Fantastic customer service. The owner and staff makes you feel welcome, and they sometimes offer drinks while you wait to be given your haircut. They give great haircuts to kids and adults alike. Their location is convenient, right next door to the CVS on Merrick Road.
Jay and the guys at Man to Man are some of the best barbers I have ever gone to. They take there time with their haircuts and listen to what the customer wants done. I have never had a bad experience here. Each time my haircut and my shape up comes out perfect. I will never go to another barber shop! Go there ASAP you won’t be disappointed that’s a guarantee!
Man to Man is my go to barbershop, every barber there always does a great job. They’re precise with their razors and do very clean work. You will come out of the shop like a new man! Jose in particular is my favorite barber. He’s very friendly and is very meticulous with his work making sure your lines are neat and symmetrical. 10 out of 10 recommend this barbershop!
After researching several barber shops on Google, I decided to go to Man to Man Barber Shop for a beard trim. I definitely made the right decision. I have been growing out my beard for over 6 months and needed it cleaned up. Jay listened carefully and asked questions, making sure he understood how I wanted my beard to look. Jay took his time and was very detail oriented in his work. If you’re looking for a barber shop that cares and listens to what you want this is it.
Best barbershop on the island! Top notch service. I’ve been taking my son here since he was a baby and I can’t say enough great things about this place. His haircuts are always on point. They’re super creative and EXTREMELY patient with kids! My son always has a wonderful experience. The barbers are highly skilled, professional and up on all in the latest hairstyles and trends! These guys always do it right.. Been coming here since they opened, and even though I moved out of the neighborhood I still keep it here regardless of the 30 min drive! Great atmosphere and even better group of guys. I used to shave my head and shape my beard, but have been growing my hair again and they’ve made it look just how I want. They are meticulous and it shows every time.. I usually go to Jairo, but they have a strong lineup all together. Recommend this barbershop hands down without a question. Thank you fellas…
I just took my almost 2 year old son (who does not do well with haircuts) and the barber was incredibly patient and great with him. I unfortunately didn’t catch his name but he was amazing. He let my son play with the razor for a few minutes before and stopped as needed- waiting for him to calm down. It’s been the best haircut my son has gotten - and they were better with him than one of the more kid haircut places I’ve taken him too. Thank you so much for the great job and patience you had with my so today.
This place is where you want to go for a high quality haircut. The place is super clean and all of the barbers are super professional and friendly. Never feel rushed when I’m there, they always take their time and make sure you are happy with the cut before leaving the chair. Jay is the man and always does a exceptional job time and time again. I’ve been looking for a Different barber shop for a while now. Came in as a walk-in and was greeted by Jose. He took the time to listen to me to understand what it was that I was looking to do/change with my hair. I got exactly what I asked for!! Didn’t feel rushed at all. I got a fade and shave from jay and the quality of the cut is unreal. Unlike any other barber shop I’ve been too these guys know how to give a good haircut and they’re very professional. Awesome place will continue to come here as long as they’re open!
High quality barbershop. I always wait for Jose, he does an amazing job. Takes his time, is incredibly precise and detail-oriented when cutting hair, and especially when trimming and shaping my beard. He never rushes either and goes above and beyond every time. Joses haircuts are worth every penny.

Went there yesterday for the first time and was immediately very impressed with the establishment. All the barbers where busy, but took th time to greet me and inquire my needs. The wait time was very reasonable. The place was very well decorated and clean. All barbers wore masks and gloves at all times.When my turn arrived I was card for by Chico. I was in desperate need of a cut as my regular barber went out of business due to the pandemic. An unfortunate fate considering I had used him for at least the past 25 years. Chico was very professional, , addressed my every request. I was extremely satisfied. At check out, I was pleasantly surprised at the cost. It was almost half of what I usually pay for the same service. This place is awesome and I would highly recommend it . I will be back. Thank you.
I’ve taken my son here 3 times now and he’s always gotten a great cut. My son is 3 and can have difficulty sitting to get his haircut. We’ve gotten a different barber every time, and they all have been patient, understanding, and given a great haircut. I’ve tried other places without luck. Man to Man always styles it nicely at the end of the cut too! I highly recommend them!

When i walked i was very impressed by the decor and being greeted promptly. The barber who took care of me did an excellent job (im extremely picky about barbers) the massage is a nice touch and they even make their own pomade, highly recommend 10/10 experience.
Time is money, and I love knowing that I can walk into this shop and it doesnt matter who cuts my hair. I am going to get seated quick, get in and get out, with a quick cut. This place is always busy. Despite this, you do not have to wait long. 5 chairs available. I’ve had two different barbers so far, and both as good as each other. Just moved to the area. Second place I’ve tried, and I already know this is my spot going forward. Great atmosphere, as well as friendly.

