McDonalds is successful for a reason- very straightforward every time you visit. This particular location just underwent a remodel so it is very clean and nice. Wait times arent bad, though the establishment is usually busy. Drive through is expedient and efficient.Nice place!

Typical visit here at Micky Ds.I got the 2 for $6 ( I got the fish fillet). Im not really impressed with their fish sandwich anymore.
Service was quick. Restaurant was clean and not very busy. We enjoyed access to complimentary wifi.

😡VERY POOR, UNCARING customer service with Shift Manager, Amber & Supervisor, Erica!As a retired teacher traveling home to Cleveland, Ohio from a Benedictine Monastery retreat in Westfield, Vermont, I was absolutely dismayed by the lack of Thanksgiving kindness and basic human compassion.I spoke to Amber as the Manager asking if she could please comp me just a fish sandwich as I was needing to use the remainder of my cash for gasoline (15 hour trip) and I was feeling very hungry and low on energy to finish driving home at night.Amber was cold, callous and UNCARING towards a person in need.She stated (and quoted her Supervisor, Amber) by saying If we do this for you, then we will have to do it for everyone! 😡SERIOUSLY?!They both lack true leadership abilityand should be ashamed of their lack of human compassion.I hope Corporate McDonalds retrains and/or DEMOTES these heartless workers.😠

My Courter pounder was literally flat out old old it hax been sitting tAll week or all month! Absolute worst EVER burger Ive had in my entire life! Well the r bites I took before I gagged n grabbed a few frys that were still half froze n mushy 🤢....this new generation of kids cant even cook burger n frys 🤔😔

This location is currently under construction and the only service available is drive-thru. That is what we needed so it was fine. The food was warm so that is my only complaint but staff is following COVID protocol by wearing masks. Service through the drive-thru was pretty quick. Staff were friendly. We ordered chicken nuggets; cheeseburger; double cheeseburger; fries and fish sandwiches. We made special requests and the order was correct.

This McDonalds almost always has soggy, undercooked, and way over-salted fries. I am so tempted to ask for some fries with my salt. It doesnt do much good to order a large fry, because the container is usually filled no more than a medium. You would think that when someone is making almost $15/hr that they could cook fries. I think they must be trained to undercook the fries. If I wanted great food though, I probably shouldnt go to McDonalds to begin with.
Worst experience in a McDonalds ever! Got cussed out by the night manager for entering, when it shouldve been locked of you cant go in, and I was told its not her problem my food was wrong. Then told go ahead and call corporate...so I am. And she was on the phone before we got there and was still on it 2 hours later...I know this as I tried continuously calling to establish her name. She is the worst McDonalds manager I have ever seen in the whole US.

I’m very ashamed that this restaurant stayed open during renovations. It’s unfortunate that Mr. Foster is too cheap to shut the store down for a couple days. He’s rather have his workers run back and forth about a 40 ft distance to take payments and deliver food to cars in the drive through. Mind you it was also sprinkling outside... McDonald’s employee had to wear a hard hat and do this for however long. Not acceptable. I really hope this employee received some type of compensation for the asinine requests made by their place of employment.

The quality of service has slipped drastically. Fast food is no longer fast. That applies to all fast food type restaurants. The quality of the service used to be a lot better.
Just got my McRibs! Delicious. Probably good they arent available all year! Both girls were very helpful and friendly. Service is so important, and good service is a treat. No contact practices were evident. Breakfast in a pinch. Hot and tasty. Would give five stars but prices are getting high.

There are two mcdonalds in the Corning painted post area, and this one is my preferred. The food is hot and the service is friendly and quick! Extra kudos to the day shift! This store is usually busy, but wait times are low, and its relatively clean! Ive yet to have an order be wrong, and accuracy is a big plus in my book! Thank you for all your hard work and patience with customers! Keep it up!
Foods not always hot. Ice coffee has no consistency. One time youll get a ton of flavor/sugar, the next theres barely any. Staff is decent but drive-thru person is usually impatient and hard to understand.
You pay for a hot chocolate and I expect it to have chocolate in it. If you tell them you want extra chocolate they charge you and they drizzle little more on the whip cream.
Fries were soggy! The burger in the Quarter Pounder with cheese must have sat in the warming tray for hours, it was dry and tasteless! So much for McDonalds return after five years!
Food is usually on point but the Drive thru situation needs to be addressed you have individuals coming from the side entry trying to cut in front of people. I have seen multiple arguments and fights bc of this lol I just want my burger lol
Make sure your wearing your mask and They used to have a promotion on their receipts where if you did answered questions on different aspects of your food, their restaurant, and your service, you could get a free milkshake or smoothie.. idk what they have now but definitely check your receipt!
Stopped at the Horseheads store for a quarter pounded, with extra onions, pickles, and mustard. All that was fine, what I didnt care for was the over done piece of hockey puck I got with the pickles, onions, and mustard. I worked McDonalds for ten years, I know that burger had been sitting in the cabinet for at least one maybe two full cycles.
The fries were great but the burger was too old, it was pretty dry, bun and all. Not a constant place we eat, but when we do, its not normally that bad. Tho the fries are usually old.. cant win em all

