Richard was a great help w my elderly aunt, who can be a handful at times, he was very professional, patiently helped her choose the best mattress for her and loved her experience there and more importantly loves her new mattress. The WORST shopping experience. Their crooks who refused to honor their own terms and conditions!they have engaged in deceptive marketing practices and false advertising. In particular, they have used the bait and switch techniques to lure you into the store. Specifically, the mattress firm has prominently advertised price match guarantee both on their website and inside the store. Relying on their price match guarantee I have engaged in extended negotiations with the manager but he repeatedly refused to honor the deal. They are deceiving new yorkers!

I had a great experience at Mattress Firm at 747 Columbus Ave yesterday. Sabrina was knowledgeable and took her time with me. She allowed my sister and I to make our own decision and did not try to force a product on us. Thank you for your assistance yesterday Sabrina. I called back later with a question and she wasn’t there. However, Sabrina called me right back. I appreciate that kind of service. She put my receipt in an envelope and the envelope says thank you. Where do I begin! I strolled into the Mattress Firm on Columbus Avenue after moving into a brand new, unfurnished apartment nearby. I was looking for a comfortable mattress that I wanted to invest in. I came in looking for Sabrina, after reading the great reviews about her (I’ve had not so great experiences at previous retailers in the past, so I like to do my research prior.) My goodness! The reviews were not a joke. She was the most pleasant person I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with, and she made the entire experience super seamless. Not only was she great, but the showroom smelled so fresh and clean! She listened attentively to all my concerns, suggested different options for me without being pushy, and overall made me feel comfortable. I’m a doctor and I’m on my feet all the time, so I needed something supportive and comfortable. I went from a 7 inch thick mattress in a Murphy bed to a luxurious Beautyrest mattress and an adjustable base! Talk about an upgrade!!!! Come to Mattress Firm and ask for Sabrina, you won’t be disappointed.
I was at the store today to try some mattresses and with the help of Abdel, the store manager, I left the store after purchasing one. Mr Abdel was incredibly helpful without being pushy, he was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, very courteous and allowed me to take my time making a decision. All in all a great experience.
Sabrina was FABULOUS and is a bundle of energy. She happily and eagerly approached us immediately as we entered the store. She asked us all the appropriate questions so that she could find the right mattress for my daughter. She was able to answer all our (many!) questions re: different mattress types and her knowledge was truly impressive. It was really a pleasure to work with her. Her customer service was outstanding!!

I received a friendly greeting as I entered the store yesterday from a saleswoman who was working with another customer. I worked my way around the showroom to get an idea of the different choices of mattresses and found what I liked the most. A few minutes later, Sabrina, the sales person who greeted me earlier, came over and offered her assistance. After discussing what I was looking for (one high quality King size mattress- firm with a pillow top and 2 medium quality queen size mattresses), she asked several questions and ultimately steered me to the same mattress I liked the most. She was able to offer me the sale price is for all the mattresses and quickly scheduled delivery for next week. Overall a very positive experience and I will definitely shop there again when I need another mattress. Sabrina was very competent and helpful.
I love my new mattress. Just want to first off thank Chris at your Upper West Side facility. He was very professional. Allowed me and my Mother to try different beds. I’ve been experiencing terrible back pain from my previous bed and I needed something with more support. We found something perfect within minutes. It was delivered yesterday and I have been laying in it ever since. The adjustable frame rises both my head and legs. I can’t believe I’ve been without something like this my entire life. Again, thank you Mattress Firm for all of your help. Will definitely be back to get more beds for my family.
Walked in and was pleasantly greeted by a lovely sales associate. She helped me through the process of selecting an appropriate mattress after trying a few out. She was really cool, and hooked me up with a great price on an otherwise out of budget mattress. Looking forward to getting it delivered.

I had a good experience shopping for a new mattress. Chris, the manager, was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable when it came to our needs. He asked my husband and I to try out different mattresses and wait until the matress chooses you. And sure enough we landed on a Stearns & Foster mattress that was just within our price range. Chris made it a lot of fun to shop and even gave us amazing deals! If youre looking for a new mattress or pillows, I highly recommend Chris!

