I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation. My overall experience was great. The assistant manager Rhasheen was very friendly. My vehicle was serviced sufficiently and in and out in a timely manner. I will definitely be going back in the future and highly recommend.
I work in the area of the location on Delaware and I had been there a few times in one week due to a slow leak so which I thought was a valve problem and the counter attendant Jeffrey saw me outside a few times and today he was so nice to offer to look at it for me and fix it come to find out there was a nail stuck in it Trevor hopped rite on it and Vincent helped as well!!! All of the employees here are exceptional with Customer Service and I would recommend they to anyone I knowThank you gentlemen for your great work and service.🤩💯
I needed my brakes done and my tire was wobbly. Dan and Jeff were a great help. They were super fast and provided great service. I would definitely go back for future repairs.
Went for tires to be installed that I had ordered online and found out I had a broken lug nut. They work real hard and finally got it off and even though I have to pay for them to replace it and didn’t feel like I was getting ripped off or anything. Also got an alignment job done in the car already feel so much better on the road.The customer service was great and the mechanics/tire techs were professional

I ordered tires off Amazon. With the tire install, man I was impressed, On time, mounted and balanced. They were very professional and courteous to me I highly recommend this mavis. So i woke up this morning with a flat tire. Put aur in to make it to Mavis. Dan helped me mount my spare tire and was very kind. The best part....he did it for me for free and said that money can go towards your tiresBest tire experience ever! See you in June Dan to get my new tires to pass inspection. 😉
I took my car to Mavis for some suspicious noises and the staff diagnosed the problem quickly. They showed me exactly what was wrong and what they would be fixing. Jeff was so helpful and kept me updated every step of the way. The prices are also extremely reasonable and a big reason why I always take my car to Mavis.
I had a nail in my tire and needed a plug. Even though it was almost closing time Dan Rhasheen and Jeff went the extra mile to get me in all fixed up and on my way. Great group of guys and exceptional customer service..
They have free air for your tires and theyre really nice. I had to have them plug my tire I was in and out in less then 10 min. The guy who fixed my tires name was Jeff hes really nice and honest and I would send everyone I know there.

I almost got ripped off with this place for the qoute on my car issue regarding the noise underneath while driving & braking. The guy told me that the front bearing, brakes & rotors need to be replace & it will cost me $1725. + tax + the days of wait because they have to order the parts to the dealer 😳😡🤬. Good thing I went to another auto shop & get a second assesment & got it fix quickly and it only cost me less than $200. It was only the caliper & brake fluids needed to be done. So beware taking your car here and make sure to get second assessment first. Good luck!
I walked in without an appointment and Curtis was able to get me in fast. He was thorough in explaining the details of my service today and gave me a wonderful price. I will be back!
This place is shaking folks down for all they got. Do not trust them to take care of you here— if youre not mechanically inclined you will be sat with a huge bill for unnecessary parts and labor.I needed a NYS Inspection on short notice and was told your front left caliper is stuck, needs to be replaced. OK, fine. They handed me the quote for the caliper replacement at $233, brake system flush at $100, and pads and rotors at $380. The quote totaled $724, and $500 of that work wasnt even explained to me. I said thank you and peace-d out.I waited a couple days and brought my car to a local family owned repair shop and they said the calipers checked out, some slight oxidization but unstuck. I passed inspection that day with a $21 bill.
Curtis got my European model car in quick and did a fantastic job. Id highly recommend this shop to anyone.The workers seem happy, too. Thats something that matters to me a lot.
I am a 3 time customer and so far, this location has always been accommodating. My visit today was due to needing new breaks on my two front tires. I also let them know that I previously failed an inspection at another place due to my breaks not passing. The associate said that they would wave my inspection fee which I felt was exceptionally great service especially because I did not even fail my inspection at a Mavis location. My second observation is that every time I walk in to this place for service, I am ALWAYS fit in to get service right away. I used to spend a lot of time calling around to different locations to find a same day appointment. Thank you Mavis for exceeding my expectations.
Much better than the mavis on parkhurst and Sheridan. Cheaper than other places, quick & good service, and straight to the point. I got 2 tires and an alignment and everything looks & feels good. Went to amton a couple days before and they quoted me $150 more per ball joint than this mavis and they gave me a huge list of stuff “wrong” and said I need to get a new car. Mavis was straight forward, told me what I need to get done and did what I could afford for today and I’m most likely going back to this location to have the rest (ball joint and brakes) done.
Had to changed to 1 star after my last two visit there. they only filled my tires up 30 psi each, that jus over half pumped. when each tire Specifically states max 49 psi . I could have pop a tire or went off the rode for driving with low air in my tires . I own a 98 Honda so there no low tire indicator I had to hook up My pump to read the 30 psi on each tire. On top of all that each time I came in to gave my own tires installed the price kept changing increasing each time.
I initially scheduled an oil change for Monroe and drove to Mavis by mistake. And Rasheen help get in within 5 mins because I was on ky lunch break! His customer service was friendly, quick on the dime and efficient! Thank you so much Mavis; especially Rasheen
I usually go to mavis in Binghamton NY and I am treated very well there since I have 6 to 8 cars. Went to Mavis Delaware Ave Buffalo with tire that was leaking air. I was told couldnt plug it need new tire. Then they tell me all my tires need replacing as my rear struts are bad and have chewed up all the tires. Never thought Mavis would take advantage of me because I am a woman but this one did! I said just do the tires. Was told better get the struts soon or I would ruin the new tires. Then I was charged $19.99 each for balancing and $99.99 for alignment which I was told didnt need much adjustment.I went to Mavis in Binghamton 2 days later. I was told the shocks are not leaking and there is nothing wrong with them. All my tires had good tread and I recommend people in Buffalo be aware of this shop on Delaware Ave Buffalo. They are theives!!
Best Mavis experience I have had yet! Dan, Jeff and Rhasheen made a bad situation positive! I did not feel like I was being taken advantage of at all.. definetly will be going back to Mavis..
Had to stop by after my engine splash shield became loose. They reattached it in 5 minutes, free of charge. I will definitely be coming back in the future.

