This place can be compared to Chipotle but the ingredients are higher quality. The white rice reminds me of authentic Hispanic rice. The black beans too. I live in White Plains but sometimes I work in Deer Park. I have to make sure I stop by and order a bowl or burrito for myself. I also bring in my coworkers to enjoy my discovery of this awesome place
Disappointed! They use the same bland meat mixture for everything. I ordered Tacos & there was no taco seasoning, it is the same beef mixture that was in the empanada & their bowls. I had a bowl on a previous visit, that was just ok. Tacos didnt taste like Tacos at all! My husband also wasnt thrilled w/his quesadilla. Empanadas were also just ok. We both agreed, were not going back there. Just expensive, not good, fast food.
Had lunch here with my husband and daughter. The food was soooo delicious!!!! My husband usually buys their tacos which is to die for. Today I created a salad bowl. Best lunch spot!!!!
They had a kind of rocky start when they opened a few years ago, but Ive been a consistent customer for a long time now. Their food is priced very well and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They also have a great selection of sodas to choose from.

Came here with a few buddies for dinner. Didn’t have any great expectations as it sort of resembled a chipotle/fast food type of buffet.The food was DE-LICIOUS. We got some loaded nacho contraption made to order and the ingredients were fresh and tasty.The owner gave us some churros as a little gift which were gone a few moments after they were dropped on the table. Definitely coming back to try the quesadillas.

I placed an order for chips and guacamole. Everything was fine with my order; but when I went inside to pick up my food, I noticed the chef/cook in the back didn’t have a mask on! It wasn’t even under his chin, it was not on his face at all! In complete disgust.

The food is excellent. My family enjoy the authentic meals such as the tacos and shrimp dishes. The server that assisted me was personable, helpful and had great people skills. She had a beautiful smile. Her name was Carmen. I would definitely order from them again. She makes me want to return and let others know about this great restaurant.
I ordered from here on Door Dash. Their tacos are the BEST around. Light and crispy shell, perfectly seasoned ground beef, and awesome toppings. The chips and salsa were very large. The salsa had just the right amount of spice. Will be ordering frequently!

Ive ordered from here about 10 times. Two or three times Ive had no issues. Every other time they forgot entire meals, got our order wrong and were very late. Twice I had uncooked rice in a burrito. Still I kept going back because the people who worked there seemed nice and when they got everything right the food was quite good. I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt that they were just getting their act together.Then one night after waiting 2 hours for the food to show up the delivery guy, who was already tipped a generous 20%, had the nerve to give me an attitude about having trouble finding my address. He could have called for directions like most drivers do instead of just being very late. Then to top it all off, the order was wrong. After this, they have lost what would have been very frequent business from me.
Normally amazing food. One of my favorite places to go. Unfortunately lately the staff has been terrible. New people don’t understand you, are annoyed at your order, mess up the orders and just aren’t welcoming. It’s sad too because the previous workers were always so nice. Also annoying that they don’t make enough things like Mac and cheese or tamales for the day. They advertise about all these new things but don’t make enough to serve all day. Great place but unfortunately recently have chosen to eat elsewhere.
I absolutely loved having lunch here today! For starters the place is spotless! The service was great and the food was not only delicious but FRESH! As a parent it’s great being able to bring your kids out and have them find something they love on the menu. My kids both ate their entire meals and that says a lot. I’m so glad that I was finally able to try this place and I cannot wait to go back. Make sure to try the churros!

Amazing food but the people who work there are extremely slow. A girl was on her phone instead of wrapping my burrito because the workers didnt communicate to discuss who should wrap it so it sat there unwrapped for a few minutes. Also, the workers move slowly as if no one has anywhere to go and its frustrating because I got food to go and they took about 10 minutes to make each burrito. At chipotle, service seems to be much better because there are many workers and the line moves extremely fast. Besides the service the food was amazing!!!
My boyfriend and i were just there for our first time and we were completely clueless has to how to even order food. the girl behind the counter was super nice and helpful, was able to walk us through and explain everything and answer all of our questions. and the food was better than i expected it would be, will definitely be back.
I had my friends birthday party there. The employees were so helpful and kind. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and a great time. It was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Will definitely return. Maracas in North Babylon is one of the best places on Long Island.
This place is around the corner from my apartment so I have gone quite a few times. The prices are reasonable and the food is pretty good (carnitas all day). Sometimes there is a disparity in the quality depending on who is preparing your burrito (Lena is easily the best! Friendly, quick and consistent) but in recent months it has been a steadily positive experience so it gets a solid 4-star rating.
Whenever I am in Babylon, the first place I think to go is Maracas. Their food is always extremely tasty and fresh. Its one of those places where you can customize your own meal so I always go for the bowl (ground beef) and pick my favorite toppings. The guacamole is amazing! The last two times Ive stopped by, Ive had phenomenal service. The staff is really attentive and go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your meal. The churros are fantastic too. Maracas wont disappoint!
First time coming in and Im definitely coming back! It was so delicious, fresh, well seasoned and definitely made with love! Theres nothing more awesome than a place you can call home, and no home is complete without fresh filling delicious (hopefully healthy) food! Super thankful for giving it a try because now Im hooked 👌 the churros are a great ending to a delicious meal + a great pick me up! Always coming back c:
We have been here a few times and the experience varies with the servers but today’s server was so good and happy that it made me love this place again. Either way, the food is absolutely delicious and she made my husbands burrito HUGE which he loved! I highly recommend eating here for the flavor, not the servers

