Limited menu. Zero service. We were seated and in the thirty minutes we were there, 4 other tables were seated and served. So. We left. Im not going to blame the staff, even though the same waiter that seated us seated and served the other tables. Management need to hire more staff and pay a living wage. Do go here if you are actually hungry.
Mahoneys staff went above and beyond expectations for my sons baptism / birthday. The food was 💯 amazing. The two people working our room were just the best. They did a cash bar on top of the brunch that included unlimited soda tea and juice. The room was so spacious it really felt like we were just hanging out nothing was rushed. Highly recommend them for a party in addition to there food in general ! Thank you all very much. - Nicole pressler
Food was OK if you are hungry, but it is not a gourmet experience. Service was poor. My side dish was placed on my guests plate and the waiter blamed the chef for it. The waiter was not familiar with the menu. At first, we were told that there is no non-alcoholic beer until we pointed out the item on the drinks menu. We wanted to have a nice Irish treat but in the end it was not the best choice of the place.
Went there for the first time yesterday and it will be my last. Service was slow. They basically ran out of every beer we ordered. This was 6pm on a Saturday (after a St. Patricks day parade earlier no less) the corned beef and cabbage was way too salty and the steak has absolutely no seaaoning. Total waste of time and money.
Shocked and disturbed by the treatment here. Staff was rude and inconsiderate to my party and not to mention I became violently ill once I arrived home after eating here. I hope things quickly change here and people are able to have an enjoyable experience, unlike me.
Ok so today is my 14TH wedding anniversary and my hubby and i are new to this area the host was absolutely awesome,( MIKE ) How ever he gave my hubby and i an ear full about how TERRIFIC THE OWNER IS AND HOW YUMMY THE FOOD IS HERE AND BOY ..... HE WAS RIGHT... OUR ATTENDEE SHAUN WAS TOTALLY AWESOME TOO..... I MEAN I REALLY WANT TO EMPHASIZE THE SERVICE WAS SO AWESOME....
Our dinner or late lunch as i guess it was, was great, especially considering the large size of our party of 14. Cranberry Pecan Salad with chicken was very good and a generous portion. The look of everyones meals all looked very good as well. Fries were cooked well, service was very good. All in all a great experience. There were no complaints.
I enjoyed the old structure and the Irish feel. The floor mural needs to be repainted. I like the rock music but maybe modern Irishy music like Clannad or others would be better? My wife thought the beef skewers were bad so I ate them and thought they were fine. She ended up eating my buffalo wings which I also thought were good. The beer selection was ok. A couple of Irish imports would have been good unless I just missed them. The cranberry salad was eaten without complaint as were the shrimp skewers. Staff was friendly. I would go back.
So my partner and I both were hungry and it was pretty late and saw online that Mahoney’s was still serving food. Instead of assuming, that the kitchen was open (sometimes online times are wrong) we called ahead first and they assured us yes they were still serving for another two hours. When we arrived we saw some people eating, others at the bar and noticed that it didn’t look like their was anyone to seat us, so we took menus from the bar and headed to a table. After about 20 minutes we noticed one worker approaching each table, either taking orders, giving people their checks etc. When he reached our table he seemed very annoyed and quickly took our drink orders. My partner ordered a whiskey and I ordered just a soda since I was driving. About 15 minutes later her returned to the table with water for me and the completely wrong drink for my partner. He then tried to move quickly away without taking our orders in which my partner then stopped him and informed him that our drinks were wrong and that we were ready to order. He seemed extremely annoyed by this and rushed us through taking our orders constantly talking over us, half listening to what we even were saying. He then went to fix the drinks upon which he returned, slammed them down in front of us and walked away without even saying a word. When the food arrived my steak which was supposed to be medium rare, was cooked more then even a typical “well done” steak and my partners boneless wings were chewy as if they had been sitting under a heater all day. He returned a few minutes later to the table, normally at this point the waiter or waitress asks how the food is, instead he almost interrogated us on what was wrong and why we weren’t eating the food. At that point we had had it and asked for the check, paid and left. Honestly, I understand some people have bad days, and sometimes the food could be off, but from the very beginning he made us feel like our very presence was a nuisance to him, like we had showed up at the last second and ordered a 10 course meal, to the point where he couldn’t even bother to remember a soda vs a water. The food in my opinion is forgivable, things happen, but to be treated so poorly by a waiter, when it’s to the point I’m trying to forcibly eat something I am not enjoying, just to avoid confrontation, is completely inexcusable and is why we will never ever go back.
