants separately. Well they were in disarray. When I came to Macys everything was organized and a nice salesman assist me in getting 4 compete suits. Really nice department store to visit.
I live in Queens so I had been going to the Macys at Green Acres mall for a long time. Though I grew up on LI I rarely went to Macys at Roosevelt Field because of the congestion. I get all (and I mean all) of my boots at Macys but Green Acres had NOTHING. I attempted to buy a nice bootie but when the salesperson came back there was only one in the box and then she couldnt find the other shoe from the clearance rack from another pair that I wanted. I was disappointed. I left there and decided to drive to Roosevelt Field. When I stepped off of the escalator I felt like someone had dropped me into shoe heaven. I was shocked by the HUUUUUGE selection. Everything was well organized and the sales staff was phenomenal. I also couldnt beat the prices. I walked out with four pairs (one pair Michael Kors) for no more than $300. I was soooooo happy. That was a little over a month ago. Last week I went back and got three more pairs. Two off of the clearance rack which I was equally impressed with. The Macys at Roosevelt Field is hands down the best. Even the Macys in Manhasset has nothing on them. They too arent the greatest.
Went to the Finish Line upstairs inside the Macys and it was very neatly displayed. Despite the many customers Muzuki (the salesperson) was very professional and helpful to my Mother and Myself. Macys overall had a great feel to it. Good sales are going on now which is Always a Plus.
MAC counter...... interesting experience... I went here yesterday at about 3 PM. They were fully staffed....3 employees said theyll be right with me and they completely disappeared. I later found that one hid in the office, the tall worker, must have went on break and the other one went to help someone pick out lipstick instead of getting the foundation color she recommended. I was embarrassed and shocked. Im not from the area and the MAC store in NJ has amazing workers. The great news is after a 20 minute wait with workers disappearing, a new employee who just started came to assist me. When I went to purchase the items the first one who disappeared rang up my purchase. Wow, she reappeared ! The other worker who sent the new employee to help me began to discuss with her that shes Hispanic also and blah.blah.blah. MAC products are good. Dont go to this Macys to purchase it.
I rarely write reviews, but when I have something good to share with other customers, I do so. The excellent treatment I received, during my recent visit to Macys in Garden City concerning a transaction issue, from a young sales assistant ( manager ) in the mens department, named Michelle L, was just amazing. She is the best employee in Macys !!!
Its like you cant have a bad experience at Macys because the store holds everything from clothe cookware and even appliances. The mega store it is needs to stay up to date with their online services which they do well. There website is very helpful and useful. Most of the times the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable of the store.
It was a well organized mad house. There is parking on the roof by Neiman Marcus and plenty of open registers if you look. I was making a return. The return line was long so I returned my item in the Jr. Department, no line!! Traffic is horrible, but dont get angry just play some happy music and be courteous. Its not worth it!
This Macys is big with a huge variety of brands. I found this please clean and organized. Normally department stores are messy. I like that there are lots of fitting room and it has waiting areas with couches to sit. This is very helpful for men since they are the one that have to wait long hours 😅
Large specious store very organize. Staff in the Jewelry and men department as well as shoes are very pleasant. Willing to help but small staff for this big store, I still recommend it. Also if you can not find an item they are willing to order it for you free of charge.
Expensive .a 40-65 % discount is offered but the problem is original prices are very high .so for a $70 shirt even 40% discount is not working .shoes are mostly in the range of $150 after 40% off its still way expensive in corona time for families. Visit fragrance department .Faiza was at Estee Lauder very professional and nice she did her best to represent her products details but we moved to Versace ( friends wife called was upset why he alone was in Macys so to cool her temperature crystal bright ( minimum 90 ml ) was slap .at Versace a very rude Arab accent lady pick us .her attitude was either we are just waisting her time or are homeless who were only there for free sprinkle sprays from tester perfume bottles .very disappointed comparing the one who was at Estee Lauder and this oneWish we could buy something from Faizas desk but we bought Versace crystal bright absolu at 4:16 pm 7/19/20 ( in case management wants to find ) .again other Macys or Versace store at 5th Ave Manhattan give free extra samples or have gift box but this lady said Macys is running out of gift boxes and give only two 1 ml sample tester ) . Macys should know that on line business like Fragrance net.com offers Versace Bright crystal absolu 3 oz for $76.99 so if a customer is paying $125 in a Macys store he/she deserve respect and professional behavior .
No help from any one ,hard to find someone to ask questions about products! Entire time I did shopping ,without any kind of help .very hard to find ( what ever you looking) because no one is there. Then came to pay wait 25 minutes to get checked out .5 windows 2 salesperson working. Horrible experience.
I love this please! Its amazing customer service is what keeps me in love with Macys. They do whatever is possible in order to please any customer.Their employees are very professional and always reliable to help! Thanks Macys.Quality, price, products and brands availability, and customer service, are unique!Nancy from Elmont
I dont shop here as much as I use to, I needed a pair of sandals since its summer time and I usually find something that I like at Macys. The shoe section is so unorganized, they had about 3 customer service people on the floor running around cleaning up all the shoes, I asked one lady to check and see if they had a pair of sandals in the back, she asked me to wait to be called and she never came back. Then I see her helping a whole bunch of other women. The people act like savages when they shop too standing all close. Im a very simple shopper, if I find what I want, I buy it, and leave. One thing I dont like about department stores is they make you use your card to use one of their coupons. They often forget about you and leave you hanging while they go help other customers. I only go here when I cant find what I want elsewhere.
The online order pickup in this place is horrible. I purchased an overcoat and it was handed to me in a box without any care or protection. Not only this, but when I asked for a bag I was told by a very annoyed-looking employee that they didn’t have any bags and she readily moved on to service someone else without allowing me to inquire where could I find some. Horrible customer service and a flagship store without bags?
Wonderful display of clothes and other merchandise. Even on a Sunday evening it was a pleasure to walk to the store. The sales girl at the Polo shop was very resourceful and helpful. She even helped me find the item I was looking for even though it was not in the floor.
Customer service can be improved... managers were called but no one came. I needed a price adjustment the girl at the register just had to roll with it. I did get satisfaction but she was confused... we waited over 30min. (she felt sorry for us but we felt bad for her cause she was asking for help and no manager came to her aid)
Thank you. I would just like to pay tribute to an absolutely delightful and professional employee. Her name is Francesca and I just recently found out that she is a floor manager in the home , gift and coat department on the lower level. Much to her credit, I can understand why.My first encounter with Francesca was met with enthusiasm, knowledge of her products, patience , and kindness. Not often does one encounter such a spirit today . She did everything she could to accomodate me , assist me , and present a very stisfying and pleasant experience. Kudos to you for your recognition of this womans great capacity and I look forward to working with her again. Thank you
Went to Macys for storewide 20% deal after Christmas. Pretty much none of the products in the store had the advertised sale applied. Cashier Josh was utterly terrible. Took forever to check us out, was talking with his coworkers, he was uneducated about the sales of the items on the rack right beside his station. When we asked to fold the clothes ourselves to speed things up he gave us attitude about it and then proceeded to complain about the length of the line after us, which was caused by his lollygagging. If you go to Macys, pray you dont get Josh.
I love this location everyone is very friendly and super helpful. Except one girl in the pickup department of the men’s activewear. A dark skin black lady that was very rude when I asked her to put some of my order I just picked up into another bag. Because the bag was over filled. She rudely told me they did not have paper bags and proceeded to continue with another customer. Then she hands me a bag and rolled her eyes. Beside her everyone else is pretty nice.
Very unhappy with customer service! I bought a small appliance from them that never worked right and finally broke. When I called they proudly told me it was beyond the return policy and they would NOT do ANYTHING to help me. Not even a small credit on a replacement purchase!!!!Really bad Macys !!!!Also their system purges your orders soon after the return time frame so I was invisible to them!!!!!VERY DISAPPOINTED and will not give them my business and will tell other people of what happened.
I dont understand why its always 110 degrees in this store. Ive said things to employees who agree with me and Ive even spoken to employees in other mall stores whove complained about it as well. They dont like going in there. Who wants to shop and try on clothes when youre sweating to death? You feel the difference the moment you step back out into the corridors of the mall, the temperature drop is incredible.

