Just visited them today, Dec 3rd morning and sold my Tag Heuer to them, decided to post a review right away because Im really pleased with my exprience. The peoplere all very kind and welcoming, and Albert gave my watch a reasonable price then paid me right away, there were no hassles and the entire process was seamless, we sealed the deal in like 5 to 10 minutes I think. And because this positive experience, I think I will give Albert and the Manhattan Buyers another call and visit, if I want to sell other watches or jewelries of mine in the future.
This was my first time selling gold. I went somewhere else to sell my gold right before I came here. I was frustrated because that place had offered less for my gold than Manhattan Buyers and also I felt threatened when they said that my estimate would not hold if I leave. In Manhattan Buyers however, my experience was more than stellar. First, the security at the lobby were very polite and welcoming. Once I came in, the receptionist was a kind lady who offered me a complementary water bottle. But more than everything else, Albert was amazing. Very well dressed and professional but still approachable and friendly. The appraisal took very little time and he was honest with me but still being sensitive to what a customer may feel about their jewelry. Best thing is that they offered more than the other place and that they said that I can leave and the price does not change. If you are looking to sell, I highly highly highly recommend coming here. Goes to show that great customer service is the best way to attract people. Will likely be the only place I come to from now on if I choose to sell.

Manhattan Buyers is in the top 1% of dealers in the world. A 5 star professional watch dealer. My experience on January 10th, 2020 was the most amazing and impressive experience one could have. I have massive parental care issues and have been left by myself to manage my mothers care. I needed to sell my watch to help pay for her 24/7 care. After speaking to a few dealers I felt more comfortable with Albert after exchanging a few emails, so I took the bus in from NJ and walked over to the convenient location on 47th and 5th right on the corner of the world famous diamond district. The security was literally the best I ever witnessed, after signing in and getting the pass, you take the elevator to the 6th floor, where there are two more security doors, the waiting room is very professional, then upon entering the main office where the inspection takes place, you are well secured. I dealt with Albert, he was very very professional, his expertise determined the value immediately, as he was no doubt in the top 1% of dealers in the world. His appraisal was very very generous, you can tell he is more concerned about making the client happy with the deal than anything else. The value of some of the watches was something I never experienced, literally nothing like it. The office staff are all very professional as well. It was an amazing experience, in my case, the deal was complete in 5 minutes. We also exchanged personal stories about family and you can tell he came from a very nice and quality family. In these hard economic times if you must part with your jewelry, go straight to Arthur or Aba of the Manhattan Buyers. They are courteous and professional and offer higher prices than anyone else in the industry. Arthur even did an extraordinary thing last Friday, when I was trying to sell a ring. After examining it, he said that it was a good time to buy gold, not to sell it because of its low price. Since he could not offer a decent price for my jewel, he suggested an interest free loan instead. I was amazed: not only he did not want to take advantage of the situation, but also he was doing a favor to me without gaining anything instead. This way of conducting business is unique and speaks volumes about Arthur’s honesty.

They tell you off the bat that they dont pay for the precious expensive stones in the rings, bracelets or pendants which are valuable. They only pay for the gold and diamonds! I was honest with the review, the reason for the 4 stars, is because the person I was taken care by was quick and to the point, but sweet But at least they responded to the review, new lesson-get your stones identified as semi- precious or man made before selling your jewelry. But my stones were sapphire, rubies and diamonds which are all precious. Truth be told, I don’t think I would go elsewhere.