The manager, Chris helped us to order our already chosen mattress and introduced us to an incredible addition: the ergonomic vibrating base which lifts my tired legs up or repositions me for tv watching or reading. Sales Associate Sabrina Abdelwahab, is a person I feel I’ve been friends with for several years - when in fact I only met her 10 minutes ago. Her customer service skills are off the chart, she’ll not be satisfied until every stone has been turned in meeting the clients needs. I entered the Mattress Firm store on Columbus Avenue (UWS) to inquire about a specific mattress, get prices and plan for a not too distant purchase (not necessarily with Mattress Firm). Long story short, I joyfully ended up buying a mattress to be delivered in two days! By the way, Sabrina, seemed just as happy for me, as I was for myself. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

Sabrina is the BEST! She’s patient, kind, and knowledgeable. She educated us on all of the current mattress jargon, carefully listened to our needs, and led us to try out several different mattresses - covid safety precautions in place throughout. If you live in or near NYC this is the place to go. (Be sure Sabrina is working when you go because you won’t find a better salesperson anywhere!!)
My experience at Mattress Firm was filled with convenience, support and awesomeness. Right from the get-go, Sabrina invited us into the wonderful world of awesome mattresses. She made us feel super accommodated, asked all the right questions, and figured out which mattress was the right one for me. She provided water, answered my lengthy question list, and then swiftly set up the mattress delivery service. Abdel helped me select a mattress that was in stock (so I could get it as soon as possible--he arranged a drop off for 2 days after purchase), within my budget, and would be supportive enough for a bad back, but forgiving enough on the joints when sleeping on my side. He was very helpful and kind, didnt pressure me to buy anything I didnt need, and when I had a question about the delivery the next day, I was easily able to get in touch with him by calling the store number. This was very different than my recent experience trying to purchase a Sealy mattress from Macys. I also have longer to decide (120 days) whether or not I want to keep the mattress I purchased than I would have with Macys (30 days). Thanks, Abdel! You rock!
Our sales person Sabrina was excellent, knowledgeable and patient. My husband and I came in anxious with two different desires for a mattress and she helped us come to an agreement. Our mattress was delivered today on time and the old one was taken. I highly recommend Mattress Firm.
The sales person was professional and knowledgeable. She made sure I got the best possible deal for the money and for my situation. That having been said: If youre buying a used mattress, make sure you test it out before the delivery men bring it inside. The bed I purchased turned out to be too soft, and its Painful on the back. Use common sense and buy a new mattress.
This was as pleasant an experience as one could have shopping for a mattress in the age of COVID. The salesman, Abdel, was helping another couple when we arrived, so we waited until they left. Abdel, who wore a mask covering nose and mouth, took out a number of mattresses for our daughter to try and we laid our own sheet on each so she could try it. We ordered one and it can be delivered to her new residence in Boston on the day we arrive. My wife wanted to shop more, but Abdel was very nice and I just wanted to get the mattress bought and off the move list. The only thing I would add is better ventilation and/or HEPA filters in the store.

They managed to be attentive & informative while not adding pressure to what is always a difficult shopping process (and with an admittedly difficult customer, myself).The location did not have Purple mattresses on display which is unfortunate, but I’m looking forward to taking delivery on my Sealy.
I had a great experience here. I was in a jam because a mattress ordered from Casper never arrived after a month and my son was coming home for the holidays. I had a bed with no mattress. Sabrina helped me find a mattress similar to what he had ordered , then she tracked it down for me so I could get it home the same day. She was a great help in solving this right before Christmas.

I had such a good, fun experience at this mattress firm - particularly with the sales associate Natasha. She was so patient with my family and I while we worked out which mattress was the best for my particularly awkward room dimensions. Every time we gave her a new specification, shed help us work around it to achieve the goal. And she was so fun too, we were actually laughing the entire hour and a half long session. I recommend to anyone living in this area!

