Martinique New York on Broadway, Curio Collection by Hilton in New York
Very uncomfortable rooms for anything but sleeping. The desk chair is not actually a desk chair; it has a low back and is not comfortable to lean back into. The TV is mounted flat to the wall and is not moveable. The couch can be made comfortable enough to sit in but is at difficult viewing angle from the TV. Thankfully, being in NYC, Im not watching much TV. The rest of the room was appointed well, at least, and the shower was great - good water pressure. Having received a daily food credit, I ordered room service a couple times. I was a little shocked to find a $10 delivery fee on the bill, in ADDITION to the auto-charged tip. That $38 burger and beer is actually $58 just because they run it up the elevator. If I had known, I wouldve made the very quick trip down to pick it up myself. The hotel is in a convenient part of town, so if youre just sleeping, showering and seeing the city, itll do fine if the nightly rate is right.
I was on a trip to NYC with my brother for his birthday and decided to stay at the Martinique hotel and was impressed with the customer service and how nice all the staff was. Any time we needed something and called reception, the answered quickly and got things resolved super quickly. Hotel room as very clean and modern and we were right next to a metro station (convenient) and near Empire State Building, Times Square, 5th ave, etc. Location is perfect!
The hotel is situated at the very right location✅Walking distance from NY Penn StationPath station✅Situated right in the middle of Korea town✅Near to Madison Avenue the shopping square.Ambiance✅ very good ambianceThe rooms are small but clean and niceThere is no view from the rooms unfortunately.✅ The staff is very nice✅The hotel has restaurant and gym both are equally nice.Note that they charge you $30 per day for wifi. You can use this money in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner and even drinks. This fee is charged in your hotel booking transactions I suppose.Unfortunately as it was a work trip to NYI could not click the pictures of the room and lobby area
Check in very slow.Air conditioner banging away when turning on or off.Security not strong: anyone can walk right on to the elevator from off the street.Crazy late check in time.$30 daily fee (you can use it on food but can’t save it up?).I’ll add my view from my window.Next trip to NYC I’ll find another Hilton property.
The location of this hotel is superb! The rooms are a good size and the bathrooms are a bit small but clean! The Wi-Fi is nonexistent so be prepared to use your data plan (for us, this was true in multiple rooms as well as in the lobby). The manager attempted to help when we first checked in but did not resolve the issue and no one on the staff followed up on the matter. The restaurant was fine the first few days but perhaps the weekday staff is more accustomed to standing around rather than serving.
Positive: The hotel was very clean, decorated well and in a convenient location! The room was very nice and comfortable as well. I would definitely stay again. Negative: The hotel restaurant was just OK. Although the staff was very kind and attentive AND the skillet cookie was amazing as well as the drinks the food itself was mediocre.
Beautiful hotel, large rooms for NYC, very clean, great bathroom, nice staff, good restaurant, conveniently located for us. So far, the finest Hilton property weve visited in NYC (weve stayed in at least 10 properties, maybe more) as we are loyal Hilton guests. Will stay there again.
Excellent hotel in excellent location. Subway is right out door with direct access to 8 trains plus PATH. Koreatown two steps in opposite direction. Rooms do have street noise, so ask for room facing interior. Comfortable beds and nicely updated bathrooms. Highly recommend.
The check in was great, she was very helpful explained room credits and amenities. The room was quite spacious, comfortable and updated. Now as it relates to the check out experience, it was the worst I’ve experience at a Hilton property ever. I was forwarded to the MOD (Ashley), to explain my confusion on the check out time and notify her I’d be checking out within 20-30 mins MOD had no customer service skills. She was very short tempered, not helpful and just rude someone should teach her the skill of at least listen to listen and not respond. She had no empathy or people skills (I hope she isn’t treating her employees this way). I was still determining whether I’d be extending my stay by one more night (I knew there was availability, i check on the app), but after dealing with MOD I decided to check out and go to another Hilton property down the street. Location of hotel is perfect everything is within walking distance and/or easy access for Uber, taxi and subway. Bell men were beyond helpful.
