Manninos is a trip back into my youth when italian aunts and uncles cooked delicious meals every Sunday!
Excellent pizza in service,they have a huge selection of wine and a great menu for the restaurant. Definitely high-class pizzeria restaurant!
$14.85 for 2 slices, 2 knots and a seltzer. I feel that is pretty high for pizza. The food was good but really not worth the amount. I will not be returning.
The pizza is above average, but there is much better pizza within the area at a much cheaper price. Pizza is way overpriced. Also, the owner is sometimes not pleasant and have heard others experience the same.
I came in for a slice of pizza and coke tonight around 9pm. If it was earlier I would have gone somewhere else. The counter help and pizza makers DID NOT HAVE FACIAL MARKS ON. THERE WAS ANOTHER CUSTOMER ALSO MADE A COMMENT as well. I will no longer come here.

A good pizza place, I enjoyed the food here quite a bit. The pizza was cooked well but wasnt burnt to a crisp, and we had a hero which held up well and was delicious. When working in the area this is a great spot for lunch or dinner.

My family eats here/ takes out probably once a week. Food is good, consistent and the staff is always friendly. My mom ordered their gluten-free pizza and said it was the best she has ever had. When we opened the box at home, It had its own metal tray which is probably how they cook it so it doesn’t get cross contaminated and came with its own pizza cutter. Definitely a must try if you need gluten free.If you don’t, try their buffalo pizza!!

Nanninos in Smithtown is an outstanding restaurant and I will make it a regular stop every time we return to the area. I love it! Great restaurant! Its much more than pizza, the menu offers gourmet entrees. The food is absolutely delicious, the chefs dishes are impressive. The servers are the best and very well trained, and the ambience is perfect, relaxing. Weve dined in the outside section on two nice summer evenings. Nanninos in Smithtown is an outstanding restaurant.
Guy who took our order over the phone was nice but the food did not meet our expectations. Pink /vodka sauce was really disappointing. Chicken parm pizza was okay.

This was my first time at the Smithtown location. The restaurant area was comfortable and we were seated right away. Our waitress was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful with offering suggestions. Prices were reasonable for the portions. We had a few appetizers for the table and our entrees and had plenty left to pack as leftovers. The food was excellent as was our overall experience.
Food was great! Spaghetti Carbona was amazing. Service was good. They didnt adhere well to social distancing as they allow you to seat yourself people were often sitting pretty close
Great food, friendly staff. Frank is the best!!!Its my go-to place with family and friends.Portions are huge! I always have plenty of leftovers for another meal. Specials vary from night to night so be sure to ask about them. When he offers the rack of lamb I highly recommend that you order it.Also, he makes the best stuffed artichoke I have ever eaten! Even better than my own.
Great food. Wonderful atmosphere. Upscale dining room. Table clothes on table as well as cloth napkins. Service is fantastic. Prices between $$-$$$. Definitely recommend!
The BEST buffalo chicken pizza! The perfect buffalo sauce:bleu cheese ratio. Spicy and creamy. The rice ball was also delicious!
Excellent food, but will definitely dig your wallet. Be prepared to pay $20 for a salad with chicken or $20 for a regular pie. Still go there even considering the price because its a nice treat for the family.

We ordered butternut squash salad to go, it was a joke! it was $14 with the tax, not cheap!! and there was absolutely nothing in it except for a bunch of greens and a couple of walnuts..literally a couple, cheese that you needed microscopic utensil to pick it up and a spoonful of squash. I had to call and the owners response wasnt courteous and understanding the way it should be. I felt the sald was a disrespect and his response made it worse! they are a good store in other respects, but this was terrible.. 😥

Friendly waiters and staff with good food, but it was a little bland. The tomato we got for our caprese salad was white and crunchy.... But the mozzarella was fresh and delicious! The meatball parmesan hero was crunchy and large, but not as flavorful as I would like to experience while eating a hero. The pasta my girlfriend got was not exactly memorable either.
Excellent pizza! Didnt think Id find the perfect, classic New York City slice in Suffolk County. As I walked in, a family was sitting near the entrance and their meals looked fantastic! Im coming here every time Im in Smithtown. Cant wait to try everything on the menu.Amd the hostess is soooo pleasant!

Had dinner at my daughters house with take out ordered from Manninos and the pizzas were great along with the spicy fried calamari. Just the pasta with meatballs could have had a little more sauce added, but still tastey.