Great service, for the available workforce, that is. Very understaffed and very busy - felt sorry for the person in charge both times that I had service there. The waiting room was full, and people were patient, and it was obvious that the staff there were trying the best they could, but they still had to turn people away. I was pleased that they were finished with my tires as quickly as they were. I will go back to this location for service again, maybe with an appointment next time.

After needing rotators and pads for the front and back you know i felt sick. However Dan explained and took me underneath my car and explain I just was SMH However you know when you worried if you are getting beat he did assure me that he was going to work with me. But it wasnt untill Curtis at the front Desk assured me that they would not try to beat me but to help me I felt a Better that I had to go ahead and do it. Absolutely the worst place to go to get anything done these clowns couldnt even do an alignment right then I spend 900 dollars on tires and then one blows and they want to charge me another 190 even after the warranty how does a warranty work when I can legit buy 2 new tires for what they are charging will never be going back if I could give it zero stars I would
I needed the inspection done on my car before the month was up and I gave them a call. The employee on the phone was very professional and gave me a heads up that they were very busy but told me he could squeeze me into the schedule. Told me to come in and 7:00PM and I showed up on time. The employee at the counter welcomed me in nicely and asked what service I needed done. I told him I needed an inspection and he told me it wasnt a problem but there would be about a 1 hour wait. I gave them my keys and stepped outside for a phone call. Sure enough it was 8:00PM on the dot and my car was done. 10/10 For service. Will definitely come back in the future. All the staff was professional and I felt comfortable leaving my car in their care.

Update: Switched my snow and winter tires and they didn’t put all the hubcaps in the trunk with my summer tires. Now I’m short a hubcap, in part I didn’t unload my car and notice for 2 weeks that I left with three. Otherwise it would be 5 stars.Original: Patched my tire!Waiting room is chilly but we were also asked if we wanted it warmer. The TV is great because you can turn it off to stop the noise, some places lock the TV up to play ads, which I abhor.

I called Mavis on early Friday afternoon to get inspection and oil change that day. Paul told me they were booked. Told me hed squeeze me in if I dropped it off. My vehicle was ready within hour and a half. He was extremely pleasant and accommodating.When I first met him, I knew he was going to do an excellent job. Highly recommend this place. I referred my brother to him. He has appointment tomorrow with them.

