Extremely responsive, efficient and effective dental services. I went for a chipped tooth and it got fixed right away while at the same time identifying another issue that had been overlooked by other dentists over the past years.
I think Dr. Jalbout is a wonderful dentist and his staff is excellent. Everyone is very caring and accommodating!
Just had my teeth cleaned by Chante, at Dr. Jalbout’s practice. She is an excellent dental hygienist and I have been seeing her there for years. Dr. Jalbout takes great care of my mouth and my partner/wife’s.3/7/22 dr. Jalbout just saved my tooth, and it was not easy. I am so pleased with the way he and Camilla kept me comfortable and informed as they did the work.
Going to the Dentist isnt something I enjoy at all. After a 2 year hiatus, due to the pandemic, I was in need of some serious teeth therapy. I was recommended (by a coworker) to Dr. Jalbout and his team. What a great experience. I was at ease, comfortable, welcomed, and nurtured from the very beginning. My anxiety level went from a 10 to a 2. Thank you to an outstanding staff! I have found a new home for my future dental needs.
The best dental experience I have had by far. I always get excited for my appointments at Making You Smile. I leave every appointment more confident about my smile. The administrative and dental team are both very professional and friendly. The space is clean and tidy and employees have high tech PPE. The quality of dental service I have received has been really great. I think Ziad Jalbout is an amazing doctor, I appreciate that he made sure I understood everything before starting, and that made me feel more comfortable. lastly the quality of dental work is superb. Im not the type of person who review things, but when I got the message to review Dr. Ziad Jalbout, I just couldnt let it go. Im very scared of dentists but as soon as I started seeing Dr. Ziad I noticed right from the start the difference in treatment and efficiency. Ive had the pleasure of recommending him to family and friends and everyone says the same thing to me, Ive never been to a better dentist than him.Yesterday I was in his office and when I was being treated by Dr. Ziad I thought: my god, how is this possible, Im even starting to like dentists...I cannot fail to mention the Dental Hygienists and the team he has. Im a huge fan of this office! Ive been to a-lot of dental offices in my years of being in NYC, and Making You Smile is by far my favorite. They are extremely professional, kind, clean, and consistently do a great job. I live in BK and trek it out to mid-town just to visit them rather than finding a new office closer. Highly recommend!
Dr J is AMAZING. And a super nice guy.I was fortunate enough to meet him by a recommendation from a friend after my dentist retired. I let my teeth go for several years and was in bad shape. Had an Abscess and had to do something. DR J restored my mouth.12 crowns and one implant. I dread the dentist but Dd J made it a comfortable experience.I NEVER write reviews for anything but I had to for DR. J and to all those out there who don’t know him and are not sure about the experience they will have.Their staff is great , friendly, professional.The hygienist was great too. Very attentive and comforting. Explaining all that’s going on and concerned for my comfort.You can’t go wrong with Dr. J and making you smile.Mark Filon.Patient for life.
I have no longer been working in the city because of the pandemic but still drive over an hour for the best hygienist (Chantea) and dentist in NY! Also the most sanitary place Ive ever been with the staff all in fully hooded masks.
Dr. Jalbout and his team are excellent. I’ve never been more comfortable with a dental team; I’ve almost fallen asleep in the chair during big procedures. They are efficient, attentive, and caring, and Dr. J works with a precision that Ive never witnessed. I’ve moved further and further away from Dr. Jalbout’s office over time and still commute to the city to see him. He’s that good.

Best dentist Ive ever been to in my whole life (a life with a lot of dental work - implants, root canals, etc). Extremely professional studio, great staff and service, exceptional team that works together to provide a seamless experience. I always feel well taken care of, that the standards of everyone on staff are extremely high, and that they deeply care about your oral health. Dr. Jalbout is amazing and I highly recommend him. Worth the price. He solved what turned out to be a very minor problem (flossing incorrectly) - which other dentists recommended a gum graft for! Since going here I cant imagine seeing another dentist. All of the hygienists are top-notch as well.

