One of the worst place I been to.. Started off with hot and sour soup which was neither hot or sour... Then for the drums of heaven the irony is in the name seemed like it was a week old and they just reheated it.. The entree had no flavor and the chicken was old and rubbery.. Service was ok but I guess the server knows the place is bad when he took back full plates without even asking how things were.
Was told to go pick up food by my family, arrived early. The gentleman who greeted me after saying the takeout order name said I just told her it would take some time, in a rude manner. These guys have absolutely no restaurant hospitality. Theres a reason why this place is sub 3 stars.When the food was ready 35 min later when I looked at the bag there was a long female hair on the bag. That is such a turnoff. No one in the kitchen wears a hair net or beard net while working.Water was spilled on the ground and instead of cleaning it up with urgency they just put a wet floor sign and directed customers to avoid it.Place looked dirty. Definitely could use a surprise health inspection. The cleanliness wasnt there.Eat elsewhere, food is mediocre at best and overpriced. Not a good look for Hicksville. The place needs a major overhaul.
Been there many times. We keep going back. Food is fantastic. Tastes great. Is truly a fusion of Asian cuisine.
I really liked it here. It was quiet and everything was so delicious! I had Tom Yum soup and it was the most flavorful soup I’ve ever had! I love it! The pan fried dry chili fish was amazing! I liked the Hakka chili chicken ok and the eggplant was unforgettable. We got cold cans of soda and everyone was friendly.
The cauliflower manchurian is AMAZING! I have to get this everytime I come here. Sometimes its the only thing I get...and I dont really like cauliflower that much. Seasoning makes a big difference!
I used to love this place for years, with that in mind it is disappointing for what I experienced last night. They are reluctant to bring out any rice that all my dishes come with since I ordered fried rice aswell. When they did bring it out; it was half the normal portion of 1 serving for 1 entree let alone my other entrees which they did not supply for. I didnt care at the time but heres where they will boil your blood. When the check came out we were told theres a 3% extra charge for using a debit card. When I asked to speak to the manager since Ive been coming for years and would like an explanation I was told by the host other restaurants do it too and that the manager was TOO BUSY in the back to attend to its patrons. What more can I say? He was right; there are plenty of other restaurants in the area only a few blocks away where my business Im sure will be a lot more welcome.
Been there 1st time ,Worst food look like everything was already cooked from many Hours ,over prized with 3% on Card + Tax. Never going back there .Though 1 star for Service.

Worse place they serve food which is not according to the temperature. We ordered Singapore noodles they smell like bleach, we had a very bad experience don’t ever recommend this place to anyone. Fried rice were old tasteless too.
Little pricey then others, their portions are smaller but price little higher fir example their soup are half the portion compare to other Chinese restaurants

