We love Maybe Baby Burgers. The variety of toppings for the juicy burgers make my mouth water just writing about them now. Be sure to follow it up with a delicious shake made with Gifford’s ice cream. My favorite is the Reece’s Peanut Butter. We can’t wait to go back!
My husband and I stopped here for lunch on our way through to PA. We both ordered burgers and fries. I was impressed with the size of the burger, the fresh and delicious toppings (onions, lettuce, tomato) and bun. My burger (cowboy cash I think? The one with onion rings) was soooo big I couldn’t even bite it! Everything was perfect, the staff was even super friendly! Next time I want to try a shake but I am already too full!
This place is a gem! Visiting the area to buy a car and they recommended this place for lunch. The shrimp basket was delicious and the fries were awesome! It was so much food that my leftovers served as a late night snack. Now for my husbands Reuben...he said it was absolutely the best he ever had! We will find a way to travel one hour back to eat at this place again!!!
Almost didnt come in as I was scared by reviews Id read about expensive burgers here. Most of the burgers on the menu ran around the same price as a Hardees Thick Burger....except my 1/2 lb 1 thick hamburger patty was made to order and smothered in plenty of Blue Cheese and bacon. Huge and so tasty. Nice order of beer battered onion rings on the side ran me about $14 with tax. They have plenty of other items as well like 12 hot dogs, speciality chicken and other meat sandwiches and salads. Their ice cream and shake list was delightful and impressive. Plenty of fun appetizers.Service was super home town friendly and at 5 on a Thursday it took less than 10 minutes to fill my order. Clean and really nice restaurant modeled in a 1950s theme. Im going to be a repeat customer!
Neat 50’s themed diner, plenty of parking for RV’s and such, easy to find. Burger: $9.99 + fries $2.99 + drink $1.99, added up to $16 quick. They also have neat ice cream combos or plenty of hard ice cream choices; No soft serve. Good place to eat unless you’re on a budget. Very friendly staff and clean.
Ive based my review on many factors;Upon arrival the staff was working on many, many, to-go/inhouse orders for drinks/milkshakes.This created a very long wait time, my partner and I waited roughly 15 minutes before we were even greeted and another 10 minutes before we could even place and pay for our order. This place does do very large worth-your -money portions, however, theres a way to do large portion burgers and they kind of dropped the ball, they split it in half and just plopped it on a paper serving tray. I needed several napkins to even put it together and eat half of it.10/10 money-to-product ratio. When it came time to leave I discovered to cut costs they switched to tin foil instead of Styrofoam takeaway containers not only was this innaffective, It made it awkward to go up front of a relatively small venue and wrap your to-go food in front of the remaining customers.I will say their milkshakes are great and the fact they bring you the drinks before your food definitely staves off your appetite while you wait. 5/10 may visit again.
Stopped in for a simple burger, what I found was the simple burger elevated 1000 fold, I had the chilli burger, very messy, very delicious and the lady that took our order was fantastic, she had a great sense of humor and made us feel welcome, over all it was a great experience. Burger, check. Onion rings, absolutely wonderful, check. Full belly, check. Great place, give it a try.
I don’t normally give ratings but this place is absolutely amazing. My new favorite place. Food came out delicious and fast, staff is extremely nice and the 50s esthetic is on point. There’s no way you could be mad or upset in a place like this. I’m impressed! Makes me want to go to a drive through movie next! And the price is very decent as well! Very reasonable. Will be back!
Wow Maybe Baby.... our food was phenomenal. If you want a hotdog with meatsauce ??? Get it.. the meatsauce (call it chili on the menu) is so perfectly seasoned. High grade dog. The Counrty cash burger was huge with thick juicy bacon cooked perfectly. Lettuce and tomato was very fresh. Their sauces are also very good. Nice job !!
My family just got done eating here and everything was amazing! I got the leave it to bacon burger and my husband got the country cash burger and we both got onion rings for a side. Both burgers were cooked perfect and tasted amazing! I would definitely recommend Maybe Baby Burger to anyone that asks for a good restaurant or burger joint to eat at!
Food was very good, staff was friendly and speedy. The atmosphere and 50s decor is nice. The only thing is, they are very pricey for the area. Fries and drinks are not included with the burgers and sandwiches, so it ads up to be quite expensive considering it is in the middle of nowhere. Maybe in a big city this would work, but I dont think it will succeed here.
This place is beyond horrible! Dont get me wrong the food is good but their customer service is terrible. Ive tried to place orders multiple times and they flat out say no, they dont have time. They start closing way before the time they say they close. So if you want food from here order a few hours before you need the food to make sure you get it.
While back in Pittsburgh I had begun to hear about this place. Friends on Facebook raving about how good it was. I went there tonight and the place did not disappoint. Everything was great. The burger perfect, the fries amazing, the decor and music perfect for a 50s themed restaurant. Would highly recommend.
I spent the day at the Curtis Museum with an old Korean war Vet/Bush pilot and stopped here for lunch. We sat at the first table with a chair as it is hard for him to get around. The speaker directly over our heads was loud! I went up to order and asked if the music could be turned down and explained why. I was told “I doubt it but I’ll ask”. 20 minutes and 48$ later I went up to pickup my 2 burgers, fries and milk shakes and again asked to turn the music down. I was told to move to another table. I explained that it was hard for my friend to move and he shrugged his shoulders and again told me to move (there were 2 other people in the restaurant) total disrespect for a Sr and a Veteran! As for the food: Shakes were great! Burgers were a strange white color inside (almost like a processed beef), Buns were soaked (mushy), fries were good. I will never go back for 3 reasons: No respect for our Seniors, poor quality food and WAY over-priced.
They have a very large selection of toppings for sandwiches. They have lots of appetizers. Portions are huge; plan on taking some home. You order at the counter, give your name, and have a seat. When your order is ready, they call your name and you go up and pick it up at the counter. They have a large condiment bar. The food was great. Theyll customize anything. We waited quit a while for our order (4 of us), so not a place to stop on your lunch break. We didnt mind the wait as we had things to discuss, but its something to note. They put a lot of effort into the decor.
Its a great place to bring your family and a great place to stop by on your way to the lake in hammonsport. The food is delicious and the ice cream is out of this world. Many items to choose from, you have to stop by on your next time through the area. Or if your local youd be dumb to not come and be a patron of this fine 50s themed restaurant. The staff is amazing and the owner is on premises most days behind the counter cooking.
The atmosphere is fantastic for a fun, retro inspired burger and shake shop. The brisket was very good (ask for sauce on the side if you dont like it heavy), and the turkey sandwich used higher quality turkey and bread. Even the lettuce used was better than expected. The only reason that this isnt a 5 🌟 review is the ordering process. You enter and have a very limited physical area to view the menu board and order. The board is extremely difficult to read because of the lighting and color choices. This made ordering tricky, because no one could read it until we had to order, and we were cramped in, waiting. This was an awkward issue for us, but for people with disabilities it may be a deterrent.
The food is pretty good quality. Casual dinner baskets for 3 adults included a crab patty sandwich with chips and bottled water, a veggie burger with a few onion rings and a chocolate shake, and a crispy chicken sandwich with chips and tap water. It came to 48$ Seemed like a lot of money despite being tasty.
Food was ok, nothing special, portions are small, VERY EXPENSIVE,. you can get a steak, or twin pork chops, and potato, and salad , cheaper than there smallest burger, 9 french fries I got with it, and a fountain drink. I guess they think were all tourist around here, so they can whack us good. Its too bad . Was looking forward to getting something decent to eat finally around here. One place in Bath is good (Pub). And theres nothing in Hammondsport,. Oh well, gotta still go out of town for decent food, at a fair price
Walked in, was stared @ by staff working. One of the guys that was delivering drinks may have been a literal sociopath. Felt awkward asf trying to order food. 3 full meals costed $48.67. So kind of expensive, but the food is good and tables are clean.Ps. A little crowded- had a few customers in there making a hell of a lot of noise.
Its designed very well inside but for $14 after tax for a burger meal they should toast the buns and season the burgers. The buns turn to mush and for $14 it should come with fries instead of potato chips. Seriously though, take the 2 minutes to toast the buns so they dont absorb all the grease and fall apart