Was in need of a beard trim and after doing some searching and then reading reviews about this barbershop on here, I decided to try them for the first time. Immediately liked the vibe of the place from the moment I walked in. Staff is very friendly, they offer you water and espresso too. I had the pleasure of having Jose trim my beard and he did a fantastic job. Kind, patient, and really takes his time and pays close attention to detail. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. I come here every 2-3 days. This is the best place around. They are all skilled and do more than just cut hair. They actually care about their customers. The owner is an every day guy and makes sure that everything is good, and has been extremely nice to me regarding certain issues. i have used Isais, Calvin, Wilson, and Jose. They all know what to do, and they know want i want. And they do an excellent job.I highly recommend this place to anyone. The Blackout shave is amazing. You need to do it. You will never want a regular shave anymore. Thanks guys.
This is a great spot and a well run business. It’s new to town and much needed. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The interior is gorgeous . As soon as you sit down they are offering you coffee and drinks. They offer a wide variety of products I’ve never seen before but am interested in trying. I got a fantastic A+ haircut, beard trim, tape, etc. I’m usually very scared to try new Barbershops, but I would absolutely recommend this place to anybody who is looking for a new spot or a clean cut. You can tell that they care about putting out a good product as well as their reputation with customers. That’s a great formula for success, I wish them well. Definitely check this place out!
I have taken my 1.5 year old son here twice now. The atmosphere is clean and nicely decorated. You are offered coffee, water, espresso while you wait. There have always been 4-5 barbers working so the wait is not bad. They make it fun and joke with my son to make him comfortable for what has been his first and second haircut. :) I would highly recommend Man to Man Barber shop and am happy I found a great place to take my son for his haircuts.

A haircut was always just that a haircut. A necessity for all men in order to look clean and professional. Nothing fancy just a barber with his clippers while his customer just sits patiently waiting for them to finish. These guys took that process and elevated it. Their service and attention to detail is immaculate. As soon as you walk in youre greeted by the friendly staff while being offered water or an espresso while you wait. The barbers are talented and professional, but apart from all that whats intrigued me the most is how friendly they are. Barbers at other shops have their regulars that theyre always friendly with and laughing and having a good time but rarely do they pass that energy on to new customers. Thats where this place won my business. They treat everyone like regulars, like everybody is friends they havent seen in a while. The awkwardness of walking into a new barbershop is gone. You feel welcomed from the get go. This places makes it like the movies where everyone is having a good time. Youre no longer going for just a cut and shave but now its an experience from beginning to end.

If your looking for a good cut this is the place to go! Great staff and immediately hospitable when you walk in the door. Never a long wait and all barbers are awesome! While waiting your asked if youd like something to drink like an espresso or water. Owner is always asking how your experience was and if you need anything while waiting shows he truly cares. A true class act of a barber shop without the long wait times you usually see at other places. I strongly recommend you give them a shot you will not be disappointed!

Heard about this new place that opened in town and figured i would give a try. Let’s just say WOW. Very clean, brand new barbershop and owner made sure he had his guy Jay hook me up. Hair & beard was the best I’ve ever had. Made sure every line and edge was perfect & to top it off they got an espresso machine ! Definitely coming back

First barbershop I have been to where there is a keen focus on customer service. As soon as you walk in the door you are offered coffee or tea. The barbers are all very well dressed. The “manly” decor is a bit over the top, but the service and attrntiveness are great. Parking is limited, but that is no different from any other business on Merrick Road.

My families new favorite barbershop. They are so patient and welcoming. He is so happy his favorite barber is here. He is a perfectionist when it comes to his hair. He loves that his barber is one too.I can’t thank Jay enough he has now cut my husband and 2 sons. But the main reason I am writing this is bc he finally got my son to relax during a haircut. He was so proud of himself for being able to do this. No electronics or tv to semi distract him. He did it like every other 6 year old. So thank you Jay, you allowed a 6 year old to feel like his fellow peers and to feel confident. You brought happy tears to our eyes that he has accomplished one more thing. Thank you again
I have been to a few places out in long island to get my hair cut this was the first place where they use traditional barbershop methods with a more hip and hood feel to it but elegant. Then come to find out they are from my old stomping grounds out from the Williamsburg Brooklyn . Great staff Great work . Thank again to my friends from Villa Deli in levittown for recommendations .