PLEASE READ FIRST... I usually dont write reviews, but bare minimum CONFIRM THEY ACTUALLY HAVE YOUR TIRE SIZE IN STOCK!!! I was locked in and had set an appointment for a $399.00 plus tax, full 4-tire replacement, but was told within two hours of dropping my vehicle off that they apparently did not have my selected tire size in stock, and that the next cheapest option was near twice the cost ($140.00 per tire as opposed to my originally quoted $79.00 per tire). Instead of owning up to this inventory error immediately upon calling me, they tried to squeeze me for a couple hundred bucks. The sales Associate I spoke to said he would have to talk to his manager before he could assist me on any kind of price adjustment... however, I got the impression that they hoped I would just roll over and accept this extra charge. While waiting for a callback I got a quote from a different, local tire shop, and was able to save approximately $100.00+ on the entire job (turns out whatever price Mavis quotes you on the phone does not include a TPMS check and a Tire recycling fee, approximately an additional $50.00... go figure). When I originally set up the appointment the person I talked to said he’d make me a Mavis customer for life, this unfortunately was not the case... This was essentially a BAIT AND SWITCH, so be careful.Sidenote: (I recommend Fox Tire on William St. if you want a decent price and experience)
I called around to a few places on a Sunday hoping to get my car in later that afternoon for an inspection. I called Mavis and they were able to squeeze me in within the hour I called! I really appreciated that. Quick and friendly service. I know where Ill be taking my car from now on. Highly recommend!

First and foremost let’s just talk about the service here at Mavis Tire, EXCEPTIONAL! The mechanics are great and the service was quick and fast. Secondly, Justin?! Yea he’s the best! He made sure all guests were comfortable and provided a quick and efficient check in with updates on the fixtures of your vehicle. Not to mention everyone wore masks and made sure guests felt safe while waiting. 10/10 I highly recommend!
Highly recommend this location! I confused my reservation time for an oil change, and still was taken care of with no stress. Justin was so kind and gave me an estimate wait time of an hour because they were quite busy...and for not having an appointment I thought that was more than fair. My car was ready much sooner than I anticipated and overall the staff there is so friendly. I’ve been here once before to get a tire patched and had a wonderful experience, so today validated that I will continue to come back for all my car repairs!

I brought my 2004 Buick LeSabre in for an alignment.They told me two front tires and two front tie rods.The car still pulls to the right and I hear noise in the front end as if something was not put together correctly.I am taking it back so they can fit itMaybe I will change my start rating if they get it right and try not to tell me I need other work done.In all over $1800 I should need nothing else.Update:Returned the vehicle so they can do my alignment properly, this is after they other work. I was treated with unprofessionalism and attitude by the slim curly-haired manager. He claimed to have a sort of the issue after giving me tons of attitude as if I did not have the right to write an unflattering review based on the truth. Needless to say my issue was not sorted. I contacted customer service and they said that they will have the regional manager Corey contact me. All in all I would not take my vehicle to this particular Mavis..
I had a great experience here today I felt inclined to leave a raving review which I never do. I have had an ongoing issue with a tire shop chain up the street which will remain un-named where my tire was damaged and I refused to bring it back to the other shop. I called Mavis Discount tire and spoke with Justin, he was very professional, friendly, and courteous. He advised me that I could bring in my vehicle right away but it may take up to an hour to and hour in a half for it to be fixed. HOWEVER, when I got there I was immediately greeted and my issue was addressed as soon as I walked in. It was a semi-small issue that was caused by another shop that they fixed in less than a half hour. Another customer even came in while I was waiting and went up to the desk and was surprised how promptly their labor was done. Justin managed to wait on me and three other people who walked in and managed to get me out of there within a half hour. My 7 year old son also wanted to be his new best friend, very personable and willing to assist. Definitely will be returning in the future, and have recommended them to my parents, who are reluctant to patronize them as well. It is difficult to find auto shops and mechanics that are reputable, and this was none other than a pleasant surprise. Not only did I mention I was referred to them from a friend that they assisted months ago. Thank you Justin and crew for your wonderful service!

I had been a customer at Mavis, then it became a Rip Off. Business changed hands and I go back to find out that they are selling Defected tires. I bought 4 Brand New Goodyear 70 thousands miles, with a Warranty and today I had to buy another New Tire for $127. So, I paid almost $850 for 5 tires with 95 days and I’m feeling very unsafe. Put Safety First and Stay Away from Mavis Cheaply Discount Tires!
Paul provided excellent customer service and took the time to find out what was really going on with my car. I complained of noise and shaking at high speeds and he verified this by driving with me in the car. He also provided a a regular customer discount. I got the car back and the car no longer made any sounds or shook.