I cant say enough about how great everyone is at Dr. Jalbouts office. I never thought Id actually like going to the dentist, but it is a breeze every time I am there. The staff is super accomodating and I never have an issue getting an appointment. Ive gone for cleanings as well as some dental work and would highly recommend Dr. Jalbout to anyone!
If having a tooth pulled can ever be called a good experience, having my tooth pulled at Making You Smile was. It was pretty much pain-free and I really appreciated the way Dr. Jalbout explained after-extraction care to me. The staff at the front desk was also very responsive and helpful.
I love going into this office. Everyone is warm, kind, and helpful. The dentist actually listens to you, and as odd as it may sound to say going to the dentist is actually a pleasant experience with these guys. Highly recommend.

I have been Dr. Ziad Jalbouts patient for approximately 10 years. During that time he has given me excellent care every visit. I should say at the outset that Dr. Jalbout and his entire office staff have been extraordinarily diligent in the era of Covid-19. The PPE worn by all is state of the art, and the air in the office is constantly recirculated. I feel safe and well-looked after at all times.I saw Dr. Jalbout yesterday for the extraction of an infected tooth and the placement of a bone graft in preparation for an implant. He told me what was going on every step of the way, answering all my questions thoroughly. During the procedure, he and his assistant Diana worked hard to keep me comfortable. And, considering that I was undergoing dental surgery, I was.This morning I am feeling no pain. Although I was prescribed pain medication, I have so far taken none. The post-op instructions posted on the Making You Smile NYC website are thorough, and I have found it easy to follow them.In short, I can recommend Dr. Jalbout (and his entire staff) highly and with no reservations. He is the best dentist who has ever treated me.

They will not only remind when it is time for a new appointment, but suggest times in their upcoming slate. Dr. J. and his whole staff are so friendly, helpful, and informative. This is a great choice if you want a skilled dental provider who will be understanding about your need to plan for the costs of more advanced work and will not be judgy if its been ages since you saw a dentist. Dr. Jalbout and his staff are truly the best dental office I have ever been to.Each visit is greeted with a genuine smile, and hello. You can really tell that they care about their patients, and our dental health.Due to a previous bad experience, I was anxious during a previous visit, and they were so patient with me, and made sure that I felt comfortable.Dr. Jalbout also saw I had an issue with my wisdom teeth causing pain and serious issues, to where another dentist did not. After having them taken out, I have far less pain and teeth grinding.It makes me wish I had found them sooner!I am incredibly appreciative of this office, the beautiful personalities, and quality of care.

So grateful to Dr. Jalbout and his team! After moving to NYC 3 years ago I struggled to find my go-to dentist. Especially one that I trusted to do some straightening and veneer work. Dr. Jalbout was so genuine and professional! His whole team was very warm and welcoming and I appreciate the transparency and flexibility with the cost (Especially after being over charged at other NYC dentists). I use to dread the dentist and was putting off this procedure but now I feel like I’m in great hands :)
I had an emergency on the weekend and could not get in touch with my normal dentist... I called Making you Smile on Saturday morning and was seen within 2 hours of my call... the staff was so nice and I was well taken care of. I was in and out within an hour and my tooth was fixed- I am so grateful that I was taken in on the weekend even though I was not a regular patient. The staff and doctors were amazing and I would recommend Making you Smile to anyone!

Dr. Jalbout has been taking care of my teeth for almost 4 years. In that time I have chipped a tooth, knocked front teeth loose, gotten Invisalign and I rely on him for my 2x yearly regular cleanings. Dr. J has handled it all with masterful professional skill and a truly caring personality. I still cannot thank him enough for the amazing results of his work. His office staff is incredibly helpful and they always make the visits enjoyable. Dr. J has made me smile more on a daily basis and I would highly recommend him to anyone.
This is the best dentist Ive ever had. They get 5 stars because they check all the boxes: a dentist who is friendly, thorough, and a clear communicator; a front office that is organized, helpful and proactive; and dental hygienists who are gentle on your mouth and very pleasant company. I originally chose them for their offices proximity to my work, but even though I now work in Brooklyn, Making You Smile is well worth the trip.
Dr. Jalbout is by far the best dentist I ever saw - he is personable and pleasant, but above all professional and competent. I had the misfortune of having two root canals done in in the same year and both turned out to be pretty complicated - hes taken incredible care of me, seen me at a few minutes notice when needed, followed up multiple times by phone to check-in on my status and overall provided great care! His technicians and the office manager are alike professional and personable to the point where any unpleasantness/fear/anxiety I might have had before a dentist visit is gone.
Dr Jalbout is very talented and kind. I have had a lot of work done by him over the years including two implants and a number of crowns. Most of my upper front teeth are crowns. People cannot believe that they are not my natural teeth! I recommend Dr Jalbout highly. The office staff are also wonderful.

