Had a great experience with Jeffery. I was a little nervous knowing how the mattress shopping deals work. Jeffery got straight to the point with everything and answered all my questions. Just a few words about our wonderful experience aith Mattress Firm, Port Jefferson Station. Ordered an adjustable split king set and two pillows. Trouble free transaction with Sean, the Sales person. The delivery was flawless. Showed up on time, wore booties and gloves and were polite and efficient. All in all, a remarkable experience. Best of all, we LOVE our new bed !

Needing 2 complete mattress sets for my two sons I went to Mattress Firm after not finding what I needed at Bobs and Raymour and Flanagan. When my husband and I walked in we were immediately greeted by Jamie. He was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and helpful and not at all pushy. He showed us everything we were looking for at all price points. Ultimately, we decided on the Beautyrest mattress. It was way more than we were planning on spending but after Jamie worked his magic we got a great price for 2 lovely and extremely comfortable mattresses. Delivery was smooth with no issues. The boys are sleeping like Kings and are very happy with their new beds! I would definitely recommend this location and asking for Jamie.

The store owner (Jamie) was extremely helpful with my purchase. I let him know my budget and that I sleep on my back and prefer a firmer mattress. He showed me several options and most importantly NEVER pressured me!! He is a class act and even though I don’t expect the need to purchase an additional mattress/bed anytime in the near future, I will definitely refer family and friends to Mattress Firm and too his store.

Purchasing a new adjustable mattress for a senior citizen was easy with Alicia. She was helpful and knowledgeable.I can’t respond about the actual delivery and set up yet.
The Mattress Firm staff were very inviting from the moment we walked through the door. The first associate was already engaged with a couple but greeted us right away. Jamie had been notified we needed help and seconds later he helped us out. He made our buying experience fast, safe and easy which is exactly what we wanted. Would definitely recommend heading not just to Mattress Firm but this location. We’ve had experiences with other locations and they did nothing wrong but Jamie and his team helped us at a level that made the whole process feel genuine and professional. Gotta go see it for yourselves.
Noelle was very transparent with us and did not cut corners. We were there for maybe 40 minutes before closing a deal. It’s scary spending a good chunk of cash on a mattress but this is something you do not rush on and need to invest in. Noelle helped us pick the best mattress for us and even gave us a great price we could not argue with. She’s very professional and definitely one of the best salesperson we have ever dealt with. Will definitely recommend highly because of her.

We just bought our second mattress here in the past several months. Jamie, the store manager, was wonderful to work with. He assisted my teenaged daughter in finding the best mattress for her. I would recommend shopping at Port Jefferson Station Mattress firm to anyone who cares about their body and sleep. Coming in I was ready for any bed that seemed comfortable to me, this was not enough for the exceptional managers. I tried numerous beds suggested by manager Jamie who then examined the straightness of my back as well as instructed me to try specific beds for my injured back. Needless to say Jamie helped me find the right fit for me and I couldnt be happier.
My wife and I went down to look at mattresses on 2/24/20. We were welcomed by Jamie Morris who was more then welcoming to us and our three year old son who was getting his big boy bed. We told Jamie what we were looking for and he was honest, kind, informative and did not try to push or up sell anything in the store. He was very knowledgeable about all the products, and again left us to look around without any pressure to buy a certain product or price fixed product. Jamie has a family so he was understanding of the attention span of our three year old. We ended up purchasing the Pressuresmart plush Matt full. Jamie really took care of us. He was kind and understanding, and again, did not push us on anything. I would recommend this store to everyone. If you would like a no pressure experience in buying a mattress with a professional atmosphere this is the place to go.
53 minutes agoMy wife and I dealt with Stephen and Peter, both great guys to deal with, they made the whole process of buying a mattress painless and easy. Peter is at the Rocky Point location mainly and Stephen was at the Port Jefferson store where the mattress that we wanted was in stock at. Neither guy pressured us into buying one model v.s. another. Basically what we said we were looking for they showed us a few models and left it up to us to finally decide what would work for us.Again great guys and service!
Steve and Jamie were wonderful. We were honest with them that we had visited other stores to look at duel king adjustable beds. Here we were able to take our time with no pressure to buy. They were both so helpful, and the price was definitely nice. Might I also add that the delivery crew were courteous, quick, clean, and respectful of being in your home. We love our new bed. I went into the store after driving for 20 hours from Florida to New York, exhausted, broke and overwhelmed. The gentleman in the store, Mr. Jamie Morris took all those feelings away instantaneously. I just bought a tempurpedic bed, adjustable base, mattress protector and two pillows from Jamie at Mattress Firm.I usually keep my guard up with anybody that is trying to sell me something, but I can honestly say that I did not feel like it was necessary with this purchase.Even though it was a significant $$ purchase, I NEVER felt any sales pressure and I was extremely happy with the price I paid. My husband and I have always purchased mattresses at this location of Mattress Firm over the course of many years..It’s the level of professionalism and customer service that has kept us returning.We needed to replace a bed in one of our guest rooms and came into the Port Jefferson Station location.,As soon as we walked in, we were given a warm greeting by Jamie Morris, the store manager. I was extremely pleased to see the level of precautions being implemented to maintain proper protocol for social distancing, masks (worn properly) as well as sanitizer. That’s paramount for us during these exceedingly tenuous times.Jamie Morris is extremely knowledgeable about his inventory. We never felt as though we were being pushed into purchasing a bed that was too expensive for a guest room which is seldom used. I am delighted with comfort and quality of the bed that we purchased as well as the price point. We will definitely be back when we need to replace our bed in our master bedroom.