We had two queen bedroom. Its not big but will do for a family with kids. Location is good (though keep in mind that midtown is a bit boring)? So why 2 stars? Its the restaurant. Nice staff but totally overworked, understaffed and outrageous prices for the smallest portions on earth. There is a weird mandatory $30 per night fee that you pay for, and therefore want to spend at the restaurant. Literally two spoons of yogurt, 2 strawberries and 5 blue berries is $16 plus tip and tax. Takes 10 minutes before they even serve water. Incredible. Not one day experience but 4 days in a row
Inside the Lobby and front desk very beautiful. My room was what I expected very nice bathroom cleaned and the employees very nice and informative and friendly! Next trip I will be coming back to the same hotel!! definitely recommend for anyone with or without kids and friends
All the basic amenities with no complaints about anything. The gym is unusually good, actually, although I did crave a sauna (an unreasonable expectation on my part so obviously I wont count that against them). The restaurant has a limited selection but what they have is great
One of the worst hotels Ive ever stayed at.Rooms are tiny and dark with views of scaffolding, they say that I had an upgrade as a diamond member so God knows what normal rooms look like. They charge 30 dollars extra a day and call it a mandatory charge, its a con. In Europe it would be considered fraud and would be illegal. For spending your allowance they dont explain what you use the money for or when one day ends and the next begins, as a diamond member I get three seperate invoices when I check out, made as complicated as possible to con you out of money.Dont try to get late checkout, they pretend its a possibility but had no chance of actually getting it, they just lie to you.Staff in the bar are very nice, thats about the only positive.A hotel so bad i genuinely want to end my 15 year relationship as a loyal Hilton customer
If you’re going to read any of these reviews it should be this one. Anyone who thinks this property deserves any more than 3 stars has probably never stayed at a hotel before. This place is a dump. If you’ve ever stayed at a Curio collection you hold that branding to a certain standard. When you get into your tiny room you’ll notice the decades old TV and coffee machine, and some hair in the sink from the last guest… nobody picks up the phone when you call… when you walk in at night some “security” lady stands there asking people to see their room keys before they went in which is a horrible system that I found offensive. This morning I was woken up by a housekeeper coming into my room at 8:45!!! I’m infuriated. I’m calling the diamond desk and telling them everything that I’ve experienced here. Literally stay anywhere else except for here. It’s just a Hampton Inn without free breakfast.
They are making me check in tonight, then check out tomorrow morning, then wait to switch rooms, then check into a different room. I guess it’s my fault because I wanted to come to this hotel one day earlier, but the same room type (one bed vs two bed) wasn’t available. They will not find any way to let me keep the same room even though I said it’s ok to stay in the lesser of the two rooms. I feel so stupid for extending my trip at this hotel and disappointed they could not help me. I travel for work and this is a basically problem that is always solved by other hotels, so I do not recommend for business travelers who need more flexibility.
Passive aggressive racism and wack fees. Do not recommend them AT ALL unless you enjoy the mentioned things. Only thing good about this hotel is their location (right by koreatown) and thats it. Rooms are just okay but the real problem is with their awful attitude and the whole destination fee scam that hotels are starting to participate in after the pandemic.Be aware that theres a non-refundable destination fee of $30 per night that they dont really inform you during your reservation inso to lower their prices on websites. You get to use the $30 everynight on hotel amenities but if you dont or foget? Its gone. $30 just gone to the thin air and no forwarding to the next day. Also the front desk staffs are unprofessional in terms of their attitude. I get that its a 3 star hotel but its not so pleasing when your local cafe has better customer service than a hotel right on downtown NY. The passive aggressive racism i could clearly feel and notice when checking in and during baggage storage was just not cool considering this is 2022. Cutting off our sentences in mid-question, noticeable annoyance, and just the overall attitude. The only nice person was one lady during our check out and that was it.I sincerely hope you guys actually reflect on these reviews instead of sending another automated reply of oh sorry to hear this please email us stuff because I really am never going to go back and dont care much about the email opportunity.
