Completely unorganized and severe lack of communication. The owner John and Anthony of the dealership made me feel cared for and were empathetic and that is truly the reason I cannot possibly grant 1 star. In spite of all my outrage, I truly felt that they cared and wanted to provide me with as much care as possible.Credit was run 10 TIMES by the dealership, which did not do any favors for taking the loan out from my own bank , and impacted the credit tier my elderly parents whom I was helping shop for cars received. Although I explained the unique loan option I received I was “guaranteed” that they could beat it. When they couldn’t and after they checked every single bank in the tri state area, it seems; left us holding the bag and to deal with the immediate damage done to my father’s credit (including inquiries for mortgage loans and other personal property loans done either by the banks or requested by the dealer). If I was a half glass empty kind of guy, I could bet this was done purposely to thrash my credit and secure that financing was done with their affiliates.Upon asking multiple times to not wash the car, and that I wanted to detail the car myself: entering to pickup the vehicle I heard in passing that our Jeep Gladiator was finishing up the wash now and should be out. “The kid” was still washing it. I believe it truly could have been a child washing it, as when I got home I noticed a large scratch on the rear plastic bumper and under LED detail paint inspection light, a nice round spot on the tailgate from where the polisher was left for too long. Some polishing defect on the rear-driver side color matched fender flare as well. I was focused on inspecting paint as best I could prior to leaving dealer that I did not notice the bumper scratch. I guess that’s on me expecting the new car to be treated carefully and not doing a full top to bottom inspection before leaving.With new cars being far and few between, some tips if Marina has the car you want to buy: You’re better off securing financing somewhere else, getting pre approved prior to even thinking about coming to this lot, whoever “the Kid” don’t let em wash/polish your car, and try your best to speak directly to Anthony and John (if you feel like your getting taken for a ride no pun intended). Look at every square inch of the vehicle when you choose it, once it’s ready for pickup PRIOR to signing paperwork, and once more before leaving the lot.As excited as I was to help purchase a new vehicle for my parents, with all the commotion over financing that has had real world consequences, and the marks on the paint and scratch on the bumper I really feel the “new car charm” fell a little flat with them once my parents noticed the scratch, and for me once I used my detailing tools to inspect the paint in a way I could not on the lot. In addition to the damage done to my fathers credit initially, the big purchase that some people make only once or twice in their life became less reason for celebration than it should have.Mechanically the car is new and sound so far, small ding on the frame likely from dismounting it from the trailer upon delivery which is difficult to control with so many variables and often limited space, and it runs great for the small time we drove it. Was happy to find the car we wanted at Marina, just unfortunate that lack of communication, careless back-end workers, and greed all but ruined the experience for us.
I went to Marina just to look around and that is where I had the pleasure of working with Nick Inzinna. He was so helpful answering every question that I had about the vehicles I am interested in. Nick was very knowledgeable and professional on top of all the help he gave me! I highly recommend going there to see him because you’ll have the best experience and he will go out of his way to make things happen for you! I know I’ll be back very soon to purchase the vehicle I’ve been looking for and it will most definitely be with Nick!

Sales was great but good luck with service. We purchased the warranty for our vehicle to cover any future problems. About 6 months ago I took the vehicle in with an issue and we were told it was covered under warranty and the part would be order and they’d call us when it was in or when there was an update. It’s now 6 months later and still haven’t heard a thing. We have called dozens of times over the months and have not yet been able to speak to anyone as you get sent right to voicemail. They do not return any calls when you leave a voicemail either. It has been very frustrating as the warranty makes the payment $50 more a month but what’s the point of having it if you can never get in or talk to anyone.

I just recently bought a jeep from Marina CDJR , and I will say that Michael Dilorenzo made my experience in car buying easier than I could imagine. Mike was super helpful, super friendly, and explained the entire prosses and every paper to me. Unlike most dealerships, I did not feel pushed into buying a car. Mike let me test drive the cars I was interested in and asked which one I liked the most. Then he showed me price options and let me pick. After a call from my insurance the next day I was able to pick my car up the following day. If anyone is looking to buy a vehicle that fits your needs, I highly recommend going to Marina. Also , ask for Michael Dilorenzo, and he will get you started , and make you actually feel like your satisfaction is their top priority. I when I get ready for a new car, I will be heading back to Marina first.
UPDATE:Popped in there today with my sister for an appointment with Buddy. Again he was awesome and helped put my sister at ease. We didnt find the perfect car for her yet but fingers crossed we will soon.ORIGINAL:My experience at Marina was amazing. I was set up with someone else originally and was then set up with Mike Buddy Lawler. Mike was by far the best sales person I have EVER dealt with at ANY dealership. He was able to run all the numbers, answer any questions or concerns I had with perfectly clear and concise answers. He put me at ease and treated me respectfully, which is hard to come by being a woman buying a new car.Alex from the mitsubishi side was equally great for the short time that I spent with him. He helped me set up the car and walked me through it all. He also answered any questions I had.Good job to both of them. I will definitely be a repeat customer in the future. I would highly recommend friends and family to this dealership.

