I love Dr. Mariwalla! I’ve been coming to her for years now to deal with the damage I did to my skin as an avid sunbather in my youth. She’s always thorough in her exam and has performed multiple Moh’s procedures on me with great results. I’ve also brought my kids here for the occasional visit and have been equally pleased with the physician assistants in the office which is very clean and technologically advanced.
I had a scare that ended up being nothing. The staff were extremely accommodating and worked quickly to assess and provide options to me for a lightning fast resolution. I cannot stress how amazing and wonderfully supportive the staff are at this practice. I highly recommend them.
I have always seen Dr. Mariwalla. Today, I saw PA Samantha, which I was leary, just because Ive always seen Dr. M, but to my surprise she was very thorough and very pleasant. She examined, explained, diagnosed and treated my issue quickly. I was in and out in 30 min. Also, asked me to come back for post visit to check on this issue. So far, I am very happy with whomever Ive seen at this practice.
Dr. Mariwalla is an amazing Dermatologist. She’s also the kindest and most caring Dr. I interact with. She has earned my trust by helping me with a horrible burn and I am grateful for her service.

As a 65 year old who spent a lot of time shirtless at the beach years ago, I was concerned about several ‘spots’ on my body. 2 on my arm and one on my back. Samantha Nocolini froze the areas and told me to come back in 6 weeks. 6 weeks later…here I am, the spots are virtually gone!! Hooray!Early detection can save your life. It’s nonsense to not have those ‘troubled’ areas checked!!

Office well organized. Process after information is given, reviewed to see Dr. 15-20 minutes. Dr. Mariwalla after set of history questions was quick to address my problem. After removing Dr gave opinion and will have biopsy report to review. Professional and great bedside manner. All you can ask in these trying times with medical matters.

Dr.Mariwalla was thorough and very nice. We felt very comfortable my daughter (17) & I. We filled our paperwork ahead of time as asked it was so easy and our check in was a breeze. We waited not more than 10 minutes. Staff friendly. We will definitely go back💕🌼
Very nice and knew what exactly was wrong as I was at a different dermatologist location yesterday and got diagnosed with something I do not have she gave me the correct medication. I highly recommend her and that office not a long wait at all in the waiting area and even in the room itself

Dr Marawalla makes you comfortable and welcome. Not like a number. The office is very clean and managed very well. I’ve moved and drive 25 minutes to see her not willing to settle for less than the best. You can see that she is at the top of her field and newest procedures and cutting edge technology.
When I went to my appointment, everything went smoothly and pretty quickly. I was able to fill out new patient paperwork beforehand to expedite the process. The office was very clean and everyone was friendly. I waited a bit long in the actual office waiting for the doctor but the PA who took care of me was extremely nice and knowledgeable. She was friendly and took care of the two issues that I had. I would definitely recommend.
First time at Mariwalla Dermatology and it was fantastic. Office is beautiful and very clean , chairs are set up to social distance. The girls are very efficient and I love the way they handle things at the front. Everyone was very nice and I’m looking forward to continuing my care here.

Large office , with a very large polite staff. My wait was under 1 hour. The PA took her time with me and was concerned, and listened to what I had to say.I had been to a different dermo who had no office manners and had no concern for me or my questions.I highly recommend Dr. Mariwalla also first time and only waited 2 weeks before my first appt. others were 2 months.GODS BLESSING to this Dr. and staff.
I received such excellent care from the PA, Samantha, who is so professional yet so attentive and caring. Overall the staff are very friendly and I was able to make another appointment before leaving. I highly recommend this group and I was referred by a friend. First off, I love the messaging feature on the Mariwalla Dermatology website. It is super convenient! I was able to fill out all of my “paperwork” ahead of time online. Wait time was about 20 minutes, which is not too bad. Dr. Mariwalla was very personable and I felt she really cared about my issues. She had a plan of treatment right away. The only negative I could think of is she talked quickly. Lol, be alert!! The staff wrote down the names of the medications and what time of day to take them/use them. So that helped. I was able to send my follow up questions throw the messenger. I will be returning to this office.
The doctors and staff at Mariwalla are knowledgeable, caring, and courteous. The office is modern and comfortable. And my exam was conducted right on time. Highly recommend.
Dr Samantha Nicolini is outstanding. She has a great way of explaining what is needed and even though the freezing of the areas in question are painful. She takes the time to make sure you are ok. Honestly the nicest Dr I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with.
Dr. Kavita Mariwalla was very accommodating, sincere, and trustworthy. She truly will give you options to get the best affordable outcome and not push you to all these expensive services or products that most doctors tend to do. I was ready to purchase treatments, but she convinced me to follow a skincare regimen for one month which included products I already own! She asks what products you use and recommends incorporating ones that she believes will help you.I came off the recommendation of my best friend and I’m highly recommending Dr. Mariwalla to anyone searching for a great dermatologist who listens and stands by what she recommends while watching out for your pocket. My husband was treated today by Samantha PA. We felt that was one of the best visits for dermatologist. She diagnosed him immediately. And they took him in right away. We were very pleased with the office staff. Also with the information we had received today. The staff and the doctor treat you with respect. Very caring and considerate. I will be going there soon this month also . Very happy with the service there.
I’ve been a patient for many years and can’t recommend Dr. Mariwalla enough. She always takes her time with me and is very thorough. Today, she took the time to discuss a medical issue I had concerns about that had nothing to do with her! She is the best!
Dr Mararawalla is very professional however her office manager is not helpful at all and very rude. No one answers the phone. If you need anything from them it’s sad to say your not in luck. Don’t bother going in person like I did. You will get no help.
Dr Mariwalla treats my wife and I with the utmost care and kindness. I never knew that dermatology care could be so thorough. I had a skin cracking condition that no other dermatologist could figure out. On my first appointment, she prescribed a topical medication that stopped it in its tracks.She does thorough body scans. Basically, she truly cares for every patient that she sees. I consider myself blessed to be under her care.

