I went with my family, we enjoyed our entire experience. For how stressful picking out a mattress is; Sal made the time go by a little easier. He was very patient with us, especially since we were with our infant and preteen. The one thing we had an issue with is that the show room is on the second floor and a walk up. No option for elevator. We had to do 2 trips up the stairs with the baby stroller. Thats the reason for the 4 not 5 stars.
My Sleep Expert Sal was warm welcoming and very informative. I got exactly what I was looking for and would recommend him to anyone.

I had a wonderful experience today at Sleepys in Washington Heights. The store is very clean and organized. Priscilla helped me find a new mattress without ever pressuring me to meet a certain price point (a really rare thing these days, I think). She was incredibly knowledgeable and charming to talk to. Im glad I walked in!

Had a great time working with Sal. Painless delivery, good conversation and very satisfied with our Sleepys curve memory foam.No COVID Concerns when I was there, plenty of open space and well marked distances. Beds and pillows were regularly cleaned between tests!
Since my first visit had an excellent service experience! I highly recommend this store, the person in charge explained every question I had very detailed, the delivery was on the date and time promised, eventhough was on Sunday the 30th, before Memorial Day.

This store sold me a box spring on 1/1/2020. It was on sale and therefor not able to be returned. Unfortunately we started finding bedbugs after the purchase of it. We had to throw it out! We had it for two months, its a complete waste of money. Id love to ask for my money back but the woman was very clear that there would be no refunds. Smooth. The exterminator told me he witnessed a mattress firm employee carelessly bag a mattress with 1000+ bugs infested on it and throw it in the truck with all the other new mattresses. Under his professional opinion he also believes the bed bugs came from this box spring. This is a very upsetting experience.

This is my second purchase at the Washington Heights location now known as Mattress Firm. I came in to the store to purchase a comfortable mattress since after I gave birth I am now having back problems. Well Priscilla helped me select the perfect mattress at a great comfortable price. Priscilla was very knowledgeable of the different selections and very humble at the same time. I thank her dearly she literally told me and my husband we will sleep with the angels from now on and that is exactly what it feels like ever since my purchase like I am in Mattress heaven LOL. I bought my bed and a pillow here back in 2017 and I love it. I needed another pillow and so I went back to what I know. The staff there are very knowledgeable in what they have in store.
Sal has been really helpful. Although it started off rocky being disappointed in the beginning, he has done his best to fix the issues. The company itself needs work though, needs to communicate better with their stores to keep everyone in the loop.
Great experience! Excellent customer service. Travis helped me pick a mattress and kindly was able to find a better price than was advertised and find the best way to pay for it. Cant wait to getting my first foam mattress.
Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Plenty of selections and price ranges. Delivery service is excellent - and they take the old mattress away. If you are going to spend roughly a third of your life on a mattress then it should be considered and treated as an investment in comfort and health (to minimize/avoid the back pains, etc.). Like anything in life - you get what you pay for.

Recently bought a hybrid mattress from this location. Tashira was very nice and helpful in the process and was able to make buying a mattress a pleasant experience and I got a great deal on top of that. Would definitely recommend.

The worst place I have ever visited. I ordered a mattress with its base and protective lining and it included free delivery. They set a date for me to take it, when the date arrived, the delivery man says that he only has the mattress, he called the seller, the seller says that he will send it again with everything. They spent three weeks on that show, each time calling a different story, with different reps. The delivery appeared again at my house, again (ONLY WITH THE MATTRESS). I had to go personally to the place and when I go, they tell me that they dont have a base in existence and that if I want it, I should go and look for it myself in the large concourse and that I dont have the right to return it either.... AWFUL PLACE, HORRIBLE SERVICE! !!!

Why it’s very simple they have a wonderful staff, that is well prepared and professional, please ask for Camilio, I promise you wont disappointed. This man is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

He was also very caring, as I wasn’t feeling too well, and gave me water and waited until I felt ok to continue. would definitely recommend this store!

2022-07-05I went in with my daughter to buy a mattress and was met by Camilio, the Sleep Expert. I had a vague idea as to what I wanted. Camilio, proceeded to methodically explain the various options available to me while at the same time have me try the different mattresses. My daughter was also contemplating on buying a mattress but at a future date. Camilio also engaged her by answering all her questions and concerns and had her try the different mattresses as well. I was impressed with Camilios patience and the fact that he never pressured us into buying a specific mattress. His patience was also evident when we asked him to breakdown the bill for different scenarios. Needless to say, both my daughter and I purchased a mattress and accompanying adjustable frame! Camilio is an excellent salesman and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is interested in buying a mattress!