Alex at Marina did a great job with the no pressure sale of our new Outlander. While inventory everywhere low, we ordered SE model that arrived within his estimates and he was very responsive via text on questions and status updates. He made the paper work efficient and did thorough job on feature review at pick up. REALLY pleased with both the car and the buying process at Marina.

I walked into the Marina dealership looking for a lease deal on a Jeep Compass and I got just what I wanted. I was offered every incentive available to me and a number of payment ranges to choose from. I chose the one right for me and picked up my new Compass later that day. It was a very simple and comfortable process, every employee I dealt with was welcoming and knowledgeable.
Marina dodge is currently dodging my phone calls. My partner and I have been trying to make an appointment with the finance manager Corey since before the holiday season. We purchased a vehicle from them and two days into ownership, a flashing warning light came on that the oil levels were dangerously low. We took the car into the shop and were informed, there was no oil in the vehicle. Marina said there was nothing they could do since we went somewhere else to get the oil changed and our deal was done. That was the start of our problems with the vehicle. After finally getting out of that vehicle we are now fighting to get our refund for our service contract and extended warranty. After owning three mopar products, this dealership has inspired me to never purchase another vehicle from any stalantis dealership ever again.
They sent me a quote one day and told me over the phone that they would honor it, however when I went there the next day, they started making excuses about the current values in the marketplace and low-balled me with an on the spot price that was more than $2000 less than the bottom of the previous range quote. Very dishonest and unethical. Cannot be trusted.
Me and my wife just bought out first new car together and it was a great experience from start to finish. Our salesman Tyler showed excellent customer service with a personal touch and a smile, they do everything they can to make sure they get you into a great vehicle while sticking as close to budget as possible, all while making the whole experience as comfortable as possible, the car is a Mirage, and we love it!! Couldnt recommend Marina Mitsubishi or our salesman Tyler more!
Great experience! No pressure and their goal was to make me happy. It was fun working with Carlos and Corey! My 3rd vehicle bought here this year! The owner John Gabrielle was there all three times. He took the time to come over and say hi and see if everything was going well. Also remembers who you are each visit! I highly recommend!
I am a college student and was looking for a nice car for me so, this is where I went. I brought a used car from them a year ago. Nice, black, 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. So, last week my car was acting weird when I drove it and I found out my transmission is messed up and the fluid is burnt. I went to have my inspection and oil change in May this year there and they told me everything was great. They lied. If my transmission wasn’t good they would’ve knew that already because they are supposed to check your transmission during an inspection. Why would you sell a college student a car like this? How would you feel if this were to happen to your child? I work very hard everyday for work and college, and they told me it cost $9,600 to fix my car. Excuse me? How does a transmission cost more than I paid for the car?! I know that transmissions are expensive, but also know that they don’t cost THAT much money. Makes no sense. I so was furious. Then they were telling me it’s not worth repairing and I should just trade it in. No thanks. I refuse to even buy another car for them. They must think money grows on trees or something. I honestly believe they never even serviced my transmission. Another thing that happened after I got the car was the battery ended up dying. That should’ve been replaced before I got the car. Also, I had my brother call to talk to the service manager named Larry. My brother was in the middle of a sentence and the manager hung up on him. Terrible customer service and everyone I spoke to sounded so careless. I will honestly never deal with this place ever again.
First time in a new vehicle and it was a fantastic experience. Kevin was the salesman and I couldn’t have asked for a better salesman. He worked within my budget and around my schedule. Fantastic experience. Thank you to the Marina family and most of all Kevin for making this as easy as possible.
The Dealership had to order the vehicle I requested with a delivery date 8 to 12 weeks. To my astonishment my vehicle came in in record time. Truly a great experience dealing with the personnel at the dealership. My hat is off to them for sure great service. And prompt delivery from the sales department.
