Good staff and a great selection of a little bit of everything from fragrances to household essentials pet toys to sportswear. Youll get lost in the selections offered in this location!! Highly recommend store is squeaky clean following CoVid protocol from cleaning carts to plexiglass separating customers from cashiers face mask a must!!😷🙂

Always a treasure hunt for good deals here. Staff says they have delivery every day! True or not, you get that itch to visit and explore every day like a thrift shop. Except everything is new and not used products. I think they also have layaway. Which I think is pretty cool.
The store always has news, too bad that the lingerie options are so ugly! Ive seen more beautiful options in other locations. We didnt find any legal options in the 117th store.
Theres always good bargains here at this Marshalls.The employees were professional and polite. Theres a lot of seasonal merchandise out at great prices. Bring your own bag.If you dont have onethats large emough one can be purchased. A large paper shopping bag for 5 cents or their shopping bag for $l.00.
Always take time to search the aisles. Took my sister we both left HAPPY. She found the items she needed & at great prices! We had a great day & l found comfortable footwear!
I love Marshalls but a few things need to be addressed. The store could be kept a bit more tidy, a walk thru oh so often would help that. The thing that made me angry enough to leave the items I came for was that , If you sell oversized items YOU SHOULD NEVER RUN OUT OF OVERSIZED BAGS. I should not be told that I will have to carry the 2 KING SIZED pillows Im purchasing in my hands, all of us dont have cars. 🤬
For once I was happy not having to wait on a long line cashier was very helpful and i really had a pleasant experience shopping
This is like the only place I go if I want to buy luggage or a beautiful dress and really cute shoes on a budget if youre going to come over here come here with 200 to $300 and you will buy your entire wardrobe for the season. the staff is friendly and the place is very clean and very neat and although I do wish they had some more lingerie for the plus-size section and a little wider for the wheelchair accessible Community if we want you really take our time and look around we would like to not trip over shoes and such.
Loved this location. Some locations can be bare and picked over but this one was well stocked and organized. I was even greeted upon arrival which was a pleasant surprise.
Store at east 117th st NYC clean, tidy and well laid out. The staff were very friendly a d helpful. Kudos to the dressing room attendants (on both days I went) who greeted me with smiles going into and out of dressing rooms. Another staff member walked me over to the area of clothing I was looking for, pointing out various other places to look through to find all I needed. Great shopping experience. Only small beef I have was long line to wait at checkout, but even there, staff were very courteous.
Store was neat and clean staff were friendly especially babara except one that brought my attention was a women name ivone i believe her name is orange shirt very rude havin a conversations cursing a storm how she hate her job with some women with glasses hope is her name looks like she didnt had much hope talkin to her my kids are around i dont want that influences in them about a job literally felt like tlk to a manager about this but didnt had enough time beside that i found my Jar for my flowers in home aisle and a rug i needed great selections loved it will be coming back .
I got the most cutest pair of burnt orange skinny jeans here. It just so happened to be my first purchase at Marshalls, and now I look forward to coming back to shop their great deals.

Everything is piled on top of one another, very difficult to find certain things you need. People drop things and they remain there. The several times Ive been there I had no employee help, which is a put-off if everything is all over the place. Definitely Marshalls is not my favorite store.
Cashier are relly not nice.No patients when you asking questions.There were maybe 10 people, everyone buy things less then5 , but still long line at the register everytime,dont understand why .

