Went in with a budget and spent a bit more, than expected… however it was worth it. Jerome was a rock star and super helpful and patient with us and our repetitive questions. Can’t complain about any of the service and support here. 10/10 would recommend.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Bay Ridge location and Jerome is a true professional. Jerome was patient, caring, understanding and so knowledgeable and yet not pushy either. He took the time to get to know what we were looking for in a mattress that would help with some health problems and would last us more than 2-3 years. He explained everything to us and was able to get us next day delivery! We are so excited and left feeling we spent our money wisely. Looking forward to tomorrow where we will spend our first night in our purchase.
Tatyana was so much fun to work with - and super knowledgeable and responsive. We really felt she wanted to make sure we got the right mattress; we never felt pressured to make a purchase. We had gone into the store somewhat apprehensive, and thinking of the whole thing as an unpleasant chore. Tatyana made the process very easy. Excellent experience from the minute we walked into the store until we got our mattress delivered! Jerome greeted us right when we walked in and spent a lot of time with us helping to figure out what type of mattress we needed. He was so knowledgeable and helpful that we felt really secure in making our selection.It is kind of frightening to buy a big ticket item like a mattress that you plan on using every day for many years. You dont want to make a mistake or feel like you made a dumb decision. It never felt like Jerome was trying to upsell us or just make a sale. He walked us through all the options and patiently answered all of our many questions. It was great and were so happy with our purchase!The delivery service is also wonderful. The delivery team (Billy & Raoul) were so kind, efficient and helpful! It was totally worth the extra cost to have them haul everything up the stairs, set it up and get rid of the old mattress.Overall, we had a fantastic experience and our new bed is awesome!

Ended up getting a hybrid mattress and its getting delivered in 3 days! So glad I read the reviews and used this location! Cant wait to get a good night sleep!

Absolutely one of the best shopping experiences. The salesman was so informative and so helpful he made making my decision so easy. Very friendly and courteous staff. Due a flooding we had at our place we urgently needed a new mattress and decided to stop by. From the moment we arrived we were greeted Jerome. He was very friendly and really listened to our needs. We did a sleep assessment in each mattress and saw what best fit our needs. We decided to go with the Tempur pedic, unfortunately it would take weeks to arrive at our new apartment. Jerome is phenomenal and helped me pick a Tempurpedic. Tatyana is very helpful too - but there is one girl, I was told she is new, who is awful. When i asked her to add an apt number to my delivery address she hardly knew how, AND she was supposed to call me to tell me that my mattress was delayed, and she never did. Girl why they paying you??? Anyway, if you go in there, Jerome is your guy

I walked in, and Rob took great care of me from our conversations to showing me the proper forms of sleeping and alignments when picking out a mattress and pillow.I had chosen the Nectar mattress, and working with Rob was pleasurable and no hassle at all. Got me the A+ package, with adjustable bed frame all for a great price!
Jerome was very patient with us. We were there for 2.5 hrs. We were there with a preconceived notion of wanting a certain type of mattress. Jerome had us lay on three beds and had us give feedback on each bed to determine what we needed. From there we were shown the different options. Very informative and friendly. Can’t wait to try out the new bed and adjustable frame.

There is only one person that knew what to do when purchasing the mattress. I arrived to buy the mattress and the people there did not know what they were doing. I had to get in touch with the salesman i spoke to the prior day via phone because he wasnt there and put him on the line to talk those associates. It all seemed chaotic and i left with a very bad feeling.
Had a very positive experience Jackie our sales rep was excellent she explained everything in detail, never pressured us into anything spent a lot of time showing us a variety of mattresses. Made my husband and I feel very safe with social distancing.
I walked into mattress firm as a first time mattess buyer and Jerome Wold helped me and my mother alot. I was new to everything and he took his time and patience to help me find the best fitted one for me. Couldn’t have picked a better store or worker for today.
I havent received my mattress yet, so this review is solely on the customer service I received at the Bay Ridge location in Brooklyn, NY. The store itself is fairly large with lots of options to try out. I went in on a Monday afternoon and was immediately offered assistance by Daniel Corona. Super nice and patient guy. He listened to my issues with my current bed, asked the right questions, and began to suggest a few different types of mattresses that might help me. Hes knowledgeable with the products so he gave me good input on what might work and I even got to try what might not work so that I can experience the differences between the two. After more than an hour, I told him I wasnt ready to commit and wanted to think about it. There was no pressure to buy, but he gave me his information just in case. I went back the next day, still undecided but wanted to try out the mattresses again. Dan was very accommodating and I got to lay on any mattress I wanted for as long as I wanted...long story short, two hours later, I bought a mattress and base that I really liked. Not once was I rushed into deciding or committing to anything. Buying a bed is a big deal, and a big investment. No one should feel rushed or pressured. None of this happened to me so I would recommend asking for Dan if you go to the Bay Ridge store.
Daniel Corona was great. He took his time with my daughter who tried every mattress in the store. He was great and explained all the differences in all the products. We spent quite a bit of time with him. I even bought myself a new mattress as well as my daughter. The deals were excellent and deferred payment is great with NO interest and a good amount of time to pay. Thank you Daniel you were great.
Daniel was very knowledgeable about how to fit us with the right mattress. We are a couple who want different things in sleep comfort. He listened to both needs and took time to show the various options. They have an excellent range of options. We left with a great mattress perfect for us.