I’ve been a frequent flyer at Mavis over the past two weeks. Lots of car trouble, but Justin and Nick are always there to help fix my issues while providing excellent customer service. Got me in for an inspection at the drop of a hat. Really appreciate their efficiency. FIVE STARS. Ten outta ten. Would recommend. Definitely will be back, hopefully not too soon though ;) Justin is the best.
I had an issue with my vehicles splash shield. I called Mavis in the hopes they could fix it quickly without me having to have my car towed. Jeff at Mavis ran over to where I was parked in the Marshalls Plaza and helped me out. Excellent customer service, especially considering he was being a kind person and fixing my car without bringing it into the shop.
I would give this place a zero if I could. This was my second visit and the second was even worse than the first. I had made an appointment about a week prior to my visit to get an oil change and inspection. I arrived at my scheduled time and the gentleman at the desk was flustered. I gave him my appointment number and he told me they were very busy and that he “wished they didn’t schedule people when they are already so busy.” Those with appointments should take priority over walk-ins, so once they hit capacity, walk-ins should be turned away. In any event, once he understood that I made my appointment a week ago, he said they would take me. Great, thank you for honoring the appointment that I made via your own system. He then filled out the forms and asked me for my keys. I asked how long it would take and he told me “easily 2 - 2.5 hours.” I asked for my keys back and left. What is the point of making an appointment to sit there for over 2 hours for an oil change and inspection, which should take maybe a half hour? The cherry on top was that the man helping me (and most people in the shop) were not wearing masks. They are in customers’ cars all day long and then those customers get into their cars and drive away, trusting they are being safe and following the state-mandated guidelines. Shame on them.
I recently got a lot of work done from this location that included new brake pads, rotors, all season tires, a synthetic oil change, and a NYS inspection. I had to space it over a few days due to my hectic schedule. Each time I entered the property, I was greeted with a friendly hello that included my name by the manager, Paul. He was very personable and welcoming. The prices that I paid for at the shop were very reasonable, included sale prices, and were very competitive. I was explained by Paul what they were going to replace and why. We even talked about different options while being shown what was going on with my car inside the garage. Paul never talked down to me or was condescending like most mechanical garages have done to me in the past. There was good communication between him and the workers in the garage at all times. I am very happy I decided to get my car maintenance done at this location and will definitely be a returning customer for any future work needed. I highly recommend this place.

Got brakes and wheels replaced here.Good overall service for the price paid.The one thing they could improve on is; when I replaced the tires they jammed the tires back in my boot without plastic, making the roof fabric dirty.They could be more careful next time.They seemed hurried to get the job done, but without being detail oriented.

I’ve had a number of trips to this Mavis. All my experiences have been positive. The staff is helpful and I feel are looking out for my best interest. My last serviceman Nick was particularly helpful. When my wife drove over a nail, she called ahead and Nick took us right away. In and out in less than 10min!
Went here with a specialty tire (165 65 r14) off my can-am spyder just needed it mounted and balanced. 3 other shops either turned me away or gave me wait time of over 4 hours. Called here and they said of course they could do it! In and out in 10 minutes. Only place I go when I need tires on anything I own, hands down best shop and customer service!

I’ve taken my car here for a few years and have always had good service. Everyone was very friendly. Paul was very accommodating and fit me in his busy schedule (especially since inspections have been backed up due to Covid). They worked with my schedule and had the car ready for me to pick up when they said they would.
I have been going to this Mavis Tire for just over 2 years now. They have always been helpful, accommodating, friendly, and informative. I feel safe and comfortable taking my car there for everything Ive needed from oil changes, to flat tires, and a new alternator. Today, I needed an oil change and Justin was so helpful with scheduling a time for me to get my car in last minute. DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION OR MAVIS.Double check that the work requested was actually done before you leave.Initially brought my car in to get a tire rotation and flat repair. Called ahead and was told they could get me in for an appointment at 1:30, but when I got there, they told me itd be hours before it was done. I left my car and picked it up 3-4 hours later, paying for my services and assuming the work needed was complete.Two days later, the same tire that was fixed was completely flat and still on the front, driver side. In other words, not only was my flat not repaired, but my tires were not rotated.I called Mavis back, and they were able to get me in immediately to actually perform the services requested before. I ended up driving away and having a low tire pressure warning appear 2 minutes later. Had to go back to get air in all of my tires, but would assume they should check before I drive away.Back to 1 star after realizing the caps on my valve stems were never replaced....

