I have had the pleasure of doing business with Todd & his team at Marine Blue for the last 18 years. They have installed and removed my dock & boat hoist each season. They not only install the dock and hoist but proactively assess them for correct installation. If there were any issues, Todd was quick to resolve them. They recently upgraded my boat hoist to solar power, as well as added bunks to the hoist and a ladder to the dock. Marine Blue takes the time to discuss your options and always makes sure that you are happy with the finished project. I highly recommend Marine Blue for all your dock, hoist and waterfront needs.
We highly recommend Marine Blue. We have been using them for our lake services for 12+ years. They are responsive and thorough. And their service team is knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. In essence, Marine Blue does a great job. Easy to deal with and stands by their work. Very happy!!!
I am extremely disappointed with Marine Blues lack of service. My boat/motor sat for almost 3 weeks before I went and took it out of there.They started some work and kept telling me they would send me a quote to authorize the work. I waited and emailed them to start the work and I would still like to receive the quote. No response. I called and emailed more that first week and kept waiting for something, anything. I went to see them the following week to inquire. I was told they are very busy. Thats fine, I understand but I simply need you to communicate back to me. I was told face to face that it might be 2-3 more weeks before they can work on it as I was not a priority. Thats what you tell customers??? You are not a priority? And the owner Todd avoided any contact with me while I was there. He saw me when he entered the office and slipped out another door to avoid me.If you are busy, I understand. Just tell me UPFRONT how long it may take and not because Im not a priority. But I left there asking them to keep me posted. A whole week went by and I heard nothing from them. Todd called me the following Monday and told me what was needed and said they would send me a quote to authorize the work. I called the next day and asked about the quote and they said they were busy. I feel like they were punishing me because I kept checking in with them to acquire what they continually told me they would do. So 2 days shy of having my boat there for 3 weeks, I went and pulled my boat out of there. I had to pay them a lot for what they claimed to have done to date, which wasnt very much. As I was leaving, the owner Todd was outside, He didnt acknowledge me at all.They did not care, did not follow through, did not communicate and told me twice You are not a priorityI was able to get a quote in 5 minutes and an appointment over the phone from another marina the next day.I will make sure that all of the friends and associates I know from 3 different local bass organizations know how Marine Blue treats customers.I would have been a very loyal customer for years to come, had I been treated like a customer.
Worked with the entire sales team - but mostly Ian K. Scott and Lynn Yanish-LaBarron - on the development of the layout, delivery and installation of my Pier Pleasure dock for my home on Green Pond, NJ. A great benefit of the docking system is that its very easy to put in, in the spring, and to take out in the fall. The sections are modular, with interchangeable decking material (we went with cedar, which is great), and its very stable in the water ... with a great many interchangeable and movable pieces of hardware - cleats, lights, canoe/kayak racks, etc. The Marine Blue team was a pleasure to work with ... and Im more than happy with the outcome.
Excellent Customer Service! This was my very first time dealing with Marine Blue and I feel extremely fortunate for having done so. First, the store and sales area are extremely clean and organized. No clutter – everything in its place. That should immediately let you know that they 1) are organized and 2) take pride in what they do – and it shows! The entire staff at the counter were warm, friendly, and best yet, Bills fans – Go Bills. Okay, so I digress. I was able to meet and deal personally with the company president, Todd Herbik. He was very helpful and wanted only to make sure I was completely satisfied in my purchase. (I was buying a used boat lift canopy fame and canopy cover.) He even personally brought out and unrolled the vinyl cover so I could inspect it for any damage – there was none. He even met me outside to inspect the canopy frame and offered me some helpful tips when installing it on my own boat lift. When he asked how best to transport it to my lake site, he and I reviewed some options and settle on the one that best suited my needs. Again, Todd really wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied. Would I go back? Let’s put it this way. My boat is located on the “Always Beautiful” Conesus Lake (go ahead, look it up), I would gladly drive the 25+ miles to Todd’s Marine Blue location for anything marine related, without a doubt. Marine Blue has been giving me hoist moving services for many years. The team follows my detailed instructions and, in the rare event that the hoist needs slight moving, they willingly and quickly realign it. They always make sure that Im completely satisfied. I highly recommend their services.

Bernie(mechanic) and the guys out back were also great and Bernie was always so helpful when i had questions. Beyond their courtesy and professionalism, Marine Blue is willing to help. They had a hard to find hoist transmitter on their storage shelves that was part of a product line they dont even carry. It goes to show that its worth driving over and asking. Even when the item is not on display, their knowledgeable staff likely knows where to find it. Thanks Guys!
We own TowBoatU.S. Rochester and in May of 2020 we were having an issue with our Suzuki outboard on our towboat. I contacted Marine Blue to work on the engine since they are an Authorized Suzuki Outboard Repair Facility. I explained to them what the nature of our business is and that we hoped they could work on our towboat immediately so that we could be back in service to assist our membership base and anyone else whom called for our services. I explained what I believed the problem was and they offered to overnight any parts if needed to rectify the issue ASAP. They were able to fix the problem without needing any parts and we were back up and running in about 30hrs. Oneida Marine Group can’t thank Marine Blue enough for their understanding and professionalism to a fellow maritime business. We highly recommend them to other Suzuki outboard owners in that region and will utilize them again if we have any issues in the future.Thank you again, Marine Blue!!