Barely a shot of bourbon poured on top of fruit is their old fashioned for $9. Cranberry salad would be good with balsamic instead of raspberry flavored sugar water. Timing is all wrong. Pounced on by wait staff before even open a menu. Entree comes barely after receiving starter. Have to ask for water. And then, when it is time to pay and get out of there, no one can be found. not very busy and plenty of staff can be seen so Im not accepting a worker shortage argument here. Take a pass.
Stopped in after food serving hours. Drink menu simplifies to standard bar/club fare of bottled beers and simple cocktails. Good amount of door security presence. They are serious but friendly and do not helicopter. They do continuously monitor for brawls and injuries. Much more of a college pub scene in the wee hours.
Food is okay. Steaks werent crispy on the outside. Onion rings and calamari a little dry. Service was a little slow even though the place was empty upstairs. Waiter was friendly but took a lot of time to take order and to bring food. Onion rings came without remoulade sauce so we had to order a third batch to use with the sauce.
Absolutely amazing absolutely phenomenal every other place that sells steak closed at 10 but man Mahoneys Irish Pub some of the best food Ive ever had and the service staff everything was 100% if I could get more than five stars I would. The bartender downstairs is phenomenal best whiskey and Coke Ive ever had cant stress enough how absolutely Mahoneys was Monday nights are quiet and peaceful perfect time to go when youre just wanting to be with that special someone and I would definitely recommend sitting down in the bar
Could be a great place, but it’s not. The food taste like gas station food and the downstairs bar smells like a musty rag. Bartender wasn’t very personable and they don’t know the difference between wings and boneless wings. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re already drunk
Went for comedy night. It was a blast! Wait staff was fabulous! Boneless wings were very good. More breading than I like but they were nice and crispy! Fries were really really good. OGreat time with friends. Can’t wait to go back! Not far from my house and I never went here. New venture for me and I will be back. Hubby is vegan so not sure what he can eat there. I think they have salads.
A great Irish pub type of restaurant that has a positive reputation amongst locals. They offer a variety of menu options, such as fish and chips, hamburgers, steak, veggies and much more. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are also served.Prices are mid-range to higher but the food and atmosphere is desirable. The owner is usually on site and cares about your dining experience.
My girlfriend and myself stopped in for lunch. We were seated immediately. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. Our food was excellent. The chicken mahoney is excellent. The lunch menu is very good. I just wish some more of the items from the dinner menu were on the lunch menu but maybe in smaller lunch portions. The dinner menu is amazing also. It was a nice lunch all around. Well worth coming back again and again.
I showed up at this place with 23 people in tow after a photo walk. They were empty but still asked if I had a reservation even though I could see the book was empty too. After they got over the shock of having to work they did very well with decent food and good service. This an annual event and the fourth time I have visited unannounced like this with the same excellent results.
Went to a birthday party here. The place has a nice atmosphere, with views of the Hudson River and walkway over the Hudson. The staff were friendly and attentive. Disappointingly the food was mediocre. All of the meat and vegetable dishes had no seasoning. Overall it seems like a decent place to go for a drink, not so much for the food.
