This place is unprofessional and do not give correct help or information to their customers. We took a car here for specific tires that we were told they were getting for them to not actually have these tires available and we had to switch them. They then OVERfilled the tires. The tires were supposed to be 36 psi and they were at 52! They then called saying the back brakes needed to be done which they didn’t and they claimed they completed a front alignment which wasn’t completed. We got the car checked over by another mechanic professional because when we had left the shop, the car was shaking and driving unsafely because of the overfilled tires and nothing being completed correctly. DO NOT go here for tires or anything else because they will not be professionally completed or taken care of.

They complain about working hard and I probably do more work on accid than they do on purpose. Expect long delays and serious attitude. Customer service horrible. They got free air for your tire. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. I made an appointment 6 days im advance and was still treated like I was a thorn in their side. (And I killed them with kindness.)
Had a great experience with Vinny. He was very polite and respectful. This location is very clean everyone wore masks. Had my vehicle in and out in a timely manner.
Just had my tire fixed… Dan, the gentleman who helped me, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Did not try to sell me on things I didn’t need, which as a woman this generally happens when it comes to vehicles and repairs. Highly recommend them!! I live in the city of Buffalo and will definitely make the trip back back to Hamburg for service when needed in the future!
The guys over at Mavis were extremely helpful and really quick. They replaced my tire stem that broke off my tire, I was in and out in about 10 mins. I highly recommended this place if youre looking for quick and friendly service with a really fair price!

Jerry helped me very well with my alignment, great service from him. Sultan did an outstanding job on my two front tires. Easily the best two people who I have let work on my car. Both very trust worthy and extremely fast process, did not have to wait long at all!! Definitely recommend asking for those two when needing something done.

Guys working there really took care of me. Tire truck had broken down on the day of my appointment and they gave a good discount because of that which is much appreciated. Tires went in great with no damage to the rim (which has happened before), I’ll be getting new snow tires here in the winter.
This was my first time at this location and it was a excellent experience! Tim was fantastic as well as everyone else working there. I came in for what I thought was a suspension issue on my mazda 6. Turns out I just needed an alignment and tire balance. They also noticed part of my engine cover underneath my car was hanging and they fixed that free of charge! I will definitely be coming back for future service!

Although the brake and shock job took longer than expected on May 12th, it was due to daily delivery issues for the required parts. The staff made sure I was well informed on the progress and delays as they occurred. The front end staff were very apologetic, and ultimately, the delayed service was well reflected in the cost. The staff appeared to enjoy their jobs, and everyone was helpful and polite. I would highly recommend this shop!

Had the best experience with this place. Started the day off on a terrible note… popped a tire. Put the spare on myself and went to this shop to get the tire patched and put back on. They took it in right away and threw it on the car in no more than 10 minutes. Was able to carry on with my day like usual day n no time. The guy was named Adam… top notch. Had a slow leak in one of my tires. Called the day of and the guys were super nice and told me to come in ASAP and would take care of it for me. Brought it in and had it done within a half hour and didn’t even charge me! Super nice of them and very appreciative. Definitely will be back.

Made an appointment, staff hadnt shown up for work that day. Only had one mechanic and a counter guy. 2 hours later for just a balance of 4 tires.
Jerry assisted me. Even though they gave me a discount form the start, I got my truck back after an alignment and the steering wheel was not straight and pulled hard to the right. Took it back right after and they seemed like they absolutely did not want to take it back in after I told them what was going on. After they finally did they said they didn’t calibrate the machine for my truck and tire size. (which should’ve been done to begin with) He did not care that he wasted half of my day.

Came into this location today because the Walmart across the street would not fix my tire for me. When I went inside I was greeted by two men who said they weren’t sure if they could fix it, but they’d do what they could to try and fix it. I left the store with my tire being fix and now it appears to be keeping the air in. Thank you two for your help! I recommend that everyone should stop here before checking out other places, the workers were awesome and very nice!

It was getting late on a Monday night and I needed to have a new battery for my Chevy Trax. I called and spoke with the manager Tim, he told me if I got over there right away they would take care of it before they closed. Even though it was late in the day they took care of me. What amazing service. So glad I found a place close to the house that takes good care of what I need. Awesome job!!! Why go anywhere else....

Went there today. Was supposed to go yesterday but there was a confusion between my order and my brothers order with tires. It was my fault since we both used my phone number. But they cleared that right up and I was in and out in less than an hour with four brand new tires. Quality work. Plus their prices wont break your wallet. They have pretty much any tire you can possibly think of or want. Customer service was phenomenal. You just got yourself a lifelong customer.
I came in the store for a oil change and jerry greeted me and helped me out right away. They had Adam work on it and he was very fast and efficient fastest oil change I’ve seen!! Jerry proceeded to give me company and was very nice!