Opulence at a reasonable price! The rooms are gorgeous, beds are extremely comfortable, staff is courteous and ready to help, and - most importantly - you will get nothing short of a wonderful night sleep (you will be on Cloud 9. Trust Me.) Also, the hotel has easy access to all of the major attractions. All of this at a reasonable price.Book now and let this be your oasis in the Concrete Jungle!
The Martinique is exquisite!!!It IS a destination Hotel!!!I have only stayed at one other Hotel I would compare this to (The Dream Hotel Hollywood in LA). Minus the fact that the food amenities are pending, this place IS 10☆s!!The Martinique CATERS!!!Youll want to be a Hilton Honor member to take advantage of the daily credits offered.I love everything about it, its location, its ease of access to everything and the fact that you can cut through it, I got a very early check in - its in the middle of EVERYTHING - but most importantly, it will always be my 1st home in NY. I cant wait to return!!!!!!!The only thing I was soso about was the resturant. The staff and atmosphere was great just the menu is shallow.
When I entered the entrance at night, the staff who looks older and has gray hair asked me to show my room key.Do I look so homeless or criminal? Why did he ask such a stupid question? When I went out to smoke, I asked another staff member because I couldnt see the staff who asked me that stupid question. He replied that it was common. What for? Isnt the lobby a shared space? As you can see from the reviews, it says there is no restriction on entering this hotel. Even when I came in late last night as well.Ok I totally understand. Thanks for your feedback but Id like to add more. what if they ask more politely? It might be more less unpleasant
Bad hotel. The only good things are location and main lobby. Rooms are small, claustrophobic and bad airated. Despite AC is working, air in the room gets very bad at night. It feels like you are sleeping in a broom closet. There are much better hotels in the area. I wont be coming back.
Positive: The is a beautiful old hotel thats been recently renovated. It feels fresh and met our expectations. Negative: We were traveling with our granddaughter, who slept in the (very comfortable) sofa-bed. Unfortunately there was only about 8 (20cm) between the foot of the open sofa-bed and the side of the king bed. Would have worked way better with a Queen bed.
This hotel is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The helpfulness and availability of the front desk staff greatly depended on who was there. In the morning our problems were solved immediately. In the evening, we had a problem with our water, and the front desk phone just rang and rang. No one ever picked up. We had to wait until morning to get a hold of anyone. The rest of the staff was very kind and helpful. The internet was useless. 1 device only with max speeds of 3mbps. Expect to use your own cell data. The $30 required fee for the internet was annoying, but can be used to pay for at least half of breakfast in the morning, which was fine. Don’t even think about dinner. Way too expensive for average food. Keep in mind that gratuity is automatically included at the restaurant. The location of the hotel is excellent and convenient. It’s midtown, so expect noise.
The only thing good about this place, only the location. They dont offer early check in, late check out is only extended 30 mins. I had booked two rooms, people in each room got different answers for everything, ranging from asking for utensils to checking out. There is a $10 delivery fee to have anything brought up to your room, because verbatim from the receptionist we have to run it all the way up to you ourselves. There was balls of hair stuck on the shower wall when we first examined our room, the towels provided were all dusty, and my room was given a late check out time of 11:30 while my friends in the other room got 12:00. I had left a bag in my room accidentally when checking out and by the time i realized, i was too far. I called the hotel to see if they can check the room because it definitely was not touched by housekeeping by the time i called, they hung up on me the first time and the second time they said they would call me back, they never did.Everything is mediocre and the price is not worth the experience they promised online. Youll have a better time and experience spending your money on somewhere else.
This used to be my favorite Hilton brand hotel in Manhattan until they started scamming guests with the mandatory $30/night charge that other tourist-trap hotels impose. It isn’t even near anything…total scam. Do yourself a favor and stay at the nearby Hilton Fashion District or Springhill Suites Chelsea. Same amenities, greater value.