I went to this location looking for a mattress, but not exactly knowing what I was looking for. Jerome helped me find my perfect bed at a good price. The bed had everything I could ask for and then some. Jerome was very kind, helpful and funny. This location has a lot of mattress varieties and is very clean. Very professional, open and friendly store to find a bed of your dreams.

We needed to replace a four year old mattress from another vendor that had been nothing but headaches from day one. Jerome was extremely thorough & helpful. He was able to help us find an adjustable base that would fit within my existing bed frame (I didnt know that was even an option) and ease my back pain while still allowing us to utilize the stores existing sale. Jerome was very patient with me & my family. Shopping with a special needs child can be a nightmare, but Jerome took his time with us and was great with my daughter. He sent us home to take measurements & make sure that the slats could be removed from my bed frame. There was never any pressure to buy, which would have turned me off.Unfortunately, we had some issues with delivery, which is why my rating loses a star. (This was not a reflection of or the store or Jerome) The delivery men sent from the warehouse did not want to deliver our adjustable frame. The delivery men told me that they did not have a 3rd man & were therefore unable to deliver the adjustable base. They then informed the warehouse that the base would not fit into our building, which was a lie. Apparently we were not only customers who had issues with those particular delivery men on that day.Jerome went above & beyond to make things right. He spoke to the warehouse & rescheduled our delivery. Jerome even threw in a couple of pillows for our troubles. The second set of delivery men were excellent. They were also only two men but had no trouble at all bringing the frame into our building. The second set of delivery men were both professional & courteous. We are very happy with our new mattress & adjustable frame.
Buying our first grown up bed at 40 years old could be a bit intimidating. As soon as we walked into the store we were greeted by the manager, Jerome. We spent a good (and quick) hour there, at least, learning all about different mattresses & frames. Never once did we feel pressured or like we were being forced into a sale. Jerome was personable, easy to talk to and incredibly knowledgeable. We left confident in the info we received and later confirmed our purchase. We came in here to exchange one of our existing mattresses and to buy a new one and the salesman Joseph was extremely helpful and patient with us because we asked many questions and he was patient and determined to get us the correct finance even after the system declined it the first couple of times. Just know that when you come to buy a mattress here, you will get great customer service, especially if you shop with Joseph!
Manager Jerome walked us through the difference of all the mattresses. His hospitality and knowledge helped us tremendously which in turn helped us decide on what was best for our needs. Went to the store and spoke to Alex, in the beginning he was helpful, but when we got to sit down to talk about the price things changed a little. I was told to leave a good review for an extra discount. Which at the time I did since the experience that far was okay. After looking at his system he gave me a price that seems like it was a great discount, I asked for a printed quote because i wanted to do my own research and check reviews on the mattress at home. After this he got extremely pushy and loud. He started trying to convince me that this was the best price and if I wanted to research to do it there and in front of him. When I stood my ground and told him that I would return once I did my research he just got plain rude. I asked for the final price since he wouldnt give me a quote, he said you are not ready to buy, come back when you are ready to which i responded I am ready but i wanted the final price, he said eight hundred I asked if that was 800 even and he looked at his computer and gave me a 831 price. Without being rude like he was I left the store and did some research at home. I found the mattress online for a little over 100 dollars less with free shipping and had a more pleasant experience. It is almost like he was just trying to make the sale knowing you could get it cheaper online. I am just writing this review to help people when they are shopping for a new mattress like I was.
First off, I wanna start by saying AMAZING EXPERIENCE.Moved into a new apartment, left many items behind like my old beds. Thought I could survive on air mattress. Six weeks of mind blowing back pain, I walk into Mattress Firm, meet Jerome and the rest is history.Jerome worked with me for 2 hours, answered all my questions and concerns and never made me feel like I was wasting his time. By the end if my visit, I knew I had made a very wise investment.My wife and I have had the new Mattress Firm Mattress and stand, up and running, last night was our 3rd night in them. I apologize, but do not have the words to describe properly the difference between any mattress weve ever slept on and the mattress we received from Mattress Firm. You have to truly experience it. I can say Ive never felt anything quite so comfortable. Great experience at Mattress Firm 8615 4th ave Brooklyn location. Jerome handled everything with professionalism. He is very knowledgeable as well as patient (in terms of wating for the customer to make a decision). This was very important to me because I didn’t feel pressured to decide on the mattress I wante to buy. I definitely recommend everyone who is in the market to purchase a mattress to go in this location and talk to Jerome.
I haven’t received my order yet, but I’m sure the process will be smooth and there won’t be any issues. I’m giving five stars simply because of Reginald; one of the employees at the Bay Ridge mattress firm. He helped me place my order and was very patient and helpful the whole time. Even after I realizeD i made an error with my order he had no problem helping me fix it hours after I placed the order. Give that man a raise and employee of the year!! 😄
The customer service here is top rate. My wife and I bought a mattress from here and unfortunately didnt end up liking the first one we chose (Goldilocks effect). We were able to exchange the mattress (they have a generous exchange policy) with one that better fit our sleeping preferences. We were first helped by Jeff who was very helpful and knowledgeable. When we returned the mattress we were helped by Joe. He was professional, knowledgeable and very apologetic about not getting the right mattress the first time. He helped us pick a mattress that better suited us, and cut us some breaks with the return fees. Even though we didnt get the right mattress the first time, both sales reps were helpful and knowledgeable.

