Good use of a fairly restricted space between high-rises, this playground offers local youth some respite. There is a sprinkler, two sets of climbing equipment, benches, swings and a basketball court. The playground has an upper level, and one lower, but there is no ramp connecting the two (at least not which I saw or remember), so only the lower half is accessible to the handicapped. Police from Midtown North regularly patrol the area. There is a bathroom, but it was locked during this review. Thankfully nothing unseemly needed to be done in the nearby bushes!

Great playground with all the usual expectations, swings, climbing gym, and sprinklers in the summer. My daughter loves it.

I visited today around 5pm with an infant based on the great reviews. Unfortunately the playground did not feel safe and it was rather filthy. There were adults without children on the little kids play equipment eating and changing. There were also adults without children with tons of luggage lying on the benches and sleeping. There were more bugs and flies in this playground than nearby playgrounds.

This playground seems to be frequented by homeless and not many children. If you absolutely need a playground it works but just know it’s not the greatest for young children. They do have some basketball courts that had many young adults playing.

Just happened to find this little gem last night, while driving by. Went back and shot hoops for about an hour. This place is a real oasis - not crowded and everybody was just chilling out and enjoying themselves. Going back this morning. Five stars!

Cute little playground in the city. There is even a small splash pad for hot days.

You take what you can. That is all I will say about a playgoround in NYC.

Its a nice little park. Good for all ages. They have a separate area for smaller kids. Nice little water spray. Its okay. It could definitely use more shaded areas

I used to come here with my family years ago and felt that they had a safe space to play in. Returned years later and still feel the same. The parents are still ever vigilant to keep riff raff out. The restrooms are surprisingly clean for public bathrooms and the lock is still on the entry gate.

This park had a toddler structure and further up was a bigger kids structure. There were a few swings. My kids were playing and all the sudden there was an influx of middle schoolers. They took over the bigger area. Some of them sat on the picnic tables and played cards. I guess they walk over from school. There were also 3 cops that came to monitor the play. When I saw the big kids we quickly went to play at the toddler structure.