I deal with Shane thumbs up car guy Pitts, hes treated me with nothing but respect and they are fair. Its nice to have all my servicing done there as well. They are fair with pricing for service repairs and I have never had an issue with any repairs. Just got my second jeep from here and I am very happy.
The worst new car place from sales to service. My new Jeep, or should I say fiat is on its third moter. Also brakes the front end bar rings weekly. John acts like its my fault. It is for giving him my money 💰John says he doesnt make the cars, go somewhere else. Dont be afraid to get some legal help.
My family has been loyal to Marina since back when they were in Irondequoit. They have always gone out of their way to make things easy, from buying cars to service and more. I recently custom ordered and bought a wrangler (my third car through them). Things could not have gone more smoothly. It is a great family owned and operated dealership that tells it like it is and they are just genuinely good people.
Total bait and switch job. Found this dealer through a search for a specific truck through the Dodge website. The vehicle was listed with a MSRP of $83,770 which we were willing to pay. I called and spoke with sales person Kevin Kordas. He took a credit card for a deposit and had us complete a credit application. Prior to running our credit card and prior to submitting our credit application he sent us a summary of what the payments would be. He added $10,000 to the price. When I pointed out the mistake he said it was not a mistake but the price of the truck after the “Addendum” was added. I have purchased dozens of vehicles and never heard that term ever used. He never mentioned this price bump in our initial sales call and even after sending us the payment summary he didn’t point it out. I had to ask about it before it was discussed. This is exactly why car dealers get such a bad rep. Very sleazy tactics. Not a dealership I would ever want to do business with. Very disappointing.
Not to happy with our salesman. Bought out our leased 2019 compass. He sold us on paying extra to make it a certified pre-owned. The big selling point was the 3000mile/3month bumper to bumper. He kept telling us if ANYTHING is wrong its covered. Went in for an oil change and rotate today....was told by him our first oil change and rotate is free.....and we also have 2 bad sway bar links . Well.....the rotate was NOT covered...even though he said it was. I bought our tires at bjs so I get free rotation there....one of the guys in service was nice enough to cover it when I told him. But then we found out the warranty he sold us on has a $100 deductible. He never once told us that ever. And we even asked to make sure there wasnt. I dont know why we wasted our money now. Not sure we would purchase our next one there now.
I had an excellent experience recently at Marina! My jeep is back to running like new! It’s almost 10 years old. David in the service department was great to work with. He was very patient and never acted like I was bothering him. He made sure the issue with my Jeep was taken care of before letting me come pick it up!
Jose G. got me into a 2021 compass trailhawk 4x4 and it is a dream to drive. He made the entire process and transfer into the new car a breeze, had everything ready for when I arrived and was extremely honest in every detail of the process. Finance department had all my paperwork ready to sign, no hassle negations, they ensured I felt comfortable with my payment before I signed anything and broke down all costs and such for my deal. Very clean and professional environment. Would 10/10 recommend Jose G. and Marina Auto Group as a whole for anyone in the market to buy a car!
We had a great experience upon walking in one of the salesmen sat with us a tall guy and after telling him our budget and situation he “checked” and said “we don’t have anything close to that” and gave us the address to another of their locations, Alex heard that and was looking at some papers and said hold on I’m sure I can help you guys out and he certainly did, he worked with what we had and got us on something a lot newer than we were expecting with payments so low my kids karate class is cheaper. He was genuinely trying to help us get what we wanted within our budget even going as far as saying that if he didn’t have it there our info would be in the system so we could go to another one of the dealerships they owned. But it wasn’t necessary he got us the car we wanted answered the 1000 questions we had and he always seemed eager to help us all the way. I will be coming back and asking for Alex, we’ve never been treated better. The guy from accounting could be better but Alex made the experience worth it.