I used to absolutely love this place. I was a longtime patient. Dr. Mariwalla was and probably still is really amazing, and she really knows her stuff. But I just cant go here anymore. I tried to make a consult only for them to ignore my concern and go straight to not covered by insurance. I mean I get it, but the way they went about it was extremely off-putting, especially for someone who has been there many times. Not only does it take at least a month to even see just the PA on staff, but then they dont call you to confirm and then make you wait ANOTHER month when you miss the appointment. I just hung up at that point. As someone who has worked in health care offices, I know that this is not how you conduct business. Its just plain rude. Staff needs to be better.Time to find a new office.
This was my first time to the office. I was taken in for my appointment on time .The staff was friendly and well organized. The waiting room was clean and spacious . I felt very safe being in that office considering the coronavirus. The doctor came in and was very organized and friendly made me feel at ease I went in for a skin check and I came out feeling very satisfied and I definitely would recommend this place to my friends and family.

Dr Mariwalla and her staff are wonderful! I have gone to several dermatologists over the years, and there is only one other (retired) who was comparable to Dr Mariwalla. She is an exceptional doctor as well as being very caring and kind. You would think that you would have to wait for hours, but I have never had to wait long to be seen. She doesnt rush, listens to what you say, and answers all questions so that you understand everything. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
My first time there and absolutely loved Dr Mariwalla, She gave me everything I needed to clear up some spots on my face and was able to fit me in for a much needed special facial, the tech was great and explained what I was getting done step by step. When She was done I could not believe the difference.The only thing I would say is that her staff needs a little guidance on friendliness as well as attentiveness.. other than that great experience.
Dr. Mariwalla is absolutely wonderful! She makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed. You tend to have a wait to get an appointment and they are generally not on time with their appointments, but its still worth it!

Very efficient friendly practice. They were able to take me in on very short notice for a skin growth that suddenly started bleeding. Short wait time in waiting room which has plenty of seating. Dr. Mariwalla has such an excellent disposition, explains everything and also took the time to look at my back when I requested it. I highly recommend this practice as this was my third visit over the past 2 years and it has never disappointed!

Fancy office with doctors who don’t know or care. I went to this office because I thought I had a infected ingrown hair they never ran any test, all they did was give me cortisone shot a lotion and a acne wash that did absolutely nothing .then I was referred to a plastic surgeon by this office because they said there wasn’t anything else they could do , I decided to get a second opinion which I did and I’m so glad I did. I went to Port Jefferson Dermatology in Babylon and they ran test to rule out it wasn’t something else they were baffle that this place did not run any test just to rule out other possibilities. I was diagnosed with Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) and I was able to have this painful sore healed. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I will say that the girls up front are very nice.
Excellent real time appointment, few minutes as expected for new patient paperwork, saw doctor within 5 minutes of being placed in exam room. All staff cordial, polite and professional. Doctor introduced herself, listened and responded with care. Amazing , perhaps they can give lessons to all other practitioners who have forgotten how to treat people. Well done!
So at first, as a new patient, I stewed a bit as my first impression was one of a 90 minute delay in seeing dr Mariwalla.But I must say, after my first interaction with her, I found the experience to be the most patient, and thorough head-to-toe check up I think I’ve ever had with any dermatologist. I found her personality to be warm, and inviting of any concern or questions I may have had for her.I will definitely be back for follow up appointments and I highly recommend her.