I’m forced to give this place one star would not recommend this place to any one the food is garbage and the owner needs to attend school on how to or what we call indian style chinese food. close the restaurant until u know how to make proper food. Plus they charge you extra 3% if you use ur credit card if that’s the case don’t take the credit card…robbing people and taking advantage of them with shorty food that i wont even feed my worst enemy.
Ordered take out recently. Entrees are mid-price range but good quantity of food for each entree. Can customize the food spiciness. This probably the best indian chinese food restaurant in the neighborhood and its been in business for quite a long time.Made me wait though 20 minutes past the pickup time though 🙁🙁!
Epic fail. We were so excited to have food here but we so disappointed. We ordered honey crispy chicken as appetizers which came after 30 mins. Then we waited another 25 mins for our entree which was chili garlic noodles and and fried rice. Let me just say I could have cooked better food at home. There was no spice, don’t even know where the garlic flavor was and my rice was definitely undercooked.Would not go back ever again!!
We had an extraordinary time at this spot. We enjoyed the superb ambience and the meals. The staff were very affable. I am glad we ultimately managed to try this restaurant.
Ordered takeout food and they told me 25 minutes. I get to the restaurant and they haven’t started the order and did not tell me. Finally took them 55 minutes to get food and they did even throw in a appetizer or give any discount. Worker blamed the weekend rush but there was no one in the restaurant. I think they forgot my order.. terrible experience.
Food was terrible, Hot and sour soup was thick and nasty seemed as though was made days ago and was just warmed up. Told the waitresses about the soup she ignored the comment and said maybe you dont like taste. Other food was also terrible. Worst dining experience in a long time.
Ridiculous Service and Most terrible food that caused food poisoning the next day. I went with my friends last night(April 16) to Masala Wok. Being totally aware that they close at 10pm. We called to confirm if you can take us in- upon confirmation and placing order in advance over phone- we reached and sat there. For the entire time we were sitting, the manager kept us giving looks as if we are holding him from closing the place for the day. They did not serve us water. Kept on checking so that we finish food quickly. And most importantly, the food was so bad as if it has been siting since morning or day before. The manager was rude and had no clue about customer service. If its your closing time, do not take people in and if you do- you better serve them well. Never returning back !!
Do not order from this place. I ordered from them on Valentine’s Day. Waited over 2.5 hours for a delivery. They kept telling me 10 min my order would come. Didn’t even show up. When i tried to call the restaurant no one picked up. Never had such a terrible experience. What a joke !!!!
The wait was very very long. The food was not bad. The waiters were nice but the wait was over an hour just for the food. They said they got a new chef but still I was trying to get home at a certain time but that didnt work out as I had planned. They kept saying the food will be ready but it never was until super late. Really had high expectation for this place and was led down.
We went with a large 10+ party but had a long 1 hour+ wait. Everyone loved the food, but they got our order wrong once and our bill wrong twice. Come for the food.

I’ve been going here for years, and have never had a poor experience UNTIL last night. It hurts me to write this, but the service was terrible. First, we waited 25-30 min just for someone to acknowledge us and take our order, and that was only after we had requested that a waiter be sent. Second, the waitress said “Order everything at one time and it’ll come quicker, since you don’t have patience.” Third, our food FINALLY come an HOUR after we ordered it, but we still hadn’t gotten plates or utensils. I loved this restaurant and the food was good as always, but service will keep me from going back for a while.
The owner of this place needs to pay attention if he has opened a restaurant to be operated by non chalant workers.Servers there are total clueless, you order something they gave you something else and forget about take out. Most of the times half of the order is not there.The place needs over haul if they have to survive. We can understand COVID is there but that is not an excuse for bad cooked food and bad service.
Masala wok food is not good any more , it used to be. Yesterday i placed the take out order on the phone and went to pick up the food. I paid the food and host asked me to wait for few minutes and asked me if i need water or some thing, a very nice gesture on her side. I picked the food and went home to share with my family and surprised to see the how the food quality goes down. Drums of haven tasteless , no true taste of the dish, chicken taste like a rubber. Same thing is for dry chilli chicken and chicken manchurian, all taste bland. Only eggplant with garlic sauce and chicken noodle taste little better. I think they changed the chef or may be the chef on leave. Not a good experience , totally waste of money. We garbage the food.
Finally found a great Thai place. And the indian fusion is excellent. Also owner is such a great guy. Will be going back many times.
If I can give them 0 stars I would, I ordered for my mom’s bday dinner and every dish I ordered was either over cooked or had no flavor. It’s a shame because they use to good, owner needs to pay more attention !!!! Will never order again. Complete disappointment
We have been going to this place for years but now the staff is really rude. Ordered hot and sour soup without tofu and they brought it with tofu. Called the waiter and they took it back to change it without apologizing. Brought back back the same bowl with no veggies and half a bowl this time. Upon complaining they said this is how we serve( been having their food for years so we know). This time waiter got angry and took our soups back and just brought our main course. Owner needs to pay attention. His staff is ruining his business. We used to go to this place every week but now once in three months.

