Mamas Brick Oven Pizzeria in other cities:
I had The most delicious meal and amazing experience tonight!I had The most delicious baked clams as an appetizer and for my entree I had linguine marinara with shrimp and clams. The service was great, friendly and very engaging! I highly recommend this gem! I cant Wait to go back! 🔤⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Placed an order to pick up. I placed it around 6 oclock. I was told to wait 45- 50 minutes. I showed up at 7. They didnt start my order until I arrived. They took payment, then told me they couldnt tell me how long the wait was. Its almost 30 minutes later, Im still waiting for my food . They did compensate me for waiting, by providing a gift card. Either way, people were coming in ordering after me, keep in mind I phoned in, and recieved their meals before I did. The courtesy of the guy doesnt makeup for whats done. When I recieved my food, a piece of my order was still missing. Horrible experience.
The food is just as good as the staff. The whole staff was just phenomenal. They were nice and handled whatever we needed. The food has always been delicious. Whether its been pizza, subs or appetizers the food has never disappointed. No matter what you get on the menu the food has always been top notch.
I’ve ordered sesame crust from here before and it was made how it should be. Today it looks like they forgot and just sprinkled sesames on the edge of the sauce near the crust to make it stick. If you are going to charge me extra for sesame crust and not properly make it don’t bother offering it to your customers. Very poor execution and obviously they don’t care about the quality of their take out orders. Have some quality control please.
Terrible place of establishment. Cant believe still in business. Only went here because it was close and needed a pie for the work crew past minute. $19.54 for a cheese pie what a rip off for what I received. This place has no regard for customer service. Placed an order over the phone with 20minute wait time. Arrived 30mins after the order was placed. I could tell they were busy and didnt have my order ready. They give up searching go and pull a pie out from under the counter and put it in oven to reheat. Gave them benefit of doubt that it was a pie made for the store just out the oven few minutes ago that they were just rewarming up. Wrong was a terrible reheated pie probably reheated more than once. To add insult to injury pie tiny didnt even touch the edge of the box like 2 inches away all sides around and it tasted dry. Dont waste your time or money. Not the same place I was use to paying top dollar for a better tasting pizza like they use to be years ago.
This this restaurant and pizza place has amazing food. I love the different kinds of pizza that they have here. Their penne alla vodka is really delicious. My son loves the pasta here as well. We order take out and delivery but it is a lot faster to pick up the food than it is to wait for delivery because its usually over a 40 minute wait for delivery. The staff here is usually really nice.
First time ordering from here & it was amazing. I looked online and saw a few locations but I ordered from the North Babylon restaurant off of deer park ave. The woman that helped me was very kind and patient while taking my order over the phone. I ordered for pickup and the store is very up kept taking all measure to stay super clean especially with everything going on. The food was great !!!! Best Italian food in town & the kids loved the pizza! they have some great deals going on I would highly recommend to everyone in the area. You won’t regret !
Had an amazing experience here! I just moved to the area and the service was excellent. The ladies who work here, Nicole and Amanda went above and beyond to make sure everything is the way i wanted it! The pizza was cooked to perfection and the cooks make their dishes look fantastic and taste incredible! Loved it here and recommend highly!!
We had takeout today ,my chicken franchise with angle hair was very dry, no sauce. The shrimp parm hero the same way. The gorgonzola salad was VERY SMALL, seemed like it was just thrown together at the last minute. How ever the gnocchi entre was very good.Ive eaten there many times and weve catered events from there and usually the food is good, especially when you eat there.
Don’t order from this place. The pizza we requested was disgustingly bland. We asked for garlic and the pie was covered in it. A little bit of garlic is fine, not to have it showered in it. Their garlic knots were cold and stale dinner rolls. Even when I instructed them to add extra garlic to the garlic knots, they didn’t even taste like garlic. Dry and poor. I guess they bankrupt themselves of garlic from all the garlic shoved on the pie. The wings were the only saving grace. Nice and crispy, however they put buffalo sauce on the side like the lazy workers that they are and the sauce tasted more like somebody mixed ketchup and BBQ sauce. No spice whatsoever.
The pizza is excellent. However I was very disappointed in the meatball parmigiana hero. They put 4 Swedish size meatballs in the hero. They were half the size of a normal meatball. Also, it was dry, hardly any sauce or mozzarella in the hero. Not worth the money. I still gave it 4 stars because of the brick oven pizza. Otherwise 2 stars.
Mamas never disappoints! Through all this chaos mamas is still open with a FULL MENU 100% committed to serving the community. Extremely grateful for the staff! Delivery drivers are always so pleasant and the staff in the store makes the overall experience! Thank you Mamas Brick Oven for staying open and taking every precaution necessary to make us feel safe ordering with you!
Been going to Mama Sbarros for a long time. Their food is very good, and their staff is very curtious and efficient. However, theres a reason why I couldnt give them two more stars and its because when they are very busy, they have a tendency of getting mixed up with the orders. They take on so many orders that they have trouble multi tasking. Once I ordered a pizza with meatball topping, and they forgot to take it out of the oven! It was burnt to a crisp, and in that fashion, they put it in a box, cut it up, and gave it to me. Very irately, I complained to the manager. He was very nice and gave me two pies on the house and redeemed the situation.Excellent Italian food, but they have to overcome their busy Saturday afternoon problem!.......Ciao! 😊
Love it the food is excellent and I travel abroad often. Everything on this menu is top notch and the people who work there are very friendly and nice. I have sampled pizza in every state this is one of the best. I can imagine the people who rate this under a 4 are prob uneducated kids /no experience with dining and food quality.
The staff is friendly, helpful and honest. They go the extra mile. We really do feel like family there. The food is fabulous and outshines the other local italian restaurants. We never have a complaint with the good or the service. Very generous portions. We go there quite regularly. We are always full and happy at the end of our meal.
Very Good food, friendly service. Sometimes they get take out orders wrong, but they’ll give you a credit if you call and let them know. Only real dislike is that they changed the way they make calamari. Instead of the nice crunchy kind they used to make, now it’s a soft mushy kind. Still tastes good, but not as pleasing.