Let me start by saying my appt was for 345 and the girls at the front desk greeted me very respectfully. I was called into the back in three minutes and the procedure was done by 355 .I was very impressed by the work of the doctor and staff. She said I would feel a pinch and I swear that’s all I felt. I will be going back for a whole baby scam in which I have my wife wanting to do it as well. My wife also wants to do some Botox also. Can’t wait to go back for our appointments. My wife and I worked at ground zero for months during 9/11 and would like to get checked out to be on the safe side. See you soon at Mariwalla dermatology.

Ive been taking my 2 children to Dr. Mariwalla for over 5 years now. I have also seen her for myself. Both of my children have skin issues and she is great. Her demeanor with the children is amazing! She has always treated on the side of caution, not wanting to overmedicate with heavy cream/ and prescriptions, etc.The office staff are courteous. The typical wait time is 15 minutes.
Dr Mariwalla is such a great dermatologist, and what a sweet person. Doc found a melanoma on my back that I had no idea about, caught it early took it out hardly a scar! I recommend her to everyone, many of my friends and family use her as well. Clean modern office, friendly staff and late hours for working folks.
The office was busy, but as soon as I saw Dr. Mariwalla I realized it was worth the wait. I have seen many dermatologists and she is the only one who was able to effectively treat my eczema. She is up to date on the latest treatments and it seems many doctors refer to her because she has great success with tough cases. This was my second visit to Mariwalla Dermatology.I actually selected this practice, primarily, because this doctors mom was my childrens pediatrician! Secondly I chose this practice because, although I LOVE my previous dermatologist, I just can never get a timely appointment. They are booked into December at this point. Who can wait that long????On both occasions, when attempting to make an appointment, I was given a slot in the same week that I called.....in this case-the very next day!!!!I am very pleased with Dr Mariwallas practice and would highly recommend them.
My son had gone to another dermatologist and treated with PA Kaleigh Marino who had cleared up his acne. After she left it took awhile but we found her and so happy because while not being under her care his skin got very bad again. We are so grateful to have been able to find her.
Got my first out of 3 chemical peels and my skin already looks amazing! The difference is there. My acne has cleared up so much and the skin underneath is so smooth and clear! Cannot wait to get my next one.

I would like to thank Dr.Mariwalla for taking me as a patient. My last doctor made my face worst and I was very leery of going thru that again but I heard so many great things about Dr. Mariwalla so I checked up on her and got nothing but great reviews and she makes you feel like you are in great hands. She is now the doctor for my family and any relatives that would need her services. I dont recommend anyone unless Im certain that they will do a great job so if anyone is in need of Dermatology you cannot find anyone better, you can only get someone not as good or someone who will make it worst.

Whether we see Dr Mariwalla or one of her PAs we are always happy. They listen to all of your concerns and always go out of their way to make a personal connection. The office is well run and they have a variety of office hours. My daughter has an autoimmune disease and they are treating her for one of the side effects from the medication she is on. They were knowledgeable about the disease and had real answers in how to treat her. Which had not been our experience elsewhere. They also communicate through texting which is super convenient. No complaints!

Mariwalla has been amazing for our entire family! Our teenager’s acne issues, our 10 year old’s eczema, and my husband & I both have had suspicious spots & bumps checked out. I took my father for an appointment and waited about 50 minutes (usual wait time every time). When we were finally seen, she rushed through the 3 minutes of time she gave us and didnt let me explain that the course of treatment was no longer working. There are other PAs and Doctors there that are helpful but my experience with Dr. Mariwalla was definitely a 1.
Love Dr Mariwalla; however office staff should try to do better with scheduling. Had to wait over an hour past my scheduled appointment on two separate occasions. I noticed many other patients in waiting room were also waiting long time.
Wonderful doctor and staff. I was worried about something new on my skin and they got me right in even though they are very busy, and I felt immediately reassured. They communicate over the phone of course but also with an IM service which means you can get an answer very quickly.

All the dermatologists Ive seen here have been very helpful. My appointments are quick, not much waiting time. Everyone in the office is very nice. If I have any questions or concerns the doctor will take the time to go over all of them. Even though the appointments are fast, you are not rushed in and out. They take their time with you so that when you leave your questions are answered and youre satisfied with you visit. I recommend them to anyone I know who needs to see a dermatologists

Friendly staff, Dr. Mariwalla as well as the PA’s are awesome and knowledgable. Have been there three times so far and have not had a bad experience yet. I’m in and out quickly. The most i’ve waited has been maybe 20 minutes? And that was me being late lol.Trying to call them is a pain though, it seems like I can never get through. It’s a popular office though, so it makes sense. They’re also very accommodating and they Klara (a mobile chat service) that’s really efficient as kind of a replacement for the phone.