So happy! We travelling the area late at night and needed to grab a bite, we were greeted warmly, waiter came quickly, we got a big basket of warm assorted breads with LOTS of soft butter, wine was great, and our burger platter literally took 10 minutes from ordering to receiving and was HUGE and delicious and cheaper then a Big Mac meal at McDonald’s. Absolutely love it. If we ever do this trip again we’ll stop in again thank you!
Went to a comedy night, acts were great, food average, but service was horrible. Ordered steak and asked for a steak knife since they didnt bring one. Took forever and we had to go to the front to ask for and get it ourselves. Some plates had white goop on them that probably was mashed potatoes, but who knows. Also, for this huge place they have a far too small bathroom. It was a line followed by Irish jig to get to the stall. They did comp the steak dinner, but only after being rude and nasty, then later apologized. They could do so much better there with a better focus on service.
I enjoyed my time here. I was here for New Years Eve, and the celebration was a lot of fun. The pub is located directly next to the train tracks so its an easy on easy off to where ever youre going. We did the NYE special, so open bar from 8-12 with a pretty decent food selection and appetizers. Everybody here was pretty polite and respectful, especially the staff. Only minus would be some of the seasonings on the food. The brisket was dry and the chicken not very good. Salmon was good (tad fishy) but cooked perfectly and flaky. Steak was succulent and perfectly cooked. All in all great night with friendly hosts and atmosphere. I would definitely return.
Mahoneys picks and chooses what state laws they will follow. Nine people were sitting shoulder to shoulder at the bar. But my date and I were told we couldnt sit at the bar due to distance regs. It was explained to us that these people were all friends. We moved to a table but was so uncomfortableWe asked for the bill and was told we had to order food because it was state law. What hippocrites! We refused to order food and paid the tab Some guy wearing a Moroneys Motorcycle sweat shirt pointed at me and said_ I know youin a menacing way. Do not go to Mahoneys unless you want to hang with drunk regulars and an inept bar maid.
Came in last night for a dinner with my SO.Food services was mediocre at best, as we had to ask our waitress for our salads to go (never came out before our food) and took 45+ minutes for our two medium steaks to come out of the kitchen. My plate (veggies, NY Strip & rice) was very under seasoned, but the steak was cooked well. Rice slightly undercooked. If it wasn’t for our waitress & the drinks would probably be 1 star.Love Mahoney’s for a night out and drinks, but probably wouldn’t go back for dinner.
Natalie the day Bartender was beautiful. Warm, funny and amazingly good at her job. Very refreshing I thank her for her prompt service, we worked hard and were hungry... I had a fabulous time. We went back the next day. Thank heaven it was consistent. Excellent again. Very warm and friendly.......
We had a great team dinner of 17 people. The entire staff, from host, bartender, waitress were amazing. I believe we tried most of the entrees. Portions were huge. Love the shepherds pie. Hangar steak is great. Our appetizers for the table were awesome. The roasted brussell sprouts were fantastic. Cauliflower was amazing. Flat breads and lump grab dip were yummy. We will definitely be back.
Really cozy Irish pub right across from the Poughkeepsie Metro North station. All wooden interior, very spacious and a huge menu. Servers were friendly and helpful, they made accommodations for my vegan diet. The portions are enormous, great value for the prices. My friend really enjoyed her strawberry salad and I highly recommend the veggie burger. Fries are so crunchy and delicious. Will visit again the next time I head upstate for a hike.
My wife recently tried her first Irish pub in a wonderful place in Hendersonville NC. and loved the food, so after searching the area on Google maps I thought I would take her here for our 2nd anniversary, this turned out to be a sorry mistake. A fresh salad and a serviceable cream of broccoli soup didnt make up for a too tough beef stew in a gravy seemingly made with a poor quality beef base that had a strange overpowering unpleasant flavor and the not boiled and grilled or pan seared but carelessly deep fried bangers in the sloppily plated bangers and mash looked like it came from the worst greasy spoon diner. Deep frying your sausages is a short order cooks short cut that just says I dont care about what Im serving. Also my wife ordered their pomegranate MARTINI and it came in a shaker glass on the rocks? Truly disappointing, we will not be going back.