Very accommodating. We had to miss our original appointment but the staff was able to get us in later on the same day. They were very thorough and efficient. They also gave us fair pricing.
I bought 4 new tires from Mavis and had them mount them along with doing an alignment. They were friendly enough and the service seemed fine. Fast forward a few months and I notice my steering wheel was not straight at all. I didn’t take it in immediately because I was able to drive fine and it was during the social distance regulations and I was trying to avoid unnecessary appointments. I eventually had to take my vehicle to my dealership for warranty work at which point they pointed out that my tires were all backwards. I didn’t even know that was a thing. Turns out the tires I bought had to be put in specific spots and they were not. I brought it back to Mavis and they fixed both the alignment and the tires BUT I was met with a blank stare with a hand out for the keys. I didn’t ask for any discount or anything like that but it would’ve been nice for them to acknowledge their mistake with some kind of apology for the inconvenience of the whole situation. A simple apology of any kind would have avoided a review to be honest. I don’t think this shop takes very much pride in their work or their customer service and that’s a shame.

I walked in to get my windshield wipers replaced, descent deal- buy one, get one half, but more importantly, I asked if they could repair my squirts that weren’t working. They did not have the parts, but they went to pick them up and changed them within a quick time frame. Last month, I made an appointment for a tire repair with an appointment and it worked out great. This time, no appointment, and it all worked out great! Great team all around! Friendly, personable, efficient and reasonable. I will return with any of my vehicle issues that occur in the future. I went there today, spur of the moment, to get a new battery and have something tightened. I was greeted immediately and was taken care of.y car was done in a reasonable amount of time with no appt! The prices were great and service was amazing!Definitely going back.
I just want to tell you about an awfull experience I had with a free alignment due to a previous bad experience at the Lockport store. Also, the manager ar the Lockport store that gave me his business card mentioning the free alignment and replacement of my Toyota hub caps which was never taken care of is no longer there when I stopped in. I am at Dunn Tire in West Seneca and told me the alignment is all screwed up, the tires would be ruined if I kept driving the car, it is like a V with your hands and spreading your hands out. I called Tim the manager on duty today and he appologized, but really didnt care, told me all the other locations like Depew, think I am going to go somewhere else now? Mavis is AWFULL, go to Dunn Tire, and their District Manager, Bob Ziolkowski will make things right.

Had an appointment for a tire change at 4 pm. I figured an hour max, the wait was 2 hours after an hour and a half and the tires still weren’t put back on I asked an employee how much longer it was going to be. His response was “I don’t know, why?” I responded that my appointment was at 4 and I think this is getting kind of ridiculous. He informed me it’s harder than it looks. This place literally does tires as their main business and they can’t do tire change in an hour? I left as the employees were putting on their jackets to go home. They gave me a $20 discount I believe for my wait. Then on my ride home every tiny bump in the road made my car sound like it was falling apart. I will be taking it to my own mechanic to find out what’s wrong because I don’t trust that they didn’t do something to my car.
Great place. They seem genuine, do good work and can be flexible. I have never had a negative experience here and they are willing to go the extra mile to make sure you get the best outcome possible. Highly recommend this place!

But I was not impressed my truck was not being taken by the appt. I made, rather having been told it would take a 2 hour wait to be serviced. That’s ridiculous! That shop didn’t honor my appt. I’ll never go back there again. They need a manager change. Thanks mavis.
Stopped here because our tire blew out on the way to the airport. It was the only place we could find that was open on a Sunday. Our experience couldn’t have been better - Tim was amazing, the epitome of customer service - he had us in and out super fast. He was knowledgeable but not pushy, made recommendations but understood our restrictions and was quick to accommodate. The crew was so friendly and the prices were fantastic. Thanks Tim and Team!

I purchased winter tires sad the tire was great. Its the store itself and the way they get you with a lot of extra charges. The tire was $95 each. (4 tires purchased) all said and done I was charged $660. Extras were extended warranty, minting and balancing, valve stems, forced wheel alignment ( didnt think we needed), labor per tire, disposal ( we kept the tires they took off), two types of taxes ( sales and dont ask what the other was cause they couldnt explain it either).All I can say is all for the invoice before you pay because they will get you for every dollar they can. Oh, my wife is the one they took advantage of. So women Beware of this place.