The selection here is good, but I wished theyd restock the underwear section. You can find shoes, clothes, luggage, and home goods. This store is better than the one in downtown Manhatttan
Great Place For Gifts & At A Reasonable Price
Yesss one of my favorite pastimes is to aimless wander the isles in search of something to buy. I went there looking for nothing In particular, just to browse. Then BOOM! I found something I never knew I was looking for... a brand new bed set. So now I needed all of the add ons (Im odc like that)... matching curtains, rugs, candles, throw pillows, etc & when I finally put it all together 😍 wow was all I could say.... I realize I like to do things like this perhaps I should do this as a second job. Thanks for helping me find my niche!
You can get a good deal here...but the store is sometimes in disarray, so its hard to find things unless you dig deep into piles of stuff. Its still worth the visit if youre looking for a bargain, especially compared to the Marshalls on 125th...which is HORRIBLE. Seemingly their home decor and hair product section is always messy and usually not worth looking over, but all in all, this place is worth the trip for clothing and footwear.
I love this Marshalls, its always clean, well organized and I find some of the cutest things. When I want to get something special for myself I roam around in here and always come out happy!
My daughter is most fashionable because of this store and everything is very well priced
I wouldnt recommend this branch of Marshalls.When I went (last weekend) it was EXTREMELY picked over. There were barely enough things to fill the shelves properly.As a chain, I have had good luck at Marshalls in the past. But this particular branch Ill avoid from now on. The one in midtown is much better.
I like that Hana was or is such a kind, caring, helpful worker and that Darrell, and Camilo are great managers. I love buying name brand Crocs there, Schechers, shoes/sneakers for kids/adults, bags, bras/panties/underwear/socks for great prices for the whole family. Beautiful plates made in Turkey or glass blown items made in Poland, etc. There are really cute things for the house there-from drain stoppers to cake covers. There are very cheap prices that are marked down even for teas or things like Turkish delight candy. My daughter loves to get toys from here. My son and brother like the t-shirts/underwear/socks. I have purchased gifts for my nieces and nephews, sister, brothers and mother here from the kids department and other areas and I certainly plan to keep buying many wonderful things especially from the clearance items. Marshalls is a great place to shop and work with your rewards card, etc. Its parent company is T.J. Maxx. My favorite employees there are Fatuma, Aisha, Diane, Noemi, Erica, Marilyn, the other Marilyn, Bobby, Bonnie, Evon, besides the names I mentioned above. I am very sorry if I cannot remember some associates names. I love the kindness of the above workers and the fairness of such workers as Darlyn besides the professionalism of other workers like Dominique or Ada. Some workers have been mean, unprofessional, rude, unkind,and unfair but the good workers always outshine those who are unpleasant to be around or harsh so I wont mention those people who are not my favorites whether they are a front end coordinator or a front end cashier person, or sales floor person.I can go on and on about Marshalls. I think its great that the company closes on holidays to allow workers to be with family members. I only think that workers should be allowed to work schedules that are what they need for their availability not just what the company needs. There are many workers willing to work. For instance, if a worker wants to work only day shifts then they should be allowed to and if they are required to work at least two nights because of their position requirements, then they should be able to pick which two days they need. This would make for happier, healthier workers. Also workers should get 30 minute breaks or hour breaks to eat, etc. Not just 15 minute or 45 minute breaks. Also, please give workers their schedules a week in advance. That is very helpful.Again, I can go on and on. Im hoping that in the future Marshalls will have not just a MasterCard logo credit rewards card and a regular TJX credit card besides their Access rewards card that is not a credit card, but a debit card too. Then shoppers will be even more happy with shopping at TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Homegoods and Sierra Trading Post stores and they will save even more money as faithful customers or workers. I dont normally go to this Marshalls but I stopped in to look at their pet supplies after adopting a cat and I found what I was looking for.
I love Marshalls but seriously ya’ll got to get it together in here.The line is always ridiculously long and you guys only have 2-3 cashiers!! Hire some damn people.

2022-02-19I used to love this place. It was my go to location.However, it has drastically changed. Ventured in there yesterday unfortunately. There is NOT much new merchandise and it looks like a good will. No associate on the floor. The manager and cashiers could care less about long check-out lines. No social distancing on the checkout line. Clothing had two different price tickets and the employee charged the much higher amount even though it was on clearance. There is a rift raft of other customers who seem to do whatever they want. I am done with this location. THE ONE GOOD THING: The man minding the fitting rooms is EXCEPTIONAL. He is also sometimes at the entry. Just great customer service. He should be cloned to replace other employees there who clearly hate their jobs.

2022-02-12I like Marshalls is organized, if you going to get a pare of shoes is really clear where to go, the kitchen utensils I love it go there. I want to get everything from there. Dogs staff is nice and I like to get things for my Monchy and Hershey. The clothes is nice.

2018-01-03Today, I was at your location at 517 East 117th Street, New York, BY 10035. I picked up three pairs of ankle length Darn Tough Vermont socks two of which were on clearance marked $4.50 each. The 3rd pair the clearance ticket was scratched off. I took all the socks to the register with the rest of my merchandise. I asked the cashier, a nice young man, for a price check. He too the pair of socks to his manager, Edith, for a price check. She called an associate and the associate bought long sock marked down to $10.00. In the meantime, the cashier rang up the other 2 pairs (with the price listed and it showed $4.50 in the register computer) and my other merchandise. She then tells him the price is wrong, has him void them off my transaction and proceeded to change the price to $10.00. I am sooo disappointed and felt so violated like a committed a crime just trying to buy socks. I refused to buy the entire purchase. The price marked is the price should be paid by the consumer and I will make a report to the NY Dept of consumer affairs. I went back to the rack where I initially pick up the socks and found two more pairs of socks marked $4.50 (I took pictures and video of the prices marked on the socks). I am so disappointed right now I may never shop in Marshalls again. The experience was horrible and buyer beware of manager price changing scam!!!
