When I walked into the store, there were two employees seated talking to each other. Neither greeted me nor offered help. As I walked through the store, several other employees walked passed me like I didn’t exist. I would never purchase furniture from here with this type of customer service.
Had a great experience. Tom in the mattress department was very helpful and even followed up with me the next day to get a faster delivery time for me. Great job!
We were looking for a couch that was on sale, even though we were standing in the middle of the store with workers all around, not one person even looked in our direction.
Not a single sales rep approached us for help and there were a solid 10 of them standing around doing nothing. Selection is meh at best with 90 percent of the couches being a plain light grey color. Store itself is nice and clean which is why I gave it two stars.
Went into Macys while they were having a sale because I wasnt happy with the couches I was seeing anywhere else. We had just left another popular furniture store where the saleswoman was being very pushy an a lower quality couch. In Macys, we were left alone to browse without any salesmen hounding us...and found the perfect one! After confirming the couch, we wanted to browse one more time & even found a dining room table, too! It was a great experience. Delivery & set up were professional and pain-free. I would highly recommend Macys & Im sure well be back for more in the future.
Huge store with a lot of furniture to look at. It seems like there is a lot of empty space where they can fit more actual furniture in there. They have rooms set up to show how a entire room full of furniture will look which is nice. Helpful service to help you find what you need.
I felt profiled. There were two sales reps close to the door that saw me walk in and said nothing to me. I stood in the same spot for 15 mins approx. People saw me and walked by. I left, went to Raymour and Flanigan and bought an entire bedroom for $3200.

Great service... found what we wanted... decent price...I like the no pressure or anyone hanging over you. Also Macys is known for good furniture... not cheap stuff...I just really want the spinning round table...I just want one.
How can a store operate and stay in business when you cant order what you want because the salespeople say there is a problem with ordering certain items? Lost a sale and a customer due to faulty systems, poorly trained associates and false advertising. Really boggled the mind. Would have give zero stars except the salespeople were friendly.
Its great that theres a large, flagship level Macys Furniture Gallery location on the island. As far as I know, the only other major Furniture Gallery location, lies within Macys at 34 st (Herald Square). Ive honestly only ever gone in out of pure driven curiosity, as to what lies inside, as well as a second/third time when my household made the move to a new house. That being said, Id greatly recommend one to check it out when furniture shopping, as its rare to find anything like it at any other regular Macys location. I do know for a fact that Mattresses are also sold here. You have access to financing options through the Star Rewards Credit Card as well.
My experience with Macys furniture the two Lady s that sold us the sectional couch know what they were doing above expertion. The guy s the moved the piece in place very pleased. I absolutely love it definitely would let my family and friends know that Macys furniture in a must look and buy.

Huge showroom with great selections. Janet was helpful and even called to follow up after my furniture delivery. Older gentlemen at mattress section was pure salesman.
Unable to reach the store by phone, was transferred 3 times by international Customer Service Representatives who were unable to call the store directly.

Horrible experience, was looking around and stopped in a mirror for a second to fix my hair and an employee told me to leave, when i asked why he simply pointed at the exit. The store Itself is clean however terrible employees like that show why no one ever shops there.
Went in looking at mattresses saw that there was a closeout mattress the salesperson was very easy not pushy showed us the one told us some details we did not know about bought and will be delivered next week easy and very stress free
And the woman carried the chair to my carBecause my hips had surgery.Really nice

Big show room, fair prices when there are sales. As with any show room, sales people tend to follow you around, but theyre helpful and friendly.

I went to return some things that I ordered but I will try not to go. half of the people who entered did not wear masks. I was surprised that the store is so irresponsible with those who want to take care of themselves and more because you cannot ask them if they have already been vaccinated. Many people would lie. 2021-05-11I bought my living room furniture and rugs from Macy’s and I have to say price wise it’s ok. The quality however is low. People are kinda helpful but they work on commission only, so if you’re a tire kicker they won’t give you enough attention. Overall since there’s no competition around this seems to be a good place to shop for furniture

2021-09-04We bought a couch and a stain protection plan that we were supposed to get back, $300, if we didnt file a claim. Macys never filed the plan, so we get nothing back. We were cheated. Dont buy a protection plan, they just rip off the customer.

2021-03-14I bought a couch in December that I was told was an “in stock item” and would be delivered in about a month. I received 4 emails since then telling me about delays due to covid. I definitely understand delays and back ordered items but this is too much. I purchased a couch because I needed a couch and was ok with waiting some time but this is ridiculous. Consistently being told 10 more days with no explanation as to where the pieces to the couch are and no one to tell you when they are coming is not acceptable. I ordered other items from bobs and raymour without a 4 month wait. Never again!

2020-12-27Macy,a Furniture Gallery, at Staten island Mall is a good place for furniture shopping. My family came to know from our friends/Macy,s customers that their furniture is of best quality. We bought Dining chairs and found very good quality. The price may be little higher ,but with discounts, you can get good price.
