We showed up to the 24 he McDonald’s because I work evenings, the place is lit up like it’s open, the menu is all up like they’re open, sit there, call the number online, place is closed. I get that finding workers is difficult these days, but at the very least could you make it look like you’re closed? Or at least put up a sign or something? Dang. Good thing the Taco Bell is open now.
Waited 25 minutes for 4 sandwiches. 15 of those minutes were after they asked us to pull to the side because they were waiting on the chicken. Finally went inside, the workers acted like they had no idea what I was talking about and prepared the sandwiches on the spot. Also, milk shake machine was broken.
They literally take so long for no reason, like I waited 20 mins for an order I ordered online. No one asked if I was all set while waiting, no one is at the counter, I get they don’t care to work but dang at least be quick with the food. Its called fast food for a reason.Sad.
Worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been too!! Some dude with dreads gave me a small cup of soda after I ordered and paid for a large. I had to ask for the large and he just poured what was in the small cup into the large cup and only a few pieces of ice. My drink was warm. HAVE YOU EVER HAD WARM SODA FROM A FAST FOOD PLACE? & he was very rude. Didn’t speak to me or apologize or anything. It’s crazy how one employee can ruin your experience. Best of luck to McDonald’s on elmwood, because with a employee like that, expect more reviews like this one. Sincerely a very unhappy customer.
I swear this location only hires people that hate working. Its always been the longest wait out of any location around, sometimes they literally dont even take your order at all, they just stand around doing absolutely nothing. This location should not bother being 24 hours. I just sat at the speaker for 5 minutes, then drove past the window slowly and saw employees just standing around leaning on the counters.
Slow.They don’t park cars.I come to pick up orders at night and have to wait in a long line,15 plus minutes all because they’re waiting on other peoples food but yet refuse to park them like any other McDonald’s.I’m a manager at another location..I know how it’s supposed to go.
30+ minutes waiting in the drive thru to leave empty handed. I dont know if only one person was working the entire restaurant / all the stations alone but it was taking forever for each car. I saw several other cars leave the line before I did. Then when I got to the speaker to place my order it took a couple minutes for someone to even get on the line to acknowledge I existed. Then when I FINALLY got to the first window to pay, no one ever came up. So I figured Id go to the second window to pay. The car two cars behind me was waiting at the speaker at least 5 minutes before they even placed their order. The car in front of me was at the window for at least 10 minutes before they got their food and it was a huge order too. Have they never heard of the practice of sending cars to the parking lot to wait if the entire order isnt ready? Thats what we did when I worked at McDonalds eons ago. By that point I was entirely fed up and when the car in front of me pulled out I just left. Didnt stop at 2nd window. Didnt pay. It speaks poorly of management that they were this poorly managed/staffed and inefficient that during the dinner rush you have cars leaving the line and others waiting 30-40+ minutes for orders. Will not be back to this location. I will go out of my way to go to another one if/when I do.
Worst experience in years. This location is now high tech and worse than ever. The confusion that you can see in the picture doesnt do it justice. Making old people wait at a kiosk is just stupid and there business will suffer. The food was disgusting and nuked to the point of ruining the food. One older woman yelled out lets go to Burger King. Swear to God.
Oh wow. Just....wow uffff! I went inside to order my food. MISTAKE!! I really think the drive-thru gets top priority, but that wasnt the real issue. It was the complete LACK of service! I stood waiting...and waiting....and waiting. All of the workers saw me. But no one nodded. No one said hang on. No one said anything. The line behind me grew longer. No one recognized us. I left. No one cared. I get it. Covid is to blame for everything. But even basic human responses??? Terrible place. WILL NEVER RETURN!
Went thru the drive thru, ordered 2 sandwiches. 1 with extra pickles. Barely a line. Im told the OTHER sandwich is not ready please pull forward so I did. Waited 10 minutes, no one came out and I had to leave to pick up my daughter. I went to a FAST food restaurant for a readon. Went back for the sandwhiches, the fn sandwich I ordered with extra pickles had non, the other had more onions on it than meat. You can do better for $15 an hour. Come on. 👎👎
This is the worst McDonalds in the area. Waited 15 mins in the drive thru. When I placed my order the kid working did not understand that the sausage biscuit costs $1.69 and not $4.29. I told him it is on the menu at the $1.69. I know this job is not rocket science but if you cant handle taking a order and getting someone food within a decent amount of time you need to reevaluate your career choice. I will never go back to this location.