I stayed in the hotel for a night. Book a room with queen beds for family of 4. It was a big room, beds were comfortable, washroom was functional. The room was on 17th floor so no noise from the street. AC was loud, lifts were slow but there were a couple so didnt have to wait long even though we were on 17th floor. Its 2 blocks from Marys and about 8 blocks from Bryant park.
My wife and daughter have just had a really nice stay up to checking out to find they had been charged $50 for someone else’s meals which shouldn’t be allowed to happen which they were told they would be refunded the amount. But when arrived home only to find they had only been credited half the amount so please be aware of this when booking otherwise would have given a better score
Great clean place to stay except the stupidity that you have to stand in the checkin long line to get your parking ticket stamped. Manager Lara says she cannot do anything as there seems to be some union job that prevents her stamp a parking ticket. Customer experience sucks !!
Positive: Good location Negative: We booked and paid for a Queen size bed but the bed we were given was a full size bed. It was cramped sleeping. Front desk insisted that it was a Queen size bed. It definitely was not. Either wrong size bed listed for room or knowingly given wrong size.
The rooms are very small, even compared to other hotels near by. There is a required $30 restaurant charge on the room. I tried to have breakfast using my $30 and the hostess told me I could not bring my bag to my table and that I would have to leave my valuables outside unattended. No other solution was made available. By the time I waited to talk to someone else I ran out of time. The entire experience was overall not great. Take your money elsewhere.
Small room. They needed more front desk / bell man so the line will not be as crazy as like lining up for Black Friday Sale to check in/out as well as leave your stuff with the baggage storage. It on a perfect location but definitely need some renovations in the room.
This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The hotel staff’s attitude is worse than a motel. They cannot complete my request for cleaning my room while I’m inside the room, and request me to leave before 1pm so the cleaning lady can clean the room while I’m still staying in the hotel for the next couple days. And the staff’s attitude was so rude and bad and he even hung up on me while I was still talking. NEVER EVER GO
Positive: Recently renovated property. Nice setting and staff. Negative: Staff first could not find my reservation as they misspelled my name. Parts of the hotel are not renovated yet. The area is nice but depending on which street you¿re coming from some are not as nice.
The Curio Martinique was incredible. We had the best experience possible! We were in the city for the Christmas events. Our rooms were wonderful -comfortable and quiet. The staff was wonderful - friendly, helpful, low key. The location is right in the middle of everything a visitor would want to see, easy access to the subway and a great Bellman that took care of our baggage and other transportation nneeds and made sure we were treated fairly by the car service.
We have always enjoyed staying at the Martinique for our visits to New York. The recent renovation is beautiful. And while there are a few growing pains still apparent around the hotel, our visit this week was super. The staff is super attentive, and the property is beautiful. We will definitely be back.
A very nice hotel. You wont be disappointed. Clean and welcoming. My room was clean, pillows comfy, soft towels. Coffee make, fridge amd flat screen. Room is nice size. Dont expect big room its enough to move around and cute. Its NY. Shopping all around, food and Korean food. Parking across the street wirh reasonable overnight rates. Walkable to Broadway or can uber.
We were pleasantly greeted upon arriving and ended up checking our bags with the concierge as our room wasn’t quite ready. After returning to the hotel an hour later we were able to get into our room. The staff member checking us in thanked us for being a gold member, which is always appreciated, and had us on our way in no time. The room itself was clean...a little small but we also had a room with two beds. The bathroom was a little snug and the layout could have been better planned. The toilet and shower weren’t accessible unless you closed the bathroom door. Not a huge deal but just not an optimal layout. The beds and pillows were comfy and I really liked how they gave each bed 3 pillows. It was also nice to have two normal size bottles of water in the room that were replaced daily when housekeeping attended the room. The location of this hotel was the main draw as we were attending the Champions Classic at Madison Square Garden, which was only a few blocks away. It was also a good central location to the sites around town. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.