Neither my brother nor I felt like cooking late on a Friday night; so, we decided to try this place even though it was fairly late. We arrived about 9:45pm for table service and we were treated very well by the server. (I apologize; I neglected to get her name.) The service was great and the food was outstanding. Not known by the staff, my brother has had catering done several times and hes always raved about the food and the service. Its well deserved. Thanks for taking care of two lazy bums. ☺
Ordered today Chicken Franchise with pasta in franchise sauce, slices of Margarita and Penne ala Vodka. Chicken was too thick could have been pounded down, but very tasty, sauce.was.delicious as was the Vodka dish. Pizza was very good fresh pie came out, crust was a little off with the taste but could have been the taste of everything together. Nice staff definately going again, they deliver.as.well.
This is one of the only sonic locations on LI and its always crowded for good reason! You can order at the window or you can park and have the drive in experience. Sometimes its a little too crowded but thankfully there is a parking lot right next door so that you can still get food there. Just without the drive in part. Unhealthy food like most places but its great for a treat or a super yummy milkshake!! Great prices too at night.
I enjoy their pizza - in fact, their pizza is some of the best in this area in my opinion. We also enjoyed their heroes and loved their stromboli but, their garlic knots werent terrific. The problem with this restaurant, though, is that they are insanely busy. We have always encountered long waits for take-out and have had issues with their delivery service and customer service.Their stromboli is worth the wait. Our last attempt at delivery was disturbing. The young woman answering their phone that night was completely overwhelmed and lacked any training whatsoever on customer service as she constantly hung up on us, placed us on hold mid-sentence, and eventually yelled at us about how she cant talk to their missing delivery driver on her cellphone and us on their landline at the same time. After waiting over 2 hours for delivery, we cancelled the order (which wasnt easy). We thought this experience was an outlier but, have heard similar stories from our neighbors. Point being: if you want to do business with them, dont rely on delivery.
I used to really enjoy this place until the decline over the past several months. Ive been frequenting this place for many many years through many different owners and sadly this is the worst its ever been. The cooks are inconsistent, the pizza is vastly different from day to day, each cook has their own way of prepping the pizza, sometimes its flat out horrible and other times good. A big problem Ive been encountering is the cooks do not keep the house pies stocked adequately, more often then not as of late, I come in and the slice I want isnt out and Im asked to wait 20 minutes, walk-ins dont have time for that. Today Im told there are no chicken marsala slices, I ask if they have any coming out, the answer I got was that nobody prepared the chicken marsala the day before so there are no chicken marsala pies today. Its just one thing after the other. Sad that such a good place has taken such a dive. The counter girls and wait staff are very nice and helpful, I would give them 5 stars, everything else gets 1 star at this point....the point of disappointment.
This place used to be a lot better then it is today. I dont know what happened to the place but the pizza used to be some of the best around. The sit down dinners are still pretty good but there are better slices at other area pizzerias. I always go for the buffalo chicken pizza but the last few times Ive tried it, its been hit or miss. They use dark meat chicken which looks very un-appetizing and very very oily. Buffalo chicken slices as well as other chicken slices are supposed to be made with chicken breast. Also Ive seen the cook in the back handle salads right after handling garbage pails without washing his hands or using gloves. I am former food manager at a successful pizzeria and Ive taken the Suffolk county department of health course, this place would not be doing so well during a health scan. I want to come back but they need to change up some of the staff or pay more attention to detail
Came in to eat.. Cook was the ONLY employee not wearing a mask 🤢 sent My food back 🤢 Waitress cleaned off another patrons table and didnt clean her hands after picking up their used utensils.. Hope the pizza we are taking home is good.. The guy making the pizza is wearing a mask..
Waited an hour and forty minutes for food. Called and got the run around over the phone by 2 different people. Tried to make it up giving me $10 off my next order. I would never order from them again. I understand 10 to 20 minutes passed the time but 40 minutes way too long.
Mama Sbarros is the place to go! The staff is incredible and always are so pleasant and happy to see the customers. I brought my wife in for a late lunch on Monday afternoon and our server Amanda was beyond sweet and very easy to talk to! Will definitely be returning in the near future!
Brought my family in on a Saturday night and tried a different dish from what I normally get which is the penne alla vodka, I switched to baked ziti with fried chicken and it was AMAZING! My family was very pleased with the brick oven pie they ordered, we got an order of garlic knots with the perfect amount of seasonings on top of the amazing food, service was outstanding!! Next time I return I’m brining my friends!
Dont ever bother ordering online especially through Grub Hub.I was a little weary ordering from a place with unusually low ratings, but I get it now. Ordered chicken francese, got baked ziti. With tax and tip was basically a waste of $25. Have zero desire to ever order from here again.
Worst Italian food EVER !!! I ordered off grub hub because it said it was faster delivery than pizziaola at the time. My boyfriend got a meatball parm hero and the meatballs had chunks of fat in them (a few bites in and he threw it out because it tasted so horrible), I got stuffed shells and the portion they give you for the price you pay was completely ridiculous (pizziaola does a dollar more and fills out the container with shells) but I could only eat a shell because the ricotta tasted so watered down, the sauce smelt like a cheap brand, and the cheese was disgusting (even I threw y good out after this) !! We will never order from here again !! What a waste of money on food that went right into the trash ..spent 30$ for containers basically !! Do yourself a favor and do not waste your money .. spend a couple dollars extra for pizziaola!!!!!! Trust me it is worth it !
Bring back the old owners, have a listChairs are so sticky had to use paper napkin to pull the chair out.!ordered 2 slices of Crostino slices I DIDN’t believe it they put,DRIED BASIL ON TOP NOT fresh, unknown brand of .Mozzarella no taste. sorry to say we won’t be back.
I work in shopping counter girls so nasty have no clue on customer service they burned my pizza once gave then second chance and have me wrong order 3rd time dropped by food in floor and over heard them tell customer oops burned ur pizza and we dont have anymore of that slice do u want it still . Management needs to pay more attention to whats going on in front end
Fixed stop if I go to America. Compared to the pizza they serve you in the United States, this one by Mama Sbarro is good with its crunchy base, the tomato that tastes like tomato and then they use mozzarella! The place is also nice: wooden tables and red and white checkered placemats ... if you are nostalgic for Italy, I felt at home here!