Marine Blue always comes through for us. I needed them to get our docks installed before May 1 and even with the outage due to the Covid 19 situation, they installed the docks days after they returned to work. We really appreciated it! I have used Marine Blue for four years as my snow removal service for a long, curving, uphill driveway. They have been 100% perfect every time. Theyre out before other services in my neighborhood, they do the job well and never have damaged any property. These guys never have let me down.

Marine blue has been A vendor of mine for at least a decade. They are extremely responsive, have product available, and their staff both in the field and in the show room are communicative, respectful , and provide great service. They are the king of the lake when it comes to anything marine.
TERRIBLE SERVICE!, it took several calls to order one part. The owner then placed me on speaker phone when I called back and stated all the employees were listening after I voiced my concerns about their lack professionalism, and then wanted my credit card info while on speaker phone. They even asked Nate the boat lift repair person in my area to not work on my boat lift, he felt obligated as they give him work. My good friend shared a similar experience with this dealer and said he had trouble ordering a part as well and that they were overpriced. AVOID spending your money here.
I had a complex problem with my stern drive that was identified when my boat was winterized by my home marina in October. Their workload was scheduled such that they could not do the work to refine the analysis of the problem and do the work until well into this years boating season. I brought my boat in March, they analyzed the problem, recommended repairs and an additional part replacement that was due and inexpensive to add on to the current job, but would be quite costly if the unit had to be disassembled separately at another time. A few other minor repairs were done well. The pricing was reasonable and they were quite accessible to discuss the issues with the service provided.When I came to pickup my boat I asked if they could inflate the trailer tires to specs. When I let them know that I had limited experience trailing this boat they backed it into the service bay, inflated the tires, brought it out and helped me hitch the trailer to my car. All of this was done with an attitude of being glad to help and at no extra charge.
This is the best marina in the entire area! We started with buying a complete dock system after extensive research. They have great products and are very professional. These guys know what they are doing and did a terrific install...it was a big leap since we didnt know this group well. It has been a delight! Then we went onto having our boat stored there over the winter...I had the staff do a number of repairs that Ive have not been able to accomplish with other local marinas. Im a detailed kind of person; they greatly exceeded my expectations with their work. Congrats to the entire team!
I walked into the shop with the battery box for my hoist expecting to drop it off and return later. Instead, Todd walked to the back, pulled a new controller off the shelf, installed and tested the unit, and I exited with the repair complete. This was nice because my boat didnt have to be tied to the dock during the repair. Thanks Todd!!!
Thank you Marine Blue! My battery tested weak, post winter storage. Marine Blue provided excellent information and advice. Changing a boat battery every 3 years should be a policy. Using my self appointed PhD in Google Search, battery warranties are short, and given the use and lack of use, should be changed at least every three years! A dead battery is not a nice boating surprise, thereafter carrying and installing a new battery. Thanks Marine Blue! I now have a new personal policy for boat storage maintenance every three years! Excellent service and wisdom now transferred!
These people are the best. I had a major underwater fail on our boat lift some 25 miles from their location. They were out the next day with a scuba diver, all new parts and a friendly, experienced crew. This is the second time I have used them for emergency repairs and they do not disappoint. One of the best service organizations I have ever dealt with.
I knew I was in trouble when Todd handed me the thermostat from my motor and said “You don’t really need this.” I already had paid over $150 for them to diagnose (incorrectly, in the end) the reason my outboard died in the middle of the lake and over $550 to “repair” it. That was after the warning that “I will not be able to get to it for a day or two” ended up being five weeks! Even after the alleged repair, the motor overheated and stalled, resulting in my having to be towed from the middle of the lake on a very windy day ($250). The only bright spot was his saying “We will stand behind our work,” although he wanted to find out if the need for a tow was the result of their work or not. Well, it was. Rather than replacing a part of the water pump, a shop that knew what they were doing found that Marine Blue attempted to glue it back together with epoxy, without telling me that it needed to be replaced. As for “standing behind their work, that’s a joke;” they have refused to even respond to my multiple requests for a solution. Buyer beware (better still, run away)!
When we asked Marine Blue to service our Ranger 621 this winter, the team of professionals got right to work to ensure each and every detail was taken care of. Warranty items were covered and their communication on all aspects of each replacement or repair was explained thourougly. I highly reccomend them for service and sales. My next 621 will be with Ian down at Marine Blue!!
Todd and his crew have handled all of my waterfront requirements for 18 years. They are simply the gold standard of performance. They consistently deliver 1st rate work in a timely matter. In a world that seems to have lost its attention to quality, Im happy to report its alive and well at Marine Blue!
Last year as summer approached, I ordered a hoist from another company. They kept saying “it will be there in time”, as the end of June came around I needed a hoist yesterday! I called around to see what my options were, and one of my local dock guys said “try marine blue in canidaugua”. I never thought they could get/order my hoist in time because it was bigger that what most fingerlakes boats require. Not only was I able to get it from them, THEY HAD IT IN STOCK. Now it was more money, but I am so glade because the Pier Plesure hoist is much heavier duty brand as well as I was able to get a 12volt hoist instead of 110v. The safety of that alone was worth the extra money. They were excellent to deal with and worked with me on my short time frame. They had it ready for pick up in about 3 hours. Once installed there was a wire harness issue that prevented the unit from operating perfect, so their answer to that was to drive 60 miles to bring a new one to my lake house. That is Service!! I will look to them for ALL of my future lake needs.