Pizza is good, but the man behind the counter needs to grow a personality. Every time we walk in there I feel like I’m inconveniencing them for grabbing a quick slice of pizza. I asked about the soups, and he pointed to a sign and said, “the list is over there.” I also was told the soup was butternut squash, and got home to seafood bisque, which I absolutely hate. I feel bad for people who hate their jobs this much.
Food was great, service was A-1, there is ample parking, and the amount of care the staff provided or offered was spot-on. We ate there as a gigantic family gathering and therefore a variety of meals were chosen. Each family member only had nice things to say about the whole experience at Manninos. Youre really missing out if you dont visit.
Coming from one Sicilian to another, Manninos has the best Italian food that Ive had since I ate at my 84 year old mothers house last week. Manicotti was amazing. Veal Marsala was tender and delicious. Service was excellent and attentive. The atmosphere was well designed and contemporary. Very comfortable surroundings. Highly recommended!

Eggplant Parm Pizza 🍕. Done and done and done . 5 stars all around. I moved to Washington 5 years ago and I still dream about their pizza.
So, I wanted something different then the normal Pizza take out.That being said, after only 15 minutes my three entree’s and two desserts togo orders were waiting for me Upon arrival .Finally, after getting gone and diving in with the family the food ended up being great and, not just a mediocre Italian take out dish. Plus the desserts were Delish !!
Upon arrival for a 4pm reservation everything seemed fine. The waiter was very courteous and made sure we always had a drink. Out of the 5 dishes, 4 were good. The 5th was not. The special which one of my party ordered was the Rib-eye with shrimp. Well, after the shrimp were eaten they were not good at all. The steak was ordered medium. A medium steak consists of a thick band of pink in the middle. The steak was not cooked to order. It was instead almost well done with no taste and difficult to chew! The party member tried not to complain as it was mothers day and did not want to make an issue. Well, after the steak was pretty much unbearable to eat we decided to inform our waiter. After discussing with him he took the steak back. Well, after a few minutes the owner of the restaurant appeared at our table. Instead of apologizing to use and asking what could be done to make things better he instead attacked us verbally. He said he cut the steak and there was a line of pink and it was delicious. After I told him there was no red in the steak, he rolled his eyes and walked away. We never heard from him again and the 35 dollar meal was still on the bill!The owner should know how a medium steak is cooked and should realize that is not how you speak to customers. My family and I will never go to this restaurant again. I will never step foot in that restaurant again and will inform everyone I know how this owner spoke to my family and I on mothers day!
Food was fantastic. Can sit down or takeout pizza or whatever you want. Had the penne a la vodka and it was great.EDIT: Went back and had the Spaghetti Carbonara and wanted to say that was fantastic too. Still highly recommend.EDIT 2: Still great, Ive been getting their meatball parm hero and its so good
Food was great as always but the service from some of the waitors could use improvement. However, the bus boys did a phenomenal job. Pedro especially blew us away with his spectacular service I dont know why he is not a waitor already.
This is our go to place the food is amazing and a very good price with large portions. Also the bread they give you has variety and flavor. I go at least once a week I recommend the squash salad
Good food got yelled at by a waiter to keep social distance while walking to a table and we all had masks on .Not sure why he freaked .But when things like that happen it takes the fun out of the experience. Wont be going there for a while .

Out for 90th birthday party and the staff made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. GREAT service, tasty enormous portions, lots of leftovers to enjoy again tomorrow. Definitely going back!!
Delicious tasting food. BUT - Water undrinkable. Manager suggested bottled water. Paid $4.00 for small bottle of plain water. Thought they should have complimentary. Ordered special of cod on spinach. Tasted good but overpriced at $29.00 without any sides. Not even pasta. Will not return

When youre treated like family.I came to celebrate a birthday but had lost my voice. Karen heard me and immediately asked if she could fix me a hot toddy. I graciously accepted the offer.All I could say is wow! It really did the trick. My mom even asked her to make me another one. LOLMy voice started coming back the next day! It usually takes me 3 days. My voice is one my most valuable toolsas I am a teacher, health coach, motivational speaker and performance poet. So as you can imagine I was very happy to be on mend so quickly!This is my 2nd time at this location and our group had a great time. Our waiter Evan handled all the laughing and joking and distracted placing of orders in stride.I would recommend Manninos to anyone looking for a place to eat that reminds them of home.

TOTAL RIP OFF! Wayyyyyy overpriced for mediocre food at best! Plus the entire staff is rude and arrogant especially the older Italian looking man, with all the competition around I suggest going somewhere else
This is my favorite place to get a slice. I come so often, they know my order before I even have to say anything.Table service is available and the servers know their product. Which makes them invaluable when deciding to try something new.
This is split pizzeria and restraint in a large strip mall with penty of parking. Food excellent with some different specials e.g. cauliflower oreganata. I had that and halibut which was cooked to perfection. Service very attentive.

