Theyre starting to cone back with staffing, items services. They still have work to do but you can see things coming together.
Store has a good selection but needs more petite garments. I did find a nice dress for a wedding.The staff members were helpful and considerate. The floor person was able to help me find the dress in my size and it fit beautifully. The cashier put my dress in a garments bag and also treated me with respect & kindness.Early Friday morning, the store wasnt crowded. Very good shopping experience.
Very average selections, seems sparse compared to other Macys. Was nobody on the floor to help and cash registers were minimal.

Worst customer service Ive ever experienced in a department store. Had a sizing question. Waited for worker to help someone for 20 min. He finished said he would be right with me. Went into back for a minute then came out and started helping a couple that had just walked up but were better dressed than I was.
You might put up signage telling people how to use your price check. I spent 5 minutes trying to find price tags and then an employee finally strolled by and they helped me figure it out. Im not from the area so am not familiar. That luggage is way overpriced!
Macys is horrible, “Z” the manager refused to accept my item and told me to call customer service even though he knew they could not help me because my purchase was made in store! The level of customer service I received is deplorable!

Ok, mall. Shocked, at November 10 Christmas tree and Santa claus on, I liked the holiday season feeling, but this is to early, also if holiday season to long, it loosing that special feelings......Not agree with administration off mall.
It is funny but most stores do not have many clothes size 8 for girls and size 16 for boys. I am experiencing problem getting clothes for my teens.

Here you can find Lots of specials and selected brands at discounted prices. Personnel is very helpful and polite. Love the free fast wifi and big spaces in it. Not as many options as in other locations such as cross county.

Clean, updated, well-lit store, but when I went to checkout, I couldnt find a staffed register! I finally left my items on a counter and walked out. This isnt the first time that Ive had trouble checking out at this store. Other Macys seem to be better staffed.
Regular things you would expect at a Macy’s. It’s a big store with lots of name brand items, and they have almost everything you would need related to clothing. The staff is alright, they’re not bad but they aren’t amazing. Only complaint is that the store looks a bit dirty, probably because of how big the store is. But hey, it’s just a regular Macy’s at a mall.

Love Macys, however, hate when people need help, because the employees will literally walk by you as if they dont see you trying to get their attention. The only employees that try to help are those by the perfume/cologne section. If it werent for the employees I would rate it 5 stars.
Terrible customer service. Table of tops clearly marked 40% off. Top scanned regular price. When I asked a manager she replied its a project changing sign to full price. She wouldnt even give to me at sale price!!!
This store is my go to place for shopping for mens clothing. Yes, it is an high end store, but if you are smart shopper you will find the bargains. Considering how Van Heusen closed almost all its stores, you can come here with its excellent customer service.

Quick, which I love. Love shopping with a purpose and finding what I need. Also there are great discounts. Only bad side is I totally was followed by security as if I was going to steal something....insulting on so many levels. So they could work on their discrimination with that.
Upsales mostly everything on Black Friday then when you come back it’s back at it’s original price. Poor service and terrible organization. I wouldn’t recommend this macys for someone who’s even in a rush.
Service is extremely slow and sales associates arent communicative towards customer. I waited 10 minutes for a sales associate who was visible at the register but didnt acknowledge me waiting to be helped. Better service would be appreciated in addition to providing a reason for ignoring me for so long.
The salespeople didnt wear masks but the store was empty.
I know that in the age of online shopping, some people are loathe to go to stores. But I still love buying things in person — and some things, like clothing, more than others. I come to Macy’s because I always expect to find good sales and surprise deals and good customer service. Kevin, the person behind the register, went out of his way to see if the suit we were buying was available CHEAPER online — which it wasn’t! He didn’t have to take that extra step but he did — and that kind of great customer service is what will keep me coming back!
I like Macys but this location isnt my favorite one. I find the store to be messy and I can never find what I am looking for. This location needs to have staff that are not at the registers so they can assist customers.
Not the best experience. Went to look for a cologne and browsed the cologne section for over 30 minutes before being helped. Once an associate came to help he did not have the proper knowledge of what scents / notes that go into creating the cologne. Overall horrible experience. If you want well trained employees who KNOW everything that goes into each cologne go to Neiman Marcus where they actually train the employees