Great Reuben, excellent fries - crispy on the outside, soft and warm inside. The burger, pasta, and spicy mac&cheese the others at my table got also looked good and were well received. If youre not going for football games on Sunday you can get a table upstairs where its much more laid back.
DJ at this place was amazing!!! Went on a Friday night and it was so much fun. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars went the very next night after a wedding, after 11pm they were letting person after person in, to the point you couldnt even dance (actually think it was a fire hazzard.) So I would reccomend Friday night. The line was out the door on Saturday.
At the moment you step in that restaurant the personel give you a good feeling. Very warm stuff, it is a good place to pass time with your friends or with your date. delightful cooking, professional chef de cuisine, reasonable price and professional service. Highly recommended.
There is nothing special about Mahoney’s. Decent food, the drinks were kind of pricey. The wait staff seemed overwhelmed. I liked that there is live music. My biggest gripe was that the parking lot was full and I had to circle for parking, which I eventually found further away than I liked. I would go there again though.
Bangers and mash a huge disappointmentNot real bangers, gristly italian sausage and potatoes were instant! No gravy or fried leeks as advertisedSmothered in a can of beansLooked gross and tasted worseSo disappointedAdd insult to injury price up for St Pat’s despite was lunchtime on the day before
Nice location with a great interior and friendly staff. We attended a family party, and the wait staff was very nice to all of us. We had a nice private room, and the food and drinks were delivered well. Everything tasted so nice, and our guests complimented the experience.
Love Mahoneys. Great place to grab a drink with friends. Food is delicious and their steak is on point. I usually get their blackened salmon salad which is amazing but Ive had their steak and their corned beef sandwich on st. Patricks day. They put on a great show every year with bag pipes and lots of delicious Irish food. Since I live down the street from here i go here a lot and it never disappoints.
Was craving buffalo wild wings and glad i chose Mahoneys before my long ride back home.. Staff was more welcoming then expected and the chefs food was the cherry on top.. Boneless chicken with teriyaki & honey bbq sauce was definitely made from scratch with its own twist. Guess you can say im guaranteed to be back . Great price
Stopped in for a quiet Saturday lunch. Only several tabs occupied, waited for about 15 minutes to be noticed by waitress. Food was just ok. Was never able to get a warm cup of coffee, coffee cup was a very small and without a waitress to refill wasnt worth to hassle. Parking in this location is always a challenge.
When on a tues about 645pm. Entered upper level to find No one around, so we ventured down stairs. Their we stood trying to figure out how seating was done. After waiting a few minutes i went to bar and asked about seating and she said to sit anywhere. So our party of four sat in the corner table and waited 10 to 12 minutes for a waitress and no one ever arrived. So we decided to leave due to the fact that from the minute we entered to the time we left about 15 minutes past without Anyone approaching us. I would have to say they have the worst service but the fact is there was no service. We figured we would cut our losses and leave rather than wait and receive bad food and ruin our night out celebrating a birthday.
This is a great place for drinks. There is plenty of room to dance. There are 2 bars and 2 floors. Beautiful wood. The staff is friendly. There is an outside area to smoke. They hold different events for halloween and the other holidays. Just be mindful because theres 5 colleges in the surrounding areas, weekends after 10PM consist of massive inflows of intoxicated college students. Enjoy 😊
Came here by chance with a friend, when the other place he wanted to go to was closed. So, we drove around and the 2nd choice was also closed! Haha So, he remembered that this place was nearby, so we came down by the station to check it out. Hed been to the bar before, but never upstairs. So we opted to have our mid day lunch there. The service was great, the portions were large. I got the Bangers and Mash and he had the Shepherds Pie. Id never had traditional Irish food before except for the fish and chips the locals serve, that arent the best. The food was delicious. Im definitely going to be back more frequently!
