I was absolutely blown away by the service of this team. They were phenomenal! In just a few words I will say they were highly professional, efficient, effective, courteous, and the worked well together. I would, with no hesitation use their services again, and I highly recommend them for any move. Did I mention a move from Brooklyn, NY to Philadelphia was complete in 6 hours?? Mind blowing! First time hiring movers and the service was exceptional! Nothing bad to say at all, they fast, efficient, extremely careful with our belongings, furniture and fragile items, which I was nervous about at first. Everything was delivered safely, nothing was broken or damaged and they assembled everything as it was. I was completely in shock the level of professionalism and care that the guys had and how they made everything look so easy. Moving is always stressful, but Jesus and his team made it a wonderful, smooth experience. Miles was able to book them for a last minute date, and he was always responsive. They arrived right on time, wrapped everything delicate, worked tirelessly to load the truck, even in the pouring rain.( Covered the floors so the house didn’t get muddy). They went straight to the new location and worked smoothly and with good humor moving many, many items to the third-floor. Friendly, professional, pleasant— highly recommend.
I’ve moved many times and this was by far the best experience I’ve had. The Make a Move team was amazing from start to finish. Miles was always immediately responsive in planning the move and keeping me updated. The online payment system was very easy and I paid exactly what I was quoted. I moved from NYC to FL: the pickup team packed my fragile items with more care than I ever expected, and the delivery team made sure every single thing was in a convenient place or put away in a closet before leaving. Make A Move Moving company was AMAZING! They were incredibly professional and polite. They took the utmost care in packing and nothing was damaged and we had a lot of art that could have been.Marko, who was the moving foreman, could not have been better and went above and beyond in helping. Miles was incredible to work with and he made every effort to ensure that my move was stress-free as possible where he could help. He offered me a really generous price for my move to New Jersey from Queens and it included a lot of services that I hadnt expected, but was SO helpful in facilitating the move and making it super quick and worry-free. It let me focus on packing and spending my effort on what really needed my attention. He was great to work with, super responsive, and so professional!As for the day of the move, Alejandro and his team were great - he came up, did a review of everything, and formulated a plan with his team to execute the move. I basically did nothing except take care of the minor things I had left on my list and answered questions they had. When it came to moving into my new building, they tackled it in less than two hours. Everything was smooth sailing and I really recommend them!
Make A Move was fabulous during our recent move. Miles was extremely communicative leading up to the move, so I knew exactly what to expect and the team was totally prepared.The team was prompt in their arrival, respectful, upbeat, and focussed. They were extremely careful with all our belongings but were incredibly fast moving everything out. Best moving experience ever. I have moved nearly 10 times in the past 15 years but this has been by far the smoothest experience. With 2 small kids, a move across states, storage for a month and last minute changes in our plans, my wife and I were already juggling a lot. These guys accommodated our many changes without issue. They are very professional, bring a lot of care and take away a huge part of the stress of moving. Highly, highly recommend.

Whenever I received service thats so good, that the communication was smooth and the experience exceeded expectations, Id be super satisfied while slightly confused: am I still in New York?The moving experience I had yesterday was one of these gems. The manager Miles found out all the ways that would work out and he made sure to check in routinely before and during the moving. Our foreman Jesus was wonderful, he catered to all our needs and was very detail-oriented. His team (Milie, Ricky, and Gary) were second to none, they packed and moved as if they were in a competition with time (anyone had ever hired a person from TaskRabbit for packing and watched in misery the person wrapping 20 pieces of dishes in 3 hours, anyone?). Everything were in good protection and delivered properly.Id definitely recommend this company, and if I need, Ill work with them again.
I had a fantastic experience from start to finish with these guys. Miles was super helpful throughout the process of booking and Dobi and his crew were friendly and efficient. We booked both packing and moving, and everything was packed with care - nothing broke during the move. We had a lot of marble furniture and antique glassware, and it all survived in exactly the same condition it left our apartment in. I was very impressed, and will definitely recommend Make a Move to any friends who may be moving in the future.
Great experience from start to finish. Miles was personable and professional on our calls all while ensuring we would stay within our budget. The quote was a good amount higher than other movers, but well worth it. Move day was quick and flawless. Vladimir, Daniil, and the team arrived exactly on time and had the one bedroom apartment loaded in the truck less than two hours later. Move-in was tricky due to our location, but they handled it without issue. They even went above and beyond and moved a heavy packaged, delivered to the new place, up to the apartment. All around stellar service.
My work often requires me to move, and that stresses me out. Moving to NYC was exactly the opposite of what I expected. This time, the movers from the Make A Move Moving team performed as if it was their own move. They arrived on schedule, with all of the necessary packing equipment and protection materials, as well as high-quality boxes for my kitchen and all other items. They took great care and speed in packing my belongings, ensuring that everything arrived safely at the new location without any issues despite some obstacles they were facing with timing restrictions. Make a Move Moving handled my two most recent moves for me, one from NYC to CT, and one within CT, and I could not be happier with their service.Working with Miles to coordinate the move was a quick and professional process, but also a friendly one. I recommend Make A Move for their highly professional and friendly approach to our move. They helped my family of five relocate in NYC. They were right on time- in fact a few mins early. They were polite and organized. They did detailed walk-throughs with me to understand what needed to be done, and they checked to make sure things were done as desired. Miles communicated throughout the process and was super responsive to all administrative requirements for my building. Thankfully, they also solved multiple unexpected problems - including finding a way to bring our large sofa up 7 stories when it did not fit in our elevator. They added a second truck when it was needed. They assembled a new bed frame from scratch in a last minute request. They corrected mistakes I made on where furniture goes. And most importantly, they moved all of our things safely and soundly and on time. Miles, Ismael, Vladimir and the entire team were courteous and focused and I would work with them again in a minute. I am so satisfied by their service. The dispatch staff was very kind and well responsive. No problem to schedule and helped us to provide the best price for us. We used them twice within two months and we will use this company again! The movers arrived on time and worked so fast in a professional manner. We have ikea bunk bed and ikea day bed. I did a long-distance move back in May and from the consultation to the actual move (from and to), the entire process was extremely smooth. Special shout out to Miles and the entire Team for making this move one of the best experiences Ive had. All my stuff (25+ boxes) came on time and in perfect condition, and Miles was there with me/patiently answering all my questions every step of the way. Truly grateful and once again, thanks everyone! 2022-06-01Make a Move Moving we’re 1000% worth every penny! Specifically Miles and his colleagues Joseph, Mile, Ricardo & Jesus were absolutely outstanding.They moved my parents from Florida to the Hudson Valley and had to deal with very delicate antiques, art and some very heavy and rare furniture that needed custom crating. They were so careful and understanding and went above and beyond each and every step of the way. We have never worked with a better mover or a more considerate and professional team. From quote to delivery Miles checked in with us and Joseph and his team checked items with us as they packed and advised us of any concerns. Nothing was damaged and we can’t recommend them enough in fact we would give them 10 stars if we could-so if you are looking for a really fantastic mover look no further call Miles!

