1st visit-Very nice place to eat, food was good and plentiful. Gracious service a bit overpriced for my taste. Ive yet to understand why waitstaff always forget to bring something you asked for, not mentioning this restaurant in particular but in general of all restaurants I visit. 2nd visit- went hoping for a nice dinner what a bad experience, food was fine, there was a party of people who were so LOUD we couldnt even hear our own conversation, when we complained to the waiter he said cant say anything or they will get upset SO hello, what about the rest of the tables near then that we all left because of the loud noisy people
We decided to try this place for a take out lunch. The prices seemed pretty high for this cuisine, but the 4+ star rating seemed promising.Ordering online, I specified in both sections for instructions that the fish tacos were no wheat. In other restaurants, this results in a meal served with corn tortillas. (If the restaurant only has the mixed corn/wheat type tortilla, they normally let me know, sparing me a tummy ache.)We drove to pick up our order but didn’t realize the restaurant prepared the fish tacos with wheat despite the written instructions. When we opened the tray at home, we discovered their error and called. They said to come back for a replacement. However, upon arrival at the restaurant,we were met by the hostile receptionist who informed us that wheat is not flour. So if you want food prepared according to commonly understood America terminology, I recommend you shop elsewhere. Everything they finally provided on a traditionally hot meal was ice cold, as in came from the refrigerator. Not a good experience.
Great tasty salads, awesome tortilla chips and salsa, LOVED the guacamole. Ample seating on a gorgeous sunny day, outdoor seats also have adjustable umbrellas for shade or rain coverage. Friendly and attentive service! This was a great find, thanks for the lovely Easter Sunday lunch outing.
We had a paty of 7 and they accommodated us at a round table so we were able to talk with everyone. Service was prompt and they were attentive throughout the meal. The food was good although the table side guacamole could have been a bit more for the 7 of us. They gave us salsa and chips while we waited for our food. The menu is generous and each of us was able to find something. Desserts were enjoyed at the end of the meal. The atmosphere was good for our purposes, it is casual relaxed.
I would give this place no stars, but then I cannot write a review.I went to have dinner during happy hour. We got a table so that we could eat dinner. We asked if happy hour was going on, and the waiter told us, “yes, at the bar.”I wanted clarification, so I asked him, “so, I have to go to the bar and order a drink myself and bring it to the table?” The waiter told me I had to stay at the bar.” Then he asked me if I wanted a drink. Needless to say, I told him I did not. Then dinner came. My Steak Quesadillas neither tasted nor looked like steak. It was horrible. It also looked more like dog food then people food.I never heard of a policy where a restaurant tells you where you can drink your drink. They list out. I ordered no drinks and left there extremely disappointed in the food, the policies, the staff.
Went there for a friends birthday and I use to go there all the time we spend 500 dollars and they didn’t give us one buyback or a dessert even charged us for 2 sodas really bad customer service could of at least gave us a soda on the house or a birthday dessert. Will never go back nor will the 6 people we came with
They took my money off my card never delivered my food at all - then gave me a hard time about my food this is not a restaurant I would recommend. The lady answered the phone she was rude, then no one knew what happened to my order at all. Hopefully they refund my money I will never eat here and I hope people see this and beware of there practice. Not a good business at all only reason they get a one star because I can’t do no star.
Really good Mexican food. Average prices. Outdoor seating options. This is definitely the best local Mexican option. Great decor, great food, great service. The decor in the main room is great and there are often roaming mariachi.Very busy Friday and Saturday nights. Ive never waited for a table for two but if you have more than that, get a reservation.
Very disappointed with our first visit here. I ordered three tacos and a cosmo. The cosmo was very weak and tasted like sugary water. My husband ordered a three amigos.. he said it was all very bland. My beef taos has literally no flavor. They were cold upon service and there was no salsa to add. The refried beans and rice were cold and flavorless. We felt that the menu couldnt make up its mind... is it American food or Mexican? I was really hoping for a good experience but would not go back.
It is a very cute place but their description of the food is anything but accurate. I ordered a chicken burrito, it is supposed to come with a meat, rice, beans, cheese, sour cream, and pico de gallo(diced up tomato’s and onions). I did not receive that. I received a rap with chicken, rice and cheese with a container of sour cream on the side.
This is best Mexican cuisine in westchester!!!! Friendly staff ....drinks are excellent. Lunch menu available ..thursday ladies night ...and weekend fun also!! Had such great time had to come back 2 weeks later and I usually obly have Mexican once a month if that! Max our waiter both times was friendly and helpful!!!!
First of all they took the wrong order. Second its so expensive and they serve VERY VERY SMALL PORTIONS. The food, the drinks everything is expensive in this place. I dont care to pay when the food is good and delicious. But this is not the case. I will never go back to this place.
Service getting worse and worse.I have been ordering since they opened. The food is always stable and good. But service!!!I have been waiting 10 minute with one word waitand called off and I called again to place order and didnt hear any sorry or something.Unpleasant experince and time to look for another one near me.
Just went there this past weekend on the recommendation of friends; very glad they told us about it. The food and service were great; prices are reasonable. Pretty big place; the room up front with the fireplace is terrific - the large room towards the back seems more like a catering space.

2022-03-20Weve been to this restaurant several times and the food is consistently good. Highly recommend the tortilla soup. Its one of my favorites. Weve had a variety of entrees and have never been disappointed. The guacamole isnt as good as what we make at home but its still yummy. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because the building is a bit run down. Saturdays are a good night to go if you enjoy Mariachi. The band is great.

2018-09-27When you first walk in the restaurant it has a weird smell, I’m not not sure what that is about. However, this smell does not carry to the food and the ambiance. I went with a group of co workers during the work day and the service was great! The waiter was attentive and didn’t mess up the order. They give a generous amount of yummy chips and salsa which is always a good sign for a Mexican restaurant. The drinks were good and the food was even better. I had the steak taco bowl, the meat was tender and flavorful! I also had the doritas for desert and it was light and yummy. The meals were also reasonable priced. I will return again- maybe for ladies night on Thursday!

2019-03-10Always great food, great service. Not pricy alot of food for what you pay for great authentic atmosphere. Little spanish house with multiple rooms. The room in front of the fireplace is great. We eat here regularly because the prices are amazing, the owner is always checking his quality and the bar menu and frozen margaritas are great. I would have taken more pictures but we ate too fast. Here is the diced shrimp cocktail ceviche with avocado.
