I had a great and wonderful experience with DR Hertz. the new officeis beautiful and clean and also has brand new state of art machines.DR Hertz has magic hands. i had my wisdom tooth pulled. its not my first wisdom tooth that i had pulled so i have experience and he made it very easy. he counted to 10 and didnt feel a thing i even ask him if its out already when it was. i got there 9:30 in morning and was out by 10thank you Dr
Best best best oral surgeon in town!! Before I came I was blown away by the reviews and once I had my own wisdom tooth pulled out I have my own proof to write and say that Dr hertz has magical hands!! I was so so so scared and I did not feel a thing. I even asked when will I feel the needle when the dr is like it’s already out. If you need a oral surgeon I highly highly recommend you come to this one. You won’t regret it!!!!
Best dentist out there , if you need to get a wisdom tooth pulled to not look any further dr hurtz it the best to do it . Caring , friendly and attentive, he moved his schedule around to make sure to fit me in .procedure was smooth and dr hurtz made sure it was least painful as possible. Extremely nice and caring would highly recommend to anyone.
POSTED THIS ON A DIFFERENT SITE. REPOSTING HERETHE BEST EVER!!!!! Needed a wisdom tooth pulled. I was out of town at the time it started hurting. By the time I got back I was in agony! Not even strong painkillers could help. Dr. Hertz agreed to see me even though it was at the end of the day on Friday before the weekend and he still had a long trip home! Bottom line the extraction went as smooth as possible. He did such a good job that within 24 hours I was completely off painkillers and feeling almost normal. I had no swelling at all. A couple of days later Dr. Hertz even called me to see how I was doing. I would highly recommend anyone that needs an Oral Surgeon use Dr. Hertz. They will be happy they did!
Very helpful and awesome Dentist. The staff are very welcoming and informative. Despite how complicated my insurance made things for us, he was very persistent and showed how much he wanted to help me. He was very thorough with information and also made me feel very comfortable. I was so relaxed during the entire tooth extration procedure. I recommend this Oral Surgeon to anyone. Thank you Dr. Hertz.
My wife needed to get tooth extractions and have a coronectomy procedure . Dr Hertz and his wife were so comforting and patient . Everything went smoothly and it’s just 18 hours since the procedure and my wife is doing great.
This past Fall, I went to Dr. Hertz for a consultation and he recommended a tooth extraction; however, it would take a few weeks before my next appointment since I had to obtain a referral. Shortly after, I received a letter from my health insurance indicating my coverage would end within the next week because I no longer qualified. They were at least able to process my referral faster because I explained I couldnt afford to pay thousands of dollars for this procedure. I called Dr. Hertz immediately and explained the situation and that I needed to be seen within the next week before my coverage ended. He went above and beyond to help me. He was overbooked during that week (due to holidays) so he went as far as coming in on a Saturday night to do my procedure - there was another patient there too. I got my tooth extracted (which had been a problem for years) this past September and havent had a single issue since. The process was pain free and I didnt even need to take any medication after the procedure. I highly recommend him!
When I went to my dentist for a cleaning somewhere in Ave U; she told me that I needed 4 wisdom teeth removed. They refered me to a oral surgeon, but they didn’t take my insurance. That’s when I took matter into my hands. I began googling oral surgeons; I found a lot, but the one that had the best reviews was Dr. Marc Hertz. I called up and asked if they take my insurance plan; they said yes !!! The first day I met him he was very kind and happy to see me ! I scheduled my first tooth extraction session. The best part was the anesthesia 😂 !! But nonetheless he the process painless. I followed all of his directions and within a month or so i was back to my normal self. But, ofc I had to do another extraction. This was the last one. When I left his office I was dealing with pain, but by the end of the night the pain has gone down a lot. I want to thank you for your great help. If your insurance covers; then i recommend Dr. Marc Hertz. Now I hope for a speedy recovery!!! 😊
Best out there! I had nerves wrapped around my wisdom tooth and went to two other places before. They said Id need to sign a waiver that I wont sue if my face or lips become permanently numb. Dr. Hertz explained it could be a possibility but said in confidence that he has done this many times and never had a problem and he doesnt see why Id be any different. definitely recommend!