Excellent and fast service even though we did not have an appointment. We were ushered in with warmth and hospitality offered a fresh and cold bottle of water to quench our thirst. We barely waited for a few minutes when we were were invited to the private room by Albert an exceptional consultant. Having previously evaluated the value of our gold and diamond jewelery we got higher than the value previously suggested and in cash right on the spot. Albert showed exceptional knowledge regarding the valuation of the gold and diamonds sharing the next steps in the process so we could expand ours. I went all over the strip looking to try to sell my jewelry and every single shop had people who were very stiff, rude, inpatient and nasty! I recently sold my wedding band set and after a quick google search of the many diamond brokers in NYC, I reached out to five, plus the store in Upstate where the set was originally purchased. Wedding/Engagement rings are not only very valuable, but emotionally tied to you, so it can be very difficult to know what you are getting is fair, so I will ONLY work with Manhattan Buyers from now on for a several important reasons:Fair: Of the three buyers in NYC that I actually ended up showing the rings to, all three including Manhattan buyers were in agreement about the quality of the stones. The main stone was deeply set in gold and there was some question about being able to see it for what it was. My set came with an EGL certification which is not GIA certification (know EGL is not specific or respected as GIA, and buyers are very cautious as a result ...there is a big difference!). I also had an written estimate of what the original jeweler would buy it back from me for (25% of what they sold it to me for BTW). Without knowledge of that estimate, Arthur quoted me within $50! Although I was disappointed that the value was much lower than what it originally cost (READ I paid much too much for this set originally), I got the BEST price from Manhattan Buyers AND it was just what the jeweler who knew the stone would give me to buy it back.Honest: I was amazed by the whole process of how diamonds are marked up as they move out of NYC. They were clear on how and why it happens and what I can do to ensure I dont over pay next time, which actually made sense. I cannot stress enough, his quote was almost exactly what the original jeweler who actually knew the stone, offered to buy it back. Although he offered me cash, I was nervous traveling with that much money, so he wrote me a check. I must admit I was concerned about that too, but he reassured me, and in fact the check cleared quickly, without a problem at my local bank.Professional, yet very personable: From the very start, they responded to me quickly via email and phone. I got an estimate over the phone - it was a range, but it gave me a ballpark which was helpful. They adjusted my first appt time easily due to travel issues. Both Arthur and Aba knew their business, spoke directly and frankly, but were kind, open and understanding to my situation. I called the next day unexpectedly (30 mins prior to their closing time) to finalize the transaction due to my work schedule and Arthur came in immediately to meet with me, paid me what he quoted me and I was on my way feeling really good about the transaction.Selling something so valuable and sentimental is a difficult process...and Arthur and Aba made it so much easier. Sold me a broken watch knowingly. Took it for repairs multiple times eventually stopped returning my calls. Buyer beware. This was purchased in the the Manhattan Buyers INC office from Dennis who sells watches on ebay as AJLikeswatches. Knowingly sold me a broken watch when he couldnt fix it he stopped responding to calls and texts. Avoid this place.

2022-02-18This was my first choice due to all the reviews, however I stopped by two other buyers on my way. Its not an easy task feeling comfortable and trusting strangers with buying your jewelry. However, Manhattan Buyers is not any run of the mill company. I was greeted right away and brought into meet with Albert. I was definitely taken aback by his raw honesty, professionalism and authenticity. If you are familiar at all with the diamond district, the way he conducts business is a diamond in the rough (no pun intended;) I felt like I was talking to family instead of what could have easily been a shady buyer. It was a very pleasant and smooth transaction, with cash given to me for the ring. He ran after me to ensure I was not just holding it in my hand as he was concerned for my safety and that I should not lose the money. I highly recommend you save your time and come straight here, if you want honesty and the best price for your diamonds/jewelry/ watches. And this is coming from someone who doesnt give praises out easily and hardly writes reviews! Oh, and I thought I lost my Iphone. However, Albert went out of his way to find me to let me know they are holding it for me, so I should not worry. This is a person and company I would definitely return to whether buying or selling. Trust is everything!

2022-09-16I had a Rolex datejust 41mm which I purchased from the Rolex dealership. I wanted to sell it fast since I needed the initial investment for something else. I called a few companies from the moment I spoke to Margaret I felt this is a person I am willing to take a risk and ship the item to ( TRUST). She emailed a fedex label, I went straight to a fed ex location, took a free box provided by fed ex and discreetly packed the item nicely since it’s a Rolex no one has to know what is inside the box. Provided the label Margaret had sent to customer service , they print it , labeled the box and shipped it by 3:00 p.m at no cost to me. The next day I received a phone call around the same time when item arrived. Spoke to Albert straight forward guy no games , took his offer and completed the transaction. Everything went smooth, this is how good business is conducted. Thank you Margaret for your amazing customer service. By the way They offered a fair price some dealerships want items at a very low cost. They were fair. I hardly write on Google felt if anyone can relate to the situation it can help. They responded to my online request for an appraisal appointment within 10 minutes of submitting it. They got back to me to set an appointment almost immediately, which right off the bat showed the professionalism of the organization. I met with Albert at their location on 5th Avenue and was very impressed with his courtesy, knowledge and overall friendliness. He didn`t use any of the predatory negotiation tactics I`ve encountered elsewhere in Manhattan, and kept the transaction process uncomplicated and to the point. 2021-11-15After doing months of research, I made several appointments within the diamond district to sell my Tiffany engagement ring and wedding band. Manhattan Buyers was the second place I visited on 11/11/2021. I had such a great experience that I didnt even go to my remaining appointments.Albert was extremely knowledgable and direct, which I definitely appreciated. 2021-08-16I found Manhattan Buyers by type sell my watch in google search. They appeared and I read reviews before calling and scheduling an appointment to sell my Rolex Watch. The entire transaction was smooth and fast. They really know what they’re doing. They opened and inspected my watch in front of me and gave me a price.