He kept in contact with all my questions always kind and courteous! Worked out a great deal for me with the finance team. 2 days later picked up car and received the best buying experience ever. Ive bought and sold many vehicles over the years and was fully expecting the typical dealership experience here: lack of communication, excessive fees, unclear numbers, overselling on ext warranty and contracts. Experience absolutely none of that. Was shopping for a specific used car and one showed up online. My inquiry was immediately responded to and I was provided the cell # of Kevin K. who called me right away and offered to text me. We negotiated a fair deal over text and there were absolutely 0 surprises when we came to pick up our new/car. Kevin was straight forward, honest and super easy to deal with. F&I/paperwork was quick and seamless. No excessive fees (doc fee $95, shop supplies $75). Used to seeing doc fees of $499+ in CT. Overall we had an excellent experience and are very happy with our purchase. Aftersales follow up so far has been great and we have had no issues. As a sales manager of one of the largest motorcycle dealerships in the Northeast, this was a refreshing car buying experience.
I have been a loyal Jeep customer for the last 12 years, and have done sales with various Jeep Dealerships in Syracuse, NY. Recently, I was in a situation where I was almost over mileage with a lot of time left on my lease. I had spoken to a couple dealerships about my situation, and they were quick to write me off because it was easier to do that, than help me get out of the situation I was in. Shortly after, I was encouraged to reach out to Johnny Gabriele at Marina. From the first conversation we had, Johnny not only listened to my concerns, he also looked into the situation, and got back to me in a very timely manner with a couple different options. He was respectful of my financial budget, while also trying to find me a vehicle that would be best for my needs and situation. Too often when purchasing a vehicle, it becomes overwhelming because of the pressure placed on the customer to make a purchase. Johnny provided me with options, and reassured me to take all the time I needed before making any decisions. During this process, he made himself available during times that worked with my schedule to talk and answer any questions I had while I made a decision. Once I decided on the Jeep Grand Cherokee I wanted to purchase, Johnny was very organized and detailed about what I needed to provide for every part of the process. From the moment I walked into the showroom, I felt welcomed by every person working at Marina. During a time of many uncertainties with COVID, they made sure every space was clean and were very mindful of health & safety guidelines. When it was finally time to sit with Johnny to sign paperwork, he took the time to explain in detail what every paper, description and number meant. He was respectful and patient, and willing to answer any additional questions I had. He also spent time showing the new car to me, and making sure it was set up before I left. I can’t say enough about the incredible experience I had at Marina as well as working with Johnny. I love my new Grand Cherokee. My only regret in all of this, is that I didn’t make the drive to Rochester years ago to get my Jeeps through Marina. A huge thank you to Johnny and everyone at Marina for making this entire process such a positive one. I look forward to working with you again in the future!

Sales dept is fantastic! I worked with Shane and he made things very quick and easy. We changed our mind last minute on which trim level we wanted and he accommodated without issue. The service dept... a bit of a nightmare. Left another customers keys in my car when I picked it up, both issues I brought it in for were not truly fixed. By the time I got home the same issues were present. I have now taken it to a different dealership who is taking care of the problems the correct way.

It was a very pushy experience. I like the jeep i bought, but if i would of had more time to look over the features i may have passed. Then each quote i got from the website to the sales rep to the financial officer kept growing and growing to almost $100 more per month from what i originally thought itd be. Not cool with some with excellent credit and putting a large down-payment down.
Nice people. But I only went in to get some numbers and find out where I needed to be to purchase a vehicle. They ran my credit for some reason so I got dinged on my credit score. Not a huge deal but Im trying to build my credit back up. Plus they were about a $1,000 off on my trade. Again would not have been a big deal but the trade in value of the car was only $3000 according to KBB. They offered me half of that. Another dealer offered us $3000 for it towards a used car. This was for a brand new vehicle. So all in all I will probably never go back.

I had multiple negative experiences here last week. The main cause of my negative experiences seems to be a lack of communication at the dealership.We paid a deposit on a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. We tried to pay the evening before, but were told to call over the phone the next morning to pay the deposit for whatever reason. The deposit was paid the next morning and I went to the dealership that same day expecting to trade in my Jeep Renegade for the Jeep Grand Cherokee I had my heart set on only to be told that someone else paid $7,000 on it. We paid a deposit plus had the value of my trade-in, which far exceeded someone elses deposit, but were told that I could not get the car because someone didnt inform whoever that a deposit was paid on this vehicle. They didnt even tell us who paid first. I was extremely disappointed because this was obvious it was the dealerships error, not mines. The dealership tried to rectify the situation by saying they had the same exact vehicle in gray for $1,000 more with less mileage and threw in a free package valued at $2,000. But the car was actually silver billet metallic and had rust and dents. The car also didnt drive as smoothly as the first car. I put a deposit down but ended up going back to get a refund because I felt like it wasnt worth dealing with this dealership.The day before I was screwed over on getting that 2017 Grand Cherokee I wanted, I had originally went to the dealership with the hope to buy a 2017 Jeep Cherokee priced at under $16,000. In fact, multiple people did and we were all told by management that the car was actually $19,000. We even saw a lady and a young man excitedly test drive the vehicle and were ready to get the car, only to be told this disappointing news. This was minutes before we were told the same thing. This was a huge disappointment and it made me wonder why the error wasnt fixed if multiple people came by the dealership that same day. It seemed to me that the salespeople werent told about the error either.Based on what I experienced, the poor communication between people at Marina is what prevented me from getting the 2017 Cherokee and the 2017 Grand Cherokee. This is also what prevented me from getting the rusting 2017 Grand Cherokee, too. I would not recommend Marina to anyone based on my experience last week.
When buying a car they seem very professional. However shortly after the purchase there level of help dissipates. Loosing important documents not returning phone calls and one member of there group after i said good morning how are you answered saying, Im to busy, just tell me why you called. All I want to do is cancel an extended warranty Im paying for and i cant recieve help which now cost me another $138 because they are too busy to work with me. Professional? Only if your willing to throw money away