This is the third time in a row I have ordered McDonalds from doordash with my food being completely different then what I ordered. Yet my receipt has my order correct. Im extremely upset because I’m always ripped off. Tonight i had ordered the two cheeseburgers with a large fry and large drink with a six piece chicken nugget. I instead recieved a ten piece chicken nugget, a medium fry and a large drink. Very upset.
I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with cheese and a sweet tea. The tea was Great! The sandwich was AWFUL the first bite I took was nothing but fat. When I went inside to return the sandwich and speak to the manager she was very rude refunded me my money and did not even speak. I will never return there again!
Id give this McDonalds 0 stars but thats not an option. Doesnt matter when i go there they mess up the order. This time I asked are you sure the plain hot and spicy chix sandwiches are in there? She days yes, well they werent, she then tells me to go around the corner and wait. I waited forever. So much so I went in and they still werent ready. Needless to say the rest of he food was now cold. Whoever owns this franchise really needs to start paying attention to their business.
Ordered off Uber eats because there was a deal. Mistake. They shorted me my large sweet tea from my value meal and ALL THREE CHEESEBURGERS. Have receipt to prove it. Uber doesnt seem to even refund the actual missed amount for foods not rendered. Watch your receipts and especially offers through delivery services.Never ordering again.
Not very clean, as you can see. Slow service. Out of butter for pancakes. 3 employees from what I could tell. No drive through line, and just a few customers. Every customer that came in mentioned the garbage outside, never even acknowledged. Also, did not see one table wiped down after they were sat at.
Had to ask three times for my drink and the lady acted like I was asking for her first born. Seemed confused. Left. Sat at the window for about five minutes before she finally opened again and still didnt have my drink, she then questions me about whether I had a drink at all, then finally gives me a drink that was sitting in the window the whole time😂 three stars because everything else was fine.
Slowest so called fast food place Ive ever been to in my 35 years. I was in the drive through for 25 mins before I got to the mic to order. Some lady says hold on please. After waiting 15 minutes I pulled off,and so did at least 10 cars my entire time there. And when I went to the checkers across the street where most of the other people went, that line was moving fast af. I had my order taken in 5 minutes. I will never go to this McDonalds again. They are super slow and an inconvenience
Very unprofessional and rude staff. I could not understand the person taking my order. They were mumbling and very Dismissive. Employee behind the counter was rubbing his nose and eyes constantly.I had ordered from them drive-through. They forgot 2 chocolate milks. When I went immediately inside and requested those two items, The cashier was initially going to charge me for them. Then the cashier said: wait you were just in the drive-through. Then The cashier said very rudely: WHY DIDN’T YOU JUST SAY THAT!On another occasion I had ordered ice cream and apple pies. The apple pies I received were blacked and burned and as if they were in the warmer too long. I asked for replacements and again I received two more pies that were also blackened.If you plan on collecting happy meal toys don’t do it at this location. Once they have the same happy meal toy every single day for a couple of weeks. When I ask them if they have any other varieties they explained that they only have the one toy.I also noticed the prices are higher at this location compared to locations in the suburbs. I have visited many McDonald’s locations throughout the country and this happens to be one of the worst overall, my opinion. I would much rather take the extra drive and go to another location. I will never spend any money in this location.If I were the owner of this location I would not sleep at night thinking of all the things happening in my investment.
First time at this location and staff was great and friendly, food was hot and properly made. One problem which Ive noticed at ALL McDonalds locations... Burgers have become way too salty, its disgusting and tastes like Im eating a salt patty. Akso, the cheeseburger buns have the texture of cardboard now. What are you doing, corporate??? Prices go up and quality goes down
I got a triple cheeseburger for $3. I paid at the kiosk which is nice and easy to use. Then it seemed like I was waiting forever for a simple cheeseburger. Maybe it was only a few minutes and Im impatient and maybe they were swamped with drive thru. The neat part was that I was,as I was just about to ask someone wheres my food and another person showed up like instantly with my burger. That was a relief. Burger was standard McDonalds.