Good pricing, great selection and shopping experience is great. They should hire more people though, because a lot of times there is only 1 staff member at the checkout area and a 10-15 minute wait at the pick-up section.
At the Mac counter , an absolutely beautiful young woman named , kelly helped me so much. Took her time and helped me pick out all i needed and introduced me to new products and im so excited to use all of her tips and im.prayong that my makeup looks half as good as hers . Kelly was an absolute treasure and now Mac is my favorite shopping at Macys !!!!!!!

Was there on Sunday...There was a shoe sale going on...finally found a pair out of quiet a huge selection,,yet nothing to really catch my eye...went on line which was from one side of store to the other...Only one register open...but there were more than one worker working...I had to go...came back next day...SALE OVER...
Service Online is Terrible....Associate place an incorrect order now its issue to change you have cancle and re-order again..Only Macy does this no one other store..
Lack of support staff - one cashier for two floors! Home section was trashed and lacked most products.
My daughter came for a dress. Shes a tween and hard to fit, especially with her particular desires. Fortunately Macys still employs staff available on the floor so I was easily directed to the right place on the dress floor. My daughter immediately found 3 dresses and was happy to find another section for a 4th choice. I even found a dress! We ended up buying 2 dresses because she couldnt choose! I love that theyre pretty without being skimpy and too mature. With the sale, we actually got the two for a little more than full price of one! To further enhance my good experience, I found that Macys also employs a bra fitter, bra ambassador. I got properly fitted and then directed to bras that would look good on me. Admittedly, I rarely shop Macys because I think of them as out of my price range, but now I know why I should pay more: excellent customer service, high quality clothing, and reasonable sales!
Love Macys but nothing in comparison to the Macys on 7 and 33 in NYC.

I went to Macys to look for a dress and signed up with them to receive a 25% off. When I was checking out the code on the coupon wasnt working. Nor the cashier or I could figure out why. However, the cashier, Tina, figured out how to help me out so I would not miss out on the deal even though it was a bit more involved for her. She was friendly, curteous, and extremely helpful! Great customer service experience.

Came to pickup something from online order. They misdirected me 3 times.... Went up and down 3 floors because they didnt knew where the pickup center is. Very unprofessional. Thats the minimum they should know where things in the store is. And if they dont know at least for send me around 3 floors. Besides the point was big lines there when I finally spotted that pickup station.

I used to believe that Macy’s was a fun place to shop in. On March 12, 2020 I was shopping around the handbag section when a employee with a red badge walked right by me without asking me for help. What happened to Macy’s magic and their finest customer service? An employee was kind enough to provide me with her first name (Leo). Very disappointed. I had another incident where a manager named Sonia was giving my daughter attitude. Sonia has the audacity to roll her eyes at my daughter.

This location is sometimes a little messy, but given that it is in a mall, it is to be expected. Today went well, safety stickers for social distance and quick check out. Personally, I like a personal assistance when I shop and the employees never help (Im talking pre-covid19)

I went in for a pair of mens Jeans but there was not much of a mens section it was a bit disappointing. But otherwise theres plenty of assorted goods for the home and for women. My girlfriend loved it so it was good enough I suppose. Just dont go in expecting to find an assortment of mens clothing.
After more than decade this store is closing down. They had a good selection of backstage from kids to adults lots of deals. Final sales going on now. The girl in bags is very unhappy and cannot give good service. I guess some reps like this could bring places down.