For those looking for a oral surgeon Marc Hertz is it. I am going to tell you why. I have had this issue with my ear infections that kept coming back and this has been going on for almost 6 months. My ENT doctor couldnt figure out what it was I had to go through MRIs and an allergy tests and a hearing test. Then they came back and told me that it looks like you have TMJ. Im like what!? How can this be? They kept telling me oh it sometimes come with age? (SMH) It got to the point my ENT doctor said I cant do anything more for you because he doesnt deal with jaw issues. At this point frustration was out the door! He told me to go back to my dentist or see an oral surgeon. So I had to call my insurance and they gave me a list of names. This is where Marc B. Hertz came into the picture. What I did first I googled him! Lol I wanted to view his reviews to see what I will be dealing with next. I decided to make an appointment because my gum area and my molars were so super sensitive and I was already having abscess on my molars. Yes I googled that too and it turns out I want to fix this asap. I made an appointment with Mr. Hertz and I have to say my first visit was very pleasant. I saw that Mr. Hertz was very busy so I waited till it was my turn. As soon as I went in the room he was so nice w/ smiles to greet me. I know that he saw fear and frustration on my face. I continued to tell him my issue, to make a long story short this visit of course was just to check my situation, it wasnt my actual appointment. After telling him we proceeded to get a full mouth x-ray. In a matter of minutes he came in w/ my x-ray sat down and showed me on the screen what the problem was. I was like OMG!! he already saw the issue and continued to tell me that my molars lost some bone mass and they were sinking down into my gum that is why they looked grey on the x-ray. That is why I was getting the abscess on my molars. I was so relieved to know what the problem was. He then explained to me that I can have them extracted or seek to save my molars. In this case I was like I dont want issues anymore and I also red root canals have more problems!! No way do I want anymore pain. I decided to have them pulled out!! Continued with my appointments and I have to say Dr. Hertz was gentle, kind, very excellent to explain thoroughly in great detail what the issues are and how the extraction process takes place. I have never ever met a doctor who really cares!! This man loves his profession to really help people in pain. Ever since I got my molars pulled out Im Good!! Youre in good hands with this man who is an angel to help you through your pain!!! I would recommend him to the world!! Especially when we all know a lot of doctors are about the paycheck or dont have any bed side manners to help you. Im just keeping it real!! Dr Marc Hertz is your oral surgeon you wont be discourage at all. Do know tho he does get booked because he is that good. But stick w/ him.Thank you Dr. Marc Hertz for doing such a great job at what you do and that is help people!Take care at what you do. (((Hugs)))))
Doctor Hertz had a very nice bedside manner. He reassured me, as I was nervous about getting a wisdom tooth extracted. He made sure I was nice and comfortable. As I type Im, 4 hours post extraction, and Im able to eat (on one side of course) and Im not in pain. The only hurt is in the name... 😉 😉 😊 😊
The staff are very cordial and accommodating, service was fast and Dr. Marc Hertz made me feel at ease and less scared. The dental procedure I had was totally painless. It was a great experience. Thank you very much Dr. Hertz. You are awesome.
Wish I can rate with 6 stars😉....he is ABSOLUTELY the BEST!!! So efficient and painless...I expected to have blue and purple marks on my cheeks after extracting my wisdom teeth which were on a nerve but didnt even have minimal swelling!!
N.Y. is privileged to have dr hertz!!!! from the second i walked in the staff treated me like a king never losing their patience. I had 3 procedures done by dr hertz and all off them including my wisdom teeth felt perfectly fine the next day that i even went to school. the dr picked up the phone anytime i called him to answer all my questions. i wish all my doctors can be like dr hertz.
My daughter had four of the wisdom teeth remove from doctor Heartz it was painless and fast . He definitely is an excellent doctor I would highly recommend. He is a master in his job . Great job!!!
I was shaking when I went even tho I read all these amazing reviews- but I hav to say that dr. Hertz has the most angelic hands. I did not feel any pain at all. And even tho I was officially awake just given something to make me drowsy- I hardly remembered any part of the procedure rite after it was done. Dr hertz also has such fine bedside manner and his assistant calmed me down a lot. I’m not even scared to go back to do the other two.