The order window couldnt get ANYTHING right. It took way too long in line. Then I had to pull over to the parking lot to wait for my food. When I did get it ..it was wrong..totally! It was someone elses order. I went inside to complain and there were 4 others inside with similar problems. One of the girls there said she had my order so we swapped. I went to my car to check and someone had already taken 2 bites out of the burger. I went back inside and then had to wait 20 minutes for them to remake it. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE..1 STAR !
Horrible service. Employees didnt want to work; if they didnt feel mentally ok or didnt want to work, they should have stayed home. Incompetent workers or workers who feel they are having a bad morning and take it out on their customers are scumbags. Would you please stay home if you dont feel like coming to work?
Employees dont know whats happening. I came inside to buy my son a milkshake and a space jam happy meal toy and employees told me theyre not allowed to give it out. Mind you my sister got a space jam toy from this same location a few days ago. They offered me scooby doo toys. My son really wanted space jam toys. Very disappointing.
Waited 30 minutes for a mobile (app) order at 11:14am. Drive-thru line was backed up around the corner. Employees I talked to were very professional and apologetic. Understaffed or inefficient. Food we got was soggy and had been sitting put awhile. I could see the staff hustling, so it must be a management problem.
Been here for over an hour doing doordash, they told me I could wait at the window but that was a lie when they said go through the drive through although they helped someone else at the door. Over an hour later and im not even at the window yet. Awful Mcdonalds have never waited so long in my life. I am basically stuck in the driveway as of now.
As of late this drive-thru has been crazy busy at every hour. Drive-thru turnaround is not as fast as it could be, but with more and more people turning to drive-thrus due to covid, its understandable and I tend to be more patient because of it. Fries arent always as hot and fresh as they could be, but I get not wanting to waste. Catch-22 really. Some cashiers/staff are very friendly, others not so much. They do all have gloves and face masks, so they are following covid protocol.
I wish i could give this McDonalds no stars. I signed up for the app just to check it out and figured I would give it a shot, biggest mistake and waste of time! I waited 30 minutes for my curbside order that i had to go in and get myself. Once i got the order it was only half there and had to wait another 10 minutes for a 20 piece nugget.Theres not a fiber of customer service in this restaurant. The workers are in another world and can careless about service or your food. The founder of McDonalds is probably rolling over in his grave. I will never go back to this location, even if they offered me a free meal. The owner should spend some time in this store and get some quality control and customer service established. Do yourself a favor and go to a better location or different fast food restaurant, where you can get your food in a timely fashion. I hope someone goes in and helps this place out, but I highly doubt it.
Waited in drive thru 20 minutes. Get to pay window and the lady doesnt bother to look at me. Just sticks her hand out the window for my payment. I give her my card and she runs it, then just sticks it back out the window without so much as a word, this time looking directly at me, but with zero expression, zero words. No smile, no thank you, or have a nice day? Man I wish Id paid in all pennies. Get to second window and they ask me to wait in their parking lot as they are just waiting on my spicy chicken sandwich. I sit there FOR ANOTHER 10 MINUTES. I get out of my car to in and see just what is taking so long and a guy comes out with my food. When I get back in my car and try the sandwich, the bun is rock hard and the chicken fillet is stiff as a stone. They were waiting on this!!?? Waste of time. The franchise owner here should be embarrassed and clearly has never driven through to quality check their investment.Do NOT go here, even if you are starving. You have been warned.
I usually get good service but today I was laughed at I dont know if it was because the way I ordered my food but I know that I went to the drive-thru with every intention on inside because of the covid-19 situation and lo and behold I went to check my food and I was missing two cheeseburgers. The slowest service Ive ever dealt with in my life and that is not a exaggeration my children waited 15 minutes to get there cups for 2 drinks..... thats all they ordered 2 drinks I finally walked in to see what was taking so long and made them leave they can have the $2 it will be the last I spend there. They fired the staff and replaced them with kiosks so that they could afford $15 a hour for the remaining burger flippers so now we get to wait 15 minutes to get pop. Will NEVER go back there again. Id give it 0 stars if I could man have they changed.