The staff at Marina was great from the very start. I had been to multiple places and was very discouraged. When I called the woman assured me I wouldn’t be wasting mine or salesman job. I made an appointment and came right in. Alex was awesome. We reviewed a bunch of options and was very honest. I thought there was no way I could get approved. I left extremely discouraged. He and all the staff worked really hard and got me approved with better numbers then we had even agreed on. He was extremely proficient and respectful of my time. Bought a car from them. They tried to cover an odor with some sort of chemical cleaner, it was way to strong. We had to have cabin filters changed after we bought it and we have kept the windows open in the garage since we bought it trying to let the odor dissipate. We also negotiated them to get mats (for some reason they were removed). They told us they would get us Volvo mats, but they didn’t. They got us some off brand mats and they didn’t get a trunk mat. It is a luxury vehicle off the lease and we paid what the car was worth...the mats and the chemical odor are inexcusable.
Drove by and saw a Range Rover in the lot which I have been looking for. Stopped and looked around the car and saw multiple sales men outside and asked if it was for sale. They said yes the owner is just driving it. When I asked the price they said “that’s a big ticket” and “not cheap” as if I was totally unaware of the cost of the vehicle. Reluctantly one went inside to check price and came back with price but no miles or any other info. Extremely unprofessional and demeaning as if I couldn’t afford or know enough about the vehicle.
For legal reasons I wont make any claims about this business. If you decide to do business with them, dont be a fool like me. Record ALL conversations with sales reps and anyone you talk to. I would never recommend this business in a million years, they are exactly why people are turning to services like Carvana. Please consider any other options before you purchase a vehicle here.

Purchased my Jeep a few years ago at Marina. But this review is for the service I received last week. Huge shout out to Marisa who was so helpful in every way. She responded to my online message immediately the next day and managed to get my car in that following day as I was concerned about the safety of the vehicle as the transmission was acting up. She excelled at communication, calling me with updates numerous times. Also thanks to the service technicians who did the repairs and waived the diagnostic fee. Turns out it was just the battery!
(Disclaimer: All new cars purchased from Marina have good reviews, and all the negative Ive seen were people that purchased used) I purchased a used car (2010 Nissan Rogue) in June 2017 and have never had more headaches with a car in my life. My first red flag should have been that they were extremely eager to sell me an extended warranty. After 3 refusals, and them continuing to sweeten the deal - I decided to go with it. Thank God I did, the car has been an absolute nightmare. It was in the shop 3 days after I bought it, and the warranty company called to say, was it in this condition when you test drove it?? Their service dept is equally frustrating, even with the majority of repairs covered under warranty, I typically wait until I have more than 1 concern to make a visit and on multiple occasions, they only address 1 concern and completely forget about the other reasons for the visit. I have had the car in their shop over 2 dozen times for legitimate concerns that led to repairs. (Listed: Inner and outer tie rods, both sides. CV shafts, both sides. Botched CV shaft repair which jacked my entire transmission, got a new transmission. Wheel bearings replaced front and back, parts failed 6 months later and had to be replaced again. Multiple sensors, etc.) Moral of this story: Check dealer reviews before making a purchase.
Had a tough time with this purchase. I love my Jeep, but trying to get information regarding all of the issues I had with bank and dmv after the fact wasnt easy.All though my difficulties, finance manager Jay Brown did me a huge favor with the bank and he was absolutely wonderful.