The servers are rude eveytime Ive gone in. Its cheaper and tastes better at Chipotle or Sabrosa, hell I can make better at home. Tacos are always broken, they have never cleaned out their Nacho chip container. The servers seriously are my biggest problem, they always have an attitude or are on their phones and ignore you or acting rowdy out front. Very unprofessional and just obnoxious.
I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Its hard to see from the road though but the shipping center itself is easy to find. Got a loaded quesadilla with chorizo, which was great and also cheaper than I thought it would be. The employees were overall nice and the place was clean. Would come back.

This is authentic Latin American style meats,sides and toppings served up in Chipotle style way. Tacos,burritos,rice bowls etc.....The food is AWESOME!!!!! The food was seasoned perfectly and super fresh. (25 years in the restaurant biz).Portions are generous.No ingredients were greasy or poorly prepared.Friendly,helpful staff. Super clean without feeling sterile.A dinner for two, taco platters(3 tacos) a small salad that was big enough to split, with drinks and a dessert for 25$? SCORE!!!!!!!You can get Tofu,seasoned ,as a meat alternative! Not for me but a major plus to please vegans! Brown rice is a choice and Tilapia for fish choice.This lovely place has a great future. As a true lover of Latin American food,I hope they do well. We will be regulars ,for sure!!!

The food is non-spicy but has so much flavor. The kebabs are good. They have nice sitting arrangements. The restaurant also has a small grocery section with a small pickle and olives bar and small section for buying meat.
I got it (online order) they skipped our order and when I came I expected my order to be ready and it wasn’t ready. To make up for it they gave me chips and salsa for free. When I got home, my burrito tasted terrible. Salsa tasted nothing like salsa should taste like. I don’t recommend this place. Not to mention, it’s VERY pricy.
Pathetic service. The order was wrong and they sent a smaller drink then I ordered. I got chicken when I ordered steak and it was supposed to come with guacamole and it wasnt there. They also didnt listen when they were told to call my phone upon delivery and bothered my landlord. Two dishes,drink,cornbread and a chili ended up costing me over $40 with tax,tip and delivery charge. I called to let them know and the manager they out me on the phone with was the guy who delivered the food. He just said sorry and rushed me off the phone. He said he will give me something complimentary next time. There wont be a next time. DONT BOTHER
This place use to be 5stars my absolute favorite but idk what happened over the last few months. They constantly forget items that I pay extra for, theyve become so cheap with the amount of meat they give. I even said extra chicken and got two little chunks they charged $3 for! Ive given enough tries to give the benefit of a bad night but truth is its just a disappointment Everytime... never ordering again.
My group of friends and I usually go to Moes for Taco Tuesday, but this is our new weekly spot :) Way better food for the same price, and the staff is lively, engaging, and makes sure you acknowledge your business is appreciated. 10 / 10 Would Recommend!

Burritos are made to order and you can get CHEESE SAUCE in the burrito! Great for someone who cant get enough cheese. Lots of options for protein like chorizo and shrimp that you cant get at a large chain. Highly recommended you order in the restaurant and skip the GrubHub fee. Those add-ons creep up on you.
Maracas is pretty awesome. Its kinda like Chipotle but with the freshness and taste more like Green Cactus. It tastes flavorful and fresh more similar to a sit down restaurant. The portions are nice and the price is reasonable.
Maracas is one of the best mexican food places on LI. I go here all the time! I love their unique items like the mac and cheese tamales and all of the menu items have an authentic mexican taste. I know the chef and owners personally and they are great people who really want to serve great food to the people of Long Island. Definitely check it out!!!

Best mexican food on long island. They have all different variations of food and everything that me and my girlfriend have tried has always been great. All of the ingredients are the always fresh and the size of the food theh give you is amazing for how affordable the price is. The honey siracha chicken is my favorite along with the delicious spanish rice. And for desert they have amazing warm sweet different flavored churros with cream and caramel. Amazing.