Made a appointment for new tires on 12/2/20 for today. I drove 30 minutes and when I get there the associate told me he cant find the tires. He checked the shuttle and they were not on the shuttle truck. They should have called me ahead of time so I didnt have to drive 30min for nothing. Will never support the business.
I am not one to write a bad review, but I can say I am extremely disappointed with this location and the treatment we received by MAVIS corporate. Several months ago we went in for a oil change and a tire rotation, They had our van for over 5 hours and when we drove it off the lot and into the middle of southwestern, the TIRE ROLLED OFF! They never secured our tire! The manager never called us to help us make things right and we reached out to corporate several times to NO AVAIL. They said they would fix the body damages which they did not. After this, we have had to replace the windshield from a crack due to impact, live with a loud vehicle due to a crack in the muffler, and now we learned that the wheel is STILL MISSING lugnuts and lugbolts! I have three small children and this is our only family vehicle - yet Mavis has done absolutely nothing to help resolve the complete demise of our vehicle. To make matters worse, they didnt even actually change the oil!!! Our oil was bone dry -- and they never even comped expenses. I would highly recommend being very cautious pulling off the lot. Check your wheels. I dont know how we are going to replace our vehicle.
Just needed tires changed then I got a call about 800 dollars worth of work they wanted 2 do😡 I just wanted the winter tires on. Went 2 pay for my install and they wouldnt let me pay until it was finished. The desk guy Tim gave me an attitude and I sat and watched as they walked past my vehicle and didnt install the wheels.😕 smh
It was a great time I had a small leak in my tire and I just bought them at Walmart I went to Walmart and they tried to tell me they couldnt fix it because it was in the sidewall I went to Mavis met the assistant manager at a really good experience he actually fixed my bumper also that has been pulled down and he packed my tire great experience good day all around have to say I love Mavis

I went into the store. I made an appointment on 11/5/18 to have 4 snow tires installed. The person that took care of me gave me a price that was very very cheap compared to other tire shops. He told me my tires would be in the following Thursday. He set me up with an appointment on 11/11/18 at 9 am. I showed up. The same guy was working. He then told me. He couldnt find the information in the computer. He never ordered the tires. Then the price he gave me for the tire was $75.00 more per tire than he originally quoted me. I ended up going else where to make my purchase. Good luck if you go here.Edit: I ended up getting my tires from Firestone

6 hours for an alignment after I told them I just replaced everything. So I could get one and the technician walked away from my vehicle while it was in the air to chat up another co-worker seriously Im driving 5& 1/2 hours to my fiences Mavis because I would have been in and out in 30min instead of 6hours and paying for 30min labor instead of 6 hrs of labor
If you make an appointment here make sure you give yourself 3-5 hours because that’s how long you’ll be there even with an appointment. It would be nice if they told you on the phone that and if you don’t want to stay to make sure you have a ride follow you in. Definitely don’t make an appointment here on a day you have to work, wait for a day off and get ready to call mavis your home for the day. They do have a children’s play area in case you bring your kids with you and are stuck.

Experience was a joke. Was told I would get a few hundred dollars off with a special,I got the work done and then they tell me I dont get the special. Then the guy also said my studs would be included and not extra, then I got charged extra. Then they apparently had forgotten to order the correct studs but already put the new tires on the rims so they kept my truck overnight. They werent even updating me on this. Was supposed to take a few hours but I called at the end of the day and found out. Then whoever put the studs in the tires did a horrible job because after 1 day they started popping out and all I did was drive to the grocery store. People warning me and I should have listened. Never going back here and I recommend you dont either. Go to Firestone or Walmart tire center for your tires.

Nothing bad to say about the stores service as I left without purchasing after hearing about the $85 additional that would be tacked on to my online quote in addition to taxes. And I was given the explanation of its just a ball park on line they cant sell the tires you want for that price. So then a little aggravated I asked what they had in store. Of course all they had for my vehicle was Goodyears and Michelin and again at price much higher than I pulled up in front of him off their website for the same tires. Once again I was told they cant sell tires that cheap and I was given the advice of calling the customer service number but they will tell you the same thing. I didnt call the number because if I have to argue about pricing I have in front of me I will take my business elsewhere. So beware if you are visiting Mavis based on the low price you see online that is not what you will get. I am sure they are banking on majority of the people just paying all the hidden fees since they are all ready there but in this case it didnt work. I drove 5 miles down the road to Firestone got a better warrantied tire for $440.53 exactly the amount of the quote I completed on my phone in my car from Maviss parking lot.
Being a brand new location, I thought they would be of great help in buying tires. The two customers ahead of me were told, those tires are not available. Then I requested a certain brand based on their website, and then I was told not only were these tires unavailable, but they could not order them. The prices were fair, but apparently it does not matter because you could not get them. Would not recommend this place for anyone who needs tires.

