We had our front and back doors replaced. There doors are of high quality. The installation was great. What a difference in heating and cooling.
After 5 other quotes I had Marshall Exteriors visit me. I sure was sorry I didnt go through them first. They had exactly what we were looking for and they were a company I could trust. Dennis was respectful throughout our 1st visit and the entire build of my deck and sunroom. While the crew built my deck and sunroom the whole team was wonderful. It was refreshing to work with a construction company that showed me and my home such great respect. The craftsmanship is outstanding as well! The process from start to finish was easy. Our experience with Marshall Exteriors has been first rate. We had a complete tear off of the roof and replacement with a metal roof, replacement of windows with glass blocks in the basement, and we had them build a large deck on the rear of the house. The three jobs, and their respective crews, were thoroughly professional, personable, and showed real craft. Our initial sales encounter with the owner, Adam, was detailed and very clear, with a straightforward contract that laid everything out so there were no surprises with the tasks or the payment schedule. Working with the Becky on scheduling was easy and always informative. The attention to details, for the roof, basement windows, and the deck, was impressive. Everyone we have met has been super personable. Price? You get what you pay for. Marshall takes no short cuts. Thanks to Marshall for great work!
A friend referred Marshall Exteriors after he used the company. We called and scheduled an estimate and someone was out to see us in just a few days. We had to push the roof out until after our vacation and we asked them to contact us on a specific date. Rebecca called us when we asked her to and the roof was scheduled.As we sat and watched the crew worked hard, very hard. The crew was thoughtful in completing the new roof project in a deliberate process. They worked on the roof in sections and to protect our home during a rainy season the crew made sure to protect the roof before they left for the evening.The roof is no longer leaking and after watching them methodically install the components we believe that we will not have any roof troubles for as long as we own the house.We highly recommend Marshall Exteriors to anyone who is looking for a contractor.

Adam came out with a drone to find a leak in my roof. He found it in a matter of minutes and had a fair price and quickly got me on the schedule.
Marshall Exteriors built a beautiful sunroom addition our home. From start to finish, they were professional and true to their word. The communication was excellent every step of the way. The construction crew worked diligently, cleaned up and did a quality job, treating our new addition as if it was their own. We would highly recommend considering Marshall Exteriors if you are dreaming of adding a sunroom.
Our gutters were so woefully neglected that trees were growing in them. My husband finally admitted he is neither young enough nor sorry enough to tackle them himself and contacted Marshall Exteriors. Shawn arrived early this morning and, in just over two hours, cleared all of the gutters on our nearly 200 year old house. He left the yard tidy and, when the storms rolled in this afternoon, our gutters worked as they havent in a very long time.

My overall experience with Marshall Exteriors was pretty good. The metal roof I had done on my barn roof looks great. The salesman, Dennis, was very professional and polite.I did have a few issues during the process of it being installed. These issues were expressed and then resolved quite quickly. The owner himself, Adam, came out to my house on a Saturday and talked with me face-to-face. He even offered more to be done to fix my displeasure than I thought was necessary.It is nice to see an owner of a larger company still care and put in the effort to resolve any issues.I cant say that I would use them again, but I would not sway someone else from using them. The quality of work and the finished project certainly are something to be happy about.
While doing our research for new windows, and our project we concluded Marshalls was the most expensive, however we heard really good feedback. We wanted a company that was local. One item that really stuck out for this company, compared with others, was that you did not have to make any payments until the job was complete. My husband and I praised the company for this while signing our contract. When signing the contract, my husband and I read every word. Make sure you do this, we found a few errors that were key to our project and was key to our agreement on the price. After months of waiting for any word, we received less than 48 hours notice for our installation of our windows. My husband and I had to rearrange our work schedules to accommodate this. When our windows were placed, my husband and I noticed an error in the wrong type of window installed. Due to this, there was a month delay in completion of our project. During this time, Marshalls harassed us for a full payment. When we noted our contract said when the job was 100% complete, they continued to harass us. We received multiple emails, phone calls, and even had Marshal Exterior employees show up at our home demanding a payment. I can recall my husband and I putting away groceries while one such phone call came in. We were unable to get to the phone in time. Within minutes a Marshall Exterior employee showed up at our home demanding a payment. We never received any apology or remorse when we emailed management regarding this experience. On the day our project was complete of course we kept our word, and paid in full.Looking ahead, we would like to install exterior doors, and a new bay window. However, with our overall experience with Marshalls it will probably be with an other company. Sadly, this means it will have to be a accompany outside of Newark.