Waited 12 minutes pulled off to the side from drive-thru, this nasty person brought our food out, pulls her mask down and looks through the bag. Absolutely the worst place to eat. We didnt eat the food it was a total waste of $14. If im starving to death i will NEVER eat at McDonalds again. I would have given them a 0 star if I could. #sh!+hole
I can’t even believe what I experienced here. After waiting 15 minutes for the person in front of us to order, we pull up. 20 minutes later and NO ONE HAS EVEN GREETED US. Even after the people in front of us got their food! I wish I was exaggerating. So then we pulled up to the window and the employee made eye contact, and walked away. Obviously they don’t care about their jobs here, or really anything at all. I’d be embarrassed to be the person who runs this store.
When ordering they made us take a table number.. Waited for a half hour for them to bring our food to the table. Watched them take food around the restaurant and back to the kitchen, didnt realize until later that it was our food. In the meantime I watched one of the employees wipe his nose (mask down, past his nose) with his bare hand and then keep taking care of customers. At this point we went up to the counter and asked for our money back. This is when they proceeded to tell us our food was ready, which I personally was not eating because the kid bagging the food was the one who couldnt keep his hands off his nose. This is the third McDonalds experience in a row that has been absolutely disgusting. Not the same locations but it shows an incredible lack of standards and food safety.
Horrible, horrible, horrible!!!5 customers inside. At least 6 employees working in the kitchen. No one out front. Ordered from a kiosk. No receipt printed. Pressed the help button. Started beeping loudly. After 10min someone came from the back, not to help but to give some their order. I asked if they could print me a receipt since the machine didnt, and they tried to charge me for a while new order. Told them no i already paid, and they walked away. 5 min later they came out again. I asked again for a receipt and was told they didnt know how to get one. Even the manager had no idea how to. In this 15 min that passed only 1 out of the 6 orders on the board were was handed out 10 minutes after that we got our order. 25 min wait.
I ordered a happy meal with 2 fries, 6 nuggets, and white milk. I paid for the 6 nuggets and got 4 disgusting old chicken nuggets, 1 fry and a yogurt, and chocolate milk. They had more than enough time to get the order right as we sat in the drive thru for 20 min. And it was not busy. Terrible and incompetent. Hire people who can count past four.
One of the slowest McDonalds. Having people wait over 30 minutes for a very simple order & still get it wrong. Cashiers telling customers to use kiosk instead of taking customer orders themselves. Ive waiting 20 minutes just for a caramel frappe for them to tell me that theyre out of caramel. Reason why I dont like using kiosk. I really wouldnt recommend this location. Theres other food spots around the area with must faster service.
Decided to give it another try after about 5 terrible experiences here. But Im hungry and I dont have much time. After seeing how long the drive through is I go inside trying to save a minute. I order off the new screens that are very nice. But then 20 minutes go by and Im still hungry but Im more upset then hungry at this point. Its time to go so I just wanted my money back and just go somewhere else. The manager blew me off because its McDonalds the costumer doesnt really seem to be first. So after waiting 5 more minutes I finally got my money back. You can remodel the store all you want but its the same service they are known for.
I honestly think this is one of my favorite McDonalds locations. Its big enough that you never have to worry about seating running out and this is the only location that Ive never had a problem with forgetting something from my order. The staff is always nice and the dining area is always mopped and clean
For a new McDonalds just rebuilt this summer and only reopened 2 months this is the dirtiest filthiest restaurant Ive ever seen or been in and the roof leaked onto me and my wifes head. Theres not 1 square inch thats clean. This is why I dont eat fast food and I dont even think of going through the drive through, they never get the order right. So it will probably be another year till I go and eat something from my childhood. -5
Terrible service. The employees do not really want to be bothered with the customers. They prefer that you use the Kiosk. Well too bad, I prefer to speak with someone! My second time there, since they remodeled. The worst part is how long it takes to get your food, from the time that the order is placed. I hope that you are not starving!! Looks like they were mad when they made my sandwich. It looks like they made it and smushed it in their hand and rolled it on a dirty table. There’s a random piece of lettuce on it from who knows where (I got just a normal regular cheese burger) and there was a pickle stuck to the outside of the bun. Come on now people
