I am an unsatisfied customer🤬 the drive-thru line was extremely long. You were unable to go inside to order any food 🤬 One of the main reasons that we love McDonalds so much are for the french fries. By this being a three day weekend(October 10th) we could not understand when we ordered two double cheeseburgers, two fish cheese and tartar sauce, two apple pies and a medium sized iced coffee to be told we have NO FRENCH FRIES or APPLE PIES😭 This is the first time in history for me that a McDonalds had NO FRIES😭. I have gone to many McDonalds without apple pies BUT NO FRIES 😭 I gave it one star because the double cheeseburgers were hot but my fish fillets were cold and my iced coffee was nasty 🤬 Change my mind giving it 3⭐ only because the young ladies gave me service with a smile and a lot of ketchup 🤣
I can understand having a Spanish menu if we were in a Southern state, but we are in a Northern State and yet have Spanish, what about the French Canadians.... playing out an agenda....
Absolutely the worst French fries and burgers, the fries tasted like they were laying around for 3 days and the burgers were cold. My WORST McDonalds experience in 50 years. I called and urged them to please close their doors instead of ripping people off....the chocolate shake was GOOD
Always busy, had to check the order because they screwed up on my grandsons burger and prices are crazy expensive unless you use the app.

Owner should try eating at their own restaurant some time! Tonight saw multiple employees touching their face n right back to food prep without washing their hands. Drive thru order is wrong literally every time. If you want your order corrected plan on waiting inside another 15 minutes. Could burger bun could possibly be more stale? 0 stars

Ever since they got a new manager, not gonna lie the food tasted so much better. The wait times were a little long sometimes, but thats due to them training new workers. Overall, the wait time is short, friendly staff, and great food.
Throughout COVID this Mcdonalds was open. Now that about 70% of people are vaccinated their lobby is closed! This dont even make sense. Make it make sense? I also came from a 3 hour drive to use the restroom to only find out there are closed! They have become so slow, and never have anything! If they do lately their food is cold. Please get it together! Please FDA do something!!

Not good. Ordered an egg and sausage biscuit. Biscuit was stale and so hard i almost broke my tooth! Thought i would just egg and sausage part and There was a hair in it as well. Never going there again.

This McDonalds is the worst McDonalds around. There is always a wait in the drive-thru and they never get the orders right. Twice we have been in there and they gave us drinks without a straw. How do you have a shake without a straw. We ask for a chicken sandwich and we get a hamburger. This McDonalds needs new management.

Have to tell you...I am from out of town and I stopped because my boys were starving . Just after I ordered the registers went down. Figures. Everything was a little hectic for a few minutes ( about 20) but I was understanding, unlike almost everyone else! Because I was unable to pay because of the register problem, they gave me all my food completely free. (35 dollars) guess it pays to keep your cool.

Not the friendliest staff. Also, asked fir extra sauce and wanted to charge .30 cents each. I know thats a general McDonalds policy, but the person at the window checked our order 3 times on the screen before she begrudgingly gave us 2 extra bbq sauces to see if paid for them. Seriously??? 🙄
Says they serve breakfast till 11 online. They switch abruptly at 10:30 off of the breakfast menu.Wait times at the drive thru are sometimes up to 20 minutes. Its faster to just go order Chinese food.
We went there this morning got three sausage cheese McGriddles and two chicken and cheese McGriddles and one sausage egg and cheese McMuffin. I’m not even kidding I took pictures once we got home we started handing them out to the kids everyones sandwich is burnt black and hard!!! Ridiculous not some cheap sandwich they shouldn’t be black and hard. The kids literally were trying to pick out which top and bottom looked less burnt finally I just said put it back in the bag. We don’t really go to fast food places that much so when you pay and expect it to taste how they should normally be and they aren’t just a waste of money and not up to the standards how they should be. $15 down the drain we would have went back but my fiancé had to go to work.
This place sits like an oasis just visible from the roadway, like a gateway to humanity and civilization from an otherwise dark and foreboding pathway into an unknown abyss...But they only do drive-thru, so not a good stop if you need to use the Facilities
Food is never the quality of other McDonalds restaurants. VERY long wait times for food. Never use the drive through during lunch or dinner time as the the wait time is even longer that going inside. Curbside seems to be the fastest way to get food out of this McDonalds even though it’s still a great wait. The employees here really do not care about the job at all and just mope around. I would recommend going to the McDonalds in Catskill.
Stopped is for coffee, asked employee how much for a coffee, he said it cost 1 dollar, any size... great. I would like a large with splenda and cream. Total $2 and change. It cost 1 DOLLOR MORE for splenda & cream, he told me.Dont know if McDonalds employee scammed me or not... for a buck?
It is quick and on my way to work. The food is hot and it is your typical fast food. Usually food is ok...went this last time got the butter milk chicken sandwich and it was just tossed together...but I rearranged it and it was tasty.
I wish the young gentleman taking my order was a little bit more help full but otherwise it was good
Semi small location but very easy to see. Staff is pretty friendly, food gets to you very quick. The nice thing is this location has the displays to order your food if the lines are too long (which they do get pretty long). Overall, my partner and I were satisfied. In and out in about 10 minutes.