Adam and his team have replaced the roofs on two of my buildings, sided my home, replaced windows and gutters. I have been very happy with the quality of the workmanship, their professionalism and the results of their work. I was impressed with how they kept my properties clean during the construction process. Most of all, I have appreciated the advice that Adam has given when Ive had to make decisions regarding my buildings. I have and will continue to go to Marshall Exteriors whenever I need work done on my buildings.
Had all new house windows installed in 2010. Two windows needed to be replaced this year (2019) and Marshalls was great about looking up my previous purchase and warranty. They were timely and professional . I would highly recommend Marshalls Exterior.
In a time where almost every single skilled trade specialist is booked out for months and months because of the delay of work from Covid-19, Marshall made it happen for us. We had some damage in our basement ceiling where some ceiling tiles and insulation needed replacement from being soaked from a burst sink pipe upstairs. Travis came out for a quick, accurate assessment of what work we needed to have done and Sean knocked it out of the park today. It looks great down there now and it’s ready for winter hangouts and beyond for when we eventually sell our condo. Thank you very much for fitting us in your crazy schedule. I would highly recommend anyone needing this type of work done to give them a call.
We moved into a house and were in need of new windows. The owner (Adam) came along with his team for the estimate, and was great at explaining all of our options.We had also received quotes from three other companies. Not only was Marshall’s the most affordable, but there was the least amount of “salesman” and pressure.When we decided to go with Marshall’s, the office was great in scheduling our renovation, and the crew was very professional while in my home.About six months after having the windows, we had a window that wouldn’t lock. I called Marshall’s, and they came right out. They replaced the window at no charge.I will always give Marshall’s a chance at my business.

I had Marshall replace four windows in my home. My salesman, Anthony, took time to explain all options for replacement windows, and was very easy to deal with. No pushy sales tactics here at all ! The crew, lead by Billy Rivers, did a great job with the removal and installation of the windows.They cleaned up afterwards to the point that you could hardly tell they were there. There was an issue with one of the screens, and they took care of it the very next day!I highly recommend them.
We had Marshall’s do a new roof and siding for us. We are years in and have had zero issues. Everything from our first encounter was professional. Each day the crew left the yard was impeccable!! This company is amazing from beginning to end. When you call, they show up. It seems pretty common sense, but you would be surprised how many companies don’t bother to follow through if they don’t like the job. They look for the easy money. In addition to showing up, they DO the job and do it well. Adam really wants his customers to be happy. He goes above and beyond to assure his customers happiness. He keeps his prices reasonable, while still delivering quality, without cutting corners. They also do the job quickly- and clean up completely. I have been very pleased with their work and will be having them back to side our house shortly!

In a few words, outstanding from start to finish. Marshall Exteriors was one of several contractors I contacted to do some work on our approximately 2700 sq. ft. Victorian style home. We needed our roof replaced, new gutters installed and a few original windows needed to replaced. Anthony Natale from Marshall Exteriors returned my initial phone call promptly and scheduled a convenient time to come to our home to inspect the roof, windows and gutters and give an estimate.He arrived at the scheduled time and began with a thorough inspection of everything. He took the time to explain the condition of the roof and explain the process for replacing everything. He went into his vehicle and within approximately 15 minutes provided us with an estimate of all the work to be provided. He also took the time to answer all our additional questions and told us to call him if we had any other questions.Anthony and his team were prompt, professional and extremely courteous throughout the entire job. They worked diligently and quickly. They took extra precautions to ensure all the debris was disposed of properly and the job site was meticulously maintained. And there were no hidden costs at the end. The entire experience was positive and hassle free.I have even had the pleasure of meeting most of the staff at Marshall Exteriors. From Anthony Natale, Dennis Felice, Ann Krueger, Christine Natale and Daniel Herd. I was even fortunate enough to meet the owner, Adam Olschewske. The people at Marshalls came out & were extremely professional & courteous. They were not high pressure sales people but they pointed out how their high levels of customer service & exceptional product line made them a good choice. Adam and his team are the best! Quality products and they stand by their work, we had a few shingles blow off during a windstorm year after our roof was put on and they repaired it an hour after I called. They replaced all of our upstairs windows, they were quick, professional and clean.