My tire randomly started losing air, called Mavis and they let me come right in! The gentleman who answered the phone was super nice and cautioned me they were busy so it might take longer than usual. Well they sure were busy but my car was done in an hour. I encountered 3 different staff and all were so courteous! Bravo Mavis!

I use this tire store on several occasions and appreciate their good service and their 7 day a week hours. I had a nail in my tire so I stopped by about 15 minutes before opening when the manager and the staff walked in.to my pleasant surprise they opened the doors and let their customers in a few minutes early to get going. I thanked Anthony the manager and he said theres no reason to keep people waiting all I can say was thats terrific!. With managers like Anthony the store will continue to succeed.
Justin at the Delaware location is amazing. He was able to get my car in and looked at on a Sunday at 4 p.m. they close at 5 and he had my car finished, gree of charge. 10/10, recommend.

Stopped by for a tire repair. Even with them being booked out until 830, Paul got me right in and out with a quick fix and got me on my way. Shout out to this location for making things happen and getting it done.
Wanted 2 tires replaced it should’ve come out to 350$, even after they didn’t have the tires I had to special order 2 weeks in advance which resulted in me getting an off brand product. When I go to pay I’m told it’s almost 500 because they did an inspection, which I didn’t ask for, and found there was a problem but when I try to say I didn’t want the inspection they insisted that I pay because they did the unwanted inspection and needed to be paid for the manpower. I wouldn’t trust a place that has a waiting area full of people not wearing masks resulting in me waiting outside in the rain. They also had the audacity to tell me how they gave me a bunch of free stuff and to give them a great review. To sum it up don’t trust someone who makes you wait 4 hrs for a simple tire change before making you pay 100$ more than you agreed to pay.They probably tell everyone that something is wrong with their car and it’ll cost more to fix it.
This is my first visit to Mavis for service, and I had a general idea what needed to be done, which was my back brakes. I also had some minor service needs, inspection, oil change. Although the job did take longer than estimated, and my car didnt pass inspection initially, Anthony the Manger on duty, worked with me on the issues, and after a second visit, worked everything out. I would recommend Mavis for brakes, tires, suspension, and other general maintenance or service needs. The staff is definitely friendly and the customer service is Good.
I went to Mavis for an inspection and assistance attaching my NY plates. I called and they were able to get me in right away. I personally dealt with Justin and he was great. Very friendly and professional.

The customer service here is absolutely great. They always help me make informed decisions and of course excellent prices on tires and mounting. My only issue is a two ays ago i went to have new wipers put on they told me oh! Not long at all. I got there at 9:50 am and left at 10:55. There were only two cars in the bays and plenty of people working so im not sure why it took so long but needless to say I did not want to wait that long for two windshield wipers. However the windshield wipers are top of the line and properly installed. They are perfect. Also a great thing to know is they have a digital air pump FREE for anyone outside the building to the right of the entrance.
On Tuesday 3/2/2021 I left ECMC for a doctors appointment. When I was getting ready to leave the PSI level on my front drivers side tire was down to 17. I have a 2020 Chevy Blazer and the rims are pretty expensive. I was so afraid I would bend my rim but drove slowly with my hazards on praying it wouldnt go completely flat. My husband has his own small construction business and he was working in North Buffalo that day, I never thought to call roadside assistance because I was panicking. My husband was on a roof and wasnt able to come down and change the tire and told me to go to Mavis Tire on Delaware Ave. in the Marshalls/Shoe Depot Plaza. I did go to Mavis right away and I walked in and asked a young man named Justin if he could please look at my tire. He said he was by himself at that time and wasnt sure he could get me in right away. But quickly said, Ill come out maam. He looked at the tire and said I had a screw and some other metal objects stuck in the tire. He asked permission to pull it in and they were able to salvage the tire and I was out of there in a half hour. I know as I too work in Customer Service, I do Property and Casualty Insurance and at times we all get overwhelmed. This young man didnt let that get in his way. A perfect gentleman. SO IF YOU EVER NEED TIRES OR SERVICE, ASK FOR JUSTIN! Great guy and excellent customer service! I will probably eventually have to get a new tire, and I will most definitely go to MAVIS! Thanks Justin, you were a life saver in a pinch!
The staff here was amazing! Nick went above and beyond to make sure me and my vehicle were taken care of. I pulled in on a whim desperate for help with my vehicle and Nick made sure to figure out the problem and helped me feel at ease that everything would be okay! And it was! Thank you!