Went into store to purchase a new mattress. I told Jamie I had a pillow top mattress that I loved for 15 years. He talked me into a tempur pedic mattress since you receive a 90 day return I figured I would try it out. After the first night I hated it. I waited a few days and went into the store to find out about switching it out for a different mattress. Jaime was off and I was told he would be back in 2 days. I called 2 days later and was told he wouldn’t be in for another day. Since I wasn’t sleeping well I wanted to get a new mattress delivered ASAP. Robert helped me. Long story short it was $99 for delivery and pickup, not bad however every mattress in the same price range was back ordered for 30 days, you can not pick a cheaper mattress. I ended up with a mattress that was $1000 more. At first they wouldn’t do anything with the price because I was using a credit. After going back and forth they did drop price to only $500 more. Robert was very helpful considering this wasn’t even his sale. I received my new mattress and I’m very happy with it. However I never heard back from Jaime one time! Robert knew and told Jamie how upset I was too. You read all the reviews (which Jaime pushes for big time) and it makes me wonder how he gets so many good ones. Typical sales person.
I have a bad back injury and I dont have a lot of money. I explained to my sales person (Jamie ) what type of mattress my doctor said I needed. He was very understanding of my needs and took the time to locate a specific mattress for me. Delivery and set up was quick, clean and very professional. My new mattress is great, I have never slept so well.

I want to thank Robert the sales person we bought our mattresses and adjustable bases from . He was very knowledgeable, took his time with us , absolutely no rushing or pressuring us . Most important to Robert was that we were very comfortable with the mattresses that we pick out . We were there looking for a King bed and while talking we explained what we really wanted was twin beds with separate adjustable head and leg bases , we researched at home first and realized it was way out of our budget . Well Robert was able to work it out that we purchased twin Sterns and Foster mattresses and separate adjustable bases ... the best part it was in our budget and we didn’t have to change our choice of mattresses... Excellent experience for first time buyers buying a mattress. Definitely would recommend the professional salesman Jamie! He made our experience easy and his costumer service skills were on point!
Long story short: I bought a mattress, should have taken three weeks to get delivered. Took two months, my husband with herniated discs had to sleep on an air mattress for weeks. Paid extra for an install, the frame wasn’t assembled right so we had to take it apart and do it ourselves. DID NOT get a refund for the install. Got the worst customer service i’ve ever had.Full story: first week of December I went down and purchased a mattress, for delivery to the apartment I was moving to on Jan. 3rd. Went down to settle payment Dec. 28th, and we were told it would get there Jan 14th. We were unhappy but accepted this. On Jan 2nd we decided to move to a different apartment, and would move in Jan 22nd. We called, changed the delivery address & date, and it was fine. The day before the delivery I got a confirmation text with the previous address. I called to have it changed, and was told the new address would have a different warehouse, but they can’t do a warehouse to warehouse transfer so they would have to order a brand new mattress. I would have it Jan 25th. I was upset but accepted this. Jan 23rd comes, and I get told there’s another delay and it would get here Feb 6th. I was ready to just cancel the order but was offered a $200 refund for the delay. I accepted, and it was processed Monday the 25th. February 6th comes and I get my mattress and install, but the frame is put together lopsided. We didn’t notice because the installers shoved a paper in our hands then ran out the door. We called the store and they said since we signed there was nothing they could do. We had to take it apart and put it together ourselves. We were told 6-10 business days for our refund, and it’s been 10 business days with no refund. Now we’re told maybe up to 21 business days. We were refused a refund for the install. Absolutely furious. Jamie, the manager, didn’t apologize for anything except “The other girls mistakes” and aggressively insisted he did nothing wrong and we should be grateful to him for the refund. Okay, like the $200 we still haven’t gotten makes up for my injured husband sleeping on an air mattress, and then having to move the cali king mattress and fix the bed frame. Jamie is a lot of talk with no follow up. Take your money elsewhere. If you ever get your mattress, you’ll get the run around and horrible service.Edited to add: if anyone from corporate reads this, please look at the yelp reviews from this location. Apparently Jamie refused to give information to someone else to speak with anyone higher up, and the location also sold someone else a damaged mattress, replaced it with a damaged mattress, and didn’t give a refund in the end.