I havent been to McDonalds in a long time. Went inside ordered breakfast (take out ONLY😞😞😞) So many tables but no one sitting and enjoying their Breakfast☺😒. There was one worker spraying and disinfecting the area. Happy holidays☺

Want to give zero stars. Sat in the first drive thru for 15 mins with no response. Watch 2 cars go thru 2nd drive thru order and get food. Backed up n went thru 2nd drive thru. Sat there 15 mins no one answered or sayed anything then they shut all the lights off n closed with four cars behind me n in the first drive thru as well. Im done with this place every week is a new issue. I hope it goes broke im so tired of it.
All depends on the location,,,lets say we are in Cairo location,,well that place is decent drive thru and your order doesnt need to be checked and you might get exactly whatever you ordered but no ketchup, silver ware, straws,.

I waited 30 minutes for 2 cheeseburgers, a large fry and a large diet coke. when I received my cup, I never got a lid for my soda and had to wait an additional 5 minutes for my lid. half the employees seem stoned out of their minds and I totally do not recommend this franchise location to anyone. you’re better off waiting 20 minutes to drive somewhere else.
They were very slow. And didnt get my order right. 4 miles down the road and I discover we have no straws. No french fries. Also was giving a girls Happy meal toy when they asked me and I told them a boy. Definitely not the place to go if you want your order right and want everything you paid for.
Decent bathroom, it was clean,but I didnt any food.
9 out of 10 times I get my order messed up...... Today my son wanted a frappe. Took one sip out passed it to me while making the most disgusted face. I took a sip and it was nasty sour. Thinking it could just be a bad combo of food in my mouth we had someone else take a sip and she almost instantly threw up.
They were extremely rude and literally out of everything. Would highly recommend finding anywhere else to go. Total waste of time and not worth waiting in the huge line
Clean place great associates
This place was awful. I waited 5 minutes for a simple cheeseburger and small fries even though it wasnt really busy. It was also so cold in there, you could practically see your breath. I told the manager and she told me that theyre not allowed to adjust the thermostat. The bathroom was behind disgusting. I really wish I didnt have to go. There was toilet paper all over the floor. I had to clean off the toilet seat and then put toilet paper down on it to protect my own seat if you know what I mean. Wish they would just get seat protectors or heres an idea, maybe actually clean the bathroom more than once a month. Its a horrible place if you need a quiet place to work. The only good thing about it is that it has a pretty awesome play area for kids.
Cold fries and quarter pounder, also the bun on a premium chicken sandwich was so stale it was unedible.
Had to wait to order even though there was nobody else in line, the employees were talking amongst themselves. Food was lackluster at best, the hash brown was pure grease and inedible. They were out of ketchup. And the kids play zone is designed for older kids only. My 2.5 year old wanted to go down the slide but didnt want to climb the 7 platforms to get to the top. Wont be back!
Although our food was served hot and fast by great personnel the stench of the sulfur water was quite disturbing. They need air fresheners in the restrooms so customers do not leave smelling of rotten eggs that could send people and pets alike running. Although I always travel with something to mask the occasional gaseous irruptions...Please Help our air by doing better.
Update Dec 21 - The food and service has really dropped. Slow service is understandable and I wouldnt complain but they havent gotten an order right in months and the quality is terrible. Its really a shame. They used to be the best in the county.
Very Slow service. Surly employees, perhaps having a bad day, happens to us all. But we wouldve appreciated hot food and wouldve overlooked the service had the food warranted it. Also, cleaning staff not maintaining the restrooms very well. We advise driving to the next rest stop, if u can wait.
Slow service. 9/10 they get your order wrong and forget to put half of it in the bag. So you can turn back around and wait AGAIN. Burritos are sad and pathetic. Fries are usually cold and old. When getting drinks they are never filled all the way.Need to teach staff how to process transactions properly. Management is always rude as is most of the staff. Ive expressed all this prior to writing this review but its the same every time I go. They dont care because its the only option for fastfood near by. I will not return tho as I can go elsewhere.