I cannot sing enough praises about Dr. Jalbout and his entire team! From the front desk staff (Josie and Carmen are the sweetest!), the hygienist, and the dental assistants..they are all a bunch of rockstars. Truly professional and with the best bedside manners. I recently switched to Dr. Jalbouts office after the worst experience from my first dentist, who suggested the most outrageous treatment plan for me; I would have had to pay between $6,000-$8,000 out of pocket even with insurance! I was extremely skeptical, and decided to give Dr. Jalbout a try; I am so happy with my decision to switch over. His second opinion made all the difference, and I am so relieved I switched to his office. He is very practical, highly professional, efficient, and has an amazing bedside manner. Ive recommended him to my colleagues whove had horrible dentist experiences such as myself.They take exceptional care, and no accommodation is too little; they even apply chapstick on for you (shout out to Justina)! Dr. Jalbout is a wonderful dentist. Ive been going to him for about three years, even though I moved to California. As soon as I know Im coming back to New York for a visit, I book an appointment! Which, come to mention it, is easy to do because they have evening and Saturday hours.He is caring and thorough and I always feel like Im in the best hands. I trust him more than any almost any medical professional Ive seen. He makes sure I wont feel any pain before he starts doing anything. He explains everything hes doing, and answers my questions eagerly. And I ask questions! He is very transparent about costs, and makes sure you understand the price differences if he presents you with treatment options. His staff is also happy to discuss insurance, procedure costs, and payment options.Everyone in his office is remarkably friendly. They all seem happy to work there. Most importantly, I never feel like anyone is rushing to get to the next patient. I know that they all care that Im comfortable, and that my teeth look and feel as good as possible before I leave.

Came to Dr. Jalbout because of sensitivity to a molar tooth and thought I had a cavity. My friend recommended him to me, and even though he was considered out of network for insurance purposes, I decided to give him a try.Turns out it was my best decision I made because it was honestly the best dental experience I had. He was very responsive to my concerns, and did not push unnecessary procedures on me. He took time to explain each procedure, and explained the results to the x-rays and pictures very thoroughly. He also took the time to give me several options, and took into consideration that I was paying out of pocket since he was out of network, and told me the most economical way of proceeding with my issue. He removed my filling expertly and re-filled it again in an efficient manner. Most importantly though, he was very patient with me when trying to correct the bite after filling the tooth. I was in and out within the hour, and never felt pressured with time.The receptionist and dental assistant were all very friendly, and very caring - I would definitely go again.
I started seeing Dr. Jalbout about a year ago, when my long-term dentist retired. I have been completely happy with his professionalism, his knowledge, his manner, his skill, and his caring. When I had a dental emergency on a weekend night, he immediately returned my call and was completely supportive.
I went there with some thought because of the Covid-19 but I was so relieved at my first step in. everyone was so careful, clean, everyone who works there was wearing a special helmet and they check temperature and oxygen level when you get in. Dt. Ziad is a great dentist, he explained everything detailed, answered all my question, and gave me exactly what my mouth needs. He wasnt like hes doing because its his job. He listens, he understands, he asks and then gives the best treatment by explaining why you need it. Id recommend to anyone who needs a dentist. And if you forget your mask even for a moment, they remind you :)
Finding a trustworthy and competent yet user friendly dentist in Manhattan was quite challenging.. Till I met Dr. Jalbout. Dr. Jalbout is a real gem! He has really great bedside manners and takes the time to explain every procedure before he does it, often giving you the details as he is progressing, and always always follows up a day or two later to make sure that all is ok. His staff is also terrific - from the office manager who helps with scheduling to the assistants - they are so friendly and nice. I also love that they are always on time! No crazy long waits like at so many other doctors offices around Manhattan. Im a big fan of Dr. Jalbouts practice!
Very rare to find. Dr Jalbout is really talented in what he is doing and finds the right people to work for him. Professional, super organized, super friendly, exceptional office.
Dr. Jalbout is very professional, gentle, friendly and accommodating. He truly cares about you as a patient.He thoroughly reviews your x-rays with you. He takes the time to explain everything about your treatment, what he is doing and why he is doing it. He checks in often to make sure that you aren’t feeling any pain and that you are completely comfortable before proceeding. He checks his work meticulously and makes adjustments until he is satisfied and everything is perfect. He also always follows up to make sure things are going smoothly after procedures or when you have questions. He texts you to check in at the end of the day or over the weekend to see if your teeth are OK. He gives out his cell phone number in case something goes wrong. And when you do call him in case of emergency like I did when I had an unbearable toothache, he does meet you at his office at 10pm to start your root canal treatment.Other plusses: Everything is ultra hygienic – very important for me. His staff is incredibly friendly as well. The dental assistants are very attentive and considerate. Cybele, the patient coordinator, keeps the place running like clockwork with always a big smile on her face. They are also open every other Saturday, which is great if you cant make it during the week.