A couple years ago we were selling our house & about 2 weeks before closing we got a hail storm (of course we got a bunch of damage). I called several places for estimates & everyone seemed too busy until I got Adam at Marshalls. He came out the next day & looked over the exterior house top to bottom knowing the house was about to close on the sale. He gave me a detailed estimate, helped me understand it & then went above & beyond letting me know what my home owners insurance should cover & how to get the claim going. Needless to say, if it werent for Adam, Im sure the repairs would not have been done before the closing.
I had over $26,000 worth of work “completed” by Marshall’s. No one ever contacted me afterwards to ask about our experience. Damaged property that was brought to the companies attention was never addressed. Now I’ve been waiting over 3 weeks for them to come replace roof shingles for the 3rd time in 8 months and to fix an incomplete gutter cover. Horrible customer service and follow through. I would not recommend them.
Several neighbors recommended Marshall Exteriors. Shingle roof tear-off then a new metal roof, with new vinyl fascia and soffits, and new gutters. All three crews were excellent workers providing excellent workmanship. They arrived on time, prepared to work. No foul language, no loud music. All trash and I mean ALL trash picked up and removed from site. I noticed one small issue with the roof and they immediately came to repair the problem. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Adam and his crews.

We chose Marshall Exteriors in our basement remodel project and couldnt be happier. The whole team from the original sales meeting to pre-production and through to completion was professional. The project started on time and finished ahead of schedule. The communication was continually back and forth so we knew exactly where the project was and what to expect. Any issues (all very minor in scope) we had during the project were addressed without delay and to satisfaction. We absolutely love our basement theatre room/kitchenette and full bath and would absolutely recommend Adam and his team at Marshall. **Rating Note - I never rate anyone at the maximum as I feel any company should have something to continue to work toward. 4 Stars is my maximum, very satisfied!!!

Marshall’s added an attractive sun room to our home under some unusual circumstances involving a string of bad weather events and some coordination issues with water remediation work that drifted into scheduled sun room work. Those factors contributed to some snafus, but Marshall’s managed them and took the necessary steps to ensure we were satisfied with the finished product. The project took longer than we anticipated, but the end product met our expectations, and we would work with Marshall’s again
First of all thank u -all of u for making my dream home. everyone was so nice and made me feel like their family. did the job in the winter,fighting snow and harsh temperatures they worked very well as a team and got the job done . My sales person Adam, is very knowledgeable took time to revisit my house to explain company and products to both my husband and I at different time, Marshals installed 12 new windows, resided my house and replaced 3 storm doors and 1 main door. These guys did a whole roof on my Grandmothers house and garage. They did fantastic work! They were very respectable, put down tarps to prevent damaging her gardens, lawns etc. They even went around the house with a huge magnet to collect any nails that may have escaped. They completed this job ahead of schedule and the quality was above and beyond! Great job guys!
Extremely pleased with them when they did our roof in 2018. We called last year for a hole in fascia and were given the run around; the manager called us and said the original quote didnt sound right and he came to check it out, then we never heard from them. I contacted them a few times, we talked back and forth, nothing was resolved and they wouldnt listen to or requote us.

My family and I would like to wish a very Merry Christmas to Marshall exteriors LLC. On their website Marshalls says hes committed to customer services, before during and AFTER. I would like to share my experiences. About 5 years ago my brother in law had Marshalls look @ his roof, Marshalls professional opinion was that the roof was in good shape and a re-roof would fit perfect. Shortly after the job was finished the original problem re-appeared, which was a leak. Marshalls did come back and half heartedly try to seal it with caulk, and after several attempts, it still leaked. Thousands of dollars were spent on that job, and today five years later, they are in the process of complete tear off, which the contractor said should have been done 5 yrs ago. At that point when they called you, shouldnt you have at least stopped by and taken a look at what was going on and possibly done the right thing? As far as Im concerned his statement on his web site is false advertising. Ive always been a Newark resident , so Ive seen how much you have grown and Im happy for you , but not at the cost of bad business practices. Ive read your bio on line and Id hire you with that brilliant write up, except anybody can brag about there accomplishments, proof is in the work, and services. Maybe you could do the right thing, and make other peoples Christmas a little brighter.
I had some gutter work done which was accomplished on schedule. More than anything the customer service was excellent in my experience, which goes a long way. They seem like honest folks. Will use their services again should the need arise.