In February, I purchased 2 new tires. Np w the visit.March 2However didnt go as planned, I called for another tire due to, I had a flat that couldnt be repaired. They said we will have it for you on the 4th come in for 1130.March 4thI decided before driving up to the place to call to make sure my tire was at the shop.NO TIRE, MY ORDER WAS CANCELLED.Im driving on the spare & no replacement for it. So I talked to the store & Corporate about this problem & how to fix it.While waiting for them I found a tire at DUNN, more money & more miles but I can get it done today.MavisCalls me back we can get you a tire but its going to be at least a WEEK OR MORE TO GET IT. The solution to the problem was or should have been find a tire for the 4th & get it to the place.The District Manager calls me, we will give you a free OIL Change so we dont lose your business.I understand stuff happens but at the same time you PROMISED something that you couldnt DELIVER ON waiting 2 days to have to go someplace else is NOT how to keep customers coming back.

What a joke this place is...have a appointment show up on time ..management said sorry cant do your tires cuz ever one of his guys has quit and there is only news guys here and your rims are really nice....great way to ruin someones day wast of time....
I completely understand you guys are a new location and have new employees, but kind of ridiculous. I arrived around 3:10 pm on a Wednesday afternoon, there were 2 cars in the shop being worked on and about 8-10 employees working. I came in to get my tires removed from the rim and put new winter tires on, pretty simple, shouldnt take long at all. Got checked in and was told Wont take long, should only be about an hour. Im going to jump on the car too and help out so we can get you out of here quick. Fine, thats awesome, cant complain about that. Hour goes by, im looking around the shop to see how far theyve come on my vehicle, cant really see my vehicle due to a new car being pulled in and blocking my view. They look to be finishing up with the car that was brought in after me so i figured i had to be done soon right? Then comes a guy bringing my wheels over to the machine to take them off the rims. He lets the air out of them and begins removing them from the rim. Its already been over one hour and from what I was told i shouldve already been finished and on my way. Fast forward another 45 minutes of me standing around watching and he finally finishes up and starts mounting my new tires back on the car. Over 2 hours waiting and im finally getting cashed out. Like i said, i completely understand having to train new employees and teach them how to do their jobs. But your word and integrity are everything to keep recurring customers. And being told it would only take 1 hour or so to complete and having me there for over 2 hours when there were roughly 8-10 employees on, will not bring back customers. Though i will say the tech named Omar, i believe his name was, was a great guy and finished mounting and balancing 3 tires before the other tech that was training someone, finished 1. He even came out to talk to me about my car and tell me he liked it and had one previously. Overall, poor experience and if it wasnt for Omar I wouldnt have even given 1 star.
This place is a big joke. I will never again give 1000 dollars to mavis again. You go online punch in the zip you want and they show what tires are available at that store you’re picking. It gives you The amount of The tires. You schedule the appointment it shows you the price you show up then they tell you they only have three tires the other tire won’t show up until Tuesday it is Friday now. I rescheduled for the previous week they told me if I show up at eight I’d be the first one in probably take two hours to do I showed up at eight it is now 11 o’clock and the truck is still up in the air. Then I find out the price changes because there’s a stocking fee that they neglect to tell you save your valuable time and go somewhere else.
Jared and Dan went out of there way to help and had amazing costumer service! Great employees

Literally the worst tire shop ever. Made an appointment two weeks in advance just to have my truck sit over 2 hours for no service. And to be honest the prices were ridiculous as well glad I saved the $ but annoyed they wasted my time.

Told me they had fixed my flat tire. Got home and the tire was reading low again. When I looked at the tire it still had the nail in it that caused my issue in the first place.
Great prices, but when I went just for two tires I was there for nearly 4 hours. I went to ask when my car was going to be next the man said in 15 mins so I walked to Walmart was there a hour walk back and they just took my car as I was by the stop light I got in they said hello I said why did it take this long for my car to be taken back and there was a man there when I left he was there after me and gone before me they just looked at me had nothing to say.

Save your sanity and do not go to this location. After having a $200 part broken by the staff at this location. I was told by Dan that they weren’t responsible for the part they broke and that I would have to foot the cost myself. Absolutely ridiculous and so unprofessional. They even admitted that they didn’t know exactly what to do and decided to carry on anyways without consulting me resulting in the broken part. DO NOT GO HERE.