First time hiring movers and Miles walked us through what to expect, let us send pictures of our items and called/texted answering all of our questions. The movers were friendly, moved so quickly, truly hustled and took care of our stuff!! They wrapped everything up better than we ever would. We were so impressed with his customer service and put at ease.From booking ,during packing and completion of move we were in contact. He chose the perfect team for our move.Our team leader was Jesus Zamora, we were given a time frame of arrival and he was on time (even earlier) ready and eager to work. Jesus walked us through the home and as we pointed out several valuable antiques. He assured us they would be handled with extra care and well protected during packing and moving. He then introduced us to his team members Mile,Emanuel, Ricardo and Alejandro. They were very pleasant and professional. Each box was packed with great care paying attention to each item. Boxes were marked with each room and enclosed contents.They used top quality products which was very impressive and assuring. Our antiques were handled expertly with great care and well protected. Each team member Jesus, Mile,Emanuel,Ricardo and Alejandro were very professional, courteous and friendly. They worked so well together they had a plan and executed with military precision.Thank you for making our move stress free and a pleasant experience! 2022-05-24The team at Make a Move impressed me right away; Miles, my salesperson was so thorough, professional, transparent with all costs and set more than reasonable expectations, all the while offering anything we might need and delivering it to us! He also calculated the exact size storage unit we would need and I am glad I listened…we just fit!The men that handled our items (Jacob, Mile, Jesus, Abdul) could not have been kinder, more courteous or respectful of our things and the stress of the day. They took care in wrapping all the furniture and handled it all with the utmost of care. I highly recommend Miles and everyone at Make a Move; they are in my opinion well worth the cost for you can’t put a price on peace of mind.

2022-02-05Ive used Make A Move for multiple moves and wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to anyone. From large jobs with multiple stops to smaller scale two-bedroom moves theyve impressed me with their excellent customer service, from the planning/quoting to the actual day of move everything was handled at my convenience, expeditiously and with the utmost care. Ive had them move pre-packed apartments and had them do the packing for me while I was out of town, in both cases everything arrived in tact, accounted for and well organized. Their services are very reasonably priced as well!

2022-07-01Absolutely loved my experience. We were moving long distance from NYC out West and we were very nervous about the process. Make a Move was the 3rd company we spoke to and within 5 minutes we knew they were the one. Their energy, professionalism, level of care, and safety protocols absolutely beat everyone we had spoken to. The process itself was fast, reliable, and we received everything in the same condition it was picked up. I would hire them any time I am moving again and cant recommend enough.

2022-05-25The Make-a-Move team totally blew me away. Hands down, best moving company I’ve ever worked with. They are the dream team you always hope show up when you book professional movers. The service from start to finish was incredible. To start with, Miles was very communicative and responded to my questions right away. We had a video walk-through a and Miles helped us identify all the items that need to be specially packed and put together a thorough estimate for us on how many boxes we would need and how big a crew. We had a long distance move with a crew of 5 guys, including our amazing foreman, Alejandro. They showed up early, were organized, and knew exactly what to do to make the move as easy and efficient as possible. Make-a-Move has super strong boxes for packing, which they dropped off ahead of time at our residence so we could pack, along with all the packing paper and tape we needed. When Alejandro’s team arrived, they were very organized and got to work loading boxes, packing up our specialty items such as our glass-top furniture, TVs, and precious artwork. You know how there are always those random things you don’t know how to pack? Your vacuum, floor lamps, or sporting equipment? These guys not only know how to pack it, but they show up prepared for it with the right boxes and materials to safely transport it to your new home. I was so impressed by that. They disassembled our furniture and put it back together exactly in our new place. All our boxes went to the right rooms and the guys were so careful when moving our things so as to not scratch the walls or floors. Everyone was incredibly professional, friendly, efficient, and had positive attitudes the entire time. Moving is stressful and I started the day wanting to fast-forward until the end – but with Make-a-Move, you don’t have to feel that way, because they get it done fast and they get it done the right way. They totally alleviated any stress I had about the moving process and I can’t say thank you enough to them! Highly recommend – I would give them 10 gold stars if I could as the service was above and beyond.