Decent Indian-Chinese food in a clean setting with pleasant service. The drier, fried foods were much better than the foods with gravy. The dry Hakka chili chicken and fried chili garlic shrimp were delicious; I would come back to eat these alone! My family enjoyed the chili garlic noodles as well, as they were quite spicy and flavorful. There were two dessert options, strawberry ice cream and ras malai, the latter of which was quite good. Overall a great experience, so well likely be back for more.
One of the worst experiences I ever witnessed. So bad that we left mid dinner. The service was slow, the food was cold and when we sent the cauliflower manchurian back. Not even a simple apology. They brought us a new one which tasted like a reheated batch because it wasn’t crispy at all. It took us an hour to get our soups and appetizers. Poorly cooked chicken in soup. The flavor didn’t improve even on getting the food changed. Lamb smelled bad on multiple visits. Quality of food has seriously deteriorated over time. The staff was nice and friendly and the service is not too bad.
Service was quite bad. Staff was quite inattentive, brought the wrong soup first then changed it and brought one that was not cooked, raw cut veggies that were still hard were floating in sweet corn soup. Go figure. Then comes the main course, and then the appetizers (in that order) and as the meal is about to finish they remembered I had asked for a diet Coke too, so that came just a minute before the check arrived. Soup was bad, appetizer super oily, and main course was ok if you seasoned it else it was bland. Would never go back.
Very good service. Staff really cares. Order time and food takes some time to be made. The Chilli Chicken dry isnt that great however the noodles are very good. Can I go wrong with how much effort to go through to satisfy the customer however the food is hit-and-miss.
Do NOT go there. Bland is an understatement. Soup, two different kinds -tasteless! Fried Rice - not properly cooked AND no flavor. Chili Garlic Chicken - Neither flavor or pieces of chili or Garlic - tasteless. Lamb - not properly cooked. Had to throw all the food. Called the Wok told him everything in detail and someone named Jawad offered a discount!?! What? Did you not hear me? Never going there, ever.
I adore this place! They give first-cleass dishes, their menu is rich, The chef in that restaurant is a real pro, I like a lot trying all their dishes. The food is consistently fresh and tasty, the attitude towards the visitors is efficient. I go often to this restaurant and I not even once was discontended. I recommend it with no hesitation.
Our online order never reached them... atleast thats what the restaurant said. We waited for about 45 minutes for them to make the food. The food was also not so good. We had our spice level mentioned for each of the 7 items we ordered. But none of them were taken care either. Everything had the similar spice level.
Worst food ever 🤮 And they said there food is halal but after reading these reviews I know it’s not that’s very bad of them. There food was cold and expired had to go to the urgent care because of there bad food. They need to shut down
Excellent Asian Fusion cuisine. Super friendly staff. Owner; if he is in, makes his rounds to welcome guest personally. Favorites: the shrimp and lamb dishes . . . Chili Shrimp or Lamb, Ginger Shrimp w/Basil, etc. Lunch Specials are great deals, and a must if you wish to try their offerings for the first time, or if you are on a budget. The Big Miss: the Pad Thai . . . It is essentially spaghetti with ketchup and extra vinegar. Take a pass on that dish, try the rest. You wont be disappointed.