I live near Manninos and have been a patron of the restaurant for many years. I have thoroughly enjoyed every fantastic meal I have ever had there. The food is masterfully prepared and served each and every time..I have had the pleasure of eating their bronzino, swordfish, crab meat and shrimp stuff flounder and sesame seared tuna steak. Not to mentionthe orange ruffi, octopus salad and every other fish dish they have..I have been delighted to eat their veal, steak, filet mignon, pork chops, braciole, osso bucco..The calamari was perfect! The baked clams were outstanding. The shrimp orregenata was to die for!.The specials are always amazing. I usually order from the special list..The owner Frank is so gracious and generous. Every server there is a delight. They had one server that was rude and short with people and he was promptly terminated as a server..One of the best places I have ever eaten in my life. I am a food snob and a tough critic.
What a find! My wife and I tried Manninos in Smithtown for the first time the other night and were really impressed with the food and service. Orlando was our waiter and he was polite, polished and attentive but not intrusive. The Tri Color Salad, Calamari Arrabbiata, Orichiette with Sausage, Broccoli Rabe, Garlic & Oil and the Salmon Oreganato were all outstanding dishes. Great portions and expertly seasoned food make Manninos a must go to place.

Great taste, atmosphere, and service. Very quite and comfortable place to dine with good food, drinks, and typical prices. $5 less on most plates in comparison to the Manninos in Commack.

I recently had an engagement party for my daughter and her fiancé. As I have been to Manninos in Commack several times and love it, my husband and I decided to try Manninos in Smithtown. The food was so delicious, we decided to use them to cater our party. Frank was so helpful and accommodating, it made planning this event for 70 people easy. Every person at our party commented on how fabulous the food was. I cant say enough about how perfect our day was, thanks to Manninos. I would highly recommend them for both dining and catering.

Tried to get in last night with a party of 9. Waiter {nice guy} explained we could either wait a couple of minn. for a table to open up or we can sit the kids in a table next to us.... Not a problem kids r ages 10-12 perfectly capable of behaving in a restaurant separated from their parents by 2 feet..lol...Owner decides to come over { im thinking to say hello} we explain that being a sunday night a school night, wed rather sit fast and have a good meal so itd b best to seperate. So this is what he says to my wife.. Not to me.. {real tough guy hu!!!!}{ Do you expect me to baybysit your kids for you, thats your job.} My wife walked out. I explained to him my feelings RUDE, ARROGANT, not one ounce of people skills and a few other things I will not repeat...Ive been living in Smithtown for 10 years, this is not the first time the Owner has rubbed my wife and I the wrong way.. I hear the same thing countless times.. Its a shame because his cooks in the back make a pretty good dish..

2022-05-18And absolute Top Notch Italian dining experience. Great for lunch for dinner or anytime.The food portions are more than generous and absolutely delicious. Truly authentic Italian food and it doesnt get any better than this.4 excellent service I would suggest you ask for Al hes attentive remembers the regular customers and you never wait for anyting..Highly recommended for simple Pizza all the way to traditional Italian dinners.

2021-10-15I’ve had Mannino’s many times in my life, but last night was the first time I’d been here in years. I ordered two cheese slices to go, and the total was about $7. It’s definitely more expensive than I remember.The pizza tasted fine, but it wasn’t even warmed up all the way. It was in the oven for under two minutes, so by the time I started eating (~10 minutes later), it was already cold. Not what I’d expect from a place with such great ratings.One compliment I can throw in is that I love the new outdoor section! It looks great and is a nice open-air option if you’re stopping here to dine in.

2022-02-13Went out on Friday for Valentines Day dinner. We had a great meal stuffed flounder on spinach. Mushrooms were fantastic. We had cheese cake and canoli yum. Water was filled constantly and attention paid. Made our early Valentines Day great. Check them out wont disappoint even if just take out pizza.

2022-04-13Just moved here from Nassau. I cant believe people think this place serves great pizza. Sauce is too sweet, mozzarella isnt the highest grade etc. Somebody PLEASE tell me a place that actually serves good pizza other than Umbertos, which is too far to go on a regular basis.

2022-01-08The worst service by management. We ordered New Year’s Eve and got two dinners that was undercooked and chicken was inedible. When I called the next day to speak to restaurant I was verbally attacked for not calling quick enough and tried to tell me how I should behave. The management was rude. I had eaten there before and not had problems but I will never order again or give them my business moving forward. Most people don’t say anything but never come back they had an opportunity to be decent and lost it for the arrogance. Good luck!

2022-03-25For the new inflated prices ... which is understood with the world today. My chicken fingers were burnt. And my pasta was hard and under cooked. $38. For chicken fingers and fries. And gluten free pasta with garlic and broccoli. Maybe next time .....
