I am very dissatisfied with my service. I ordered everything a few days ago. I was sold a used outlet mattress frame without being told by my salesperson, Alpha at the 125th Street, NY Mattress Firm store. I have not received any information regarding my new frame. This is unacceptable.
I brought two mattresses with the help of Mr. Yah, who was very knowledgeable and I appreciate that. I had went to PC Richards prior and the representative was listening to a webinar and not helpful.

I was immediately welcome by Yahj, who was very knowledgeable about the inventory. He asked me questions and walked me through my best options. When I was wary about price, Yahj worked with me to get to a comfortable price point. In the end he gave me a great discount on a better model and I left extremely happy and looking forward to my new mattress! Thank you, Yahj!
I asked my sister to meet me at Mattress Firm since she has made purchases from there. We was so blessed to have a salesman named Yahj to help us. He was wonderful. We probably stayed an extra 20 minutes in there talking. He is very knowledgeable in many things as well as all things in Mattress Firm. It is so wonderful when you get someone who is truly looking out for what you need and who will not just try and sell you the most expensive items in the store. For anyone who finds themselves shopping at the Mattress Firm on 125th Street in Harlem, ask for Yahj.

The mattress firm in Harlem is absolutely fantastic. The sales associates were extremely professional and very knowledgeable about the products. I came in Looking for the perfect bed and deal as I just moved into my first apartment in New York City. The professional that assisted me name was Alpha. Not only was he knowledgeable about the product, he totally took the time to understand my aesthetic and got to know exactly my needs and wants pertaining to this new apartment and bed. Alpha guided me throughout the show room and spoke highly of each bed, It’s pros and cons etc. we all know shopping for a new apartment can be stressful however this experience was very easy and I feel confident about my purchase.Alpha was also assisted by Yahj who also was extremely helpful within my decision.They both provided me with great customer service and I’d 100% recommend anyone go see them for their next Mattress needs.

Our experience with Pearl was wonderful. From the moment we walked into this location, we were greeted with a warm hello and lots of knowledge. Not only did pearl listen to our needs and wants, she provided us with lots of facts. Pearl walked us through a 100% process of finding the perfect mattress fit, and we did. I just moved to NYC, and was on a Air Mattress, my money was tight, but that Air Mattress had to go. I was looking online for a Mattress, but I say Matters Firm Harlem and was like I need to at least check then out. An actually touch the bed, and see how they feel. I first thought the Agent was trying to just get me to buy something. So I didn’t feel comfortable but as we talked I could see the Agent was trying to really help. I didnt want to spend a lot on a bed, but I didn’t want to go extra cheap cause this is a Bed, kind of important if you ask me. So once we stopped looking at things I could not afford. The agent asked what I was looking for and found me a Matters that fit my budget and comfort for relaxation on a bed. The Agent I had was Ms. Pearl, I would say one of the best will to help, and push you in a direction to make a decision that will be an investment. I am really happy with my bed, I see I could have gotten the extra soft version in the bed I got, but that is not even 1% of a reason to complain. The adjustable bed frame is pretty cool and handy too. Also the moving crew was so fast and efficient, I don’t even think they were in my place for 10 mins. I’m definitely going back to Matters Firm for my next bed for sure. I don’t see why not they have all you want and more that you didn’t even know they had. I’ll give 10/10 and I’m one of the most difficult people to deal with, so I say thank you again to Matters Firm Harlem, swing by and check them out when you have time, and need a bed.
I was looking for a good mattress at an affordable price. Mr. Diamond Coles took the time to not only walk me through the mattresses in my price range but gave details that catered to my comfort needs reminding me that he “just wanted me to find a mattress that I could sleep well on.” I appreciate the time and care he took with me today. Excellent customer service is a lost art these days. If you are looking for a good mattress and a knowledgeable & jolly salesman, he’s your guy!!
I went in looking for a mattress that would give my daughter the best sleep she’s ever had and something that would make her back feel like she’s sleeping in heaven. Mr. Diamond provided GREAT customer service and actually took the time to understand and meet my daughters needs for the perfect mattress ! Had a great experience at the Mattress Firm in Harlem. First day I arrived I met Alpha and he explained every mattress and took the time to match me to some based on my sleeping patterns. I definitely learned a lot and decided to take a day to think about it so I came back the next day with my sister and met Chauncey who was very helpful. I narrowed my choices to two beds and he helped me make my final decision. Went with the Tempurpedic and Chauncey explained all the information I would need for my bed and I’m really excited about my choice. Thank you Chauncey and Alpha for your help.
I went into buy a Tulo which was advertised on the site and apparently it was not available in the store. I ended up buying a more expensive foam. The sales person was nice and very helpful. Their inventory system had trouble releasing the mattress because it was already sold. The sales people were struggling with doing kludgy processes to sell me a mattress that belonged to someone else. Anyway the sales guy was very helpful and he had an easy sale that is why they got 4 stars but from a corporate inventory management and selling as advertised perspective, I would say, if I weren’t desperate, I would not go there again. Purely because of the salesperson at the store that they got 4 stars

William was so helpful and knowledgeable about sleep and finding the best mattress that will meet your needs. He was also very good at allowing you space to decide on your options and asked what was your price range which was very thoughtful. I felt comfortable and it made me feel confident in my decision to purchase a bed for my mom.
We were advised by William, who also happens to be a Sleep Consultant. We were given solid and sensible advice about what to look for in a good mattress and we actually bought on the day, even though that hadn’t been our plan. Mattress was delivered quickly and all went smoothly. It is a month on and we are very satisfied with the mattress so far. Thanks a lot!