Best investment I ever made in getting a new Tempur-Pedic bed. Abdel was my salesperson. He was very patient with me and walked me through every possible selection based on my specific needs. I have stenosis in my neck and lower back issues. He was not pushy and could tell he generally cared about me leaving with the correct bed that I needed. He even assisted me in making sure I had the correct pillow to give me the support necessary for my condition. It’s been one month now and I have no regrets with the choice I made based on Abdel’s expert advice. I’m waking up happier, and most Importantly pain free! I highly suggest going to this mattress firm if you are looking for a customer service experience with a team that doesn’t care about making the most expensive sale but rather; making sure you leave happy with the choice you made. My husband and I had an amazing experience!! We walked into the store knowing we wanted to walk out with a new mattress but we didnt know much else. Takeya was exceptional! She made our experience fun and easy. We left much more knowledgeable and of course, with a new mattress. She really took care of us and we are SO happy!!! In fact she was so awesome that my sister bought a mattress during the same visit. I recommend this store but more than that, I recommend Takeya! Went to purchase two beds after a very recent move. I walk in and theres a wonderful sales associate named Anjanette that greets me with the nicest smile. Right away she asks what my concerns and preferences are in a mattress. In no time, I find the one I LOVE! There was never any pressure to purchase! She definitely showed me quality mattresses at wonderful prices. Anjanette made what could have been a long frightful experience into such a pleasure. I would definitely recommend this store !!!!! Anjanette definitely knows the business and has great personality. A big thank you to her for all of her help!!!!!
I had a horrible experience with them. My wife and I went there on a Saturday and bought an adjustable base for about $1600. We scheduled the delivery for that Monday morning. We had specifically told them that we live in a 4th floor walkup, and we paid an additional $150 for the Platinum Service which includes a 3-man delivery team and they will deliver up to 5 floors in a walkup.The delivery guys came and only brought 2 people so they said they couldnt do the delivery. They had to reschedule. So I called the store I bought it at and it was rescheduled for Wednesday. I was assured that they confirmed with the delivery company, and this time they would absolutely have 3 men.Wednesday comes and again they only brought 2 men so AGAIN they couldnt do the delivery. So again it had to be rescheduled for that Friday. I was obviously angry since this was now 2 days I had to take off of work, and now a 3rd day will have to be taken off. It was scheduled for Friday from 10am-12pm. Thursday night at about 6pm, they called me to say that it wasnt going to be 10am-12pm, but instead 12pm-2pm. I couldnt do that time, AND I already took the morning off of work to be there. So AGAIN it had to be rescheduled for Monday morning.On Sunday I called the store to confirm that we are good for Monday. Also I took another day off of work to be there for the delivery. The manager of the store ASSURED me that he spoke to the delivery company, and that absolutely without a doubt they confirmed they would be there on Monday between 10am-12pm. At 12pm no one showed up. I called the store, and I was told that. the delivery guys werent coming and didnt bother calling me to let me know. I took the day off of work AGAIN and no one came and if I didnt call, I would never have been told they werent coming.So AGAIN we needed to reschedule. It was scheduled for that Wednesday - THIS IS NOW THE 5th TIME. I had told them that if it doesnt happen this Wednesday to cancel the order. It was delivered that Wednesday. But again, I had to take off from work 5 different times.This was EASILY the worst customer service and overall service I have ever experienced with any store. As well as the Manager of the store, instead of apologizing or being empathetic, he kept tell me that I want you to know that this has no reflection on me whatsoever. He was more worried about him not being blamed, than getting this resolved and making me feel that he cared.I would never buy from Mattress Firm ever again. This was a horrible experience.

When I first walked into the store I really didnt know what to expect. Havent had a new bed in about 7 years!! Yeah I know....but coming in & being greeted by Anjanette my long nights & no sleep days were over. She was very nice, understanding & put herself in my shoes to understand what I was looking for. Needed to buy two extra mattresses for senior guests. Buying a mattress is a nightmare for me. How can you decide in 2 minutes what is going to impact 8 hours of sleep a day?!David Schwartz who is very knowledgeable and kind did not pressure us in any way. He understood our needs and explained the difference between a cheap versus more expensive mattress. We came back two days later and he found a way to make our budget work with our needs.Very satisfied and cannot wait to have my delivery.Also knowing the mattesses have 10 year warranty calemed down all my worries.