We ordered 1400$ in mattresses and pillows And went in today to go return two pillows and buy a new California king bed because they’re too firm didn’t even use them wanted to just exchange them , And denied us and said they would give us a discount on the new pillows but can’t exchange them that’s Outrageous on 100$ each pillows never going back here.Responding: I was told that if my mattress is not comfortable I can return it why cant I do the same thing with the pillows? The plastic was opened and never slept on.
I had been looking for a new mattress for a while, but it wasnt until I walked into Port Jeff Mattress Firm and met Kim that I knew I was in the right place with the right salesperson. Kim was so friendly and so patient with me. She answered all the ?s and concerns I had about different types of mattresses and what would be best for me and my budget. The mattress I chose got delivered last Thursday it was quick and easy and I could not be happier. Two weeks ago, my daughters mattress delivery from another retailer was canceled due to COVID delays. She was about to move 1,700 miles away, and she had no bed to put in the moving van. She called Mattress Firm. and thankfully connected with Jamie. At this point retail stores were not open because of the pandemic, but Jamie listened to her story. He recommended a mattress and set her up with a box spring and frame. And most importantly, he arranged for it to be delivered to her new apartment. Was in to see Jamie Morris at Port Jefferson Station Mattress Firm for the 2nd time because my wife and I needed a new mattress and we immediately thought of him because he was so great when he took care of us a year ago when we bought our kids new mattresses. I walked into this store yesterday with the sole intention of purchasing a specific mattress that I had my mind set on based on recent ConsumerReports Reviews. Turns out that this mattress was indeed one of the popular internet bed in a box products that Mattress Firm does not carry.I was greeted by Steve & off the bat I gave him a list of demands on what I wanted & needed. I didn’t have a set price range in mind, I was concerned with finding the right product and then worry about the price. I am an active career firefighter with a long list of injuries including a back that is really in need of surgical intervention at this point. A new mattress is a must.Understanding what I was looking for Steve immediately brought me over to two beds specifically. Both beds were great, the same brand & quite similar with the major difference being a $1,500 price difference. The “new technology” was more expensive. I put Steve through the gauntlet of questions on the differences between the two mattresses. Steve introduced the Manager Jamie at this point who offered his opinion of the same two choices. Both Steve & Jamie answered all of my questions and said themselves that I should save the $1,500 and go with the brands #2 mattress. I am confident that they helped me make the right choice (while saving money).When it came to selecting a base for the perfect mattress I was told that the store was offering a promotion based on the mattress I selected that gave me a free remote controlled adjustable head base, (an $800+ value). This was the first time that I experienced the magic of a base like this. I immediately sold myself on a couple levels up from this base which didn’t qualify for the promotional offer.Steve & Jamie worked a little magic on the computer and were able to apply the $800+ savings to the base that I selected. Much appreciated. Choosing a new bed is a stressful & expensive event in my opinion. I urge anyone in the market to give Steve & Jamie a visit before pulling the trigger. They helped me find the right product at an exceptional price. Gentlemen that I hope are still there in a decade when I need my next mattress.
This store is the best. I went to 4 mattress stores before this store. Sleep number store, a local mattress place, Macys and Sears.... within 5 mins of walking in we felt comfortable with Rob. No cheesy sales pitch, no bs, didnt try and answer my questions by steering my wife and I to the mattress he needed to sell for the day. Greeted us in 30 seconds was friendly informative, and from the plethora of information provided we sold ourselves on the best mattress for us. . if you want an honest and open experience go to mattress firm or port Jefferson station. My experience of Mattress firm was excellent, both CJ and James were extremely helpful in matching my budget to their stock. I was able to purchase my mattress with a frame and have it delivered for a great price. Everything went like clockwork from a delivery angle too, the guys were on time, set up and gone in just a few minutes. Would definitely recommend Mattress firm.