I’m honestly pretty shocked by these positive reviews. In Poughkeepsie visiting a friend who just moved to the area, came here to get dinner and planned on staying for drinks. Bartenders are rude and inattentive, acted inconvenienced and bothered by any request. I had to ask for our drinks twice, food order came out missing sides.Ordered a Tito’s and soda (my go to drink) I’m certain they poured Traveler’s Club and charged me for the Tito’s. (Watched them pour from a Tito’s bottle so that’s an issue) We finished our first round of drinks and left. Definitely wouldn’t recommend unless you drink bottled beer or something fool proof.
I ordered the Jack Daniels panini, but received a grilled cheese with steak. The sandwich was essentially flavorless and soggy. I made my order to go and although it came with coleslaw, no fork was included. My husband ordered the Chicken Caesar wrap and said it was good. The fries were tasty and the staff was friendly.
On a quiet Sunday afternoon, we were immediately greeted at the entry by the hostess and seated in a booth. The restaurant was about a quarter full and many wait staff were hanging around. We sat for 12 minutes waiting to be offered even a glass of water. Nothing. I did enjoy reading the back of the menu, however, which detailed the life of Matthew Vassar and the development of Poughkeepsie.
All the staff is amazingly respectful just like it was in 2014. The only thing is if you’re not a familiar face the Security guard that does the searches will consider anything from a dress shirt to a jean jacket a coat and stress you take it to coat check so have $2 on you so you don’t have to hear him cry. Or just go every week so he recognizes you and doesn’t make you take your dress shirt or jacket to coat check
We went in for dinner and a comedy show. We waited by the door and were not greeted for an eternity. When we were finally seated, we were given limited menus called an event menu we asked for the full menu and were told no they only have that one tonight. We didnt like anything on the special limited menu but we ordered anyway because we were there for the comedy show. Then, people around us all had full menus. I questioned the waitress as to why they had full menus and we were told we couldnt. She went to go see her manager. When she came back she told us that the kitchen was busy and they give that menu when they cant accommodate the full menu This was a complete and utter nonsense excuse. They would not even compensate us for any part of the bill, just a sorry. On top of that, service was lacking all the way around. Waitress did not even come back to see if we wanted more water or anything else. I will never return to this restaurant. It was by FAR the nastiest most miserable experience my wife and I had ever been through while dining out. If i could give it 0 stars i would.
Been here a few times but this was the first time for breakfast with friends for St Pattys Day and it was great. The music, Irish dancers and surprisingly with how busy it was, the service was great. The food a little pricey for just a regular 2 egg breakfast but I guess they have to pay for the entertainment some way and Im ok with that. Definitely a good time on St Patricks Day.
Steps from Poughkeepsie train station, large capacity dining/cocktails/bar options for >50 persons, adequate ventilation, hallway to restroom with door leading to outdoor dining, quick service, pandemic gIdelines observed indoor/outdoor, potato cheddar soup,pan-seared salmon filet w/veggies & rice for ~$21 less 3.99% when paying cash@
We had Ahmed as our server and were very disappointed with his knowledge and response to our question of what is in the Irish beef stew. Ahmed responded with Its self explanatory then when I told him what does that mean in knowing what is in the Irish beef stew. I had to ask besides the meat what vegetables are in the stew all I got in response was peas, and carrots. I then asked again is their potatoes in the stew? Then that was it he didnt know anything else. When the food did arrive my stew was filled with some much celery, red peppers, and onions 3 things that I wont eat and also there wasnt any peas like he said so I had to change meals with my husband. He was suppose to have a Jack Daniel panini but came out as a toasted melt. I was able to pick out the onions and eat half of the melt. I would have sent my stew back and asked for the fish and chips but we all fear what happens after food is sent back no matter whos fault the mistake is, but we were very limited on time. We also ordered the corn beef egg rolls which were good but definitely needed to make sure the oil was padded dry with a paper towel so the rolls werent dripping with the oil and when you took a bite it didnt run all down your chin and hand. Our drinks were also poorly attended to were my husbands cup was empty half of the lunch. Ahmed only had 2 tables out of the 4 that was filled at the restaurant. Also Ahmed was overly concerned watching the World Cup as we were trying to get his attention to order our food. This waiter needs to be retrained in customer service and restaurant etiquette. We did let him know we were disappointed and that he needed to know the menu and not ever to respond with Its self explanatory to any customer.