I was greeted as soon as I entered with helpful employees for my 4:00pm appointment. They were quick and efficient. I was able to leave my appointment with no worries. I’m always worried that when I go to a mechanic they will give me a problem with my car. No problem at all! I will be back

I had a slow leak in my tire this morning, so I called Mavis Discount Tire on Delaware Avenue in Buffalo. I spoke with Anthony who told me that they had an opening and would be able to get me right in. Upon arrival I was greeted by Anthony and he did indeed get my vehicle right in for the repair. I can’t say enough about the excellent service I received. These folks were awesome! This place (and any Mavis for that matter) is by far the worst experience I have ever had at an auto shop. They are untrained, unprofessional, understaffed consistently, and good luck ever seeing any of their employees wearing a mask. They will recommend unnecessary repairs and ignore any real underlying issues your car my be having. They will keep you in the lobby waiting for hours even if you have an appointment. If I had to choose between coming back here and swallowing glass, I’ll eat a whole china shop any day.
I would give this place 0 stars if i could. The customer service here is absolutely terrible. I came in to get my two front tires and wheel alignment done. Dropped my car off at 11:00am and never heard from them for the entire day. I had to call back and when i did the person I spoke with continued to cut me off and was very nasty with me. When i got back an hour before they closed because they never called to let me know it was ready, my wheel alignment wasn’t done because they said i needed new ti rods. After going back and forth they said to bring it in the next day and they would replace the ti rods and wheel alignment free of charge. They said drop it off at 10:00am and it would be ready by 2 or 3:00pm. Again i never received a call saying my car was ready and had to call back and be placed on hold for ten minutes. Had to hang up and call back again just so i wouldn’t be put on hold all for them to say my car was ready at 12 and blame me for waiting because i should’ve been there at 2 anyways. Don’t go here.
After scheduling an appointment online, I brought my car in to purchase 4 all season tires. The representative behind the counter told me that I scheduled service and not a new tire purchase and mount. He proceeded to insist that I look at his computer to confirm my mistake. A few days before my appointment, I received a phone call from this Mavis location to confirm that I would pick out the new tires in store. After this was sorted out, the rep began condescendingly lecturing me on different tires instead of suggesting a new set. He then told me 2-3 hours, so I left my car there. My car was ready for pick up 6 hours later - So I’m not too sure what the purpose of scheduling an appointment online is. When I picked it up that same rep told me it needed an alignment and this was on the bill. He eventually removed this from the bill as I did not authorize it. When I got in my car, my new tires were at 66, 20, 23, and 26 psi respectively when my car calls for 36 psi. I took care of this on my own as I had no desire to engage with the same rep who was both rude and condescending. Avoid this place and spend your money locally with a company that values customer satisfaction and loyalty.
My tire had a screw in it and was leaking air. I called ahead and asked if they could plug it for me - Justin was able to get me in right away! It didnt take long at all either.

I had a last minute problem with an air leak from my rear passenger tire prior to my trip to Pittsburgh. To make matters worse, the interior metal of my rim lock (I have a Mazda) was completely stripped, preventing the employees from detaching the suspect tire from the car. Anthony, the attending manager, not only advised me on how to replace the rim lock at no additional cost to myself, but was flexible and able to squeeze me in for a last minute tire fix so that I would be able to make my trip safely and efficiently.TD;DR: Anthony, the attending manager did a fantastic job. Highly recommend him for his knowledge, professional demeanor, and friendliness.

On Saturday, I scheduled an appointment for a inspection and they said their next available appointment was Monday at 8:00 AM. I show up to my appointment and they said the inspector was not in. We made an appointment for Tuesday, 8:00AM.Well... here we are Tuesday morning. I show up to my 8:00AM appointment to be told that there are THREE people ahead of me. How on earth are there three people ahead of me when opening hours are 8:00AM ??? What it REALLY is a first come first serve basis.I would of appreciated some honesty; instead I was lied to my face not once but twice. Never doing business Mavis Discount Tire.