Mcdonalds, like most fast food places is usually a place you go to dine at due to either availability, cost or convenience. In Buffalo, New York there is only a select few locations of Mcdonalds that most people will attend to order food due to various reasons. A lot of these locations have bad reputations either within the neighborhood, the location’s cleanliness, quality of food and or customer service. Mcdonalds located on Elmwood Avenue is in a convenient location surrounded by other major businesses in a nice area but is still a major disappointment.Mcdonalds on Elmwood avenue is an urban location that is you would assume have better service then others due to its lack of major hardships, as well as the remodeled structure of the outside and in. Nobody wants to eat in a dirty environment whether it is dirty where the food is being cooked or whether it is where you consume the food.You chose the McDonalds on Elmwood Avenue assuming it would be cleaner than the other Mcdonalds locations, but instead when you walk in the tables are usually not cleaned off, leaving you to look for a place to sit and eat when you are trying to dine in. Also, the drink machine station is a mess with lids for the drinks on the ground, spilled soda on the counter and straw rappers all around.Since your expectations were higher you typically would expect good fast and friendly customer service but receive typically the total opposite. The store is usually packed on the inside, causing a long wait to order your food. By the time you get to order food your patience level has already dropped, and you are somewhat aggravated. You finally place your order and all of a sudden, the person taking your order has an attitude with you as if you killed their pet goldfish. Your patience slowly begins to diminish as you wait three times the length that you are supposed to wait for you simple meal. During the wait for your food, you notice the workers that are supposed to be making your food simply cracking jokes with one another as well as talking and doing everything but what seems to be making your food.Customers of this establishment tend to make special requests in their orders as most people do, such as ordering a burger without certain condiments such as ketchup, mustard, etc. At this location there has been multiple reports of a customer ordering “no ketchup” and receiving extra ketchup, and even the other way around where they give you none of a condiment you asked for extra of placed on your burger. There has even been reports of people ordering burgers receiving burger buns without any meat in between.The worst part about having hardships at a fast food establishment is when it is time to talk to management and report an incident, being the manager usually takes a while to come speak with a unhappy customer, making it easier to just give negative feedback online. Nobody wants to wait 30 minutes to bring up an issue that deals with a two-dollar burger.Compared to some other locations, this Mcdonalds is golden. The issue comes about when your expectations are high due to comparison to other locations. Just because the neighborhood is nice that the restaurant is placed in does not mean the customer service is decent or standard issues will not be relevant. Mcdonalds is typically ordered due to convenience and or price range. I would highly suggest doing research on an establishment before going there to eat especially, as the surrounding area is not always the best way to judge an establishment.
It was terrible. Waited 26 minutes only 3 orders ahead of me. Food was microwaved to heat up old stale hard sandwiches and nuggets. My frappe was like chocolate milk with deflated whip cream . Elmwood store is the worst. Go extra mile to other MCD for better food and service
Wait for 30 min for my food. 15 min waiting to take my order ( nobody was in the counter ). 15 waiting for my food and everything was wrong. Flies on the Apple pie machine. No napkins, almost out of lids for the sodas and a mess all over. 3 employees sitting and talking extremely loud with another 3 customers. Really the worst ever.
Absolutely horrible customer service. They denied having the dinner box available on the menu because theyre all lazy workers. I ended up paying more money to feed the same amount of people when I could have went somewhere else for a better value. Lazy workers and bad attitudes. Will not be going back.
I always regret coming here, if its not the lines or the slow service, for real though, the drive through will make you wait 10+ minutes and youll barely have moved three cars forward. My parents have even been harrased by a customer who was friends with the cashier at that time. I dont recommend this place, drive a little further to Wendys or Burger King, even Checkers is better than this store. Im always just so disappointed here.
I havent been to this location in quite some time, as the service left much to be desired. They remodeled the interior, and there are new kiosks where you can order your food, sit down and they will bring your order to your table. The service was really good, with no wait time, so I will definitely come back to this location.
What a joke of a restaurant. I bought 5 cheeseburgers with no extras added. Open all five up to find at least 3 onions full of diced onion. I did not ask for that but thanks I guess. Also whats the deal with the stale buns like I wanna eat. And god forbid you give me my whole order. Is it such a big deal that I make you do you job that you have to sabotage my food. On every single occasion. Id give you no stars if I could.