Poppin on a Saturday night. Crowded downstairs but lots of space regardless. Hours say 4 am but we arrived at around 2:58 and were denied entry at first. Bouncers were nice enough to let us in but insisted doors closed at 3. For people who had never been there, it felt slightly misleading since we were going off info from Google page.Bartender was quick and accommodating. Made my drink wrong at first but corrected it free of charge. Would come back.
Music was great. Its a college Pub. The security guard, Kenny, was obnoxiously rude to my girlfriend. He did not apologize for bumping her, while trying to break up a fight. He started chest bumping her like a dude. I rather pay good money to eat at Shadows and enjoy the view. Never again!!!!
This had to have been one of the worst meals, or collective set of meals I have ever had served to me at any restaurant, for any price. 4 meals were ordered and served, and not one of them was correct. Every steak was cooked improperly. 2 entrees were ordered of of the specials menu. They, believe it or not were the worst. Not only were the rib-eyes not cook to order, the potatoes and the vegetables were scorched from obviously sitting under some heating shelf for God only knows how long! This debacle of an evening out was brought to the attention of our waiter whom tried to remedy the $160 plus dollar bill with a couple of glasses of the house wine! Poor!
Food was reasonably priced and the combination beef, chicken, shrimp, and vegetable skewers were big enough to share with my wife. They also had a pretty good selection of beer and wine for us to choose from. You also have a choice of sitting upstairs, or downstairs where they have a jukebox and a dance floor. They even host a comedy show some nights. The location is close to Metro-Norths Poughkeepsie station. Individuals can choose to drive here, or even travel by train from New York City at Grand Central Terminal.
Service spotty on the porch, which is not overlooking the Hudson but the Poughkeepsie Train Station parking lot. Cant complain, knew what we were getting. The drinks were tardy, but theeded food was delivered hot and quickly. The salad was fresh but my bangers and mash which did come with a side of beans looked like the inside of the Who slbum (those that know will recognize the image). The sausages were fried dry and Im not quite sure if the mashed potatoes were real or made recently. The lake of lukewarm beans surrounded the bangers and mash. The waitress Marisa, was really helpful and kind and nice The restaurant was busy - graduation season in Poughkeepsie (Vassar, Marist, Bard etc). But we had fun but would not return.
Go here for the night life a lot and the security guards are disgustingly rude. Dont let anyone in who merely stumbles, especially girls. I have seen them carry out girls from the bar more than often. Left a girl with a serious bruise once. Ive also heard of one of them shocking out a student once. Great place just horrible security guards.
Awful experience. Was giving false information after traveling from 45 mins away. As rude as can be. Do not recommend to anyone. Pat the “general manager” was rude, gave false information and was no help what so ever!*Update*Since I can not respond to what you wrote back, - not once did you tell me that. You and the security guards were ridiculously rude at the door. And you could still read the interm. But not ONCE did you even try to. You just kept pushing us away after driving 45 minutes to give YOU our business. What a mistake that was. And I wont make it ever again! And I will make sure my friends dont as well.
I have been to Mahoneys quite a few times to eat and drink, great place. If you want a great experience try going there to see a comedy show. I am a professional comedian so I can say this with no reservation, the comics they have perform are first rate. You will have a great time. Ive seen many shows there, my favorites were Nick DiPaolo and more recently, Kurt Metzger. Check their website periodically because they are always adding more shows, in the near future they will have some great acts including Gilbert Gottfried, Dan Soder and Big Jay Oakerson. The ticket prices are very reasonable and food and drink prices the same. You will spend half of what you would going down to NYC and the performers are the same, if not better.
