Havent mattress shopped in about 20 years, and I was a little nervous about such a big decision - but I had a great experience at the New Hartford store with Faruk! He has a no-pressure style, and was very patient as I flopped back & forth a zillion times between the 2 mattresses I liked. He was very knowledgeable, not only about mattresses, but about sleep hygiene in general (as I had mentioned insomnia). He made a good point about not getting into bed too early before youre actually tired... He said - you wouldnt sit at the dinner table and wait until youre hungry. Very true. Seems like a good practice to train your body to know that when you get into bed - its time to sleep (not watch TV or read or scroll through FB). He also laughed at my dumb jokes. Points! Looking forward to my purple mattress being delivered in a few days. I love that I have 100 day, risk-free trial (if you want that deal - you have to buy the purple mattress protector too. I would have bought a mattress protector anyway - so no problem!). Thanks, Faruk! :)

Faruk and nick were GREAT! they both were very knowledgeable about all the mattress and products they had. faruk didn’t try to push any specific mattress but rather asked about my specific wants/needs and gave me all the information on them and had me try everything out more than once to make sure i would be happy with my purchase! he was very patient and great to work with, i am very happy with my purchase and can’t wait to sleep on my bed!
I’m not the type of person who likes to shop around before I buy something, which is very unfortunate for me because I’m very picky when it comes to most things, mattress especially. Dreading going mattress shopping, I reluctantly headed out with my wife and we first stopped at Metro Mattress. The salesman showed us the most expensive bed first for $12,000. Didn’t even ask us anything initially. Just boom, right to what would most likely give him the most commission I would assume. After trying a handful of uncomfortable beds, we left, and headed to Mattress Express, where we were greeted with a smile by Faruk, the store manager. He asked us what we were looking for, what we’ve seen, and what we were looking to spend, and brought us immediately to the most perfect mattress in our price range. It turned out to be the one that we purchased, too. All the while, we made great conversation and were able to make our purchase. Keep in mind I usually dread this process, but Faruk just made it so easy for us with his knowledge and customer service. Such a seamless mattress buying experience! I would definitely recommend this store to those seeking a new bed.

I just bought an adjustable bed withthe adjustable base. The salesman Fauruk, was so helpful and knowledgeable, that we ended up buying 2. No pressure from Fauruk either. His personality was beyond great!! Excellent salesman, and I would highly recommend him and mattress express!
My husband and I just moved into a new home and one of our first purchases that we wanted to make was a new bed for ourselves and upgrade our 3 year old into a big boy bed. We went in and worked with Faruk who helped us easily select a great full size bed for our son and then assessed our needs for our own bed. We determined that both my husband and I enjoy the same level of firmness and selected a bed that felt perfect for us with the adjustable base (god I wish I had that base when I was pregnant!!!). We then tried out pillows specifically for side sleepers and at that point I was so comfortable I could have taken a nap right at the store!! The service was excellent, the delivery and setup was quick and painless and 2 weeks into the new beds/pillows we are all sleeping better than ever!! Thanks Faruk!!
My husband and I have been talking about a bed purchase for quite some time. A few weeks ago, we went in look for something specific... or so we thought we did. We we made it to Mattress Express, and Faruk Lidan not only showed us what we wanted, but also showed us options in our price point. We didnt buy that day, we wanted to shop our options. But after a few weeks we went back. He remembered us and what we were looking for. Faruk wanted us to walk out happy. On the day we ordered, he said it may be a few weeks. But Faruk went out of his way and we had the bed set up and delivered within the week. We couldnt be happier with the excellent customer service.

We had a very pleasant experience at Mattress Express in New Hartford this morning. The store manager, Faruk, was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He was also very COVID-conscious: utilizing a mask and hand sanitizer, using disinfectant spray and protective coverings on the beds, etc. This was very important to us! We recently purchased a mattress for our son’s bed. Faruk was knowledgeable, professional and very pleasant to deal with. When we got the mattress home and unpackaged it we found there was a defect with it. We contacted him, and he immediately ordered us a new one. He followed up every few days to make sure that we received a replacement and were satisfied. The mattress ended up being just what my son wanted and the customer service was exceptional. Would do business again here
Faruk helped us out a ton. We exchanged our original purchase after about 25 days of sleeping on it for a much more suitable option. Faruk is very knowledgeable and a great salesman. Update: originally bought a Posh & Lavish adjustable bed & had a sudden financial hard ship, could not afford the bed and called to cancel, was told by salesman that sold it to us that we couldn’t cancel and it was a “special order bed” (he never told us that when buying it). I got in contact with the VP Jon and he personally met me at the New Hartford location from Watertown. He showed me beds that were in our price range and worked with us to get the previous loan cancelled. We went with a king sleep number bed and 2 posh and lavish pillows. He also threw in king sized adjustable bed sheet set for us because of the trouble.

We just moved in from out of town and we’re looking for mattresses. We shopped at a few other stores and they were a little too pricy for a mattress. We came here and got 2 nice queen sized memory foam mattress that are pretty high quality for way cheaper then anywhere else. Paul helped us as well as Amel. Both were super helpful and didn’t get frustrated by my mothers stubbornness or confusion. Very nice people and a nice clean store!

Went to the New Hartford Matress Express and Worked with Paul MIchael got a good deal now just waiting for Delivery and Set up but seems like a good guy knows what he’s doing unfortunately they dropped the ball twice they never called before delivering the bed and the delivery guy was trying to impersonate the sales guy from the store then they called me to say they were at my house even though no one called to confirm someone would be there gave them second chance 2 delivery date they said they would be there between 11:30 and 12:30 turns out after I went to the store at around 2 pm to find out where the bed is because it wasn’t delivered I was told that I was scheduled for delivery between 3pm and 4 pm which wouldn’t be a big deal but I took time off work and you told me a different time when you called to confirm time I went to the store to complain and Paul was very cool and apologetic however the Vice President of the company and the owner just made excuses on top of that the owner basically called my girlfriend a lier but I have proof of what happened then the owner proceeds to ask me about my religion and I’m sorry that has nothing to do with what we are talking about and no ones business but my own then proceeds to call me nuts and threaten to call the cops on me if I didn’t leave his store which I did but not before I canceled my order I understand mistakes happen but learn from them don’t let it happen again and it did how many chances do you give someone however the only good thing out of this is Paul who was very cool about it and understood and apologized but as for the rest of the company for get it!!! Save yourself time and aggravation!!!!

2022-06-15Great Experience! Set us up with an awesome bed. Nick C was super knowledgeable about all of the beds and what would match our needs. They have a great selection of high-end beds and multiple options for bases, pillows, sheets, mattress covers, and everything bed related. Overall my family and I had a very enjoyable experience and will be sure to come back for all of our sleepwear needs.

2022-05-27After visiting several mattress shops I went with mattress express. Faruk is a rock star employee who is knowledgeable about his product. He helped guide me through the process and made this as painless as possible. He deserves the promotion that he may get soon. Why only 4 stars? Bed wasnt in stock, neither was the headboard brackets. Had to wait a bit. The bed is high quality but I havent found the perfect settings yet. The experience was very good.

2022-01-21Mattress Express was the first and only store I went to. No pressure sale tactics, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, clean ---- that was my experience in the New Hartford store. After testing 2 to 3 mattresses, I bought a mattress and just received it the other day. Its great quality and at a great value. I feel the difference already when I wake up in the morning. Faruk, you are A-One!!! Thank you!!!
