Recently we used Mangano to plan my father in laws funeral. Everything went better than expected. We had expected the costs to be more, however Joe gave us suggestions to help us meet the budget we had. He also gave us nice suggestions for local restaurants where we could eat and order food from.
Sal and Kim were a pleasure to deal with at a very hard time. They were extremely compassionate. Anything we needed they did for us. I highly recommend Magano Funeral Home.
We recently used this funeral home for my grandmothers burial. I know it is weird to say but the lady who did her make up rocked!!! Gram looked like she was in her 60’s even tho she was 94. The service was great and the prices were reasonable. My mother and uncle really appreciated the Paper Shredding when they were Cleanning out my grandmothers apartment from Manor Park.
We recently had the misfortune of having to use the services of Mangano Funeral Home for the recent passing of a loved one. Unfortunately, I was deeply disappointed with the lack of empathy and compassion portrayed by the staff during this very difficult time. Sadly they proved that this establishment is a business run solely for profit.
Unfortunately my mother passed away in June 2017. We are life long West Islip residents and in the past my family always used Caratozzolo Funeral Home in Deer Park , however when we went there the girl made us sit through a 90 minute video on them trying to sell us things we didnt want. This didnt sit well with me and my brother. We left and went to Manganos and we were greeted by James who couldnt be nicer. He made us feel comfortable until we met with Kimberly who walked us through the entire arrangements, and actually asked us what we wanted. I would highly recommend Kim and her staff. P.s the birds at the funeral home are really a nice touch.
It was very clean w polite friendly staff who were very helpful.Every need was met for guests.Parking is difficult at times depending on groups.
So happy to hear Mangano Funeral is covering the funeral expense and flowers for beautiful bay boy Thomas. 🙏🏻💔

2021-12-16I would like to thank Sal Mangano for the beautiful crystal ornament that he had custom made for my father. 11 years ago they made one for my father in law as well. This is such a kind and loving tribute. Their attention to detail, especially with our large Italian family was excellent. The funeral home was very clean and the staff at the doors went above and beyond catering to our guests. I would highly recommend them to my family, friends and neighbors.

2022-03-08I have to give this funeral home a 5 star rating. Back in 2013 my mother passed away and my family had the service done at this funeral home and they were great. This year my father passed away in February and they were great. Joe the funeral director is such a great man!! Would highly recommend this funeral home!!

They were both professional and courteous and were able to ease our stress level with the handling of the funeral arrangements. They truly listened to our needs. He never pressured us into getting something we didn’t want. He was very professional, warm hearted, loving, caring, and made me feel as if he was one of my family members. 2020-11-01At a time when it was needed the most. Kimberly at Mangano Funeral Home . helped my family & I tremendously! My mom had passed away & we we’re all at a loss for words. She guided us patiently. The entire staff were very professional and went beyond to make sure we were OK! I was so touched on the way to the cemetery we had stopped in front of my mothers house and they placed a rose by her front door. Extremely touching. I highly recommend them. Thank you so much for your kindness in a time that was greatly appreciated.

2020-09-16After losing our family Patriarch: my Grandfather during the height of the COVID-19 Epidemic, the Mangano Team went above and beyond to ensure all our questions were answered, constant communication and updates to myself and my family, and a drive to make sure our needs were met. On behalf of my family, we cannot thank the Colleen, Sal, and the entire team enough for everything they have done to make sure my Grandfather was able to Rest In Peace in his homeland. I personally know Sal and know that he is one of the nicest, kindest, honest and gracious people I know. And Joe also was kind and understanding. 2019-10-16This was our first time dealing with the caring folks at Mangano Funeral Home. They were the 3rd funeral home we went to in our search for the perfect send off for Nanna. Joe the manager, Along with Mike, Kim and Sal did a wonderful job. Nanna looked great, the memorial video was perfect, the flowers we ordered from next door were beautiful, Ss. Cyril mass was filled with mourners and the priest was great.