2022-04-07Rude sales person, closes at 9 but would not let customers use fitting room at 8:30. Obviously in a rush to go home and was really rude. Would have understood the situation if spoken to politely.

2022-06-13Had a funeral to attend and my son needed a suite asap. He’s a big kid. Debra, in the mens department went above and beyond to help him. My son, who usually is never happy with suites was thrilled. I forgot what it’s like to have good service. We needs stores and employees like Debra, for one-on-one service. Thank you for making this difficult time a little easier.

2022-04-26Macys is like one of those dinosaurs that will keep surviving no matter how big the asteroid is, but in the ‘fashion’ spaceHow does a company especially inside one of the most highly attracted malls in the U.S. not have the funds to update their look? If this is what they are going for then touché with keeping up with the 80’s

2022-02-06Always great! Bought my dad 3 items, spent $400 and was happy as usual. The cashier didnt seem the friendliest but once she started to assist me I realized thats just her demeanor: monotone, slow, and nonchalant. She did try to have the manager allow me to receive the Macys discount although I didnt have my Macys card, but the manager said no, but if course that was no fault of this lady. She was helpful to my parents when they went the next day to swap out dads clothes for various sizes which was nice.

2021-07-27Great place always great deals wasn’t crazy crowded today which I like also no one is in your face to get you to buy something great brands also great customer service and very clean. Although the hand sanitizer bottles should be refilled when it’s empty it promotes cleanness everything is fold neatly and over all everything was good here at this location

2022-04-23Nice big clean store. The roosevelt field store has it together. Everything is in place. The green acres store has everything all over the place. I went to get a pair of MK sneakers yesterday, 4/22/22, on the sale rack size 8.5. The lady had me waiting about 12 min before she came back. Tried them on. The left foot felt tight. I thought maybe because it was in the box and everyone was trying on the right foot. Nope. The one in the box was a size 8!!! Im glad I checked so now someone has 2 different sizes home!! The guy at the register was nice to double check and he couldnt find the other 8.5 so he had to take them off the shelf.

2022-05-29Macy’s, it’s been around forever, as far as I can remember. The store is still a true “department store”, but what a mess, not enough staff to keep the merchandise neat and clean through the day ( which is probably as much customers returning in droves and “throwing” clothes around as staffing levels). But, hey, shopping/ retail is still an event to enjoy and see what’s in style and what’s new. Macy’s is a place to go, the staff are diligent and helpful. Stop by!!

2022-07-05Wanted gift cards. I had to walk around the store for 15 minutes to find an associate and a register with a person. I ended up after 20 minutes getting the gift cards from a perfume counter. How do you have no one working at registers during the day.

2022-04-29Hugh store, random hidden large toy store on 3rd floor. Discount change weekly. Worth checking out because you can try before buy. Go during the weekend when empty. Weekend felt crowded and no one has masks on as on April 22, 2022

2022-07-09My God-what happened to this store? Hard to get help, awful selection-used to be so nice. Doesn’t feel like a great shopping experience any more. Kris Kringle would be heart-broken.