I had the pleasure of working with Lou Nitti for my most recent car purchase. He had just brought in a beautiful Jeep and I instantly knew I needed to have it. However, I was leaving in 3 days for my honeymoon and was worried I wasn’t going to be able to get everything done in time. Lou made the process SO easy for me. My initial phone call into the dealership I spoke with Hannah, she was very friendly, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. She scheduled us an appointment to come in and our experience only got better from there. Our salesman Corey (#caringcarguy) was knowledgeable about all of the cars and really listened to everything we wanted and needed in a car. He was not your typical salesman, he was very personable and not pushy at all. I would recommend Marina Chrysler Dodge Jeep, everyone we spoke with was so accommodating... even the receptionist kept asking us if we needed anything to drink or if the temperature of the show room was okay while we were waiting to finish up the deal. Will definitely be back again for my next vehicle!

Fantastic experience! Went in on a whim, curious to see if the team at Marina could get me out of my vehicle, which I wasnt happy with, plus three years left to go in financing, and into a Jeep at a fair price. Not only did my salesman James Pullara and his manager Edgar do that, they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with what I was doing while at the same time making the experience an unexpectedly enjoyable one for my seven year old Daughter, who I had to drag along with me. Marina has been so good to me over the years. I walked in with my husband and my daughter with the goal of potentially trading in my Jeep Grand Cherokee for a Jeep Wrangler. I recently purchased my 2017 Ram at the end of my lease. The vehicle was inspected but the sticker was not placed on the window. Furthermore they had no record of the inspection.Almost a month after the purchase I received an email from the DMV stating my registration was expired. Marina charged me for the registration but never processed it, nor did they place a temporary sticker on the vehicle. They also charged me for the inspection after telling me that I would have free NYS inspections as long as I own the vehicle.I will never do business with them again!
I normally dont bother with reviews but I know how hard it can be to find an honest dealership who isnt trying to sell you short. I had a great experience with this dealer. FAIR trade in price and beautiful vehicles with a great selection. I was very happy with Charlie, he will be my go to guy from here on out. I have to applaud this company. I purchased a vehicle from them in November, 2018. Came with no warranty because of the mileage but I took a chance based on the saleswoman, a neighbor and friend, as well as the reputation of the company. I began having issues with the back brakes. I called them on friday, today I drive out of there with the problem completely resolved, at no cost to me.I will highly recommend this company to friends and family. As soon as I walked into the showroom I was greeted and a gentleman named Scott, was on a phone call but said he would be able to help me shortly. When he was done with his phone call he introduced himself and his name. I was prepared with what I wanted to look at . The vechiel was at the other showroom down the street. We took it for a test drive and I really liked the car. Scott worked diligently to make sure that I would be able to get the car I wanted. Everything worked out and I got the car I came in for. Scott was great and any questions I had he was able answer. I would recommend for anyone who was looking for a vechiel go to Marina and ask for Scott. I was and still am very pleased with my choice of where to buy my car and request to see Scott as their salesperson.