Mahoneys is high class fair for no class environment and normal bar food quality. Advertises as a steakhouse but its certainly not known for their quality. Price shock resorted to a fish and chips dish costing about $25 and the soda bread was like eating the desert sand. Definitely not fresh.

2022-06-01Service was really good, friendly and fast. The burger was OK. Nothing Id come back for to be honest, a good standard burger that couldve been a bit juicier. Probably press them down on the griddle squeezing out the juices like many places do. Anyhow, for a quick bite and or drink before or after a train ride this place is decent.

2022-07-04I was there with my family 8 years ago, place was fantastic, went back this weekend and its still perfect. Food was spot on atmosphere still great Staff friendly. The place is right across the parking lot from the Metro-North Amtrak station in Poughkeepsie, very convenient.

2022-03-29Was here on 3/28/22 for dinner. While at dinner my boyfriend and I were informed that there was a complimentary shuttle from the restaurant to the Bert Kreischer show at the Civic Center! We both ordered steaks and they were cooked PERFECTLY. It took a while to get our drink order and the bar was out of Pomegranate Martinis but our server, J.D. was very helpful and accommodating. J.D. suggested another drink option and was very knowledgeable when we asked him about the local area! Mahoney’s was clean and the staff here are friendly. It was busy, but J.D. made sure to check in with us to make sure our food and drinks came out well and was an excellent server! Thanks J.D. & the rest of the Mahoney’s staff for an excellent dining experience, we will be back!

2021-09-27Stopped in on on our way home and definitely an excellent choice. From service, to wait time, to food coming out and entertainment. We happened to stop in on a night with live music and riverdance. Food was delicious and well priced. We loved it so much the following weekend we took our family for dinner. I look forward to many more nights here.

2021-09-09The place is good. We got soups first. My husband had potato cheddar soup which was delicious. I got chili, it’s was great as well. I ordered shepherd’s pie and my husband got fish and chips. For some reason I had a different expectation of the dish I ordered. I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would. It wasn’t bad, no. It was good, but just again I had a different expectation. I guess it was a little too watery for me. Fish and chips was good. I switched with my husband at some point and he enjoyed shepherd’s pie. The stuff was great!

2021-08-10Food was good, had the shepherds pie , which was good but could have been mixed better , one 1/2 was meat & watery , other 1/2 was meat with a lot of peas, had a good taste though. The chili is also goo. Nice to sit outside & see the trains pull into the station. Also has indoor seating upstairs & downstairs.

2022-03-26I had a surprisingly delightful time. Its a wonderful space the meal was delicious- I had very good corned beef and cabbage- and some chocolate thingy for dessert. It was a welcoming space. The service was over the top excellent... above and beyond good.Definitely a must return to type place.PLEASE NOTE THERE IS FREE PARKING RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE PLACE, ITS ONLY A FEW SPACES BUT ITS FREE PARKING.BUT IF YOU PARK IN THE ADJACENT PARKING LOT AS I DID, YOU NEED A PARKING PASS, OTHERWISE YOULL GET A $20 TICKET -- WHICH I GOT. 😳🤦.THE LESSON IS READ THE SIGNS CLEARLY WHEREVER YOU PARK YOUR VEHICLE.

2022-01-13Love this place. Great live music, amazing food that makes you think youre actually in Ireland (I highly recommend the fish & chips or sausage & mash; both have the authentic Irish flavor) and the ambiance is really cool as its a renovated brewery. It has lots of space on a couple of floors so its great for an intimate night out.

2021-11-10Attended my sisters wedding. It was clean, decorated very nice and the food was amazing, and was happy there was so much parking.