Honestly the slowest location Ive ever been to, who knew it would be 15 mins. For a side salad and 10 nuggets? They were completely un friendly and just joking around moving slow as molasses. Messed up order and took so long and they werent even busy. I wont be back terrible crew terrible leadership. Horrible.
I just left there after work and i was charged $9.00 for a steak egg and cheese mcmuffin. Asked for a receipt and was told that the system was down she writing them down by hand. She wouldnt lie to me. Come to find out there $5.32. I need answers from sully on your overnights shift

I had a mishap in the drive-thru and had to walk in for my order and the manager lost the order and tried to refund me when having to make the order over that type of kindness is very hard to find respect I left her her money and just took my order that I paid for I cant thank the manager enough probably surprised her not taking the money just as much as I was surprised when she offered great meal McDonalds great meal keep doing such good work
I didnt actually go to this one today like Google thought I did, but thats because last week, the e-menu outside didnt work and the totally ignore me, so I drove around again and the guy in front of me was having the same problem, so I went inside and the e-menu wasnt working there either and no-one was available to take my order. So I went to another one, and no-one was taking orders at that window either, so after 5 minutes, I got on the drive through line at Burger King, where everything always seems to go right. I have now stopped going to McDs...
One of the worst mcdonalds Ive ever been to. Waited 15 minutes for a salad. Listened to the lay taking orders from the drive through. She was very rude and very unhelpful. Dont go here. I returned a second time for breakfast. They were not as bad in the morning but I saw bugs on the floor in the eating area.
My daughter just opened her Mcdouble and a small bug was crawling on it by the time i tried to record it it when in the burger and we couldnt locate it. Im disgusted i tried to call but of course thsy never answer phone and with out the proof i wasnt wasting my gas im juzt done with Mcdonalds that turned me all the way off.
Absolutely disgusting, on 6/11/17 we went in for a quick bite to eat and while waiting for our food I started to look around and noticed no one person working was wearing a hair net nothing from keeping the one lady with long hair swinging around hitting cups, another guy working in the back making sandwiches was wearing anything on his head either. Nobody in that place did. After getting our food the cup they gave me was dirty inside. They dont even deserve this one star.
Staff rude as hell. Girlfriend order chesse buger there was not many people in there maybe 3 people eatting after 20 mins girl ask what going on with order. I Dont know the worker names but staff thought was funny we wait 45 mins for 1 chesse buger. So i left all my trash at table for them to pick up for bring very rude to girlfriend today . Cant ever seat down with family at this location without worker being rude or food that have no buger just 2 buns and slice of chesse few times dont know how you forget to put a buger on a bun. this place need to be watch and retraining. Staff dont work good as team even, when i go here i know what to expect to happen. Its very sad place
Terrible service. Employees were eating food as they were working and ignoring all customers. It took 15 minutes to get a couple sandwiches and a milk shake. They didn’t have chocolate syrup so gave me a vanilla. Service just took forever and they seemed like they didn’t care about anything.
They really need to work on customer service...I walk in a young women asked me are you from Uber eats??? I replied no and she looks at me and just walked away(Im no rocket scientist but at that point I believe she should of said no problem sir can I take you order or if that was too much work she could or replied with someone will be right with you) a few min later a nice women with red hair working the window said i will be right with you!!! After waiting not to long she was very polite with taking my order when I was all cashed out my wife notified me that our daughter had woken up and to get a happy meal...she seemed very annoyed at this point that she would have to inconveniently cancel my order which I nicley replied I will just do a separate one for her!!! The only reason I will give even 3 stars is for the nice older gentleman making the food for the fact that he was very polite and curtious when handing me order(so two thumbs up for him he actually seemed like he wanted to do his job!!!) After this experience i will never go back unless I was only dealing with him!!!
Literally just pulled up to this mcdonalds and they were giving someone their food at the window then tell us we are sorry our systems are down for the next 10 minutes. I just saw you give this dude his food and its 222 am when you said that. I hate this mcdonalds, even the remodel could never change the staff of this place. I guess if I worked somewhere that got terrible reviews I would tell everyone the systems are down too, yet I go to the other McDonalds 5 minutes away and their systems are just fine. Lazy employees.