Gave us undivided attention contacted the people needed to answer all my question and make sure all my questions were answered before we ordered our 2080ms ranger the boat is spectacular warranty on evinrude couldnt ask for better colors perfect anything missed taken care of would recommend this dealer to all. I really have to hand it to this business. I live out of town trying to purchase a pontoonconversion kit for an older hoist we have in the finger lakes. Ian could not have been more accommodating with multiple conversations and questions. They really laid out the options and made it incredibly easy to work with. They really exceeded all expectations and the conversion kit fit perfectly! Highly recommend!
Horrible experience with miserable dude at front desk. You really should get into another line of work. Ian in service tries hard but is brow beat. After spending thousands of dollars last fall on repairs, they didnt have 15 minutes to spend installing 2 caps so I could use my boat over Memorial day weekend. Went down to Seager marine and they promptly did it for me in 5 minutes. Hats off to great service at Seager.

2022-02-02Todd and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. I’ve previously purchased bunk kits for my boat lift from Marine Blue. They knew exactly what I needed based on my lift and boat. They answered all of my questions and gave great guidance on my DIY installation. I recently inquired about power lift options and the experience was the same. I knew immediately that they knew the product inside and out. They answered all of my questions immediately and I received a professional and timely quote. Additionally, the showroom is well organized and welcoming.

Got a very good deal and even though it took a while to get (everything does nowadays), it was worth the wait!!! If youre looking for a pontoon/tritoon boat, Marine Blue and Manitou are the way to go!!!

2020-09-29My wife is a birder and is super interested in providing great housing for the purple martins that roost in our area over the summer. The birds arrive early in the spring, and this year there was still freezing weather when the first scouts arrived. I sent a message to Blue Marine asking that they put in our docks as soon as possible so that the birds would have adequate housing and not freeze to death after their long migration from South America. Blue Marine responded within a day, braving the cold water to place our docks and install the dock-mounted pole. As a result we were able to save quite a few birds and my wife was very happy. 2022-05-04I took my boat to marine blue to find out what is wrong with the engine he charged me 500$ and Ted gave me an invoice of 4990 to fix the engine I called my old mechanic from Long Island showed him the invoice my bill for the same repair in Long Island is 1200 in parts 600$ Labor total $1800 Ted and his crew tried to charge me 3 times more of what it should cost.Also he said to change the lights on my trailer he need a crew of 5 guys to do itMy old mechanic said if the starter isn’t working why did Ted crew didn’t try to change the starter firstWhen I came to pick up the boat marine blue gave me the engine in parts didn’t want to put it the way it was

2020-10-13I went in to meet Todd with an idea of what I wanted in upgrading a boat lift for a new boat. He spent a great deal of time explaining all of their products. After we talked about them all, I landed on the one lift I didnt think I wanted, but is clearly the best choice. After delivery and setup, it is very obvious its exactly what I needed. Todd and his staff were great during and after our sale, arranging delivery, and reaching out to ensure everything operated as expected. Cant recommend them enough if youre in the market for a new boat lift.

I bought a used pontoon boat from them, they fully tested It in their shop, determined it needed new batteries, so they put them in, along with gas.They met me at the public launch site where we did a test run, explaining all of the boats features to me.This is a family business so they all care about making you happy.

2021-11-11Todd and his team were awesome on Tuesday! As I stood helpless at the end of my submerged dock holding onto my boat that drifted out of the hoist due to the high waters of Canandaidua Lake, battery dead, they arrived to save me and my boat from damage. They manually lowered the electric hoist that was dead, jump started the boat with a battery pack and got me on my way. When I returned home, they had already begun to put things away for the winter. Believe me this day WAS NOT planned . . . 42, raining and windy, they came when called! My family has been using Marine Blue since they first started in business many years ago, we have no intention on leaving, ever!
