Marshalls is a nice store with many great qualities. It has a wide variety of clothes and some at great prices. The store is clean and upkept. The employees are all very kind and keep the store stocked, maintaining its overall appearance. I enjoyed the visit and Im sure Ill be back again.

Poor front door clerk. Mask mandate in effect even though the rest of nys is lifted.Front door clerk one said I could enter without mask and then the other clerk asked me confidential information which goes against the HIPPA LAWS. Asking personal information!I wont return and will take my business elsewhere. I was going to spend approx. $500 for gifts and housewares. No star review from me!!!!! :(
One employee was particularly rude - a greeter or whatever who hands out the carts. The other girl working with her was nice, but the tone of the first, upon leaving the store was rude regarding taking the cart outside, that I needed to carry everything out. Very rude and snobby. I had to hold my tongue because I wouldve really lost it!

Front end manager was rude and nasty! Acted disgusted with my questions regarding pricing when multiple items rang in different than they were marked, the girl of my register for didnt bother to explain to me what was going on just walked away and grabbed the manager. I will NEVER shop there again!!!!
Marshalls has amazing prices. Their home decor section has many selections. Their clothes department is hit or miss, but youll often find the right piece.
Sales are fabulous here. I got an alphabet iPad for a 3yr .... 3 outfits for a child and a pair of pjs for 50$.... seriously cool.
This is the only place I see disinfecting counter and PIN pad between each customer during the covid surge in our region. Also, I found a beautiful oversized throw (in the hard to find 60 × 70 size) in a very high quality material for under $17.

They dont seem to have as many items for young men (tall teens). We did pick up a few doggy items and socks.

I love this Marshalls! They always have the best selection, and nicest displays. The store is clean, organized, and tidy. Staff is always polite and helpful! Its nicer than the TJ Maxx in New Hartford which always seems to be in such a disarray.
Not much to choose from in the mens section. I did find a nice hoody for a good price and some dog food dishes.
Shopping here is hit or miss, but the deals are decent when you find them. Be prepared to battle inconsiderate and entitled double X chromosome humans for these said deals. They will push you out of the way and mean mug you the whole time. The actions of these XX humans make me feel violated, dirty, and shameful upon my return home from these trips.The way they act over clothes shopping makes me fear the end of our civilized society when food is scarce. The best part of shopping here is my eyes are often titillated by the number of individuals who choose to wear yoga pants. Mostly bad, but when its good, its good.
Overall an affordable place to shop,but its weird to see there is no people of color working in this establishment. Im starting to notice Rome ny job force is lacking diversity

Lots of great deals at Marshalls. Got granddaughter a dress and sandals for school function. The employees were very helpful and courtesious. Checkout was quick and painless. Also purchased a very nive dog bed for my Chihuahuas.
Marshall’s was my normal go to store for just about everything until recently. My wife and I were purchasing some items and next to us was a couple buying multiple knick knacks. The cashier (older very short) was asking them if they were interested in a Marshall’s credit card. Customer says no, the cashier proceeds to explain she can save $12 dollars on her purchase. Customer thinks about it but says, i dont think i should. Cashier proceeds to say things like “you’re spending the money anyway” “why wouldnt you want to save $12?” “I think youre missing out”, not all exact word for word but close enough.This went on for a bit until i looked over and said, Don’t sign up for the credit card, its $12 bucks, save it elsewhere and stop letting her talk you into it. The Cashier starts whispering to her now to think about the card. All the while, she is not letting this customer check out and leave, basically holding her hostage.We left and as i drove out they were still at the counter getting hassled. When someone says no, let them go. Disgusting
Walked up to the cashiers, lights showed all were open. Of the three there only one cashier was actually waiting on a customer. One had her back to the line, the other was doing something the hangers. She looked at me twice, never acknowledged I was even waiting. The cashier that was waiting on the customer finished up and ended up waiting on me.If Id have been a Shopper who rates Marshalls customer service employees, they would have failed. They didnt have much that fit this fat old guy but my wife and mom faired better.
Compared to other Marshalls in the region this one is small and seems a month behind the others for fresh merchandise. Is terribly messy and unkempt considering that there are always an abundance of employees working in it. Checkout is fast normal 5 to 6 registers going. Could be why the store is a mess
Signed up for the store card and am very disatisfied. They dont even give you 30 days to pay the bill. It somehow takes 7-14 days for the bill to be mailed to you..... just got my recent bill only had 16 days to pay it due to a holiday. Wouldnt recommend getting the card its a joke.

Marshalls is a great spot to find unique gift items, food, clothes, house supplies, décor and furniture. The four star rating is only for the abundance of one focus over another.
This Marshalls is smaller than some of the other ones. Mens and Childrens/Boys section is always small and never has much to choose from. If Lucky, maybe one shirt of interest. Unlike the Womens and Juniors section, its just terrible. Even when it comes to shoes for them. Womens/Juniors section is decent and has an assortment. Theres always something fun to find, but I believe for this Marshalls being in a well populated city, it definitely needs to be bigger with more selection.
This one is much smaller than most of the other Marshalls I have been to. It also has less of a selection as well, especially clothing wise. Otherwise seemed organized and relatively clean
Super busy with the reopen, but the employees were quick, kind, and efficient in moving people in and out. 75 person limit inside, so there is a line outside, so dress accordingly.
I always love going there. They have some really unique stuff you cant find anywhere else.
This place is cool to come shop if you want to get half off Under Armour Nike Adidas call Mike Klein Tommy Hilfiger I come here and Shop often its hit or miss on the selection but if you can catch him on a good day you could save about 50% off your purchase if you were to purchase it online from the manufacturers all the workers there are very friendly and nice they keep the store up the best they can I would recommend shopping here and trying it out
Assortment of pants for ladies that wear a plus size, was pitiful. And what they did have, werent true to size. Super disappointed!
Went to buy a new Bluetooth for my phone and when I got home the head phones were gone. I came from Utica and had to drive back and then the person wanted to give me a hard time. But the funny thing is I went back today with my daughter and they had put the empty package back on the shelf for some reason? That is just horrible. I wont be making any trips back here again.

2019-08-20Clothes are wonderful price especially name brand is sooo cheap but home decor is expensive Im not sure about makeup as much. I actually lost my wallet and called and got there in 5 minutes and they already found it most workers are so sweet. They have popular clothes and keep up with trends I tried on Id say 30 things I loved and bought about 15 that I thought looked perfect on me!! I love their clothes and prices for them so much!! I bought sunglasses for 10 dollars thats it!!! And a water bottle for 6 also make brand shoes are cheap there as well I saw Adidas white breathable sneakers for 40 !! Thats about $20 off!! Sorry for the long paragraph but absolutely love this store!! But there are a lot of crop tops but I did find some longer shirts as shown in the pictures thank for reading!! ❤️💛

2022-03-26Staff tries to keep it tidy but theres a lot of foot traffic so its gotta be a hard job not to have candy mixed in with makeup and shirts mixed into the shoes lol other than that nice place!

2019-07-18I love going in here and just shopping for anything. I just got this new perfume that smells amazing for only $6.99. It is called RiRi by Rihanna. I recommend buying it 👌The clothes are gorgeous there 😍 Lets not forget the purses omg they are beautiful ❤️ I recommend shopping at Marshalls.

2017-09-23Housewares had a good selection. Many seasonal items were out on display. Prices were average to high compared to competitors. Some areas had thin selection with limited range of colors or choices.