A week ago, i ordered garlic chilli fried rice with ckn and lamb szechuan( large tray fried rice and small tray lamb). When i opened the tray infront of my guests, i realized there is no egg in the fried rice and no ckn. I am only giving 2 stars because the lamb item was good. I was very disappointed with the fried rice. When i called the store, they said they are too busy and call back another day. I am sorry if the 200 and change dollar food that i bought from ur restaurant wasnt good enough for you to provide some customer service. Next time, i will go somewhere else who have the time to get my order right at the 1st time, if not atleast have the decency to apologize!
Im so glad we stopped here for lunch. I havent had good Indo Chinese in years (since I moved away from Jackson Heights). All our food was delicious, the staff were very friendly, the decor was pretty cool (apparently they are remodeling, or recently did). My only regret is that I dont live closer so I can go back more often.
I was at this restaurant about a month ago on a Sunday night. The place was empty when my family and I arrived and there was nobody there to greet us. I literally had to walk into the kitchen to get someones attention to be seated. The restaurant that night was absolutely FREEZING, we switched tables twice to sit closer to where there was heat and it still wasnt sufficient (I had to keep my jacket on). My sister who goes to this restaurant often (the one who recommended it to us) ordered her soup with broccoli (an add-on) but was told it could not be added. When my sister told the waiter that she always orders it with broccoli, the waiter said hell see what he could do rather rudely. Our food was mediocre at best: un-flavorful with small portions. The staff was very unenthusiastic- we had to ask for sauces and other miscellaneous items that shouldve already been at the table. One of the waitresses was even wearing her fleece jacket while she served us which I thought was unprofessional and screams to the management that the place NEEDS heat! I think one reason why the service is poor is b/c they automatically take out a tip from your bill. My sister continues to come to this restaurant but based on my experience it was my first and last trip!
Went here for Christmas dinner with my family. The service was abhorrent and was only outdone by the cold and soggy food. They need to improve everything. The food came out cold and after telling the waiter he didnt even apologize and then proceeded to microwave it and make it inedible. Will not be returning here ever again. If I could give this place negative stars I would.
I have to say that the food is very good but its not enough for us to forgive their many other flaws. Food is terribly overpriced and portions are extremely small. I dont mind paying good money for good food but I need to feel as if I received a fair portion. $5 for a bowl of Tom Yam soup that was half full and ridiculously spicy (which I dont mind but it was the spiciest Tom Yam I have ever eaten) Not to mention that they were out of the Tom Kha. Manchurian Cauliflower is delicious but when you put a 1/4 of a small head of cauliflower as a portion and charge $9.00 for it (and we had 2 orders and they were clearly inconsistent in portion size), then I have a problem with that. I ordered a $10 bowl of Masala Rice which states on the menu choice of vegetable. I ordered it stating I dont care what vegetables they use I just dont want peas, carrots or green peppers. It came out with red onions and scallions (maybe I should have been more specific in what I wanted in it as opposed to what I didnt want in it). The chicken Penang Curry was delicious but was charged $13 for a small bowl that maybe had one small half chicken breast in it and the green peppers I had not asked for in my rice (I guess I should have been more specific). The only time I saw our waiter was when he dropped off our menus (which me and my friend had two different menus that didnt even have the same items on it) and when he took our order and then to drop off the check (someone else dropped our food and filled our water glasses). He was a bit surly and when I asked him about the veggies in the Masala Rice he was rather matter-of-fact about it and not very apologetic. My recommendation would be to skip it altogether. The place used to be packed but after the last two visits there they have only had 1 other table then ours. I guess the reputation of horrible service, over-priced and skimpy portions is catching up with them.

My Family loves coming here. My husband insists we go to Masala Wok. He loves the Hakka Noodles, chicken fried rice and sweet corn soup. Owner is very nice and will make it a point to make sure all is tasty with food. It is! My husband tried the Vegetarian Manchurian last time, said it was delicious. I like Gobi Manchurian, also like that the restaurant has chili paneer, pepper chicken, so delicious. Man chow soup is really good as well.Must visit delicious food restaurant.
Not Halal! I came across this restaurant with the Google search of Halal food near me and after visiting the restaurant and seeing the ambience and the owner, I realized the restaurant is not Halal. However, my rating is not because the restaurant is not Halal. It is because of the way overpriced menu and deceptive tactics by the management. I found the food itself to be above average, but totally not worth the high prices, unprofessional management, and their shady tactics. I wanted an item whose price was not listed on the menu. The management gave me three different exorbitant rates.
The closest to Indian Chinese food one can get here. If you want the Indian Chinese Chowmein taste, their Hakka noodles get you close and you can mix it up with vegetarian manchurian to get the Indian Chinese food taste.. Good experience!