I regret staying here...I am a Hilton honors member and I have never been disappointed like this. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.1. People were extremely rude. Every single person working there.2. I asked for firm pillows 3x and it never happened. Even complained to management. The manager named Sergio and he did absolutely nothing. The best service I had was the Hilton rep who helped me book the hotel.3. Rooms are so small. Photos dont do any justice. The rooms are incredibly small. Not worth the money at all.4. Place is dirty. Carpet is stained and room wasnt properly stocked.5. No customer service skills. No one wants to help you. Phone concierge just goes straight to the manager and you have to leave a voicemail.I booked this for corporate travel and my job and again, will never stay or recommend this place to anyone. I love Hilton but this was extremely disappointing.
A historical hotel, upgraded to all the modern conveniences. Compared to the other Hilton weve stayed at, the rooms are larger and everything is new. The rooms are quiet, though the neighborhood is not. The bathroom is as compact as you might expect in Manhattan, the shower has better than common water pressure. Temperature control is simple, you wont need a PhD to use it as is the case in some hotels.Do dwell and note the I incredible mosaic on the lobby floor - over a 100 years old. The spiral staircase on your left, as you enter, is super pretty as well.
This hotel is in an absolutely fantastic location, adjacent to Macys and Empire State, close to Broadway, Time Square and many other attractions, food offerings all around. The hotel itself whilst covered in history is clean with modern rooms and the staff were impecable towards us. Loved our stay and due to the location definitely would again!
Very nice Hotel...part of Hiltons brand! Was there for Thanksgiving and it was well located to all the areas from lower Manhattan to midtown. The door men and Bell hops great. I only had 1 problem but its a Hilton policy problem ......and it was really disappointing.
I was in New York traveling for business. Due to weather conditions, it was appearing like I would be stuck there so I last minute made a booking at the Martinique for that night. Within a couple of hours, I was able to find a flight home and cancelled the booking the same day. I was assured over the phone there would be no fee and it would be waived. They instead charged for the full room and refuse to reverse it. This is a very unethical hotel group who doesnt stand by their word. I recommend to find another hotel in New York.
Check in was running very very late (we had to wait 5 hours) but the ***ager was able to give us drink and food vouchers which helped. The hotel room was comfortable and generally quiet. It is located in a very good place near the sites. ,Good first impression,Excellent location
Great location in the heart of the city and very close to several subway lines. Right around the corner from the Empire State Building, and a short walk to the Flatiron District. Rooms are a good size and quiet even though they are in the middle of the bustling city.
Outstanding service, blown away by the cleaniness of the room, especially the bathroom. No nasty grout or problems with water pressure. Gentlemen at the door/conseierge were outstanding, greeted with a smile questions answered. Thank u for making this a great trip! Beautiful hotel⛄👍
Ive stayed there for 4 nights while visiting the area. I would not hesitate to stay here on my next visit. The service team were very polite and helpful at all times. All in all a good hotel in a good location with great transport connections. The room was very reasonably priced.
I give this hotel 5 stars because we had a great experience from all the staff from the bellhops to the front desk and everyone in between. All the way to the end of the trip where we saved money on a ride to the airport from their driver vs the Uber I was about to call. I didn’t even ask, the doorman proactively offered when he saw us check out!The room was nice and clean, the views aren’t great but the location is good and a value for the rate. I’d take this any day vs Times Square with a better view at this moment in time.People mention the $30 daily fee and I agree it’s a little annoying, but find a way to spend it daily at the restaurant and maximize. Don’t order room service ($10 fee), and walk down and get $30 worth of food/coffee/drinks daily. You need to be disciplined to get your moneys worth, but don’t give the front desk people a hard time, it’s not in their control!
Great for business travelers. The breakfast options are great and the hotel is attached to a subway for easy commuting between events, meetings, etc. Its close enough (and far away) to be able to enjoy New York, but still be secluded from the pace of the city. Its located in Koreatown so theres a lot of great dining options, karaoke, and nightlife if you wish to partake.
Very expensive in view of the benefits. As soon as you arrive, you must add the cost of wifi as well as a meal budget that you must provide of $15/p. This is imposed and even if you do not consume, you are still debited. These expenses were not specified in the base price and had to be paid upon arrival. The room was fine although with a noisy ventilation system even though it is turned off.Extremely expensive and poor quality menu.Only advantage: Very well placedConclusion: Not worth the price of the services offered.