I went in to change my online order because I got worried that I didnt pick the right mattress. So, Pearl helped me pick a mattress for my Murphy Bed. I went into Mattress Firm after seeing online that two mattresses were on sale. I was nervous about going into the store because of COVID-19 but the store wasn’t packed at all. In fact, other than Larry who worked the desk, the store was empty. Larry helped me once I got in the store. He let me take my time and try all the mattresses. Not once did he rush me and he kept his mask on the entire time. He even recommended that I try a mattress comparable to the ones I saw online because the one I asked about was not in the store. Once I selected a mattress Larry helped me figure out the financing. It was such an easy process. Really glad that I came to this store.

I went into the Mattress Firm on 125th and 7th Ave today looking to purchase a memory foam pillow. It turned out after talking to William about the neck, shoulder and hip problem I have been experiencing, that I needed a new mattress! This had entered my mind but thought I should try the pillow first. William had shown me the differences on sleeping on a firm mattress and a regular mattress of good quality. I immediately noticed that I felt more comfortable and didnt feel the tension in my neck and shoulder, the mattress formed to my body and my hip felt better as well.William had convinced me, I ended up purchasing a new mattress today! I would definitely see William at Mattress Firm again, if needed and would recommend my friends to him.Great customer service and knowledge!!
Both their services and management/customer service cannot be trusted at this location. I ordered a mattress around 9 or 10 am for same day delivery and the mattress never came, nor was I notified it wasnt coming. I slept on the floor that night, after moving all day. I had to take off work the next day to receive it, costing me a days salary. Larry, the manager, didnt offer a discount on the delivery fee, instead he insisted the mattress had already been discounted (as if I should just be happy with that). After having to convince him this was unacceptable, as Ive now been subject to scheduling and monetary inconveniences for their mistake, he ultimately agreed to refund the delivery fee. I asked for an email confirmation of this which he said he would do that evening or the next morning. In similar fashion to the mattress, the email or refund has still never come. Truly a disgusting way to treat a first time customer. They dropped the ball from the first day and along every step of the process. As of now Ive paid double the cost of the mattress with the salary deduction they cost me.

Do yourself a favor and RUN to this Mattress Firm and ask for Diamond and William. I have never even written a Google review before, this but these two people are a WHOLE vibe. I went yesterday because I have been losing sleep because of a bad mattress. William is incredibly knowledgable and completely changed my perspective on sleep. He is even writing a book about it!It has to be said: I am a type-a/finicky person that usually gives salespeople I hard time because I am demanding and impatient. (#selfaware) Somehow, despite my budget constraints and having a hard time making decisions I left here with a fantastic new bed and a fresh perspective. I don’t think I could have had a great experience at another Mattress Firm and I think William is definitely one of a kind. So happy!

The GREATEST experience a person can have trying to find the right mattresses and bed setting is located in Harlem on west 125th street at Sleepys. Larry, the sales representative is very knowledgeable about the merchandise sold by his company.So much so, he can show you how the quality of these mattresses will fit your needs and comfort level.The best part of this experience is when you get the products home, I found everything Larry said was true about the mattresses and bed sets!!! I have been with this company for ten years or more at the same location and i have shopped around with other companies with no satisfaction. The reason I feel i am an expert on this matter is because i have repeatedly brought bedding for my elderly dad, myself and son with great satisfaction, Thanks Larry!!!!

Our sleep expert Pearl was phenomenal. She answered all our questions and asked us questions we wouldn’t even think to ask. Loved working with her and she was super patient as it took us a 2nd visit to finally decide and purchase a mattress. She’s a gem!

She was very Patient and kind. In addition I did not feel rushed as I tried almost very mattress at mattress firm!!! She was also informative with the other items I purchase such as the pillows and the bedding. I would recommend very whim looking for a mattress visit Mattress Firm at Harlem.

2022-04-14From the minute we walked in to the store, Pearl gave us her undivided attention. She really helped enormously with finding the right mattress and in getting the financing to work. She was very knowledgeable and helpful overall. The manager in the store was also very nice and helpful to us, and everyone took their time with us and made sure everything was done correctly. We are in love with the great Tempurepedic mattress and pillows! The folks at this location are very nice and professional! We couldn’t have asked for better customer service!

I visited one other spot, but there was no one to ask if I needed help, or for me to talk to. Right then, I knew I was going back to get my bed from Yahj. He worked out a great deal, and made it work for my budget!!! I couldnt have been happier.

I came in completely uninformed on the improvements in bedding of today, but Yahj with his extensive knowledge helped me to make a solid decision on a mattress set suitable to my needs and I left the store feeling like I made a wise investment on my quality of sleep for years to come.