Mcdonalds on Elnwood in Kenmore is a great place to eat and to chill I really enjoy ice coffee I purchase from them it certainly is the best cup of coffee. The service is awesome most abundantly quick and fast. This is my third time in a week visiting them for a quick bite to eat and drink. It recently updated with a brand new face lift it looks really nice inside and out its refurbished with new technology you can order food by your self and pay as you want its not only people friendly workers ,but the great food is great.
Chicken sandwich was sub par, even for McDs. Spongy dry and room temp. Worse though was that the shake machine was down, again. At 7pm. Gave me my money back. I went to anther McDs cause i really just came for the shamrock shake and it turned out that the closest McDs has the shake machine ALWAYS running AND it was cheaper. Yes, cheaper to buy a milk shake from the same chain restaurant not a dozen blocks away. Asked the manager about it. Found out that store owners can charge whatever they like, suddenly within reason. Shakes $5 at Elmwood location, $4 at Delaware and Sheridan.
New kiosk!This McDonalds has the new kiosks that allow you to order your food without going to the counter first. You can customize your meals however you want and you can also pay at the kiosk and pick your order up at the counter. This makes ordering your food a lot easier and more efficient. If you are not comfortable with the kiosk you can still order at the counter.
Slow night, snowing .....On the ball service, clean and bright, but my one complaint was the attitude of a couple of workers, had a crappy attitude except for little guy and manager seemed that she let the angry youth get away with swearing and acting ghetto. short guy was quick and respectful. didnt care for homeless guy asking for change in the store but thats the big city for you!
I have not been there in a while, but When I was there, the workers messed up on orders and they get the sense of urgency but cant get it done right. Its very busy, crowded small area for ordering. Its nasty, smelly and very unsanitary. I would just skip this place, not worth standing there for almost 20+ minutes for food not done right.
Absolutely worst McDonald’s in buffalo and that’s saying something bc the one on McKinley parkways bad but this one takes the cake from there absolutely lazy staff to the managers that can’t manage there way out of a wet paper bag they also apparently don’t sell anything but the dollar menu after 11 and they also don’t sell chicken nuggets after 11 as well
I love how they put new machines in the ordering place because it was getting crowded when we had to stand in line for 50 minutes. I love how they changed the bathrooms, it looks better thatn it used to. In the future I wish that they added a separate room for the kids area because it got boring when they took it off.
This McDonalds is literally THE worst McDonalds I have ever been to in my life. Unfortunately it is so close to my house it is the only option unless I go out of the way. Every single time I go here without fail the workers get my order wrong. There is always a long wait and they have an attitude and obviously are too incompetent to be able to get my order correct. If these people cant even get my order right, how did they get a job there in general?? Im sorry but this McDonalds NEEDS help.
Every single time I come here there is a issue. No coke, cant understand that I dont rant a drink, meals made wrong etc. Currently sitting here for 20 mins in the drive through. For what? No apology, no explanation. Just sitting. I cant even get out of the drive thru line because of the landscaping. This is ridiculous.
The McDonalds on Ernst Place in East Aurora is THE worst McDonalds for customer service on earth. Seriously. The. Worst. I received a complimentary food voucher from McDonalds Corporate because of the terrible experience I had previously had at this location, and, sure enough, this McDonalds wouldnt accept it for the item.
Long wait times and I have NEVER received a completed correct order. Last night I saw a rat going under the concrete slab by the drive thru order sign after sitting at the screen for over 15 mins before ordering. Spent almost 30$ and did not get a complete and did not want it after the rat sighting. Not going here again.
First time customer at this location but will not be returning. Would rate no stars if I could. Extremely slow service. Staff seems untrained and poor customer service. One staff member almost soaked me with smoothie as he used the blender incorrectly. Luckily I jumped back so the only thing he soaked was himself and their computer system. By the time I got my food (30 minutes after entering) my fries were cold and burger was sub-par. The pickles were thrown into the wrapper and the burger was so sloppily assembled I couldnt pick it up.
I never gave reviews but I had to this time. This is The WORST McDonalds on PLANET! Long waiting time, bad service, bad attitude. Asked for one hot chocolate, they gave me one cup not even half full. When I go ask for a new one they told me to stop yelling -.-. Because this is the only mcd near my school, I have to come back every time. This time I asked for white hot chocolate, they gave me hot coffee. How nice.
