Got my wisdom tooth removed yesterday, and woke up with absolutely no pain. Like it was never even there. Dr. Mamkin is super talented at what she does. Im prolly gonna come back and get the other 3 wisdom teeth removed now bc shes that good. Super friendly staff, nice environment and good prices by new york standards.
My whole family has been going to Dr. Mamkin for many years. Between all of us we had done variety of dental procedures, including emergencies. All of the work is performed with superb quality and using state of the art equipment. I was very impressed that my recent crown work was done in just one visit!!! All of the staff is there for years and is extremely friendly and accommodating.I would highly recommend Dr. Mamkin as a family dentist.

I am totally fearful of the dentist and here at Dental Care of Ridgewood I am able to sit with Dr. Campos and get my dental work done with very little fear. She walks me step by step on what she is doing with my teeth as she performs her job. She is great, gentle and informative. The assistants (ladies who take x-rays) to Dr. Campos are amazing as well.. I highly recommend her and her team.
Great place, clean, professional. I went in for a deep cleaning and was super nervous, I honestly hate going to the dentist, it gives me so much anxiety but Dr. Mamkin made sure I was comfortable. I’m glad I chose to go here and actually look forward to my next visit.

Searching for a new dentist in the area, the receptionist that initially took my call informed me that yes they do take my insurance. I scheduled an appointment for a few weeks out. The day before I received a call from the office asking for my ID number to confirm the insurance. I provided the number, said see you tomorrow and everything was seemingly fine. No follow-up calls. The morning of the appointment I received an automated text informing me of the appointment. I arrive on time, give my name at the desk, sit down for a moment. The receptionist then informs me that they do NOT in fact take my insurance. I cant speak to the doctors quality of care because I was not willing to pay out of pocket and left promptly. Usually I steer away from negative reviews but this was a significant waste of time and I waited weeks for the appointment. The lack of follow-up and more diligence checking the insurance availability was unprofessional.
Dr Mamkin is simply the best. Super nice and has the latest equipment. I strongly recommend her to anyone who is looking for dentist. I travel from New Jersey and refuse to go to anyone else.

So far so good! I went in about two weeks ago for my profi and the woman who did the xrays was so quick! I have lingual mandibular tori and the hygienist was so quick and careful with the film braces.Going in to get fillings and be fitted for a mouth guard soon. Hope everything goes just as smoothly.

Finally found a good dentist in the Ridgewood area! I’ve been wanting to find dentist that are not in Manhattan, and I have finally found the spot. Everyone was professional from the receptionist, to the person doing my X-ray to the dentist! This will be my dentist spot from here on out.

I had a minor dental/ortho emergency and Dr. Vaksman was the only dentist in the Brooklyn area that would see me for such cause after 5 pm. I had no choice. What made my visit 5 stars was her and her (all female) staff. Everyone was so friendly and professional. Dr. Vaksman knew exactly what happened was able to solve my painful problem in quite literally 30 seconds. She was so kind and personable, I will see her for any of my local dental needs moving forward.

I give them 1 star cause I cant give 0 stars. They told I needed implants and price it but what they didnt say was that the surgeon would charge separately so I end up paying double for the implant. To this point because of the amount of money I havent been able to finish it because theyre asking for more money.
The worst place. Dentist is nasty and did a horrible job that’s affecting my other teeth. Don’t go to this place.

2022-01-24Called 3 times asked if they took my insurance they said YES gave them my insurance number over the phone. They said everything looked good and to come in. Finally went for my visit Sorry we don’t take your insurance. Paid for and UBER canceled another appointment my who day is Messed up because they don’t want they take or don’t take. Don’t do it to yourself go somewhere where they are qualify to answer insurance question

2022-05-20Website says they take you for emergency and i went for an emergency today and they couldn’t take me because they are booked.I am pregnant and they expect me to go on medication and be in extreme pain for a couple a day just so they can see me.I’ve worked in doctors offices before and WE have never turn away an emergency patient.

2021-09-23I recently moved to Ridgewood, and needed a local dentist. I chose Dr. Mamkin since she was in the neighborhood and had good reviews, and I couldnt be happier with my decision. I was nervous about getting my first root canal, but soon discovered I was in very capable hands. Dr. Mamkin made sure the procedure went off without a hitch, and was completely pain-free. I will definitely be returning in the future, and cannot recommend her services highly enough.

2021-06-09Dr. Mamkin, is the first dentist I have met that heard my concerns. I have been two dentist in the last 7 years and have been complaining about my discomfort and they never looked into it.The first time meeting Dr. Mamkin, she heard my concern did a bite test and automatically knew what she thought the issue was. My next appointment she did all my dental work in one visit. She is amazing and you can tell she loves what she does. She is patient she answers all of your questions and doesn’t rush you out like other dentist I’ve been to has.She has a beautiful office her staff are also very polite and will answer any of your questions with no problem. I will be going here from on now. I finally found a dentist that I’m confident will care and do an amazing job!!I already have recommended family members to go there as well.

2021-06-20I chose Mamkin Dentristy after seeing the great reviews. I was so apprehensive due to my dental anxiety but after voicing my fears and nerves, Dr. Campos took the time to explain what to expect and spoke to me thoroughly and patiently while she eased all of my fears with the facts and the process (which was not so scary after all). Her gentleness, charisma and expertise truly elevated my experience and I cant thank her enough for that. That wasnt all! She treated my daughters first dental experience with such delight and care that my daughter hasnt stopped saying that she loves the dentists and now plays with her barbies mimicking that experience. (No future anxiety here!) I know how difficult it can be to see a dentist when you have dental anxiety and I hope my experience encourages you to take a step and make your appointment. I never write reviews but this was worth writing if it can help others make the step. These professionals love what they do and it shows.

Dr. Mamkin is wonderfully friendly while maintaining a professionalism that makes you feel absolutely comfortable during what we all know is not the most comfortable of situations.