Dear Man to Man Barber Shop,I have been searching for a good Barbershop for my whole life. One that not only provides a solid hair cut, but understands the value in the whole experience. If you have been cut by a barber multiple times, and they’re aware of it, and they’re behavior doesn’t change, it’s time to find a new barber. When I told the barber Juan about my concerns, he understood, and made sure he took his time and crafted my sloppy hair and beard back into a sculpted gentleman. The location has good street side parking if you have a truck or suv and has good rear parking as well. Take my word, this shop will be packed in the near future, because it has a great business model and an owner who understands value.Update 11/25/18:After getting my beard and hair cut here multiple times, I can now affirm that this is the...BEST DAMN BARBERSHOP I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO!I believe all the negative reviews are from competitors and crooks! Gives the same atmosphere as Mad men down the block very welcoming but when sat down in the seat the barber started doing his own thing without asking me what I wanted buzzing the side with whatever number he wanted. I spoke up and told him what I wanted and how I wanted my hair cut and to not touch the top bc I’m growing it out. He refused to listen to me with what I wanted, never asked if I wanted it done a certain way or give me suggestions from an expertise point of view. I’ve been trying to grow my hair out for months and he pretty much cut it way too short, which I’m back to square one to grow it back out. I didn’t appreciate how he was rude and didn’t ask me to begin with what I wanted or the fact when I told him specifically what i wanted a certain way and continued to do whatever he wanted ignoring my comment. It’s one thing when your barber knows you but not when you’re a face you’ve never seen.

While the shop itself is new, this establishment consists of an All Star Team of hair cutting talent that Locals have come to know, love, and appreciate for their sharp skills and pride exhibited in their work. The shop is immaculate, has a great vibe, and is the best around.

Came here for a haircut & a beard trim and i left very, very satisfied. I got cut by Isais and he did an outstanding job. Im extremely picky with who cuts my hair and i dont let just anyone cut me, but i am happy i trusted Isais. He doesnt just cut hair he crafts an art while doing so. You can tell its his passion. Aside from the great haircut, the building is very clean and very pleasing to the eye. The coloring & decoration had a lot of time put into it. Everyone from the staff to the man with the slick backed hair working the cash register were very nice.

These guys just saved my day. Im getting married on Saturday and had an awful beard trim at another barber the day before. Man to Man fixed the other barbers work and got me looking good for my wedding day. Cant thank them enough. The staff and owners were very friendly and accommodating.

Place trumps over madmen...doesn’t even compare. Hair artists rather than just hair cutters; the whole Italian ambiance settles you in as if you were walking through the countryside in Sicily or rather teleport you straight to maranello with the amount of Ferrari logos scattered throughout. An espresso or whatever else tickles your fancy while you’re in the chair can be brought to you just brings in the full circle of care and attention that is brought to the customers by employees. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend to everyone, because the owner, you can just tell, he transcends this positive energy which truly reflects straight into his business. Fast and they are professionals who know their craft. Only that it is a bit expensive then your usual barber, so come ready with at least $40 for tips as well.

My son clearly told his barber what to do and what not to do. He pretty much did the opposite. If you dont speak spanish stay away. Language barrier definitely caused this mess up. And then he tried to blame it on my son. NEVER GOING BACK.

The man that cut my sons hair did not speak English. Told him to keep it long and they shaved his head. His hair was long now he has a crew cut. Youve been warned

2022-02-04The best barber shop I’ve been to in my life. I’ve lived on long island for over 20 years and have went through over 20 barber shops as well. No one has ever been as accommodating friendly and great at what they they as the barbers in man to man. You can literally go to any of there Barbers and get an amazing haircut just the way you want and like it…I have no kids but when I see parents bringing their children in constantly I know it’s a place that can be trusted. I’ll never get my haircut anywhere else.

2022-02-05I’ve been taking my son since it’s opened and our experience is always great. They do a great job on my sons hair (who is 11) and everyone is very nice.The wait can occasionally be 1hr on Saturdays so give yourself some time but it’s worth it.

2022-05-23Place was a hot mess, the barber I had could hardly communicate in English and had to ask another barber what I wanted, he obviously had no experience as I wanted a high top fade and got a crew cut instead. Saw this place on Instagram and it looked great but it’s like a fake Rolex, nice looking and may fool some people but on the inside it’s junk. Place is a serious joke even more so when you see their socials. Do not recommend at all, you would be better going to a super cuts than this dumpster fire.

2021-07-01My wife has been telling me about this spot for over a year after moving from Queens to L.I. Finally the drive to and from queens for a haircut became exhausting. I walked in today hoping for the best and my man Jose Delivered. I cant thank him enough, I nicknamed him Dr. b\/c what he did was surgery on my hair. He took his time, did not rush me and knows how to work with scissors. Highly Recommend this place for all those Queens and BK ppl looking for a that sick haircut out here in L.I.