The location is very noisy even at night. The music in the Hall at full volume, as well as the air conditioning. There is no natural ventilation since the windows cannot be opened and when you sleep you have to put up with the noise of the air conditioning, in addition they did not have a small fridge or daily courtesy bottle of water. In the adjoining rooms there was construction and from the morning there were noises of hammering and protective plastic everywhere. The entire building was covered with scaffolding and tarps. As we had to get to the airport at 7 and we asked them to be able to stay for about 5 more hours in exchange for paying an extra and they told us no, that if we wanted to stay we would have to pay about 400 dollars. As soon as you leave the hotel you find a street full of people walking like crazy and it was very stressful.
If youre Asian, dont go here if you can. Ive seen people at the front stop saying anything when they ask a question and only say what they want to say. They put out windows in a space where they had piled up construction materials and didnt even clean up the dusty stuff. And dont pay $30 and do not include breakfast options. Its not a breakfast buffet, you just order a menu. You can eat it with a resort fee of $30, which is forcibly paid when you book a room. Small latte is about $6. Bagel is about $6 Buttered bagel is about $11. . There is a long line to sit and eat. When you submit, they go right in and place your order. There is no noise between floors, but there is noise between walls. I had the cheapest room with two queen beds. The room was very clean, but the bathroom was very small. There is no refrigerator. Im giving it 3 stars because of the windows and the front desk staff.
Its so very unkind. When I ask something, I answer it in a short-answer type, and I cant ask anything more because its business-like. Its the first time Ive seen a hotel that accepts money from the internet. It says internet connection, but the speed is so slow that I cant even download photos. It was the worst. The worst of the worst is the hotel restaurant. Hes the king of unkindness, and the food comes out late. Even if he asks to come all the time (even if the kids next to him are hungry and crying), there is no effort or consideration. Female and male staff are all unkind. Let the hotel train its staff first
Manhattan for the first time in 25 yearsHiltons unique Curio collection Martenique Hotel BroadwayLocated next to Stanford New York and Greeley Square ParkClose to Times Square, Empire Estate and Broadway, the location is perfect. The room did not have a bad city view, but it was clean and there were no particular complaints.I didnt use the restaurant in the building, but here is in the middle of Korean Town. Therefore, the choice of meals in the surrounding area is limited.(September 2019)
Super hotel in a top location, the building is one of the historic buildings of New York, but the interior is new. A large chandelier hangs in the lobby and it looks very chic. The rooms are spacious and renovated. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is located directly above Herald Square subway station. Penn Station is less than 10 minutes away on foot. The NJ Transit trains stop here, so you can get from the EWR Airport to the station and the hotel. The hotel is around a 10-minute walk to Times Square and around 15 minutes to Rockefella Center. In the street of the hotel is Koreatown with many Korean restaurants and shops. You can have breakfast in the hotel, but it costs 30 euros per person per night.
Stay in this hotel from 12/30/19 to 6/01/2020.Ultra fast check-in, pleasant and efficient staff.Room exactly as shown in the photos, the bathroom even more beautiful. RAS cleanliness level.Comfort level, perfect, everything needed, coffee machine in the room, a very practical small fridge, large TV ...Ideal location, just 10 minutes from Times Square. And above all, contrary to some opinions, we found the room to be quiet, when we were only on the 5th floor. Of course its still New York, you will always have a little noise but not enough to prevent you from sleeping.Only downside, the gym which is limited to a few cardio machines only.Oh yes, you can book a private driver for the airport transfer. If we come back to New York, we will take the same hotel without hesitation !!