I live in Florida and was looking to purchase a mattress for my Mom in New York. I called Sleepys on the upper West side and had the pleasure of working with Yvonne who took care of my Mom as if she were a family member. There was no upselling or having to haggle over price. I would highly recommend going to this location and asking for Yvonne. She was very professional, honest and helpful. She even arranged delivery overnight!

Nice people, awful delivery and return coordination. And the mattress I received smells like chemicals after 3 weeks- so strongly that I’ve stopped sleeping in the room and cleared it. I still haven’t gotten the receipt emailed to me after assurances that it would be, so I’m just praying they will actually arrive today to pick up the mattress and return my money as promised.Here’s the story on the delivery: I have never received a call the day before to confirm delivery or narrow the time window.When I called the night before the first delivery day, I learned that the mattress wasn’t ready so the delivery day would be changed.When I called the night before the second delivery day, no one could tell me when they were coming. I called and called the next day and no one could ever give me a window. I came home from work at noon for the delivery. They arrived at 5pm.Then the mattress stunk for 3 weeks so now I am now waiting for a pick up between 9am to 5pm and again, couldn’t reach anyone yesterday evening to confirm pick up or get a window, and better luck this morning (after 9am). Having tried both the store and mobile number of my sales associate without success, I’ve gone to the main 800 number which immediately prompts me to press 5 to connect (?!) and then eventually directs me back to the store- where no one answers.This has been a nightmare of time lost waiting around and a home that smells of the mattress. Wish me luck that they’ll come today and return my money.

I had been dreading mattress shopping, but could put it off no longer. I went to the Mattress Firm on Columbus between 96th and 97th Street and I could not be happier with the prices and the great courtesy and service I was shown. Jocelyn Jacovino welcomed me into the store and very knowledgeably pointed out the mattresses I said I was looking for. She was so helpful and quoted me great prices on some specials and on delivery. I decided to sleep on it (as it were) and come back the next day (today). David Schwartz ably helped me to purchase the one I chose. He was a thorough gentleman and I have rarely felt I was dealing with someone as honorable as he is. In summary I would like to say that this experience was by far the best one I have ever had making a large purchase, and I remain grateful to both Ms. Jacovino and Mr. Schwartz for making this an excellent experience. I could not recommend Mattress Firm more highly than I am now. Thank you!

Kind of overpriced. The salesman was a bit uniformed of the prices. First said the mattress would be $500 and then upon checkout said it would be $700. He was really affable though. So theres that.

Theyre complete criminals, buy your mattress literally anywhere else.Wasted so much energy and ended up with nothing other than a headache!!!!A day after I placed an order, I found the same mattress for cheaper online. I also happened to receive a coupon from the company via email. I came back to the store to use the coupon and the price matching 120 NIGHT LOW GUARANTEE: – We guarantee the best brands at the best prices.* that were expressed to me verbally and in writing on my invoice as part of my deal.The store manager, was very aggressive and rude. He insisted that he would not give me the mattress I ordered (I was already charged for this) unless I forfeit the 120 day trial period warranty, despite the fact that I was purchasing a brand new mattress, (not a clearance) and this was part of our contract, and the companys policy. When I refused to forfeit my right to exchange or return the mattress in the future for no reason, the manager canceled my order and my deal without my consent, and the reason he give me is that he is not making as much profit on it as he would of liked.*120 NIGHT LOW GUARANTEE: – We guarantee the best brands at the best prices. 2022-05-05I was looking for a mattress and box frame for my uncle who is elderly. I called and the Sales Specialist Richard happily took my information. When I arrived at the store he promptly explained my options and took into consideration the height of the unit for the safest way for my uncle to get in and out of bed. The service was excellent. He pays attention to detail and is diligent and professional. I was in and joyfully pleased with my purchase in less than 30 minutes. Perhaps less! I intend to return and highly recommend this store. The other sales associates that day were kind and respectful, one of the other customers even came over to Abdul to praise the sales associate they were working with. Highly recommend!