2021-10-16Excellent burger! Stopped by based on a recommendation and glad we did. The taste of the burgers Troy makes on the flat top grill, is among the best I have had. They have a good selection of burgers, chicken,, hot dogs etc. along with great fries. The decor is welcoming and the staff is friendly. If you are anywhere close, this is a great place to stop.

2021-08-03We were recommended to go to maybe baby while we are at the local KOA campground. The food was amazing and the french fries were probably the best I ever had. I had a la lane bunless and it truly was awesome. The burger was fresh and so juicy. My wife is picky with her burgers and prefers well done. The owner was cooking and did a great job. I chatted for a few minutes and it was great to see his passion for his business. The 50s diner feel is great. I wish you guys the best and a bright future.

2022-06-08Eating her for many years. Never had anything good here. I wish there were other restaurants in this area like Thai, Indian, Korean, Turkish or just decent ones.

2022-04-01This is the best fish Ive had in 25 years people were friendly and this was my familys first time here. Some people say price is high and NYC prices well thats not true NYC prices for a burger fries and drink are around 38 to 4 5 dollars and are not as good as this. We will support local business and support our community and we are 35 minutes from here. They will see us on a regular basis

2019-12-21Amazing old school 50’s themed burger shack! The staff were very friendly, and polite! I had the bacon burger with bleu cheese and it was terrific and cooked to perfection. The decor of this place is spot on in the retro theme, right down to the booths! The fries were terrific and best of all they offered malt vinegar to go with them. Can’t wait until I can get back in the area and try another one of their burgers!

2018-08-10This is a very neat place as far as appearance and atmosphere. I will start off with saying that my milkshake was awesome. I ordered the aloha burger today for lunch. The burger looked amazing. I had 3 bites of my burger and didnt eat the rest of it. It looked very light whitish or light grey in color and smelled a bit sour. The pineapple that came on my burger tasted like it had been fermenting for a science project. With such an inviting atmosphere and such a nice clean building I did not expect the food that I received today. Ive been sick about 45 min after I left there. Very disappointed for what I thought was going to be a good experience per reading the reviews before I went there