Depending on which department you hit, which associate you interact with, and which manager deals with your case, your experience at this Macy’s can vary pretty greatly. Beautiful store until you deal with associates with attitudes, especially when you’re a platinum cardholder.
I went to Macys in Palisades Park. I was in the perfume area of the stiore. I asked the salesperson for assistance her manager stepped in front of me and proceeded to have the person I was speaking to attend to someone else and proceeded to walk away. I asked the salelady assisting what happened and she was not only embarrassed but could not speak. I will never return to this Macys again. She was rude and intentionally so.
The mall is quiet for the obvious reasons. therefore I was able to completely enjoy my shopping experience. All the staff was on point except for nick a customer asked him for TH for women he said Macys didnt sell TH for women. maybe he was new he was still pleasant he just didnt know where things were. Lets not forget Macys Playlist almost felt like I was in a club. Ms Marsha in the children section is on point.
I personally have nothing negative to comment about Macys stores, particularly West Nyack location. Im pleased with the store layout, customer services, clothes are very fashion forward and reasonable priced.Im sold! Ive had a run in with an associate who came off annoyed with me once and did call her out on her rudeness, shes been fine since that incident. Aside from that one experience, Im content with Palisades Macys.

Good prices and everything. But hate the racial profiling done by the security team. I understand they have a job to do but do you really need to continue to follow me for half an hour after I have paid and have continued to shop? Like seriously just because of what I wore and my ethnicity... will continue to shop but now know I’m always being watched because of my ethnicity
The dressing rooms were dirty and not cared for. The store had a recent redesign and was confusing. The clothing is organized in clusters by brand so trying to find something like yoga pants meant you have to go thru multiple sections instead of having them all together. I was overall disappointed. The cashier was friendly and helpful but she was the only employee we saw/interacted with.
Store is very clean, the staff very friendly and u can find great deals here on just about everything!! Stop by I highly recommend!!

Macys always has great sales
My wife and I were shopping for sale items in the china department. At first there was no staffer around, but when we asked for help, three converged, helping us check out with one gentleman helping us get service for six out to our car. Very gracious.
Walk in and receive no greeting. Dont even see any service staff to be called on. Get through the whole store right to the mens department and still no service staff. There is a kiosk where I find out I can scan my stuff with the Macys app and pretty much leave after I go to the kiosk. Though it would be hard to do since again no staff even here. The store was a mess. Tables not folded. Product on the floor by the price checkers. Felt as though things were a little disorganized to say the least. As we are leaving I see a bunch of cosmetic staff just chatting it up and standing around. Let me say again; no greeting or seeing if I need service. Just sad for a company that once was the pinnacle of the business model.
It was ok. The rep could have been more helpful, but I think she was more interested in going home. I believe I should have paid less for my 5 items, and be able to use my fresh coupons but she said I could not. Who am I argue, I found most of what I was looking for.
I went into this store on the 23rd of February 2016 and ordered a sofa, end table, and dining room set. The sales associate that helped me was Andrew Rodriguez. Andrew was very polite and answered all my questions that I had. I received the furniture within a week. The furniture is excellent for the price. If you are looking for good furniture; then see Andrew Rodriguez at the Macys located at the palisades mall.
Macys has always been a great store regardless of the location, a very well trained professional staff, plentiful choices when it comes to apparel, accessories, appliances and housewares, you will always have a memorable experience on each and every visit, especially at this time of the year.

Macys is perfect store to get clothes for any season. You can buy gifts like, perfume, Jewelry, pocketbooks, baby clothes. The also have mattresses and housewares. The store is clean and the staff here was very nice and helpful.
I was with my family today looking to purchase a pair of boots for work. Instead of the employee asking how we were, he watched us as if we were going to steal the boots. Was far from helpful and demanded us to pay for them with him. I wish I grabbed his name so he would know who he was. If I didnt need the items as bad as I did, I wouldnt have purchased from him. His attitude changed when he saw my limit and realized I wasnt trying to rob him. But it was to late. He left such a sour taste in all of our mouths that we left the mall immediately after. Please dont be so quick to judge a book by its cover. My wife wanted to continue shopping until we met our employee. He made us all feel uncomfortable in the mens boot and dress shoe department. I know if I treated people the way he treated is I would be out of a job. But hey good luck! Very disappointed
You wonder why macys has not been doing so well? All you have to do is look to their employees. As a single father, twice now i have gone to 2 different macys looking for bras for my daughter. Twice i have had terrible experiences. Both times the sales people have been less than helpful and and i was left fending for myself and had to figude wverything out for myself. Improve your staff and maybe people will come back into the stores and stop being a glorified marshalls.