2022-03-21Dr. Hertz is truly amazing. Great personality and amazing at his craft. He cares greatly for his patients and makes sure they are perfectly comfortable and well. Also, goes above and beyond with working with you and tries to fit to your schedule. I was able to get both sets of my wisdom teeth done in a timely fashion that went well with my schedule.

2022-01-14BEST Oral surgeon i know!!! Calm, cool, collected, funny, caring, my son was freaking out in the chair and he got him to laugh and calmed him down. He was super efficient taking out 4 teeth with no pain at all.... this is the guy u want, when you need complex work done in your mouth, and your anxious about it. I myself had 2 wisdom teeth removed, he did it so fast and smooth like slight of hand fast, one second Im sitting in the chair getting ready the next thing I know Im shaking his hand saying good bye and its all over and done PAIN FREE. I cant forget his lovely wife always making sure to keep the patients calm throughout the process.Thank You!!!

2021-12-03Dr. Hertz and his wife are amazing people, they make a wonderful team. I had my top left wisdom tooth pulled and a coronectomy done on my bottom left wisdom tooth, due to the unfortunate fact that it was sitting on a nerve. During the procedure I didn’t feel any pain at all, it took about an hour but felt like 10 minutes. Dr. Hertz explains everything to you and answers all your questions, he’s a sweet and gentle guy. I would recommend him to any and everyone who’s looking for a great oral surgeon.

2022-07-08I visited the office of Dr. Marc Hertz for extractions of four wisdom teeth. I was very anxious but Dr Hertzs amazing chairside demeanor and calming personality really put me in ease. Dr Hertz is a true professional and a very caring Oral Surgeon. I would highly recommend Dr. Hertz.

2021-06-10Here’s my story, my upper left wisdom tooth began to act up. The result was lots of pain in the gum and on the nerve. My general dentist advised me to have the tooth pulled to eliminate present and future pain. Dr Hertz came highly recommended and today my tooth was pulled.Dr Hertz and his Wife are a wonderful team. I was nervous about the procedure at first and they made feel at ease. The Dr is very professional, caring, and super knowledgeable about oral surgery. I had a ton of questions and the Dr answered everyone despite having other patients waiting. The office is state of the art with the latest equipment. They took a complete pano x-Ray of my jaw and teeth so the Dr could completely see the issue and extract the tooth as pain free as possible by seeing how my tooth had grown in. The Dr made me feel comfortable and the result was zero pain without any complication. I highly, highly, recommend Dr Hertz should you require oral surgery. I would never go anywhere else after today’s positive experience.

2021-08-27Undoubtedly the best dental-related experience i’ve ever had. The most competent oral surgeon Ive gone to and Ive been to a few in my 57 years.From the first day I visited his office I’ve felt as though I’ve been cared for and treated like family. Meticulous and exceptional doctor skills.He takes personal care of everything. I never once felt like I was passed on to someone else when I called. Ive had extractions and implants. Not simple things....and they all turned out extremely well.I am very anxious patient, and have no nerves any longer going to Dr Hertzs office. Hes the only choice for me and my family.

2021-09-10Dr. Hertz treated me like a relative. Im 47 years old and Dr. Hertz extracted my wisdom tooth. I was very nervous at first but he made me feel calm. The procedure itself was not painful. He called me the next day to make sure I was ok and I was. I will always recommend Dr. Marc Hertz.

2019-03-25I moved from LA a couple months back and got worried when my wisdom teeth started to hurt. I didnt know any oral surgeons near me in the city, but my aunt suggested that I visit Dr. Hertz. Im so happy I listened. Dr. Hertz did an incredible job. He extracted my two top wisdom teeth and the operation could not have gone better. He uses a sedative so everything went by so quickly and painlessly.Two days later and I still have not needed to use any pain medication. My face looks totally normal (no swelling at all!). I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Hertz to anyone looking for a skilled and very kind oral surgeon.

2019-01-11Had a last minute oral surgery to remove a wisdom tooth that needed to be done because another office was out sick. The receptionist here was awesome and worked with me to find a way to get me in. Dr. Hertz was also great. They did local anesthesia and that same day of surgery I only took 3 Ibuprofen tablets and nothing else afterwards. No pain on the second day and everything is healing well a week out. I dont know how this is possible after the stories I have heard from friends about extractions but it is amazing.