I see a lot of doctors for myriad issues and this one is my personal favorite. Top rated dentist in NC messed up a cavity filling of mine seemingly irreparably and didnt listen when I told her I was still feeling pain long afterwards. Dr. Jalbout managed to fix the filling and blew my mind. I take for granted that I have not had pain now for the past two years. He can even do full braces. Hes a savant among dentists!

Dr. Jalbout is such a conscientious practitioner. I had very bad experiences with previous dentists (to the point that I needed a root canal) so I was very anxious about going to a new dentist. After a lot of internet research, I chose to see Dr. Jalbout for an emergency filling replacement. He was so professional and caring during this procedure, that I chose to come back to him for the eventual root canal that I needed (due to my previous dentist). During the entire process, he was extremely patient in explaining procedures and answering my many questions. Unlike other dentists who just make you sit in the chair and dont tell you whats going on, Dr. Jalbout explained what he was doing and why he needed to do it. Dr. Jalbout has made me trust dentists again! I would highly recommend Dr. Jalbout to any friends or family.

2022-05-09I’m not scared of dentists, but I never liked them. It’s always been uncomfortable, even painful, experiences. Until I came here…They’re organized, clean, and efficient. Not just when you’re there, but even with paperwork and insurance matters. The cleaning is quick but not so fast you feel like they’re trying to get rid of you. They’re gentle and always make sure you’re comfortable. Everyone is so kind and patient.I honestly won’t be going to another dentist, ever.

2022-03-24I had a lot of work done with Dr. Ziad J. Cosmetic dentistry to be specific. Many appointments to have bridge work done as well as two crowns placed on my front two teeth. I was very happy with Dr. Ziad’s work and attention to detail. He’s an excellent cosmetic dentist. And I’ve been to a lot of them. After finishing all of the work done on me I was happy and pleased with his services and staff. If you want to get cosmetic work done, he is the man to talk to without a doubt. Total perfectionist.

2022-04-09My colleague referred me here a few years ago, and I have been coming here for cleanings ever since. They are very professional, efficient, and and I feel very safe with their Covid protocols. I normally hate going to the dentist but their hygienists make me feel very comfortable and even offer numbing gel for sensitivity. I highly recommend Making You Smile!

2022-05-06I underwent the process of having veneers applied to only two of my teeth as well as an Enameloplasty on my canines. I had always been insecure about these teeth due to their size relative to the rest of my smile. Dr. Ziad Jalbout was very receptive and responsive to my hopes and concerns, and he remained candid about what the process would entail as well as why one type of procedure may be a better option for me than another. After the application of the permanents, I had expressed concerns about the sizing once I had had a chance to observe them more closely in the mirror while at home, and he immediately offered to carve out time the following morning to resolve this without any additional charge. Through this process, his staff was also very kind and accommodating. Im so happy with this experience and my new smile!

2021-07-25The Staff at Making You Smile is terrific. They are friendly, professional and accommodating. I showed up this week, spontaneously (w/o an appointment) and was able to see Dr. Ziad Jalbout for a permanent filling with minimal inconvenience ... I didnt have an appointment yet the staff made it work for me. Less than 1/2 hour late I was in the chair and under Dr Jalbouts care. I was so happy about that. Most importantly, I feel safe at their facilities because of the strict Covid -19 precautions they take.Their procedure rooms are meticulous & sanitized. Best of all, Dr Ziad Jalbout is professional, knowledgeable and competent. I recommended him to a couple of my friends & they feel similar. We are all very satisfied.