Once upon a time I used to drive myself crazy going to different mens clothing stores for what I needed but then I started really paying attention to the selection at Macys. Now, its the only place I shop and I regularly get comments on both my casual attire and my dressy attire.
Got $2200 chain, went back after a year to get it cleaned, when I went to pick it up they said “they don’t have it, someone already pick it up”, how could that be when I had the receipt. After an hour of frustration, they found it. This is the sketchiest place ever. How could you say I picked it up when you misplaced it. Horrible service.
This is a very big Macys superstore. Its divided into 3 levels for mens womens and childrens each. Merchandise is nicely displayed. This place is not to be for a quick shopping. This store is inside Palisades Mall so you need plenty of time to shop here.
Used to be a decent store until tabout a year ago when they filled the main floor with cheap merchandise and made it look like a bargain basement. A friend and I were there recently and both remarked that it looks just awful. However, i still love shopping Macys online and the NYC store.
Will not shop here again being that you are open on Thanksgiving every year which is sickening. Do we really need more stuff? Also so much made in China stuff throughout the store.

During my visit the clothing was being reorganzied. Isnt this done outside of customer hours?A few people asked if I needed help as they were moving things aroung. They gave me their name and said theyd be right over there if I needed help.Although it was not an ideal shopping experience I really appreciated the offers of help.
I went a few times in a Friday evening. It wasnt busy which was great. I prefer online shopping for better sales. In store doors not reflect as online additional sales and savings
The drive to this Macys really makes you miss the one thats in Nanuet, but overall the experience is what you expect. They do now have live performances sometimes I think, its kind of nice.

Average at best clothing styles. The ladies dressing room is disgusting. The picture was taken just 2 hours after opening. Theres no way that dust collected like this. Walls were filthy and covered with the long tape that gets affixed to pants. Bathrooms just as filthy. Someones not maintaining this place.

Joyce was very rude. Macys should hire more professional people. I asked if there were more fitting rooms and she said there is one across the hallway but I dont know if it is open and I ask can you find out?...thinking they have Walkie talkie. Her answer was like nope in a very rude way then she added what? You want me to walk all the way there? And she laugh I am impressed at how Macys has lost the value of customer service.
Great shopping experience today (6-13-2019) at Macys in the Palisades Center Mall. I bought a Polo branded shirt and ended up with $39.40 in savings. Suggested retail price was $98.50 and ended paying just $61.69 after taxes.

I enjoy shopping in Macy s. Sales lady who helped me was very kind and courteous. Few and limited selections compared to Macys in Manhattan. Their best asset are the employees who are just wonderful and helpful.

The Macys store is located in the Palisades Mall with easy access to ground level parking and enough parking for over a hundred cars, their customer service a really great and the selection is amazing well they offer latest up-to-date styles on clothing shoe and accessories the cashiers are always ready to help.
Decent sales. They also have a Backstage section. Need more coats, and more selection in the Inc section of the mens department.
Where to begin. 1. My macy has gone back stage. Which is sort of like a marshalls. I miss going for my high end brands. A very small plus size section. 2. Did not like the vibe. Will miss the macys of old. Probably wont be going back. Another reason to shop online.

I walked in on a Friday 4:30 p.m. in the bedding Department nobody to help with a question for more than 15 minutes when I finally found somebody he reluctantly answer me that the item could not be scanned at a register because of that particular design on the sheet I walk to the mens shoes Department and they only had one pair of flip-flops for $40 not on sale

I went to this location on Sunday February 23rd 2020 and i went to try on some jeans, and stepped on a security tag with a tack, it went all the way into my foot and I had to take it out, these incompetent employees didn’t sweep up the floor, it was littered with even tinier ones, I asked to file an incident report and it took them 20 minutes to get the guy from customer service, and I wasn’t offered any means of compensation, I WILL NOT BECOMING BACK TO THIS LOCATION, VERY DISAPPOINTED ~Emmanuel Mckenzie