And just once I would like to have them get my order right! If you say no onions because you are allergic, why do you still get onions? Very attentive HERE. Good service, much better than the CORNING McDonalds. I AM so addicted to their SMOOTH mellow coffee I HAVE TO have a large cup a day at least. I TAKE my dog through the drive thru SO he gets his CHICKEN nugget FIX AND THEY ALWAYS FUSS over him which makes me feel happy.
The soda machine is often out - its easy to be let down. It is always a gamble if the employees will be kind or kurt that day, but when it goes well its really really good.
If it is a quick bite you want. Then for your money this is a good place to go. Their prices are still reasonable. Unlike other fast food restaurants. I really enjoy their menu specialty items. Cause only here can you get a shamrock shake or a McRib sandwich. Of course their French fries are still the best. And lets not forget their desserts. I love the Apple pies and ice cream cones.
This is a nice mc Donalds, Ive never really had an issue here. They have a nice big dining area and some outdoor seats as well as a play place for the children. Food is always good and fast.

This McDonalds is usually one of the better ones (Corning). Maybe its just cause after the lunch rush or something but it was a disaster!The sanitizing hand wipes were gone, ketchup pump is broke, trash is full, tables are dirty, and fries were cold!Guess Ill have to try a different location next time I wanna treat the kids to lunch!

I was thrilled when we found out that I could order scrambled eggs and bacon a la carte. The price for this was less than $4.00. I am working on losing weight, and limiting my carbohydrate intake. So I ordered 1 breakfast burrito to split with my husband, plus the eggs and bacon, as I was working at the race track that day, and was going to burn through the calories.Anyway, the food wasnt ready. So we pulled into the reserved spot to wait. This was fine. They came out within 5 min. with piping hot food. After we drove away we discovered the issues. There was no fork for bacon and eggs. Then on top of that, my burrito had sausage and eggs in it, nothing else. No cheese, no veggies, it was bland. Thank goodness I did ask for picante sauce today.My husband did eat it. But I did not waste my calories on something with carbs that I didnt like.
Tried mobile ordering. Never went through. They had me try the other store can n town. Drove across town and they didnt have it. So I had to reorder when I got there. They screwed up my order. McDonalds sucks in every aspect. Never going there again.

I absolutely hated the experience of eating the food from this restaurant. They made us pay for two mcdoubles and while we did order them, we never received them. I ordered a ten peice chicken nugget and they only gave me nine; and the slushie had no ice. I normally like McDonalds but to be honest burger king is better by miles. I would rather eat from a trash can than eat at this McDonalds. You might think its easy to just check the bag before you leave the drive through but for a good customer experiance, you dont think you would have to, especially in a place that calls themselves a good fast food place; when in reality the opposite is true. This McDonalds in particular is just stomach churning in comparison to others. The fast food employees were not friendly at all and they didnt even do their job correctly, and lastly I believe it might stem from a lack of proper people in charge, making sure everything is in shape and if I could give no stars I would.

They let me come in to the vestibule [entrance hallway] to stay out of an impending downpour, amidst the Covid Pandemic even though I made it clear that I wasnt planning to order food... Said it was against policy, but still let me in tip stay dry and that was awfully kind on that young workers part!

I have been coming here for about 2 years now. I would bring food home for my fiance on my way back from work. Well tonight is the last time. I am so grossed out, I found a baby cockroach in my burger wrapper.
What makes anyones order more important than anyone elses? Drive thu time. Nothing more important than that.....oh they already have your money so they tell you pull forward and wait. Been there twice, and both times!! Also the manager was rudely talking over me when I walked in to get my order.

Waited forever and a half to get my McMuffin, only for the window to open and lose all hope when the girl told me to pull over and wait even longer. It was probably the saddest part of my morning. The only thing that helped was my McMuffin was delicious.
The service was very slow. We waited 15 minutes for an order if hashbrowns and while pulled to the waiting area as instructed we were in the way of traffic and got bumped by two other vehicles who had been served.
Theres been a an up grade late on it but just food needs to be up graded. 🍟 are sometimes cold or taste the old grease. Big Macs are nastyly put together.