I cannot sing enough praises. Our car desperately needed new brakes and a new rotor, as one was warped. We were unsure which rotor needed replacing. They replaced the rear rotors and added new pads all around. Unfortunately, once we drove the car, we noticed the same issues with the rotor. Turns out they were the front. They offered to replace the front rotors, if that’s where the problem was, and they did. The staff is friendly, service is fast and the prices are truly unbeatable. They’ve certainly gained a new client! Thank you!

Not a good experience. Paul is very unprofessional. went in for wheels alignment. took me about 6 min to give him my name and address because he was trying to talk on the phone and help me. told me my car would be an hour so I walked to bagel jays in the parking lot for 1.5 hours and went to check on my cart and Its had not moved. kinda gave me attitude whenI asked why it wasnt even started so I left. great place to waste time

***this location has free air***j wish I wouldve known this before bc Ive been filling my tires everyday. Im assuming it was the owner I chatted with today and he was very nice and customer service oriented. I needed to patch the valve stem and they did something to my rims bc my tires kept getting super low. He only charged me 20 a tire. If you need oil or tires I would reccomend this place. The wait was not too bad and it was super busy there. I made an appt though.

I made an appointment after coming in to get an inspection and there were no available appointments. I came back early for said scheduled appointment and was told that someone who was two hours late would be taken before me and I should come back the next day. I am a single mom and have been back too many times to count. Will never give this shop my business again. Shame on you for taking advantage of women!
Was in a bind trying to get home on Christmas Eve . They were able to plug my tire when other places told me they couldn’t help. Justin was extremely knowledgeable and was in able to get me in and out around 10 min. Truly a Christmas miracle!!
Every time I go here there’s an issue and a large amount of time wasted. There is no communication between shifts. And information given to you over the phone is not accurate when you get in store. All the staff members are not on the same page ever. I have left work early on more than one occasion to come to an appointment set at least a week in advance just to end up leaving two hours later with nothing done to my car. Mistakes are made in ordering parts for my car or other excuses. I have tried to give this place multiple chances and I end up burned every time.
A gentleman named Justin at this location was a great help to my wife.My wife purchased 4 new tires yesterday and the tire pressure in all 4 tires were lower than they should have been. When my wife brought her car back in to be checked. Justin went out of his way to get my wifes car in, lug nuts tightened, and tire pressure corrected. He was also very polite and apologetic even though he wasnt responsible for her tire having been filled to the wrong pressure.
Went in for an oil change and Justin helped me out and was so dope. I’ve been going to this mavis ever since I came up here for college. They most definitely get 5 stars from me!

The staff at the Delaware rd Mavis location are awesome. I called to schedule a NY state inspection and they told me to come right over. They got me right in after having worked a 12 overnight shift which was fantastic. They were efficient and quick. I Was in and out of there in 15-20 mins tops. Dont get anything done here! In February I called Mavis and made an appointment for new tires, oil change and an alignment. When I went to the store for my appointment at 10am the manager Paul tells me that I was quoted the wrong size tire and he recommends Vee Rubber tires that are recycled tires. Ok, fine. I also had them put a new front tire on my daughters car. I was charged almost $700 for everything and was there for 8 hours. I left with the employees at 6pm and was extremely agitated to say the least. I have not driven the van even 3,000 miles since then and the front tires are blown out with the belts sticking out. I take it back to Mavis today and Paul tells me that my front end is shot and I need tie rods, gear box and pitman arm. Keep in mind I also had the vehicle inspected at the end of May with no issues. Come to find out the tires he put on were 2 ply tires and not rated for the weight.of my 3/4 ton van. Paul then proceeds to tell me that I bought cheap junk tires and what do I want from him? He then tells me that hell sell me the right tires for $180 each. Needless to say Im very upset over this solution. I have saved the tires and put new ones on somewhere else. I intend to sue Mavis Tire for at least the cost of the tires and 12 hours of my time. If there were this many issues with my front end they should have been caught by them or the inspector in May. Bottom line is they sold me the wrong tires and wont stand behind what they do. Thank God that the tires didnt blow out when I had my family in the vehicle. Dont go to Mavis!
Satisfied with the tires but the miscommunications during scheduling have me hesitant to go back. Seems theres a call center that bills their appointments at the Delaware location because I was told I could take both my cars to get new tires the same day I called. When I arrived 15-20 minutes after my call, I was told there was no way my car could be started that day. Them theres the blindsided upsales that I loathe. And dont expect service with a smile At All!
I had an GREAT EXPERIENCE! I used their website to sort out tires just for my car which saved a lot of time. I found my tires based off price and reviews as well as a convenient numeric rating system to make comparing easy. Once I found my tires I was able to make my appointment for a time to come in. I did it all online with no problems, very convenient. When I showed up on the time and date they had a open bay right on time just for me. The service was excellent and I got a great deal AND A VETERANS discount.Final cost for 4 new tires installed $235VERY HAPPY