The store was clean and well kept. The sales associates, Rachael & Ronald, were very pleasant and personable. When I shopped there the computer system was not working correctly; all the appropriate phone calls were made and everything was rectified in a speedy manner. The computer system glitch did NOT reflect any shortcomings regarding the sales associates.

As soon as I walked in and told the salesperson I was looking for a queen size firm mattress his one of his first questions was if I were gonna buy the mattress today or another day. When I told him I would like to come back another day after exploring my options, his response was COME BACK THE DAY YOU WILL BUY THE MATTRESS. After insisting to show me some mattresses at my price range, he decided to get off his chair and show me the options.Imagine you go to a doctor to explore the options to quit smoking but you are not ready to quit yet and the doctor tells you come back when you ready to quit without explaining you the available options to quit smoking, how would you feel?

The guy seating at the desk was rude and disrespectful. After we asked him if he could lower the price by $10.00 he said , if you leave this store , the price would be$75.00 more when you come back in. Upset at his rude, impolite reaction, we drove to Raymour and Flanegan outlet near Smithhaven Mall and bought the same mattress cheaper . We would have bought it at his place if he had listened to customer and not cut us off mid way through the conversation. What a joker.

2022-07-04Walking into the store we were met by salesman by the name of Brett extremely friendly and very very polite. After discussing with Brad what type of mattress we were looking for he showed us mattresses that would be of interest to us he was absolutely on the money we ended up buying a beauty rest plus pillows plus sheets plus mattress protector and spent around $5800 and that’s with getting a great buy for Fourth of July Brett was excellent I highly recommend him a great sales person a wonderful person to talk to and extremely extremely friendly and polite he was also well educated in the different types of mattresses and what we were exactly looking for I will definitely send people to that store to see bread

2022-04-19***Update***Below this is my original post. But let me tell you, two months later after my mattress was replaced with the firmest mattress they sell. Shaun is the absolute best. I sent him pictures of the dented in mattress on Easter Sunday and he got back to me in minutes. Told me to come to Mattress Firm the next day and he helped me pick out a new mattress with a new adjustable base. This mattress is suppose to last 10 years and the base will last forever. Hopefully this is the best and last choice necessary for me to get a good nights sleep and make it past the 2 to 3 month mark. Mattress Firm is the best company for your bed. I am blown away by the level of customer service and care. I will refer everyone to their store. Thank you Shaun for all you have done for me and my family.I bought a mattress 3 months ago and it started to cave in. I reached out to Shaun my representative located at the Port Jefferson location and with no problems I was swapped out for an upgrade the next day. Delivered to my house and set up with no issues. Its not always about the perfect transaction, but more so the way a company approaches an issue when things dont go according to plan. I can honestly say mattress firm was the best shopping experience for a mattress I ever had and the customer service is second to none. I cant wait to sleep tonight on this new, comfortable, amazing mattress.

The availability of my mattress and base was unbelievable as well. We just had our set delivered and what a breeze delivery and setup was as well. Even on a hot summer day the delivery men were super respectful and were very efficient. I would recommend Jamie and Mattress Firm moving forward. Thank you!!

2022-07-04Wow, I’m impressed, I was stuck with a bed with no frame so I called this location and was surprisingly pleased at how quick and easy it was dealing with John. He made everything so simple and gave us a great deal. Big thanks to John!
