My girlfriend and I were in need of a mattress upgrade and stopped by the throgs neck location on Friday, July 2, 2021. We had our eyes on a Tuft & Needle mattress but it turns out that mattress is online only. We were met by a store representative, Tina and she assisted us with every question we could possibly have on in-store mattresses. She went above and beyond to provide quality information which made our in-store purchase a breeze. We expected a delay with delivery due to the pandemic and the holiday weekend but Tina worked out a delivery for Sunday, July 4th! We’re super excited to receive our new adjustable base and king size hybrid mattress. Thank you, Tina!
We were treated with such care and patience by Tina. She was very helpful in helping us get everything we were looking for in our new bed. She left us confident that our bed will be delivered on time and if there was any hiccup at all, shed be on it right away. I will definitely recommend Tina to all our friends and family in search of a new Mattress.

I had an amazing experience purchasing my mattress 6 years ago. The pillow top wasnt good for my body but they helped me submit a claim to replaced it. Adam was great at showing different me the types for my body frame. Nadia help me schedule an appointment two later. Tai took her time and explained each mattress. She helped me to find the best mattress within my budget. I was initially concerned because the store is now mattress firm but Tia erased any concerns. She was knowledgeable and took her time to help me choose what was best for me. The customer service was excellent and the mattress is super comfortable. Overall a great experience. I came across mattress firm just the other day! I work close by and never paid any attention..... anyways as soon as I walked in I was greeted with a great smile by a sales associate name Tai! She was very detail oriented -patient - and delightful-she definitely knew her stuff! Not to mention she paid attention to me and my husbands every need of bed sleep quality ! I loved the experienced and love the bed!
In Store service was Customer Service of Excellence. Not to pushy but attentive. I informed them not to lie to me tell me what’s in stock and the best deal for what I wanted. They delivered. And the Delivery service superb. Kept you informed, delivery and set up excellent.

I just purchased my new mattress today after living with mine for over 30 years. Tai was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She was very concerned about my comfort in purchasing a mattress that would fit the way I sleep. I originally was looking at one type and she suggested a different one that would support my body. TL;DR – Anthony is awesome! He helped me find the perfect mattress for me.To be quite honest how often does one actually go mattress shopping? Maybe 3-4 times in your life will you actually “go out” and purchase a mattress, so naturally I had no idea what I was doing. So, I did what any person in this day and age would do when they need to make a significant purchase, I researched beyond belief (I can tell you about innersprings, memory foam, latex, which mattresses sleep hot, which are best for sex, [which are bad for sex] how much you’ll save buying from an online mattress company, etc.). So with my newfound knowledge I decided to make a decision of purchasing an online mattress, (because reviews, cheaper “and of high quality”), it was the worst decision I’ve made. Online research told me since I’m a side sleeper I must get a softer medium firm bed. The bed was horrible and left me with lower back pains that I never had before even on my old bed. Luckily there was a grace period and I was able to return it. I was left without a bed. There is currently no bed in my room (is it still even a “bedroom”?).So I went to Mattress Firm and luckily met Anthony. He greeted me with a friendly hello and he handled the entire in-store experience with exceptional customer service. At first I explained to Anthony my situation he listened to me intently. He was able to help me find the perfect bed for me in a painless manor. He first determined which firmness level would be best for me by trying out multiple beds. Then I laid in the ones that I liked for around 10 minutes to get a real good feel for it. He made me feel at ease when we spoke. He came off to me as friend not as a salesman, which made the experience comfortable. I am glad Anthony was there to help me through this process, which I thought would be miserable, but turned out to be a great experience. Even though I may have been difficult customer he had patience to get me through the mattress buying process. Thanks Anthony for all the help!The store has a wide variety of beds from plush to firm. I recommend wearing comfortable clothes when you go so you can lie in the beds as you would at home (also bring your pillow [I am no diminishing the pillows they have], but bring yours only if you absolutely love your pillow, because they have fine comfortable pillows that are probably better than yours. There is ample parking in the parking lot. I highly recommend purchasing a mattress from them. They also sell mattress covers if you’re in the market for one of those. 10/10 would shop again.

Tia is an exceptional person. She went above n beyond. To listen to my concerns about picking out the proper and perfect mattress. Her customer service skills are superb. A VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER!!I had purchased a full size bed from Mattress Firm with sales associate Artines Alioska from Throggs Neck location on 815 Hutchinson River Pkwy, sometime last year and it was for my mother.The bed is great and my mother is extremely happy but I went back early this year to the same location and spoke to the same sale rep, Artines Alioska, I asked her that I wanted to purchase another bed, but only she can create two purchase orders and split the bill with two billing address so it doesn’t create issues between my mother and I.Ms Artines Alioska promised me that she will take care of everything, so I made the purchase. A month later realizing I never received a purchase order to my house, I went back to to Ms Alioska and explained to her my situation. She couldn’t help me, so she put me on the phone with the bank representative who shut me down stating that what I was asking for was impossible. Now my mother and I are on the same purchase order, make on time payments- but still getting charged late fees and it’s extremely an inconvenience which I tried to avoid in the first place, just because Ms Alioska wanted to make a sale.
Tina is 10/10 the person to see i went in with my mom and sister to buy a mattress ONLY. I WALKED OUT with a free adjustable bed set and a 1000 bed and i only spent 925 total which is a steal THANK YOU SO MUCH

My mattress was 8 years old but it was sinking in on both sides of the mattress I called them up I went down there I filled out some paperwork I sent in all the necessary pictures that they required and in less than a week I received a notice and my email that they were giving me a credit to get a new mattress I couldnt ask for better than that theyre a great company to do business with
Good Place to shop for mattress they have a lot of variety and they are good.The reason i give them 3 star is because my total was $440.00 and with the taxes it came out to almost $480.00 it came out to 476.00 so you are telling that you are going to charge me $40 dollars of taxes i my opinion that’s crazy something needs to be done about that or no one will buy from there.

2021-07-06My partner and I bought two expensive mattresses online after doing so much of our own research and - unfortunately - we hate them. SO, we decided to give Mattress Firm one more shot despite having had a negative experience at a different location in the past. Tina is wonderful. She has been in mattress sales a long time and knew exactly what to communicate to us based on our requests. She heard us out, gave us some options that fit our preferences, allowed us a limitless amount of time to go back and forth between a few, and then gave us space to talk it out. We purchased one king and one queen and they’re being delivered THIS WEEK. Very impressed.

2021-07-06After extensive research for a mattress and base, the actual visits to several Mattress Firm stores and speaking to several reps I left a bit confused on what to purchase. But after my visit to the Hutchinson store and meeting with Natividad the experience was exceptional!She was attentive, polite, knowledgeable, a true professional as a Mattress Firm rep. She took the extra steps in answering my many questions with a patience that made me feel as if I was family.I made my decision on a mattress and base and hope that the actual products will meet my needs.