The woman working in clinique is very rude.She was talking to customers very rudely. She ask if the customer spoke English and say I dont how to explain to you . That is not how you talk to people.
My wife was just robbed in the macys dressing room, she left her handbag in the dressing room for several minutes, when she came back the room was cleaned up by an employee and interestingly all her cash was missing. My wife complained immediately, and the employee who happened to leave for lunch immediately was called and she denied (of course...) taking anything.Please dont trust this place!

This Macys is big and has multiple floors with different departments, I found some nice ties there on clearance sale for very cheap
Large selection of merchandise. Comfortable store to shop in; been other Macys locations & temperatures were many times too warm & stuffy feeling.

No do as we daughter and I did not visit to shop only we found a short through from the parking lot to the H and L shop and mall And but Macy,s and I have touched on legalities before due to their errors mostly and that time needed to organize some statements and correspondence were needing more attention and finally my insistenceOtherwise good merchandise can usually be found there .And thank you
Macys is my regular spot. What can I say. Not a one will co.pare with the flagship on 34th but, thats to be expected. Outside of that, this always works for me when I want to avoid the bustle of 34th.
This is the worst Macys i have ever been to. The staff are lazy and offer no help. Horrible customer service.

1 fitting room for 3 entire floors and the person attending them has a nasty attitude.
Make sure you are visiting the backstage. Makeup area is a pain as staff not leaving you alone.

Empty. I could not find a dress with a short sleeve!!! Tank dresses and prom dresses but a simple interview quality dress could not be found.
This is not bigger store than the others but is enough for finding whatever you are looking for. The prices are awesome.
It was under construction with temporary walls up everywhere. Didnt seem to have as much of a select as other Macys stores that Ive been to.

2022-04-17Macys was great. Took my son to look for clothes for church. It was perfect timing as they were having an awesome sale. So we were able to get him a nice pair of trousers and shirt to match.

2022-06-09If you are looking to buy cosmetics, do yourself a favor and go to Ulta or Sephora over this location. A bunch of employees in the area were not doing anything, and when I asked for assistance to get one simple item that I already knew I wanted, I kept getting the run around and nobody would help. They seemed annoyed that I even wanted to buy something there. I won’t go back. It is not worth the energy or money to buy from a place that won’t give customers the time of day for a quick minute of help obtaining an item to purchase.

2022-06-22I wanted a pair of summer white jeans, to my delight Macys was having sales in almost every Dept. 25% 40% and even 70%, it was great!!. I shopped a little more then I had originally planned,but with sales like these you almost have to.

2022-04-11I was at Palisades Mall shopping. My mom & I bought very nice gifts and we spent money.The sales reps at the perfume cologne counter were very eager and aggressive.The fine jewelry one of the women there she was not very kind or helpful.forhot her name but it was around 1:00pm.shift on 4-10-2022.We Gerald someone say thats the manager coming down the escalate hename.waa Minnie she was wonderful kind angel helpful .Very efficient & caring. She had lots of patience where one of the other 2 female women were working at the jewelry counter Thank you Minnie .We then went over to the skin care and one women at the Estee Lauder never greeted us or even acknowledging we were there w just a simply Ill be right w you . Then come.ivwr Lancome.representivtie her name is Yolanda Zory and works for Lancone .She was magnetic sweet kind and cares about our needs greeted us and how can I help Im sorry for the wait .I can go on and on about her . I hope the Corporate of Macys leaders can recognize this women . This is the kind of customer service we need and being we just breaking out of a pandemic and people shop with hope of finding good deals and kind people I hope that this reaches out to the higher ups . 2022-04-08This Macys store inside Palisades mall sell variety of products from footwear, dresses both male and female, parfum, ornament, watches, gifts, etc. Great place for all events outwear shopping! Customer service is second to none and the atmosphere has all safety requirements to give customers peace of mind.