Wow, ive never been to a better Mcdonalds! I had the profound joy of interacting with the manager, Colin and he made me feel listened to and valued. Ill never go anywhere else to eat. Ever. Even if I get fat, having such a view would be worth it-- and no I dont mean the food! ;)

McDonalds at Rt. 23 Cairo NY @ 9:30pm on a Saturday was less then appetizing. The staff looked like they didnt want to be there but they were not rude, maybe just lazy. The place was kind of dirty, no ketchup at pump, burgers were dry like they were cooked earlier, lets just say we expected more. On a Saturday evening at this time theres not alot of dining options in the area. Please clean up your act here, the local people in the area and visitors deserve more.
Service was sub-par. Ice cream machine always is down. Rumor has it , they say its down so they dont have to clean it at the end of the night. The manager stated he had 3 people call out, which I understand. I will try it another day and see if service is the same.

McDonald’s at Cairo NY is worthless. Every time I go to get anything like ice cream or chicken tenders they tell me the ice cream machine is down and just recently I’ve been being told a lot they are out of tenders. These employees want to make 15 dollars an hour but are to lazy to do anything and it takes even longer to get your food. For the past couple of weeks I have been going everyday to get some type of ice cream product and they tell me every time the machine is down. I was just a there a few min ago to do the same thing and a women tell me the same answer as always the machine is down. And I asked for tender and they didn’t have anymore. So I asked why is it I come here and machine is down. She response with it was running yesterday. Such a lier. These employee don’t deserve no 15 an hour.
Apparently when you get a soda at the drive thru and the soda level is two inches lower than the top of the cup and you ask why, its because they have a machine that pours the drinks they dont touch it at all. I feel like if they cant teach people how to add soda to a cup that is obviously not full then why even have anything but machines here?
The slowest restaurant I ever been to. Omg you can be the only one at the drive thru and you will still be waiting forever and to add insult to injury the order comes out wrong or food is not even good (I.e fries so greesy or burger sloppy). Saddest McDonalds I really ever been to.

Conveniently located. Had to stop here for a quick bite for our long journey home. Staff of two was busy working the drive thru and the counter. Didnt have to wait extremely long for our food considering the the 2 employees wee working madly to get orders out.
Waited too long at the drive thru when there was literally no cars in the parking lot save the employees. When we finally were helped and pulled around, the girl at the window picked her nosein front of us. Another time I visited they forgot halfy order in the drive thru and didnt come back to fix it. Disappointing staff.
Decent place. Big parking lot, inside is spacious, restrooms were clean. Food and staff were decent enough. Typical McDonalds experience.....get your grub, eat and get going. Food was a little on the soggy side, but have had worse.
Went here and ordered two regular plain McGriddles, proceed to pay 4.64 for the sandwiches, then get my food and all I have are four pancake buns with no egg bacon or cheese. Is THIS what a regular McGriddle is?? If I wanted pancakes I would’ve ordered them!
Only one car in the double drive thru and yet they made me wait to order... and wait... and wait. Then another car pulled in and they got to order ahead of me.It took NINE minutes from when they finally took my order to when I got my food. No apology and my order was wrong. Terrible service!

Being on a major throfare, this bathroom clearly gets more use than it is desigined for. Urinal stall is very tight. Having been born the dominant gender, I cannot vouch for the condition or cleanliness of the Womans restroom.Service: Good. Nothing special, or out of the ordinary.Food: Typical of McDonaldsDining Area: Very Clean. This place has an indoor childrens play area.Drive thru: Very fast. This place has two ordering kiosks, and handles drive thru orders very expeditiously.Overall its a convenient stop on long road trips, but certainly not worth going out of your way for.
Never got to go because their hours changed without an update on google. And no answer machine to tell you this if you try calling. You just have to show up to be disappointed in personlate at night when you are hungry. 👎
Ok so I gave a McDonalds a 4 because out of most McDonalds Ive been to this one is pretty consistent. Foods usually fresh, waiting time depends on what time of the day it is like most fast food. I dont go too often but when I do its what I would want out of a McDonalds. There is a play place here as well
This was a refreshing visit to McDonalds. I have no been in a few years, the changes were nice and the girl working the counter was so nice, it was a breath of fresh air. Will definitely stop at the location again
Im standing waiting for my food right now and im so disrespected. The manager took our order and was so rude, there was no need for it. Im not coming back ever ill drive to catskill for burger king instead. The managers was rushing us and had an attitude like we were wasting his time. And when my boyfriend got pissed and went to car he giggled.
Our quarter pounders were 90% RAW, the people cooking need to be taught to cook correctly. Two days later we eat here again, our chicked strips are half done. We wont be eating here again anytime soon.
Worst McDonalds I have ever went to. ordered only a happy meal they forgot to give me a chicken nugget meal were they forgot the sauce and only about 10 fries in a medium meal and a chicken sandwich meal and wouldnt u know only got about 10 fries in it as well. Went inside to fix the order no problem but everyone in the place moves as slow as a sloth and will not give no attention to help you waited and waited while everyone had there hand up there as looking at all the trash on the floor like they seen a damm unicorn. I used to buy my coffee and feed my family at this McDonalds and they used to be competitively priced.However since they installed the ordering kiosk ... They raised their prices ridiculously on everything. They lost this big spending customer .