2022-06-14Had both the regular and the Sicilian. Did notlike either. The regular was meh.The Sicilians crust was too greasy, and thetomatoes tasted canned. They do not sell Coke-only Pepsi, Sierra Mistand other brands. They do not take Apple Pay, only cash or card.I do not recommend.

2021-09-16Burnt pizza. Like black air pockets and black crust on bottom.Delivery was over an hour.Pizza was barely warm. There’s way too many pizza places around here to chose from. Not a good thing for a bad pizza experience, too easy to go somewhere else

2022-07-08Love the Pizza here, the Grandma pie is excellent. I drive all the way from Bellmore just for their Grandma pie. The only pizza that needs a bit of important is the Buffalo chicken. I highly recommend.

2017-02-01Great food! Great service! Casual atmosphere. Monday night is Pasta Night - choice of pasta with salad and garlic knots for $9.99. The tortellini soup is excellent! The spinach Alfredo pizza is incredible! The chicken parmigiana hero is my favorite! If youre in the Deer Park / Babylon area give them a try!UPDATES:There is a new owner. They now offer free delivery.Pasta Night is now $10.99 but you get coffee and dessert (cannoli chips). There are several new additions to the menu including a delicious tilapia oreganata. It comes with shrimp and either roasted potatoes or vegetable. I highly recommend the roasted potatoes!New craft beer selection including Sam Adams Winter and Lagunitas IPA.

2022-01-05I went to Momas today and I had a really great spinach pizza that tasted so good. The crust was perfectly chrispy and the topping was amazing! If You like chips dipped in a spinach dip you are going to like Momas Spinach slice. The spinach slice was creamy rich and was very likely the best pizza topping I have in quite a long time. As far as Im concerned, this Pizza Shop is a well kept secret. I will definitely be back for another visit and I definitely recommend that anyone reading this give Momas a try. Its on the Southeast corner of the intersection of Deer Park Ave (Route 231) and Bay Shore Road.