2022-05-16I almost didnt post because I dont want people to fill up my new find!! I loved staying here. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and pretty. Staff was outstanding!! The price was good for a quick, one night stay to get my dress shopping done in the city. I gave service 3 stars because we ordered coffee in the AM and it never showed. A quick follow up call got us coffee in a timely manner. Definitely hoping to stay here next time in town

2022-05-11I hope to stay here every time I’m in NYC!This past week, I stayed at this hotel for the first time. Right away, I noticed how kind the front desk staff was!The lobby and common areas are gorgeous. I loved my room, too. I’d paid for a queen deluxe but got upgraded to king deluxe at no extra charge! There’s an extra nightly fee at this hotel but it’s cool because you can use that fee as a credit at the hotel restaurant.Best of all, the hotel is located steps away from the metro, and it’s right in the heart of Korea Town. It felt like a safe area and had so many cool restaurants and attractions right outside the door! 10/10 hotel experience!

2022-05-17We enjoy staying at Curio collection hotels and were looking forward to the Martinique. The historic building is beautiful, especially the staircase. The rooms are decently appointed, although other Curio properties we have stayed at felt more luxurious. It was disappointing to have a mandatory $30 resort charge, but we did our best to spend as much of it at the restaurant downstairs, just be aware that the restaurant is expensive, so the $30 daily credit is not much when ordering breakfast for a family.I was disappointed at the end of our stay to not receive a late checkout. I inquired at midnight the night before and was told that late checkouts have to be requested after 7am. I called at 9am and was told that they could not give me late checkout as it is too late! I was told that you need to request it at 7am or a little but before in order to get it. As a HHonors Gold member, Ive never been denied a late checkout.Anyways, other than that, the stay was pleasant and the location of the hotel was good too.

2022-06-06Front desk staff was very friendly yet professional; check in was easy and quick. The room is a standard size NYC hotel room, so nothing outstanding. However, the beds were just fantastic, the shower amazing, and the noise levels nonexistent. Location is also a great plus. I will be staying here again!

2022-03-01Hotel staff were all very nice! It was super clean and the cleaning staff went above and beyond when we asked for our room to be cleaned. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Shower is HEAVEN! This is my favorite hotel in NYC. The only thing i didn’t like was the new “mandatory” $30 a day pricing that was added because we didn’t use any of the services and it was a waste of $90 and pointless. Also the only other “complaint” is i wish there was later check out available. It’s definitely a bit pricey but book it when the deals are announced!

2022-06-06The hotel is flawless. The check in was fast and easy. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a good location. It has one of the best hotel restraraunts I have ever eaten at. The location is safe and very close to a lot of things. They were very accommodating and brought up an extra blanket and brought our luggage upstairs. Everyone who works there is looking out for you. They do a key check after midnight to make sure you are a guest. Wonderful wonderful hotel. Thank you!!

2022-05-07As a few have mentioned, rooms are big by NYC standards. Conveniently located (albeit super busy at night with all the Korean bars and restaurants around) and thankfully didn’t hear any of it from the 11th floor. The $30 a day resort fee was a bit ridiculous considering what you’re getting and when you’re using it for breakfast, the portions are ridiculously expensive for what you get. Parking is across the street and not affiliated with the hotel (must leave your keys) so you should unload before you go to park your car. The staff was pleasant so it’s a good solid hotel if you’re traveling with a larger group and need something convenient.

2022-06-26Great hotel with great location and great rooms and great everything. Absolutely loved my vacation at this place with my dad. Everything was brilliant except for the parking. Its a bit far and theres a garage right on front and therefore we just parked there it was basically the same money wise.

2022-07-11Great location for touring NYC. Close to subways, Penn Station, Time Square, and Empire State building. Staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are bigger than most others in same price range. Room has a fridge, coffee maker, and safe. Small restaurant and bar downstairs has good food and drinks. $30 daily hotel fee can be used daily for food, drinks, and bike rental. Fee has to be used ech day or it is lost.

2022-05-20Super attentive staff. Clean, spacious rooms. Easy walk to a lot of important locations, Penn Station, Times Square, Broadway theaters, etc. Restaurant was pricey but the food was good. Building has a bunch of scaffolding all over it for cleaning/repairs bit we had no issues with noise. Photo is from the front of the hotel.