I am not looking for a hand out. As people no longer get a second chance in my world. Came in about a hour ago. Ordered nuggets and fries. I havent been to McDonalds in months and was craving McNuggets. The nuggets I recieved were extreamly dried out. As well as the fries didnt have that fresh crispy taste to them. I recently worked at a Mcdonalds but switched jobs due to relocating. Not sure about this store but we had a General Manager who came through drive threw every so often to make sure we were serving the freshest food possible. We wouldve failed our General Manager inspection with the food I was served. Other than that great friendly staff! Awful food.

Ordered bacon, egg and cheese bagel meal....wanted extra sauce....didnt get it went back up again...they supposedly put more sauce on...didnt get it...questioned them they said they did.....gave up..the hash Browns are always lousy...tastes like fried in old oil....4 people working in front...one other customer and myself both complained about being ignored.. young girl with pink hair very unpleasant ...little bugs flying around especially over by soda fountain area

I agree with the last reviewer. Manager is highly rude and the staff does not know what they are doing. I did a mobile order and bc the manager didnt know how to bring it up with the fact that I paid she made me show her proof as if I was lying. Then continued to give a rude attitude. Not the first experience here with horrible attitudes. Will not be back.

On our way back to Canada, we tried to find through the Google maps the nearby McD. First, location was always near main road or highway. Secondly, MxD offers free Wi-Fi, which is very pleasant to catch up your social networks after a long drive without connection. Service was slow today, but the background audio was great. I noticed they played Queens You Are My Best Friend.
Im all for the increase in pay for fast food associates; however, why is it every frighten Saturday I take my daughter for a treat after balllet class that you always get our order wrong. Is it not simple enough to check your food prior to handing it out the drive thru window. Today we ordered a McGriddle and all it had on it was a sausage patty...really!! The drive thru is a pain here, as there are 2 ways to come into it. If it is really busy, its hard to tell who is next where the lines merge, then there are the jerks that Always think its their turn and they squeeze in line.
We stop at this one whenever we travel. Always Friendly & Fast service. Its on the smaller size for eating in with limited seating but we hardly ever do.

2022-06-28This place has always been kind and reliable to me, and the manager is great too. Ive worked in fast food many times and it is definitely a very hard working, fast paced, and many times stressful job but they still push through no matter what here. So to all the people who see this review and work at this McDonalds, YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING AND DESERVE THE BEST! As for all the customers who read this review, give fast food employees your FULL RESPECT >_> without them you couldnt shove your greasy food down your meat holes, so be kind to these workers 🤌 no matter what 👌.

2022-04-10Definitely a minus if i could rate that. Went for lunch today. No dressing on chicken sandwich. They wanted to charge an extra 40 cents after we realized there was no sauce on it. Had to wait 15 min for dressing.Also ordered Big Mac. Cold all the way through, cheese was not melted. It had two buns on top nothing between them. No bun in the middle... Definitely an Fail for today. Maybe certain employees need more training or new career.

2022-04-05I wouldnt normally rate fast food restaurants. This was a rare exception. Very quick drive-thru service!! The order was accurate. Polite staff. I was pleasantly surprised for fast food. If Im in the area again I wont hesitate to stop at this location.

2022-07-07Gross! Very disappointed! This was in Wellsboro, Pa. Sandwiches were cold! Fries werent cooked all the way! And the girl at the pick up window dropped our drink of iced tea and poured a new one from 2 cups sitting at the drink dispenser! Awful!!!

2022-02-26( we did a mobile and they ONLY OFFERED DRIVE UP AND NO PLACE TURN AROUND,PEOPLE LINED UP BEHIND US There was a 25 minute wait in the Drive-Thru then we got our food ice cold I think the fries was never cooked just put under heat lamp the people had to open our sack to see if our order was right 5 times they did this and top it off it was NOT ,it was a mobile order , and the manager was just standing there staring at a piece of paper why all the young workers was trying to do a job that they had not been trained for. To be honest I know everybody is short-handed but when everybody pitches in it becomes a crew🤢

2021-09-29Stop here on my way home to watkins glen. Order food for myself my wife and kids. We get our food and by the time I get to eat about 20 mins down the road I take a bite of my burger double quarter pounder and the whole top patty is raw see photo. I will never go back!

2022-02-13As with any fast food chain its not the best. Always missing something or messed up some how. Something is always broke and ppl arent always the happiest. But thats your typical run of the mill fast food situation.

2020-08-08So were in a pandemic and they arent using gloves to prep the food etc... Id go to boothwyn, I at least seen the employees wear gloves.

2022-06-06Ordered and paid for 2 LARGE pineapple mango smoothies but was only give. 2 SMALL pineapple mango smoothies and an awful lot of attitude with them !

2022-05-20Service was okay, hamburger was dry. As an African American I was a little uncomfortable at this location with the looks of not belonging from staff and fellow white customers.