Horrible! Dont go here! It took 2.5 hours to change two tires and a rear alignment. I was told an hour. Additionally, I found unexplained charges on my bill. The corporate office will be hearing from me.
Staff was friendly and courteous. Came in for a tire-leak repair and was in and out in under an hour.
This location in Hamburg NY will be the only Mavis tire we go to. After another store messed up, the guys not only fixed the problem but restored my trust. I will recommend this store to everyone.

2022-03-15I was happy they were able to get me in the same day I called (on a Sunday). I had all 4 tires replaced. The cashier on Sunday was excellent! Very friendly and helpful! Well, they left the bad tire in the back of my car and the tire pressures were off. I had to go back the next day. The cashier asked me if I had wanted to keep the tire. Why would I want a popped tire? No apology for the inconvenience. Then they didnt tell me that my truck was finished, just pulled it up outside. Again, no apology, not even a goodbye or have a nice day. I just went outside and found my key on the seat so I figured it was done. Poor customer service on Monday.

2022-07-03I used Mavis for my tires previously and had a fairly good experience so when I knew I was having brake issues I contacted them and scheduled my vehicle to be dropped off. I did call back to see if I could bring it in a day earlier and I was told no problem by Andre, and I asked 3 times are you sure and again, no problem, you dont need an appointment. When I brought my car there, I was told there was not mechanic on the schedule that day so not sure why he said it could be done. I left my vehicle overnight and was told it would be taken care of the next day, the original day confirmed. A friend let me borrow her vehicle for the night and when driving by the next morning, my car had not moved and all the bay doors were open and not one vehicle in them. I stopped and asked if I was going to have the service done and the technician indicated that there was no manager there and they didnt know how to use the computer to print the orders so he didnt know what needed to be done and there were no parts there for my car. Being frustrated, I asked for my key back, which they couldnt find, the manager was finally on his way and had to wait another 20 minutes for him to get there and not even be acknowledged. This was the same manager from the day before that said he would get it taken care of. His only suggestion was to bring it back the following week and when asked if he was going to order what was needed so they would be there, his answer was, its a common vehicle so there shouldnt be any issue getting the parts the same day. If that was the case, why didnt he offer to get them when the vehicle was already there? So mean while, Im driving an unsafe vehicle through a holiday weekend. This is my only form of transportation. I had to give one star in order to leave this review, otherwise it would be none.

2022-05-12About three years ago, I went here to get my tires swapped. I came here on the way out of town on my way back to my college 2 hours away. They put my tires on but they were so unbalanced that I swear I thought my car was going to rattle apart any time I went over 55MPH. I had to pay someone else near my college another $50 to fix that.And now, a few days ago, my brother went in for an issue with his tires. My brother is mildly disabled. They call him to tell him that not only will all four tires need to be replaced, but his suspension is shot, his wheels arent aligned, and he needs new brake pads are shot. The guy on the call said that it wasnt safe to drive. I go over there to check and the tires are entirely bald on the inside. Granted, thats not good. But the suspension looked completely fine and I had never heard any screeching from his brakes. However, my brother took his car there three days prior to have his car looked at. They said nothing then.We took the car to our usual mechanic and he swapped the tires and said the brake pads were a little worn. Nothing at all about the suspension. 2 and 0, fellas. Never coming back.

Received a very good price on a set of 4 Hankook Dynapro tires and their quality workmanship and attention to detail are first rate. No they didn’t pay me to say this. I was impressed. 2021-03-11Ever since I moved to Buffalo, the guys at Mavis has been taking care of me. Today they exposed that I was ripped off at PepBoys. I ordered two rear rotors and found out they did not even install them. You can imagine how frustrating this is. But the nice guys here made sure I was straight. When you stop by, ask for Jerry, this guy will be straight with you and help you out. Me and my wife are returning customers and I never had any issue with pricing, labor, or even waiting time here at this Mavis location. I definitely recommend dropping by if you haven’t already. 👍🏼

2022-03-22I had 4 tires installed over the summer. Recently, I had a flat tire,so I bought a tire, and it was supposed to be used. It cost me $160 once I was there. It seemed a bit pricey for a tire, yet it was a new tire I was told was installed. No issues other than that.

2022-02-05Very busy due to snowstorm and 3 guys out with COVID. Jerry was very cordial and up front about wait time. Entire staff was friendly and helpful. Prices cant be beat. Highly recommended.