So I want to start by saying I really usually dislike buying a car. I hate the back and forth and the misleading ads.When I contacted Marina Dodge regarding a Jeep Grand Cherokee, I couldn’t have been luckier to have been put in the hands of Brenden Dell. He is the only person that I’ve talked to in my search that really took the time to understand what I wanted and needed from the car, not just worried about pushing something on me. I was transparent in my needs of the transaction and that I didn’t want to go back and forth a million times. I wanted this to really be honest and easy. Well he said he would, and of course I was skeptical, but I could not have been more pleased with how smooth the process was! He did everything in his power to get me what I wanted and he delivered that and more! He was attentive, friendly and honest through the whole process. I am in love with the vehicle I got, as through my search I was feeling like I was going to have to compromise before we met. Brenden got us into a Jeep that I love and look forward to enjoying with my family!!I also have to mention the Finace Manager, Warren. He was super friendly, thorough and just an all around nice guy!!! I am appreciative of the work he put in to get us in this car and I could not recommend them more!!!!!! Thank you so much!!!
Where to start with my experience at Marina Dodge... Everything started off pretty well - our salesman was brand new (started 4 weeks prior), so he was a little green, but very motivated, friendly, and eager to help. On the first night, I was told by the salesman and the used car manager that the dealership would write me a check to pay off my final two lease payments. We signed a deal that first night (on a handwritten line, no actual contract or agreement) and put a down payment on the car - no major complaints. The next day, I called the used car manager with some questions regarding how much I need to finance (because I wasnt given a purchase agreement), left a voicemail and never got a call back.The next week, apparently the car is ready to be picked up, but I still dont know how much I have to finance. Call the salesman and he tells me he cant tell me a final price until I meet with the finance director. But Im not financing through the dealership... Few text messages later, I finally get a number that included taxes, title, and other fees. Apply for the loan through my bank, bank gets back to me that the purchase agreement the dealership sent over was $2K higher than the number I was told by the salesman. What happened? Someone accidentally added in a warranty that I did not approve or agree to. Get back on the phone with the salesman and says the first number he gave me did not include taxes, title, and other fees. Now thats interesting. Few heated minutes later, all of a sudden theres an error and he realized the warranty was added on. Get that taken off. New purchase agreement is sent to me to review before it goes to the bank. Why is the final vehicle price still $490 higher than the retail price of the car? Because instead of giving me a check for my final two lease payments like I was told and paying off your loan like they advertise, theyre going to roll those last two payments into the financing amount. So theyre not actually doing anything for you and now youre paying interest on those payments. FYI used car manager still hasnt called me back at this point.Now we have to go to the dealership to sit down with the used car manager and the salesman in person and try to get this straightened out. The used car manager is one of the most unprofessional people I have ever worked with. Very rude and seriously lacks customer service skills. Kept aggressively pointing to the paper I signed on the first night and instead of calmly explaining why there was confusion just kept saying but you signed, this is your signature, you signed this. Yeah bud, I know my signature, but the lease payoff was not explained correctly and was purposefully misleading. On top of that, he added, why would we do that referring to paying off my lease. Um maybe because thats what you told me what you were going to do and also what the entire dealership advertises.After feeling so frustrated at this point and almost pulling the deal, I finally go to pick up the car. Im told to be there at 4:30 to meet with the finance director to sign the final papers and after waiting 50 minutes for the guy we finally sit down to sign everything. Wouldnt you think they would have everything printed off and ready to go before you arrive? Apparently, thats not how they do business. Oh, and they only put a half tank of gas in used cars before you go home? Cool.Despite all of the frustration and issues, the salesman has a lot of potential and could really thrive at a different dealership.But never, ever will I refer anyone to do business at Marina Dodge.
Traded in my extremely well used Trailblazer on a 15 Compass. Sale went well, just finished my free oil change and a minor issue. The service was done at the prescribed time and completed in less than 1/2 hour. I also visited the parts department and was very impressed with the knowledge and time they took to answer trivial questions. I am very pleased with the entire experience.
The car buying process is stressful and time consuming by itself. It helps we you have the opportunity to work with great people who are working for you. When I came into Marina I already knew what kind of car I wanted, there were some issues on my part, but they worked around them. They got me in the car that I wanted. I worked withTerry, who was an was an excellent and informative sales person. He listened to me and didn’t try to force me into something I didn’t want. I’m happy with my purchase and I will most certainly go back to Marina to see Terry for my next car.
I didn’t know what to expect when I walked into Marina that day, but I knew who to ask for and what I wanted and in the end I knew I made the right choice. Shane Pitts, the “thumbs up” guy... he really did his magic and got me an awesome ride for a reasonable price. I had a great experience with Marina dealership in Webster. They took my basically worthless Grand Am as a trade in towards a down payment when no one else would.Charlie, the salesman that helped me, was super patient with my numerous questions and was extremely knowledgable. He explained the advantages of the Jeep I ultimately purchased from the initial price, the fact that they hold their value as they age when properly maintained and the saving on my car insurance by purchasing one of the safest cars on the market. He even went as far as to work with me and my mediocre credit to get me a payment I could afford at a fair interest rate. I would send anyone to see Charlie if theyre looking for a car anywhere in the Upstate and Western New York region.
Marina provides the best customer service that Ive experienced at a dealership. Since the day I purchased my vehicle, the customer service has been informative, personable, and timely. The level of service provided at each maintenance appointment continues to exceed my expectations.In addition, Marinas technology in the service department details with accuracy all maintenance to be completed for my vehicle when I check-in. Once checked in, I receive a PDF report via email that further details suggested maintenance to be completed at each mileage checkpoint. After maintenance is completed, I receive the same summary as a print out including the work completed during my appointment. Ive purchased vehicles from Charlie James on two separate occasions. The experience was amazing. Ive been in for service a few times since and its been a great experience. There was a small problem with one of the services done and they made it right quickly and effectively. Charlie and the crew at Marina Dodge are great.
Marina Dodge almost killed my friend. After refusing to service his truck for months, they finally took it in and gave him a rental car with bald tires. Tires that failed inspection. In November. He kept telling me that the car was a death trap until one day (surprise!) he got into a major accident. Now Marina wants to charge him for the repair. Seriously? Theyre supremely lucky that the DA isnt knocking on their door.I know this didnt happen to me personally, but thats kind of the point. My review speaks to their reputation. I wouldnt normally write a review like this, but Im happy to make an exception for gross negligence potentially resulting in death.