I used the drive thru and there was a small wait for the food due to being cooked. They had me pull-up to a waiting area & bought the food to my car. The staff was very friendly and the food was hot. What more can you ask for from McDonalds.

A normal and clean place to grab some food. It is hit or miss here, sometimes the food is on point other times it is past the time frame to be served. Atleast it is not consistently disappointing like other places.
This McDonalds has bad service. They took so long to make my order. I waited more than 30 minutes. In the end I received my order but, I was missing some things.They are very slow. Also, they had no smoothies or slushees. I would not recommend going there.

Cant make a simple coffee. Asked for double double -- 2 milks, 2 sugar (they didnt know what that meant). Coffee tasted watered down and looked and tasted as if nothing was added. Ketchup packets were sticky.

Dry burgers, cold & limp fries, only one of two order lanes working.
Never get complete order and burgers always thrown together sloppy. If not for it being only fast food available i wouldnt come here. 1 star because 0 not an option.

In Cairo... the condition of that restaurant is deplorable. No soap, no towels, incorrect order and poor food. Also, the play area was so filthy that my 8 yr old daughter wouldnt play there...
Just okay here.. very slow service even if your the only one inside the restaurant as they care more about drive thru orders.. it is upstate though and were never in a rush when were up there so were okay with it

Horrible service. Unfriendly staff and a manager could careless how long I waited for my order which was a double cheese and double quarter which was ordered for dogs. Think 15 mins is a little long.
Self order kiosk didnt work, ketchup was empty and not filled while I was there. Food was standard McDonalds.

Went for breakfast quit serving 10:15 a.m.
I was there at about 2:30 pm today and had to wait to get waited on and when we got our food it was cold so i took it back and got another and to my suprize it was cold as well it was the worst $37 i have ever spent on food

Like the breakfast sandwich and coffee. Only thing that u didnt like about is the hash brown. It was soaked with oil and very greasy. It wasnt crispy at all.

Always go in the morning at 6:00 when they open and theyre never open, they dont usually open for a half hour after theyre supposed to for some reason, everybody including myself that go there in the morning are beyond mad

2022-05-17My fries were overcooked. They were mostly all brown and crunchy. I didnt notice until I drove away. I picked through them and chucked the rest. These were honestly the worst McDonalds ffs Ive ever had in my life.

2022-05-29Stood at counter for 10 minutes before anyone even came to take order. And they kept walking by front counter so they knew there were people there. Then they were getting orders all mixed up.And then on top of it, order cooked wrong. Why is it so difficult for these places to read the grill slip? NO CHEESE means NO CHEESE. Not perhaps no cheese if you are feeling like it today. I worked at McDonalds kitchen for a few years, its not a hard job if you pay attention.What a hot mess this place is. Trying to vie for worst place with Dunkin Donuts.

2022-03-14Everytime I go here I end up having to come back due to getting the wrong order, cold/uncooked fries/hash browns, and my coffee is never right. They seem to double up on the cream to make up for not putting any sugar. I dont know why I continue spending money here!

2022-02-27Each time I come here I say I won’t be back and today was the final straw. Order is NEVER right and when I went to tell them I was missing two burgers and tried to show them they disregarded me threw the burgers on the counter and in front of me began to whisper to one another. I believe this may have been one of the managers a young woman with red hair. I sat down and reviewed my bill and realized yet another mistake but I just ate my food and left without incident because I was so annoyed. If McDonalds is your choice I suggest driving a few miles down the road to Hudson. This location would be a perfect location for an episode of Undercover Boss because there is a lack of training her specifically customer service! I witnessed a similar incident with another customer with the same disregard for his issue!