Awful the women talked so fast you couldnt understand her and she repeated herself three times with no alteration in how fast she was talking. I only ordered two SMALL mcflurries and it took them over 10 minutes to make. When we got to the window the MANAGER actually said, what you had? And then they made it. Terrible service all in all it was even made messy.
This place is trash, McDonalds is pretty sub-par as it is but this location is especially bad.I just sat in line for 21 minutes in the drive thru waiting on 2 McChickens and I was the only one in line. I actually couldve drove home and made a 3 course meal in the time it took for these guys to make a couple sandwiches, like seriously how do you suck this much?Wont be returning.
Usually like this McDonalds its usualy fast thru their drive thru. but today its extra be slow day as its taking me 10 mins to get through it today. Seriously every mcdonalds should just be closed after 11pm cause this is a joke if you dont have the staff then close their is current 2 people working its 1152pm est -_-

Just...dont. Go to Colvin if you can. Then if not, to Delaware at Sheridan. Then if not, to Niagara St. between Hertel and Ontario. The Elmwood location simply fails every single time. Wait forever, poor attitudes, wrong food, cold food, dirty counters, tables, and fountain drink area...just an epic disappointment no matter how many tries you give this place. The people who can make a difference clearly dont care, theyve certainly had enough complaints to really put their foot down here...people keep showing up, so Im sure they just put it in their good enough, who cares, break even, whatever category of locations. You wanna see it change? Stop going. Maybe theyll hire a white person so there isnt so much racial foolishness all the time. Black person, gets treated like normal, even friendly. White person, gets treated like their presence is an inconvenience and a nuisance to everybody working there. Like how dare you come in here, cant you see were all black, we are not here to serve YOU, Im gonna make your experience as unpleasant as possible so you dont walk away feeling like I just served or helped you in any way... Just so corny and immature, like theyre really making a stand and speaking to the world with this profound statement...ugh. Humiliating. Its 2017, get over yourselves and do your job. Today Monday March 20th, 2017... My son had to use the bathroom Soo we stopped at this McDonalds on 2058 Elmwood Ave. In Buffalo, NY.. We were going to order after he used the rest room.. But, the mens stall had no Toilet tissue in either of the 2 spindles needless to say I reported it to the Female Mgr. But it was to late my son had already came out to tell me it was no tissue and he needed to go wash up.. Which now put us off schedule.. For the movies.. But what makes it even worst we didnt even get an appology.. She just told one of the male workers to go fill it.. Ill never eat at this one again. In fact its going on Facebook.. This is unacceptable.
I arrived at 10:30 a.m. and requested a steak bagel sandwich to which they said they stopped serving at 10:30 I then asked for a quarter pounder and after receiving payment I was asked to park on the other side of the drive-thru and wait for a whole 9 minutes for one quarter pounder sandwich..... never again

2022-07-18They have the ability to mark items out-of-stock for online orders, but choose not to do so. Rather they let you place the order, pay, and show up to the restaurant before they tell you half your order is missing. I wouldnt have come out to pick up a single hash brown if I knew you werent going to have coffee, but you took my order anyway. This is a regular occurrence when ordering ahead

2022-04-14Customer service is nonexistent!!. The young lady at the drive thru takes your order with extreme attitude. It was extremely hard to here to place an order aswell as here the worker on the other end. Her anger and frustration to do her job effectively was clearly taken out on myself as a customer. She literally was yelling with attitude as if i did something wrong by tryn to place a order. I will never order from this McDonalds again....P.s how is it possible that a Manger or team- shift leader or ect, no one reprimanded this young lady. It appears that poor customer service is the new norm, so expect to spend your money in this McDonalds where you are yelled at and served with attitude.. P.S I REFUSED TO SPEND MY MONEY ON HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE SO WE GOT OUT OF LINE AND LEFT.....

2022-05-27Worst McDonalds I have ever been to. 3 people got tired of waiting to place order and just left. No, this wasnt due to staffing issues other than the fact that the staff definitely needs new leadership. Lot of standing around talking.

2022-03-17There is always something missing or the food is either over cooked or undercooked. On top of that I once waited almost 20 minutes for someone manning the cashier while she was busy chitchatting with another employee there. I also stopped going here after I saw a rat going into the back door that one of their employees carelessly left wide open.