Worst Indian Chinese food I have ever had. I bought 2 veg Manchurian with gravy, 2 Veg fried rice and 2 Singapore style veg noodles. The Manchurian with gravy had no taste. The gravy was watered down. The smell was not right. And how do you mess up veg fried rice? What we got was undercooked brown rice with garlic and onions. Where is the vegetables? And same goes with Singapore style veg noodle. Bland, no taste and absolutely no vegetables. THE WORS PART WAS THAT THIS WAS DINNER FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY ON SATURDAY NIGHT. I HAD TO GO TO LOCAL TACO BELL TO REPLACE THIS DISGUSTING FOOD. WASTE OF $ AND TIME. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.
Nice cozy and warm place, I like going there once in a while food is fuison Chinese Indian kind ... Chilli chicken and veggies Manchurian is good. Soups are okey. I like the service and parking is behind it so dont go crazy looking for parking on 107..

Lunch special is deff worth it. FOR 9$ I normally get chicken Manchow Soup with Hakka Chilly Chicken with white rice. If you like sick tell them to add green chillies and it will take the taste to a whole new level and you will always come back for more. Also add vinegar to the rice, it gives a special kick and acidity u need.
I ordered Tom Yam Soup it was too salty .. then I ordered Country Style Vegetable and It made the whole table stink. I sent it back .. never going there again.But my friends swear that its good food place.. May be it wasnt my lucky day

There was no flavor at all to this food. wasnt really that spicy I asked for extra spicy. I wouldnt recommend this place

When I least the order for delivery they told me it would take 35 to 40 minutes and it has been more than an hour and they still havent delivered the food yet and when I called him he said to give the driver one minute which was five minutes ago and he still is not here.

2022-04-03First time here and it was delicious! Amazing menu and authentic dishes. I absolutely loved Spicy Lemon Coriander Soup, the vegetable manchurian and Chili Paneer. So delicious and the staff were so kind. Definitely going back. Oh and the spring rolls are so fresh! 5 stars!

2022-03-09TERRIBLE!!! Waited over 45 mins for 3 chicken entrees and a hot and soup veggie soup. The soup was terrible with only 4 shreds of carrots!!! The man told me due to high pricing we’re only giving ONE sauce. Super weird. The chicken broccoli had no sauce. Super bland. I paid $65 for waiting and terrible food. Super disappointed!!!!! Also I ended up throwing out all the food I got. I should’ve asked for a refund.

2020-05-09We ordered (delivery) Hot and Sour Soup, Chili Garlic Shrimp Fry, Chili Garlic Fried Rice and some Chicken Manchurian. The soup really flavorful. We added the xtra pepper - just for an added kick. The food was really good but we added a lot more salt to bring out the best in it lol. Good food, and packaged well too. Well definitely be ordering again soon.

2022-04-06Tried this place out while shopping in hicksville and whoever served us got very defensive when i asked if the food was Zabiha Halal and im pretty sure he didnt know so he kept saying hes muslim and that everything is halal and avoiding my question lol anyways… i got prawns and my friend got chicken, both were very mediocre in flavor. However, the chicken smelled funky.. almost as if its old idk but yeah never going back

2021-12-13Enjoyed the food. Good mix of chicken, beef and veggies. The chilli shrimp was really flavorful and goes well with fried rice. They can customize the level of heat, depending on your preference of spices.

2021-12-26I placed an order on my Uber eats. At 6 pm. Order was still in process for an hour and 10 mins! It had never left their restaurant ! So after waiting so long and seemed the order never took place I canceled it, naturally. I wake up in the morning to my email and get a notification that the restaurant still charged me for the food even though I had never received it!! They took the tip and everything but nothing was sent to me. I do enjoy some fav dishes, food isn’t all that great but why would you charge me for food that never existed ?

2018-12-31Value for price, Dry Chicken appetizer was not up to mark though I liked Schezwan fried rice. Ask to be less oily if you visit. Overall Good music and Ambience.