His focus on getting me the vehicle I wanted combined with his attention to detail made me extremely comfortable with this car buying experience. He was patient, very kind and knowledgeable about the product and did his best to make sure that I ended up with the vehicle that suited my lifestyle. I arrive today and the lady at the service desk again wasnt pleasant and I felt I was bothering her. Im not sure if she thought I was a regular and knew my way around, I feel everyone should be treated with the up most respect since we chose Marina for a vehicle. I could have stayed with Bob Johnson, great customer service for years. I still absolutely love my vehicle and Shane Pitts was excellent but the service department needs a course or two on customer service.

I found Marina Chrysler Dodge Jeep through CarGurus, the car I was interested in was showing great deal and I did a little bit of research myself and found that to be true. I contacted Scott Tam to inquire about a Jeep, we went back and forth for 2 weeks I believe. He has gone above and beyond, and his fast responses sold me! Thank you very much for my new ride!! We chose a used car and got there to purchase, they were unwilling to come down in price as the car had 3 accidents. Used high pressure sales to get us to buy. Very disappointed in the experience. I realize they have to make money too, but to take advantage and pressure you into buying by holding your deposit and your card. The car was beautiful on the outside, but after 3 accidents. They would not reduce the price, they wanted me to pay the full price no matter what. Had an internet add that said for that car 0 down $222 a month, that was ONLY if you took 8 years to pay off a USED car. Beware of the fine print that was not there in the add!! You have to actually ask the dealer to explain how they come up with that price. That was to get us in the door. :(
Reached out several times for a receipt for the plates they turned in for me so I can give it to my insurance. They turned it in two weeks later and I am being charged for a car I don’t even own anymore in addition to my new car. I was told I couldn’t use my old plates if I wanted the car. I was told the DMV would mail it to me, and now I’m being told the dealership has to mail it to me. Very unprofessional and untimely responsiveness, sometimes no response at all. Still waiting.

2022-01-26We went to Marina Dodge just to look at a Challenger. We reached out to Shane, a salesman from the past, and were greeted with great enthusiasm. We called ahead and he set up a time for us to come down to look at the car. When we went down he had 2 Challenger’s cleaned up and warmed up. We test drove and decided to purchase one. The process with Shane was great and stress free. He listened to what our needs were and followed through. We met Chris (GM) who also was very good to deal with. They took the time to make sure we were satisfied and understood the complete process. We agreed upon a price and closed the deal. Chris then asked how happy we were with our Grand Cherokee which we stated to him we were not. He immediately started looking into options and searching for a new Cherokee for us. To my surprise he put a package together that not only lowered my payments but received cash back. We ended up making a deal on 2 cars which I never in a million years would of imagined. All paperwork went through Cory (finance) which was also a great help and mad us feel comfortable with the 2 deals. Overall our current experience with Marina was great and we had a good group of people taking care of us. Thanks to the help and experience. Andy

My sales person was Nick Inzinna and he made the process so easy, especially since it was my first time ever getting a car from a dealership. He answered all of my questions and even outside of the dealership, he was reachable by e-mail and text which was super helpful. 2022-05-20My boyfriend and I started dealing with Louis in sales on Tuesday of this past week and were interested in a 2017 Ram that was on the website listed for sale was told it couldnt even be test driven because it hadnt been thru service yet.. basically wasnt safe to test drive and couldnt be sold .. lots of back and forth truck would be ready to test drive on Monday get informed today the truck is sold.. not a single apology or what can we do to make this right??!!Instead his salesman told him to bad you didnt put a deposit on it... I bought from West Herr last year. Great experience well be buying from them again next week
