Angel Tovar is always on point. I have a homeowners policy, 3 cars insured and life insurance under State Farm. My rates are great and the coverage is perfect. Insurance can be tricky sometimes but Angel took the time go through all insurance policies thoroughly. If i ever need anything, he is always one call or email away. Would recommend Angel to everyone!
I recently had a great experience Lesly Medina. She helped me resolve an issue I had with my policy. I will definitely continue to stay with State Farm, Roth Agency because of their customer service.
As a 35-year customer of Roth State Farm, I must say they are great until you actually need them. At that point, they put very little effort in helping you through the claims process or acting as your advocate when there is an issue. Furthermore, the owner (Matthew, who took over the agency from his mom Helen many years ago) is apparently too important to waste his time helping you or answering questions about your claim. Roth is a huge disappointment and Im not even sure why I need a local agent when Im not getting any real service from them. State Farm should sell insurance directly to consumers without requiring an agent, especially when they have agents like Roth representing them.
I moved my policies from Allstate to State Farm and ever since had such a great experience speaking with Cassandra. She answers all of my questions and has given me ways to lower my premium. Very Professional office, I made a great choice by switching to State Farm.
I was able to be helped thanks to Victor Caligiuri. He took the time to help me save money on my insurance especially in this time when we need it the most. Among all this craziness, I’m glad to know that State Farm has people who are willing to do their best to help find a plan that best suits our needs and wants, fitting in our budgets.
Angel Tovar is my go to person for anything in this place. He is a great asset to the company!! Every question and anything I need help with any of the 5 vehicles I have insured with them he is always there to help and goes above and beyond for his customers! This place has a very friendly environment, they always answer the phone and wont make you wait. Check them out for all your insurance needs you wont be disappointed!!!!

This was my first experience with State Farm, and it will also be my last. I had the complete displeasure of talking to a female “manager” named Melenie Ortega. Melenie began, and ended the conversation with a sarcastic and condescending tone; generally not the approach of you are looking to recruit and retain clients. Secondly, when I advised her I would no longer be using State Farm, she rudely and abruptly ended the conversation, when a some simple customer service tactics and a good attitude could have probably helped keep me as a customer. Sadly, I blame the management who oversees Melenie for allowing her to drive away good business. If they had done their due diligence and properly screened their new hires, they would have found that Melenie has a long history of poor customer service through her lengthy 11 month career as a health enthusiast, or her 1 and a half year gig as a Bank teller. Unfortunately, her bachelors degree in criminology will not go to any good use serving anyone besides herself, if she does not learn the basics of respect and communication. Stay far away from this place. The management and workers here are toxic and the blind lead the blind. Take your money elsewhere! Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Ive been a cusomter of the MR Nanuet office from the time I got my drivers license.. Which has only been a few years... okay, maybe decades but whos counting...Anyway, Its been a great place to work with and Angel Tovars been my point person for quite some time now. Ive insured quite a few vehicles over that time and hes been a tremedous help with all these transactions as well as with providing various quotes and general advice. EDIT: I’ve since been in contact with Luke, the office manager who has kept all his promises of follow up and researching a resolution. To date he has obtained my refund and had my overdraft fees reimbursed. I should see that within the normal 10 business days.I’m glad he kept his word but still sour about why this all happened.—————————————I’ve been with this agency as a customer for over 6 years. Always paid faithfully. Over the past 2 years my premium has gotten higher and higher. The girls on the phones have gotten more and more careless by not sending replacement or updated cards on time until I call in asking for them.I finally transferred to another insurance carrier who submitted a cancellation request to Matthew Roth’s office Nanuet (confirmed received) a month ago. THEY NEVER SUBMITTED THE CANCELLATION!! I just got an overdraft notice from my bank bc this unplanned charge was taken. When I called the office I was told they never received my cancellation. So I went in. Surprise! My cancellation request was there the whole time but of course no one can do anything about it. So now I’m out $235 this month bc of their negligence. They just keep telling me “I’m sorry, we have it submitted now, though” and that I have to wait up to 2 weeks for a refund! WTH?!?! Do not go here. Go anywhere but here.
After being offered a good rate and agreed to additional policies to help make it affordable for me; they canceled my policy after two months and only left me with the option of scrambling for a new insurance company or try to transition me to a more expensive one.They don’t know what they are doing so don’t bother with this agency!I want my money back.

Extremely salesy and sleazy... definitely not the once proud business started by his mother! Thrives on churn by cancelling coverage just to resign up in a new (probably more commission) packet. I found progressive to be much more personable and more in the interests of the customer instead of lining their profits.Would never recommend this place and from many I have spoken to around the area. Matthew Roth is uniformly not a nice person and only cares about the $$ he can SCAM outta the elderly sector of this great county... an embarrassment of business practices and state farm as an entity...AVOIDDDDD

After 25 years (+) as a customer of State Farm (Nanuet NY) the same agency that Mr.Roth Mother started years ago, my insurance was canceled in my new car. 2022-07-13If I could leave zero stars I would. I’m just wanting future consumers - do NOT waste your time with this place!! They are very fraudulent. We had questionable charges on our account and after proving they were fraudulent charges the company has yet to refund us our money. Yaribel is terrible to work with. She added renters insurance to our car insurance account which we never asked for because we own our home so why would we need renters insurance. Despite proving that they were fraudulent charges the company has refused to refund us money. We have contacted headquarters but WARNING WARNING WARNING don’t waste your time with them!! I’m trying to save you the headache. We moved on immediately to another car insurance company. They have terrible customer service. No one ever returns emails or phone calls.

2021-09-08Not impressed. I spoke with self proclaimed “right hand man” of Mathew Roth before starting a temporary rental insurance plan to make sure that my out of state homeowners wasn’t affected. There was supposed to be no address change, no changes to my primary residence, easy payments added to current plan, and nothing that would affect my most important asset, my home. In the following months i have dealt with address changes, repeated attempts to change my address back to my rental property even after having to contact 1-800 to fix things myself. I have also dealt with “nonpayment issues” because they didn’t process the payment to the card that is on file and has been used for years with statefarm. I had to call 1-800 to fix that myself as well. Policy was supposed to be canceled, it was requested over the phone and in writing, but i still had repeated calls to “confirm” cancelation, before it could be processed. Tried to talk to Matthew Roth to “confirm cancelation” and to let him know that that all of this is going on and I was told within 20 seconds of the conversation, in a loud, bold voice that he “ doesn’t care about this conversation”. These repeated mistakes made by his agency could have affected my primary residence coverage and my credit but i guess that doesn’t even merit an “i’m sorry to hear that, i’ll try to fix this so it doesn’t happen to anyone else”. I was lucky that i fixed things in time and nothing happened, but I’m sharing this for people who might not be so lucky, so you can know what you’re getting into.
