I initially worked with Steve at the 72nd street location. He was great to work with, very personable and kind. He let me try out a number of mattresses and checked to make sure my spine was in alignment. He was very accommodating and made sure I got the best price and a mattress I was confident in. I never felt rushed or anything like that.Unfortunately, the one I chose ended up being a little bit too soft and I needed something a bit firmer. So I went to this 82nd street location since it was closer to where I lived. I worked with Andrew who was awesome! He listened thoughtfully to all of my needs and issues with the old mattress. He was patient and let me spend as much time as I needed on each mattress he recommended. He never tried to push me toward a more expensive mattress, and gave his honest opinion about what mattress he thought would work best for me no matter the price. He is clearly an expert. The exchange was quick and smooth and he went out of his way to save me as much money as possible. I cannot say enough good things about both Andrew and Steve and the 82nd street location. I trust their advice.
Andrew, at the store on 82nd and Broadway, was great! My intention was to find a mattress I liked, price check on the internet and order online. However Andrew was so helpful in so many ways, from working on the price to securing me the fastest shipping (less than 2 days), I happily ordered directly from him. This was a great shopping experience!

2022-05-26Our sales associate Andrew was extremely helpful. He fielded all of our questions and concerns and was very knowledgeable about all of the products. We went in with no prior knowledge, and he worked with us to help us find exactly what we wanted while being courteous and patient the whole time. 2022-06-03Andrew helped me find the perfect mattress for a great price. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient at getting everything squared away and delivered. 2022-07-23I’m glad to see that so many people writing reviews about this store have been pleased. Overall, I would say that I have had some good experiences at this store. But last year, something happened that really felt uncomfortable to me. I came in to look for a mattress, having purchased one the year before. The mattress that I purchased before turned out to be not as comfortable as I would have liked. I wanted to get another mattress that would be much sturdier. Years ago, I slept on a futon and really liked that. So when I finally found a mattress that I liked this time at Mattress Firm UWS, it was actually one of the least expensive mattresses in the store. Not “high end“ at all. And when I begin to express interest in purchasing this mattress, the representative who had been showing me much more expensive mattresses seemed not only disappointed, but dismissive. All of a sudden, he wasn’t as available as he had been when he was showing me the more expensive varieties. It really left a bad taste. This happened about a year ago and I’m still remembering how this representative just absolutely lost interest in me as a customer once I began to show more interest in the inexpensive mattress. At least that’s how it seemed to me. Thank you

2022-07-04I went into Mattress Firm on the upper west side with lots of questions while shopping for a new mattress. Andrew Recio helped answer ALL of them with a ton of knowledge. A mattress is important and can be expensive. Andrew made me feel good about the choices I made and confident I was getting a great deal. He made an experience I was clueless about seem easy. It was a pleasure working with her. She was patient while I tried many different options and found me just the right option for my price range.