Ive been a long-time, content Sleepys customer, and the Mattress Firm switch - though I was nervous to hear it happened - has been, for me, positive. Its still the same great and friendly staff. The selection is still solid. The consultant I worked with, Jeff, was really knowledgeable about the products I tried. He also made sure I tried every product before purchasing, which I appreciated. He was also not pushy or fasitidious about upselling everything. Overall, I recommend this Mattress Firm location, and would definitely go back if I wanted to buy a frame or more pillows.

My experience was excellent!! I’m a real customer, and this is a legit review! From jump Nick Burger was an amazing sales rep. He kept his word when it came to me receiving my bundle package! I was going out of town and wouldn’t be home for the delivery, so he said he would delay the delivery until i got back! Guess what, he did, and i got my package. Then when it came to getting my bed, he called me and gave me updates on what time to expect it bc he knew i had to go to work! All in all, I’m veryyyy satisfied with Nick and the delivery team!!!!

Walked into this 86th street store hoping to find a box spring for an outdated model, something almost impossible. Drew was fantastic, researching to make sure we could retain our warranty for model and company they no longer carry. Took my credit information and applied a Synchrony credit card for me without my permission. They told me that they only want to get a pre-approval for me. Fraudulent and stay away. The guy is a thief I went there for a mattress cover and I felt like he was making up prices he started with $150 then as I was looking it up on my phone he went down to $120 then I was leaving and said he could give me the best ones for $95 and I wasnt even barging with him. 2022-02-22My experience was very fast and efficient. Sleep expert James asked all the right questions and was instantly able to show me a few mattresses that were just right for me. After testing out about 4 mattress based on my sleep assessment, the choice was clear and I left happy knowing I’ll no longer be having junk sleep. I got a mattress, 2 pillows and a mattress cover all for less than my intended budget.

2022-05-01I was planning to purchase my new bed on the internet, but glad I walked into Mattress Firm. Knowledgeable sales associate Jimmy helped me to understand the latest technology in mattress material as well as adjustable bed frames. I never felt pressured or rushed, and he took the time to listen to my spinal concerns while trying out the variety of mattresses for the right support. I chose an adjustable frame with massage feature to relieve back pain and am very satisfied. I was pleased with the sales and 10-year warranty also. Lesson learned: It’s best to buy your bed in person. Installation and delivery are included, which is a great relief.

Buying a mattress in person, in a store, with an expert walking you through various options cannot be replaced by anything online.