This company is horrible! I signed a contract with them and they blew me off. They charge me $135 for a quote and didn’t even bother showing up to do the work. So they got paid for doing nothing. so I would only recommend them if u don’t want a job to get done.

Adam is a stand up guy. He takes pride in his work and his community. The work they do is solid and I never see or hear any complaints about their work.

2022-02-12We had Adam at Marshalls estimate many jobs around our house. Hes always been professional courteous and on time. The appointments always go smooth and he is very informative. We have had Marshall replace our roof, front door, patio door, many widwindows and vinyl siding. The crews were all very kind , professional and excellent at their craft. The whole experience from start to finish was great and will definitely have more done in the future.

2022-04-10Marshall Exteriors completed a sunroom addition and deck for us. They were the right choice for us!! Their work was impeccable and outstanding. The crew, Rick, Ben & Cody were meticulous with their craftsmanship. They were accommodating to our dogs and the fenced in yard; took the initiative to ensure the area was secured each night so our dogs would not get loose. This wasn’t something we asked for ~ they just did it!! This meant the world to us and says so much about the people Marshall hires!! Their attention to detail and to customer relations is top notch! You made our project a perfect addition to our home!More Kudos to the Sunroom Crew- which you will not find with many other contractors-crew arrived each day on time-worked conscientiously-thoroughly cleaned up each night before leaving-treated our home with respect, were quiet and not swearing-accommodated a change/addition to the work and got done what we envisioned-very accessible for questions and had timely responses-the sub-contractor/electrician, Jameson was also impeccable and worked until the job was complete. He took great care in his work and even found a problem outside of the sunroom work with one of our circuits and came back on his own to fix it - A+ all the way!Kudos to Anthony & Chad-Anthony provided much ease in quoting the work and helping us to decide on what we wanted, offering suggestions-Anthony & Chad have a wealth of knowledge!-Chad came to check on the work and met with the inspector multiple times and was always available for questionsLastly, while you may have to wait a bit to have your project start (because they are busy and take their time to do proper work) …..believe us…it’s well worth the wait!! 2022-03-18Marshalls did an excellent job on replacing our roof (4 tear offs) and putting a railing on our deck. My son, who has worked in construction, has always had a complaint about something the contractor doesnt do right. Today, he told me he was impressed with their work (as I am). This was a first. They also did a great job of cleaning up after the snow melted. I will definitely use them again, Workers were respectful and kind and staff was always pleasant when I called.

2022-03-24I have had Marshall Exteriors work on 3 seperate projects for my home. They replaced a front door and sidelight, replaced some gutters and built a beautiful new deck for me. They took the time to learn what I wanted from my projects, worked within my budget and delivered on time. Staff from Marshall checked in during my projects and after the fact to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. I cant recommend them enough! Thank you Mike and crew!

2022-02-11Best experience ever. My roof and siding was badly damaged by a windstorm. Adam came out and did the estimate that night even without power. He and his team guided me the whole way. We ended up having the roof, windows and siding redone. Whenever an issue came up either Adam or Anthony took care of it immediately. I would highly recommend them.

2022-03-17Dennis came out to give me an estimate on a deck. He was on time and was very professional. The quote was reasonable and within my price range. He will be starting the deck in July. Very excited to see the finished product!

2022-03-16I bought a house in spring of 2021 that had existing gutters, but they needed to be repaired. I asked Marshall Exteriors for a quote, and they quoted me ELEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS. This is not a joke. $11k to fix gutters that were already on the house. They claimed that they needed to remove all of the decorative trim on the exterior of the house and replace all of the soffit. Oh, and I would have had to paint to soffit myself. What a joke. Ended up reaching out to a local contractor and he repaired everything and installed brand new gutters on the carriage house for $600. I’ll never get a quote from here again.

2021-01-03We love all the work Marshall did for us: complete roof tear-off and replacement, replacing all 4 attic windows, complete front porch tear-off and replacement, and new gutters and downspouts. We love knowing that our home is now safe! We would recommend them over and over again, and we hope to use them again soon for more projects. We wont call another place as everyone we have dealt with has been great to work with. They also came and installed our new porch light.