I love their tacos and how easy it is to get exactly the combination you want. They have cool specials, too, like mac and cheese tamales. Their chorizo is excellent, too

Not a fan. Just ate here. Food sits out and is not that fresh or hot. The girl serving me had bright red hair and her love handles hanging out of her shirt. Almost walked out before ordering I got so turned off, then the food stunk. Going back to The Green Cactus across the street! Much better and much fresher!
Hands down the worst people I’ve ever had to deal with. I’ve never dealt with more rude people, I was cursed at and talked down to but as well I ordered a chimichanga and the guy gave me a burrito with dried pork and barely any sour cream and had the audacity to ask me if I even knew what a chimichanga was lol, even though I’ve spent months in Mexico, Central America and South America lol... doesn’t matter, the people are mean, foods horrible and all I can say is good luck!
This place food is good but the cashier try to rob me my order came up to $57.00 I said hold on I have to run to the car and get more money that took me about 25 seconds I came back inside my price changed to $66 so Im like really lady..so she acts like cant under stand English now and start speaking Spanish...great then she laughs about it when I take everything out the bag and start adding it up...now she says she charged me for fish plate ...Im like really she really lady she really tried to scam me...I clearly know the difference from a mistake and getting robbed if I was dumb I would of just paid her the she would of pocketed the rest. But overall I give them 3 start all it take is 1 bad apple to mess up the 5....
Great food! Have had burritos, burrito bowls, salad bowls, quesadillas, jalapeño poppers, mozzarella sticks...everything is delicious!! We’ve had a couple of delivery issues and errors, but the staff is always very nice and helpful.

Chicken wings are the bomb literally they were so spicy we also ate burritos and they were so good you had so many options I highly recommend it and the drinks are really good so I really recommend it if your hungry or with family

Came 30 min before closing received a huge attitude from the girl when I asked for 4 burritos . very horrible experience I don’t know who is in charge but I don’t see the place being successful in the long run with the current employees running the place . Posting while extremely annoyed. The restaurant closes at 9:00pm, and we ordered our food for delivery before 8:00pm. Its currently later than 9:30pm, and we have no hope that our food will be here, and we cant call to see what the problem is because the restaurant is closed.

Theyre great when you dine in, but ordering from Uber Eats is horrible because the menu does not represent what they can give you and they are not receptive to making it right when theres a problem, they blame Uber Eats.
I stopped going gear shortly after they opened up because the quality just wasnt very good, I tried it around six months ago and to my surprise that place has changed dramatically, I actually enjoyed the food how much nicer fresher taste and the service was much nicer I have eaten there a few times since then and have enjoyed the food I guess they have won my business back again definitely worth a try

Nastiest food Ive ever had. It was uneddible. Asked for steak loaded nachos, got chicken all the food looked old, chips were stale. So hot in there I was sweating. Girls working looked misserable. They lost my business. It was gross.
I love being able to eat delicious food at a good temperature, the best prices in the place, and you can take it home, its big and quiet, you dont have to wait in long lines and they never give you reheated food or cold burrito in the center like other restaurants .

2022-06-10I really enjoyed the food here! I was torn between a few options and the staff recommended the loaded nachos. I am very glad she did. I put on so many toppings and was very happy with it because each bite was delicious. I also got jarritos in tamarind which is pretty rare in my opinion and very good. They also have various hot sauces that you can put in a small container for your choosing.

2022-07-01I went last night with my mom. The counter girls were very sweet. I’m very picky and Sophie was very patient with taking my complicated order. The food was delicious. I drove from Ronkonkoma to try something new. Totally worth it.

2019-03-28The place is well suited for groups of 4 or less. The burritos and tacos are great but not over the top. The reason you come to this place is because their specialty stuff like the macaroni dishes are worth the trip. Def going back.

2020-04-01The food was pretty good. I liked the tacos. My wife got the burrito bowl, she rated it a 4/5. They charged extra for the melted nacho cheese on the nachos. Check out the pictures to see how much they gave.

2022-02-05The food was horrible not mexican at all dont understand why they call it maracas. The rice was hard and the items in the window looked old and dry like its been sitting there all day. Way tooo expensive for that nasty food the lady added to much cilantro to my burrito hubby got the loaded nachos and she drenshed it in cheese sauce . would not recommend at all for that go to taco bell or chipotle

2022-01-15Called in told wait was 60 minutes… 😳 for Tacos!!! Arrived an hour later order wasn’t prepared. Waited a while longer and then they began my order which I had to correct. Meat was cold, not seasoned, and oily. Won’t be returning here.

2021-06-29Amazing, amazing! My family hosted a baby shower for me that was taco themed and we have gotten RAVE reviews from attendees about the food. Not only was it delicious, but they were a delight to work with and it was so reasonable. I highly recommend for catering but also as a quick bite to eat on a casual night for dinner or take-out. Never disappoints!

2021-11-12Don’t get me wrong the food taste great but unfortunately this is the third time in a row the meat was ice cold. Like as cold as the lettuce, sour cream and other refrigerated toppings. If the meat was hot this place would definitely be the best around but temperature is important for people to fully enjoy their dinner.