I HIGHLY recommend mariwalla dermatology. At this point I think everyone in my family has seen the folks at MD. Weve all come away feeling very good about the interactions. Weve been there for skin rashes, posion ivy, cancer screenigs, mole removals, you name it. My son was recently diagnosed with male pattern baldness. He went to MD for a second opinion. They did a biopsy of his scalp (not done by the prior Dr.) and said, nope. Thats not what this is. Gave him treatment direction for his condition and he was really relieved. Go see them.

I really dont know where to begin, I have so much to say regarding my experiences, my name is Debbie and my daughter is a physician assistant for about 13 years, a very good one at that.I always have my daughter to run things by, thats very helpful and reassuring to me. I must say there are a lot of Drs. Out there having medical issues and trying to find the best dr. To help you can be very frustrating, when DR. K. Mariwalla opened I heard only amazing things about her, I use to be in the medical field so it takes a bit to impress me.Dr. mariwalla really really cares more importantly shes the best in her field,I have alot of medical issues and DR. Mariwalla has caught things on my skin that still I wasnt even aware of yet.if your looking for a top doctor in dermatology look no furthur,truly dr m. Is the best her skills and knowledge could seriously save your life.her bedside manner is amazing and shes very humbled. Dr. Mariwalla was awesome! She is professional, efficient and does not try to sell cosmetic procedures, which is why I left another dermatologists office.
My son has a recurring rash. We have visited three doctors prior for the condition. They each were only interested in treating the condition. Mariwalla Dermatology has taken his treatment to the next level.As a new patient, I was impressed by the office staff also. They have an office system in place that is so efficient, it felt like it took only 3 minutes to complete the paperwork and answer their questions
Quick process when you sign in. Was in on time and out very fast. All the ladies working there were very friendly and make you feel quite comfortable. Highly recommend this practice!
I’ve had surgery there to remove skin cancer and they did a great job. They even fixed a scar from a previous surgery that was done by a plastic surgeon. Looks better than ever! Today I took my teenagers there and they were wonderful. Highly recommend them
Secured an appointment a day after I called. In and out, issue eradicated. Treated by Dr. Sean and Dr. Mariwalla, both easy to chat with and both adroit in their task. Thank you both.
The secretary staff is VERY rude and unprofessional. Very difficult to get in touch with and then make it out to be your fault. They implemented a “texting” service for quicker response, but they still don’t respond. Office is very clean which led me to a two star instead of 1. The dermatologist is good- right to the point. However you will deal with the front desk much more than the dermatologist. I would suggesting finding a different dermatologist office. No one likes a rude staff.
I have always been happy with my experience at Dr Mariwalla Dermatoligy. Appointments are always on time. Staff are all professional. Dr Mariwalla is a good mohls surgeon. Follow ups are always done and any questions or problems are always addressed quickly.

My overall visit with entire staff, I was at ease. Kaleigh Marino the dermatologist, was very thorough with her examination. Easing goin as well. Her assistant was nice and asked questions. I recommend with 10 score!

Best Drs office ever!Ive always had a lot of spots and beauty marks but I recently became concerned after noticing several had changed shape and color. I read those changes were two major signs of skin cancer.So, with the recomendation and high praise from my friend and collegue that Mariwalla is the best, I called the office to make an appointment. The girl on the phone was very nice, which I was consistent off the entire office stagf from beginning to end.The office is clean and comfortable and I did not have to wait very long at all before I was brought in to see Dr. Mariwalla. As my friend said, Mariwalla was the best! She explained what she was looking at and why, as she examined my spots. She expressed that changes shaoe, size, or color, are things to watch for but she was only concerned with a few of the many moles she found. Not overly concerned but enough to send it for further examination. I, of course became nervous the Dr. needed to shave them but she was so gentle, quick, and precise it wasnt bad at all.Nonetheless, being the neurotic mess my mother raised, I right away obsessed and worried Id be diagnosed with cancer...thank goodness I did not have to wait long for my results. Only 3 days from my visit to hear my results came back just fine.I am scheduled to follow up in a few months so they can monitor what they mapped and I have to say, Im not dredding my visit at all! For your peace of mind, or for your follow up care, do yourself a favor and make Mariwalla Dermatology your Dermatology practice of choice...They are the best!