I took my car to this store to get my snow tires put on and when I returned to pay and pick up my car one of the employees had left it unlocked and my work bag (worth $300-400 with items inside) had been stolen from my car. The manager was adamant that no one from his store stole the bag. The employee that had worked on my car stated that the bag was in the car when he was done working on it and therefore someone passing by must have stolen it. Initially the company was apologetic and made it seem like they would compensate me for the stolen items. However, after contacting other employees from corporate they stated that they were not responsible for lost or stolen items. Does stating this rid them of any consequences of this action? I left my car in their hands. They admitted to leaving the car unlocked with the bag/items inside. How is this my fault? How do they have no responsibility for this?Edited:I talked to the manager who was apologetic and made it seem as though I would be compensated. I called that number. I have talked to at least three people. In the end, the consensus I received from them was that they were to do nothing to reimburse or compensate me for my stolen items, frustration, and time. Therefore, I wrote the review that you (Mavis) have now read and once again asked me to call for resolution of this issue. I never write reviews but this was just unacceptable to me. I’m glad I got your attention. If you feel as though, there will nowbe some sort of acceptable resolution to this situation, I will call again.

Made an appointment for oil change and inspection, after a hour of sitting there, they finally brought my car in. About 35-40 mins later they said my car was done. Well they did the inspection, however my oil change was not done considering my car still says I’m at 0% oil!!

2022-02-22Great customer service! My appointment was scheduled for 3pm but they allowed me to bring my car earlier. I brought my car in for an inspection and oil change. They brought me into the shop to show me that my tires needed to be changed and why. I really appreciated the need to explain and show me rather than just tell me I need new tires. I have been coming to Mavis for a few years now, and I have always left feeling confident my car has been taken care of.

2022-04-14I showed up on a flat bed early on a Thursday after blowing a tire on the 190. I called before having the tow truck drop me there and Jeff told me to come on in and they would take a look. An hour and a half later I had four brand new tires! Great service, excellent prices! Highly recommend.

2022-04-03I made an appointment late at night online for the next morning after I got a flat tire from running over a screw. I was very impressed with the service I received as well as the extended warranty I purchased on the tires from 2019 was still valid 3 years later and covered all costs for the repair! I was in and out within 30 minutes. During my short wait, I watched the associate treat everyone so kindly, accommodated walk-ins and made the whole experience seamless.I will definitely recommend the Delaware location to everyone!

Discovered that power steering fluid needed a flush as well and they took care of that as well. She has a long trip back to Oswego and Im comforted in knowing that her car will make the trip back without a problem thanks to these guys! 5 stars!

2022-02-23I had a tire blowout late in the day and in calling Mavis they willingly stayed open later for me to replace my tire at the Delaware Ave location. Rhasheen and Curt helped me out and replaced my tire super quick!!This was easily the best experience I have ever had getting my car fixed. Great customer service and super friendly. 2022-03-08I was trying to get my inspection done today and the typical places were all booked up or were very vague about their availability. I called here, was able to get a person, not an automated message and within 3 minutes I was scheduled to come in that day. This was confirmed immediately straight to my email. The service from the check -in process to the cash out was excellent. I didnt have to deal with anyone trying to upsell me something I didnt need and the location has shops near buy if I decided I didnt want to sit at the location and wait. I will stay local more often!

2022-05-16I was parked in the parking lot and came out to a flat tire. The guys were so kind and made time in their busy schedules to take a look at my tire. Once they determined they couldn’t patch it, they replaced it with a spare and made sure everything was safe for me to drive. I am very appreciative and thankful for them.
