Marks Pizzeria in other cities:
Used to love to order salads from here. Used to be big with a hardy helping. Now they are much smaller with a larger price tag. I ordered 2 salads within the last week and both times the container I received wasn’t even halfway full with salad. And they only give you 1 garlic knot. I thought about complaining but I’m the type of person that believes complaining only leads to spit in your food next time. Last night I ordered a salad from Marks in Hamlin. The container was bursting from the seams with salad and you get 2 garlic knots for the same price! Sorry, I’ll be ordering my salad from Hamlin from now on and picking it up on the way to work. Albion Marks is nothing more than a bunch of crooks.
Love ❤ love this place ❤!!!! Sometimes we get a not to bad order but most of the time our order is off the chains and it should be as you paaayyyy so much for it anyway. The prices just went up like $4 more, its crazy we living in this pandemic and now they increasing prices of stuff.
It isnt the best pizza place in town. That easily belongs to Uncle Sals. I find the pizza sauce to be a bit too sweet for my taste. The prices are often ridiculous and dont really support the quality of food delivered. Ive had a few times when delivery has been late in good weather. The food is okay but nothing too special. This isnt the place for you if you havent got much money and want a quick meal.
Completely crap. food is terrible. employees are rude and careless. the place is run down. ant infested. theres mice, if cheese was found with teeth marks, the employee would be instructed to cut out that part of the cheese and continue to use it. the prices are crap for the quality of the food. Chicken wings are completely disgusting.if a wing was dropped, the employee is told to put it back in the fryer for a few seconds to cook off whatever it had on it from the floor. the stench of the raw wings is horrible. they use wings that are no good, then cook them for orders. If you ask about the delivery charge, they explain that its for the drivers... but it goes straight to the company. the only thing a driver sees out of any delivery is the tips, and even then, the company taxes the driver for them. how fair is that? It costs the company about a dollar to make a large pizza, but they charge 20+ dollars and rising as time goes on. I highly recommend anybody reading this to think twice about giving them your business, spread it around because these people are not what they set themselves out to be. If you do not believe it, its fine. I know from first hand experience. I worked there for almost a year before they screwed me over and fired me. my paychecks were taxed double, for normal taxes, and they tax employees to keep money for themselves. The managers do not care about anything and push others to their limit. Ive seen it happen. all in all, this place is a horrible business in albion.
I called to place an order today 10/15/20 at approximately 1:20 pm who ever i spoke to on the phone was very rude. I ended up hanging up. I understand busy days are stressful but its not okay to speak to someone you dont even know that way, especially working in customer service. Which I have worked in for 10 yrs. I had to change my 5 stars to one star because of this incident.
So I ordered food for my daughter and my self today, she got wings and she said was over cooked and it came with only 2 celery sticks, ok .... so I ordered a philly sub, the first bite cut my mouth to the point that I tasted blood. It was so hard and no taste other than stall hard bread. So I called and they said they can replace it. I didnt want a replacement because my mouth was so sore and still tasting blood so I didnt want to bite into another hard sub. So instead of giving me a refund I guess Im only getting 20% off my next order! What?!!! My mouth is bleeding and I only get a 20% off my next order? I asked if I can get something else and Im assuming it was the manager said it depends on what it is . Ok I get that, but was already aggravated that my mouth is bleeding and sore and only offer 20% off after I have had nothing to eat at all today and not sure what i could get that wont hurt my mouth even worse, I didnt get anything. So I wasted money and dont get to eat. So I am very disappointed in how they treat there customers. I work at a food place and we would never treat a customer like this! And on top of that the lady seemed agitated that she has ro deal with this at all. Bottom line they dont care about their customers or their food quality. Its very sad.
Ordered online tonight, at 4:30 received the email that the order was out for delivery. At 5:15 called to see where the food was, was told driver left 15 min ago with another delivery. Also that they have no control over when the emails for online order updates go out. How is the possible? At this point I asked what can be done, I was told “I am not doing anything for you because you have a rotten attitude “ I would say waiting 45 min before calling for an update is not having a rotten attitude. I happen to have a gift card to marks that’s is the only reason I will ever order from this pizzeria again. Hope that manager is happy with loosing a 10+ year customer. Would really like to talk to the owner if he/she will willing to discuss this issue.
If you need the lowest quality pizzeria food ASAP, OK, you might get some Marks. If you need anything actually resembling legitimate New York Pizza, avoid this local chain of pizzerias at all costs!I am a proud Western New Yorker and I am a pizza-holic. This place is at the bottom of my list, along with many national franchises. Franchise pizza is all about one thing: profits. Sure, all pizzerias want money in exchange for the pizza, but some pizzerias actually take pride in quality of the ingredients and the recipes. Marks pizza, subs, chicken and appetizers seem to be made from the crappiest flour(s), breading, and oils.Marks Pizzeria is on my all-time list of pizzerias to avoid at any cost!

2022-07-03Good pizza, I always order light sauce as im not a big sauce fan. Its awesome how they work with the school kids and give away pizzas coupons for hitting reading goals. Our kids enjoy it and it rewards there hard work!

2022-01-26The manager, Jason wheeler, is extremely unprofessional and rude. He goes out of his way to belittle and demean his employees and uses profane language when addressing them. He creates a hostel work environment and uses terror tactics to control his staff, to the point its disruptive to services and delivery. The toxic environment He personally creates is not acceptable nor productive for a team leader. It makes the Marks experience a total flop. Such a disappointment. , for an otherwise decent establishment.

2021-03-08Marks is always my to go to when we are hungry and need pizza FAST! Though there is a female employee who I get regularly who isnt very friendly and doesnt show interest or patience over the phone and makes me feel like I dont want to order again from this Albion Marks pizza. On the other hand when I get the employees that are sweet and want to serve you, it makes me reconsider and because of those excellent employees is why we keep ordering. Congrats on your wonderful staff but I ask that you check the others who demonstrate the contrary.

2021-04-27My partner and I decided to give Mark’s a go after numerous failed attempts at another local pizza place. Mark’s is fast, consistent, and I have had zero issues ordering via website or phone. The price point is slightly higher than average, but I’m willing to pay to avoid the “other” place. We’ve tried a huge variety of options, and the only critique I can have is that the food could use some excess oil blotting (sorry guys)—but you don’t exactly order a pizza for weight watching. The bomber subs are killer and I highly recommend the garlic parm wings!

2021-07-22Almost 30.00 for 2 orders of wings!!! My menu says they are 11.49 per...the menu in the store said 10.99..so I asked how they could be almost 30.00? I was told all that must be an old menu.. I said I just took it from the side of your cash register.. It says 1099 per order!! He says to me, well here on the cash register it says 1299 per order plus tax. So needless to say I will never order from these folks again!! How can you charge one price when another price is published? And then say oh dont worry theyre only gonna get more expensive! So needless to say I will never order from these folks again!! How can you charge one price when another price is published? Really?! My bad...never again!!

2020-11-01This place is so sub-par and overpriced for the quality. Had a large group gathering and was giving them the benefit of doubt since hadn’t ordered from here for the previous stated reasons and gave them another try. Same ole results. It’s my own fault, should have know better. Be sure to consider the much better options Albion has to offer like Avanti’s for a real pizza or Crosbys’s in Child’s. Yes, even the gas station pizza kicks this place to the curb! Again, it’s my own fault but don’t you fall for it too! That $12 large pizza from the gas station 10 x’s better than the $30 medium from Marks. However, if you enjoy a cardboard crust, Marks is still your go-to, enjoy!