Refused to serve after insurance company refused to pay past owed debts even though we had no control over that. Incompetent manager could not tell a 14 year old from a 40 year old man with a beard.

The wait times are just too long for the impersonal factory methodology of the establishment. I dont mind waiting if I get a personal touch or individualized attention. But when shepherd though multiple digital/procedural systems it should remove the need to have multiple wait points throughout the process. It is just too much waiting to care ratio

Horrible service. I’ve tried to call for two hours with only automatic message that disconnects no matter what number you choose. I had to drive to the office and still they did not acknowledge the problem or fix it. Obviously it’s done intentionally with no thought to their patients needs.

Not pleased. I have been a patient and go every once in a while, Im very prone to poison ivy. Today i went on my lunch break cause I have some sort of outbreak on my face. they told me it was an allergic reaction. was rushed out of the office. I have a high copay for specialists and all they did was tell me something that i already know. She didnt ask me what face creams ive been using, only asked me if i was burning poison ivy after telling me it wasnt that. I spent $50 and walked out confused. and in fact when i asked a question she smirked and corrected my pronunciation. Needless to say I left upset enough to write this review. and
Dr. Mariwalla is the best. I had spend many years at Advanced Dermatology and they accomplished nothing. Dr. Mariwalla did make a great difference and helped me alot.
They took good care of me. I had an implanted pimple I needed to get removed. They removed it in minutes and it was painless.
First time patient, the staff was friendly , organized and answered all your questions. Book an early appointment after 12pm they were busy.
DO NOT BUY HER PRODUCTS!!! SHE DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEM - She sold my daughter a face cream that made her face breakout - we went to return the cream ($89) and was told ALL SALES FINAL - SEE OUR SIGN IN THE WINDOW!!! Reduced my daughter to tears because she was bullied by the office manager. Seriously!!!! If you sell your own products and believe in them, then STAND BEHIND THEM!!!! Not to mention that she saw my daughter for less than 3 minutes and did not even address any of her concerns! NEVER AGAIN!
I was diagnosed with something called hyperhydrosis a few years ago. At first I was going to Dr.Mariwallas mother (my pediatrician) & she prescribed me this pill that would help with the sweating & told me I should set up an appointment with her daughter. So I was taking these pills but they werent specifically for someone with hyperhydrosis. The side effects were bad. I had to take 2-3 pills for them to work. It would dry me out so bad my mouth would be so dry that when I would try & eat food I wouldnt be able to swallow it because my mouth was so dry & I would get really bad headaches. So finally I went to go see Dr.Mariwalla. I told her what was going on & the first thing she said was I had to stop taking the pills that she was not comfortable with me taking them & long time use of them is not good. So we tried a bunch of different things. Creams, deodorants, this electric current to go through my hands, Botox in my under arms & Botox in my hands & nothing seemed to work. I stopped going to her for awhile, & my hyperhydrosis only seems to get worse. I called to schedule an appointment & had to wait 3 months for this appointment. I get into the room the girl asks me what Im there for & I tell her. Than doctor Mariwalla & 2 other people come into the room. I tell the doctor whats going on & she says okay prescribe her this pill. So I ask her what is it for? What is it going to do? She said itll dry you out. Theres no other option for you. & that was it. So I waited 3 months for an appointment to be told theres nothing she can do & to just prescribe me a pill. Come to find out the pill that she prescribed me was the pill that I was taking that her mother prescribed me & told me she didnt feel comfortable with me taking & that long use side effects of this pill are not good. Will never come here again.

They seem to not keep track of what prescriptions they give out, because every time I go they ask ME what was prescribed last time. I left a message TWICE because I had an important question about a prescription and they never got back to me. So I called after a week of leaving messages, demanding to speak to somebody, and they had the biggest attitude. Thumbs down.

We both have had a few things removed thank goodness the results have been always good. She always takes the time to chat with us. And my daughter is always catching her up on her fashion career. She is a very warm and caring person. 💜

2022-04-28Dr. Mariwalla has been my dermatologist for over 10yrs. I was seeing her in Brightwaters before she moved to West Islip. She is very thorough, extremely knowledgeable and has always been kind and compassionate. She has treated me for Uticaria as well as surgical wound care. She is currently helping treat me for male pattern baldness and seems quite optimistic about my hair restoration. When it comes to my skin and hair I look no further than Dr. Mariwalla. I would recommend her professionalism to anyone looking for positive results. Thank you Dr. Mariwalla for always treating me so well.
